We enjoyed our stay here a lot. The unit was easy to get to. We enjoyed our breakfast each morning on the lanai. The unit gets a nice breeze in the morning and afternoon. The ac works great. It is just a short walk from shops, food and Lava Lava. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Condo that was in a very quiet complex. No noise between walls like other condos we have stayed at. Felt very private and we had everything that we needed to have a wonderful stay!
Appreciate all of the cookware, cooking sprays, oils and basic spices. Boogie boards and beach chairs came in handy for days at the beach!

This was our first time to Kauai but we have used Vrbo many times. As usual the booking process was seamless and communication with property manager was great. We enjoyed the condo. It was perfect for my husband and I space wise. It had pretty much everything we needed. We would have like to have had a small cooler to pack a lunch to go. And also a new non-stick frying pan with a plastic spatula would be great. Other than that the property was quiet, clean and it’s close proximity to Coconut Marketplace was awesome. It was the perfect location for all of our vacation needs. Thank you to Micki for his hospitality and allowing our late checkout!

Convenient location to get to all sites on the island (North Shore / South Shore / Waimea Canyon). Nice, roomy, clean place convenient to shopping/restaurants. The beach here is not good for swimming, which was fine with us.

We are so happy that we ended up staying at this condo!!! Micki is a wonderful host and was easy to reach if we had any questions. The condo is well equipped with anything we needed in the kitchen. Everything good quality and is well shown in the pictures.
Condo has been updated and was very clean. Bed was comfortable and we slept well. There is also a sofa sleeper but we did not use it. Loved sitting on the lanai. There is an air conditioner in the living room that also feeds into the bedroom. Worked really well.
Location was fabulous. We were disappointed we couldn't find anything on short notice on the South Shore. so ended up here. We were so glad to be on East Shore as it was easy to get anywhere on the island.
When we come back to Kauai, we will definitely be staying here again. We had such a wonderful time and did not want to leave! Thank you Micki for making our trip so enjoyable!

Had a wonderful visit in Kauai! Our stay was ver relaxing and from check-in to check out, everything was great. Our hosts were very responsive and the unit had everything we needed for our stay. The shopping center next door had a few restaurants to choose from, a small store for groceries, and there were a few resorts within walking distance offering other dining/bar options.

We had the best time this past week staying in this unit! First off, it is very thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed. The beach chairs, towels, kitchen supplies, linens and more were all greatly appreciated. My kids (10/12) fit on the fold out couch with a ton of room to spare, but they were happy to see that there was an additional futon that one of them could have used if the other was taking up too much space. We loved being located in Kapaa and felt very centrally located to drive either north or south for some of our adventures. The beach in front of the unit isn't swimmable, and it is practically deserted which made for the perfect place to sit and read every afternoon. The kids loved the proximity to the pools and the Coconut Market ABC - which had really great (and convenient) snacks. I would 100% recommend this unit and hope to come back again soon!

Overall very pleased with everything about the property. Wonderful communications with the host. Wish all hosts could be this good. A+++ host! The property has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the kitchen is well-equipped to prepare some meals. The only thing we couldn't figure out was how to get the beach umbrella to work. Nice location near shopping, restaurants, farmers' market, and about a 5-minute short walk to the ocean and beach. The beach has some areas where one could swim, but it can get a bit rough so maybe go to calmer beaches nearby if you have younger family members.

This is a lovely apartment that has all the comforts of home. It doesn't only look good in the pictures, it is actually really nice. Stylish furniture, cute bathroom, fully stocked kitchen with quality utensils. It has everything you need, things don't feel cheap, and everything works well. There is even a set of beach chairs and umbrella and beach towels to take outside. It's nice and quiet. The bed is comfortable and the bedding is similar to a nice hotel, like a Hyatt. The location is in a resort that is on the more basic side compared with others in the neighborhood, and it is not exactly beachfront, though you can still see and hear the ocean from the balcony. But the apartment itself is outstanding. My husband had no complaints, and that is saying a lot. I am already wishing to come back soon!

The apartment is big and clean. The interior design is fantastic. It is just very enjoyable to live in this apartment during a vacation. The kitchen appliance and dining utensils are comprehensive. In addition, there are a bicycle rental shop 8 mins walk away, a grocery shop right beside the apartment and a CVS store 5 mins walk away. Really enjoyed our stay here!

Location is perfect if you just want to relax. The Coconut Market place has a variety of places to eat lunch or dinners if you don’t want to drive to drive.. The beach is right in front of property to watch sunrise or sunset. The condo has everything for a comfortable stay. Good bed and pillows, kitchen fully stocked.
Then the host Micki, he replies promptly and very helpful.

Our stay at the Evslin’s Condo at The Plantation Hale was perfect. The check in was so easy, just checked in at the front desk. The condo was clean and beautiful decorated and stocked with all the kitchen supplies needed to cook meals. Short walk to the waterfront to watch sunrise every morning. It is only a few miles from great beaches for snorkeling (Lydgate Beach) to the south and boogie boarding/surfing (Kealia Beach) to the north. The two beach chairs and beach towels were great! The beach umbrella was broken. It would be nice if there were some boogie boards or snorkel gear available for use. There are places to rent this gear for the week nearby, but comparing prices between different businesses is nearly impossible and it was a bit expensive IMO. Loved the farmer’s markets and fresh produce that was available. It was the perfect location for exploring the island to the South and the North. Wish I had known earlier that booking transport for access to the first 2 miles of the Kalalau Trail (section that you don’t need a permit to hike) in Haena Park was so limited. By the time I knew, I wasn’t able to get parking or shuttle reservation during our visit. The bed and futon were very comfortable. Nice communal pool and hot tub, outdoor community grill and pay laundry available on site. Was a great home away from home. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Kaua’i.

We had an overall good experience here. The beach was a short walk away. You did need to walk further down toward the next hotel for beach where the kids could play as local fishing took up most of what was nearby. The marketplace was right across the street and everyone was friendly. The amenities and everything you needed were available in the unit and it was clean. With our local friends nearby, it was convenient for us to stay and visit here.

We have almost always stayed at the Kauai Coast at Beachboy, but we weren't able to get in. Plantation Hale worked well. The apartment had just about everything you need. Within a block is a wonderful walking path by the ocean. Coconut Grove Marketplace is building back up after COVID and had a good variety of stores.

Although I only gave 4 stars for location, it was really quite convenient. Nearby Coconut Marketplace is a short walk and offered several dining options and shops without the hassle of Kapaa traffic. No ocean views but quick access across a field. The condo kitchen had all the appliances and supplies if you want to cook on vacation but no dishwasher. The host was very helpful whenever I had questions. Not far from the airport and centrally located for trips north or south. I'd stay there again

Highly recommended. We checked in early, shortly after our flight landed, and that gave us a jump start on enjoying Kauai. The kitchen is large and well appointed. Same with the bathroom, which has a door between the room housing a large counter/sink and the tub-shower/toilet room. Four bath and four beach towels were provided. Plenty of hot water for four people. The master bedroom was large and opened to the long porch. A ceiling fan cooled the room. The couch is actually a futon that simply slides down and open. It was quite comfortable. We moved the coffee table and pretty much left it under the TV area even when we closed up the futon. A slider opened to the porch. The porch had several chairs/loungers but we didn't use them. The only drawback was the quality of the sliding doors and the heat they let through during the heat of the day. The communications with the owner were excellent and the written details provided about the condo and the local area were extensive. A good value, all said and done.

This vacation rental shined. It was clean. It was easy. It was comfortable. I was impressed with the planning and thoughtfulness that went into this unit.
The kitchen was open and new. It had everything we needed and was clean. The king bed had fresh white linens and a comforter with a white duvet. The shower got HOT! There were beach chairs and beach towels. Everything was in very good condition.
We usually woke up, walked 500 feet to watch the sunrise, played on the beach awhile then came back to get ready for our day of adventure. Most nights we assembled dinner from leftovers or costco chicken and salad. As we were relaxing one night, I was so comfortable and realized that someone probable put a lot of thought and effort into this unit.
I have stayed in 4 star hotels and have not felt as comfortable.
This place is great. By car, it's close to anything on the island. You can walk to the beach, a few stores, a great cafe, a beachside restaurant or two and the Coconut Grove Farmer's Market on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Kauai, we will be back. You have our heart.

My family of four really enjoyed our stay at Micki’s condo. My husband and I have a toddler and a newborn. We were cozy and comfortable. Micki provided a pack n play for the baby to sleep in. It was so nice to have one less thing to travel with. We also brought an inflatable travel bed for the toddler which fit on the floor next to the bed. All of us in one room and we were all comfortable!
The condo is located on the east coast of Kauai. It was super close for visiting Lydgate beach, attractions along the Waimea River and taking day trips to the south and north coasts. Everything we did was within 40 minute drives from the condo although there was traffic which slowed some of our trips down.
We enjoyed being able to dip our toes in the ocean by the condo (the waves were too dangerous to swim) and walking to many restaurants and businesses nearby.
Our toddler loved swimming in the pool and checking out the local snails and lizards on the property.
The kitchen is well stocked, the balcony is awesome and all of the updates to the condo give it a clean, modern, comfortable vibe.
Micki was great to work with and we hope to visit again in the future!

Very stylish decor as well as spotlessly clean, this Vrbo welcomed us! The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. The king size bed was amazing!!! The owner has thought of the extra things you might need, such as beach chairs , beach bag, chair umbrellas, and luxurious beach towels. And the lanai was sooo relaxing and the sunrise views were breathtaking. Attention to details was very much appreciated! Also, the location to the beach, various stores, markets, and restaurants is superb!! I highly recommend this unit!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The host was very responsive and gave us a late checkout. The condo was very clean, roomy, and had everything we needed. The unit and complex were quiet and well maintained. The location is great for access to both sides of the island and near plenty of stores and restaurants.
I was worried driving up because the field mentioned in the description is covered with a huge wall, but all was fine since you can't see the wall from the condo at all and you can actually walk across the grass at the resort across the street (not a busy road, by the way!) to access the beach instead of going through the field. Also, this isn't a beach you would swim at (at least not in my opinion and with kids), it's rough water, but still beautiful to walk along.
We would definitely stay here again. This is a great place to rent!

First and foremost, the owner, Micki’s, responsiveness was most impressive, both super fast and helpful. She provided a 9 page packet of information, including invaluable recommendations in advance. She was even gracious enough to offer suggestions when I initially had trouble finding a rental car. The unit was very clean and had some nice updates. Everything and more a guest could need had been thought of and it was all like new. Excluding some heavy-footed guests in the hallway, the unit was very quiet and the lanai was a relaxing space to spend a little down time.

The condo was really great, especially in regards to the location. The condo was nice, with updates and a comfy big bed. The kitchen was easy to get around and find things. The only thing about the condo specifically that seemed a little different than the listing was the lanai. There isn’t really an ocean view and the “meadow” that you cross to the ocean, is over your head thick grass and bushes. It is a very short walk to the beach though which is a reason why the location is great. There are many shops/restaurants literally across the parking lot. Being in Kapa’a was definitely our favorite on the Island for food and shopping and being equidistant from the North and South Shores was great for being able to see the whole island throughout our trip.
