Our stay at Sue’s place was wonderful. Everything was just as expected and we couldn’t be happier. The condo had everything we needed for a Maui vacation. The location is perfect with great beaches and lots of turtles close by. The ocean front lanai made for beautiful mornings and spectacular sunsets. The perfect way to celebrate a special birthday!

Our stay at this property was amazing! The kitchen had everything you would need. The place was clean. It was quiet and peaceful with the most spectacular sunsets we’ve ever seen. We spent a week here and already talk about going back. It is paradise!

This was the 4th time I've stayed at the Mahana. The views can't be beat, all ocean front. This particular unit was not my favorite, the remodel is strange, bathroom glass shower wall allows water to spray bathroom floor, furniture is too large for space. Murphy bed is unnecessary and impractical for a studio space. I did appreciate the beach chairs, towels and umbrellas provided!

It was an exceptionally clean, well appointed unit. The unit was right on the beach and within walking distance to restaurants. The host's instructions were clear. I'll be back!!

Just 4 floors up. You get to hear the waves all night and the view is amazing. You can see whales blowing out in the distance. A turtle or sea lion as well.

This was the best vacation we have ever had! Staying at Sue's beachfront condo was one of the highlights of our trip. Falling asleep amd waking up to the sound of waves was so soothing. The views were stunning. We had breakfast on the lanai every day before we went on our adventures. We ate at the restaurant Duke's several times just for the ease of walking next door and the food was excellent. We loved being right on the ocean and walking back to have drinks on our lanai. It was spectacular. It was a great place to retreat to after all our adventures. Sue thought of everything and when we needed more supplies she got us some that afternoon. The only thing is they are still doing construction on the entire complex. We could hear work a few times that we slept in and had breakfast around 10 but it wasmt horrible. The waves drowned out the noise outside but definitely more noise if you stayed in unit. And the hot tub was down a few days but they got it running again. The location and views were top notch and we will definitely be staying here again. Thank you Sue for all the extra touches you made to the place and for such a fabulous stay. We can't wait for our next trip! Mahalo!

This studio was perfect for us. It was a good location to have home base. We relaxed in the morning made breakfast at our pace and then headed out for the day. Talked to the conceigre(sp) a few times, she was very knowledgeable. We were to busy to use any of the amenities, but they looked clean and other seem to enjoy them. Would stay here again

We love the location. The lanai overlooks the ocean and in fact we slept with the door open to listen to the ocean sounds. Within a short walk of grocery store, restaurants, bars, food trucks and coffee shops. Our only complaint was the lack of bathroom towels. Only had 1 washcloth and 1 hand towel. Also, there is no pickle ball equipment available as stated in the details. Front desk stated “due to COVID”. Have already talked about reserving it again!

My husband and I stayed here for a week in August 2022. The property was exactly as pictured and described and the details given by the owner were spot on. Easy to park, access, and enjoy! We had no problems so never needed to contact the owner but she gives lots of contact info. in case contact is needed. Planning on staying again in the future as the location was great, pool and hot tub were nice, beach boardwalk was romantic, and easy access to food!

First I’ll say that I love this unit and would stay here again. Great location with easy access to The boardwalk and Kaanapali beach. You can walk to the supermarket and a couple good restaurants across the street. Food trucks nearby are so-so. The unit is a little tight with the oversized desk but there’s everything you could want included. Snorkel sets, beach towels and chairs, binoculars, card games and a lot of kitchen items for cooking. Oil, spices, syrup, etc. The bed and sofa are very comfortable. Laundry is in the closet and we used it several times. So handy to have. One weird thing was when the wind blew hard (which it did the whole time we were there) the sliding glass door makes a moaning sound like a haunted house. But if you crack it open a bit, it stops. We used the fan most nights and it was perfect. Love waking up to a view of the water. Had our coffee on the deck every morning. Parking is free and the pool is never too crowded. You can walk a short distance down the beach and have excellent snorkeling. There’s some construction going on but only in the day and the crew is very friendly and respectful.

Our first time to Hawaii and we loved it. The Mahana complex is efficiently run, with friendly and helpful staff. It is situated very close to the ocean and has everything we needed for our stay. The location to the boardwalk was a nice bonus. Also we appreciated the quiet. The condo (412) was exactly as advertised with no surprises. It is small, but worked well for the two of us (12 nights). It has everything you need, including chairs, umbrellas and such for the beach. The condo is nice but the view on the balcony is exceptional. We would definitely stay at the Mahana again, but for a longer stay would probably look for a unit with a little more space.

Sue is absolutely amazing! Anything you could possibly need to make your stay perfect, she provided. I'm talking everything from tons of towels, full kitchen, to snorkeling gear! The studio was VERY clean, and had the most beautiful view of the ocean from the lanai! Sue was amazing with helping us and staying in contact the entire time, and we plan to come back and stay there again, as soon as we can! Thank you Sue for being so wonderful, and making us feel so much it home, that it was very hard to leave! Mahalo!

My husband and I stayed here for the first part of our first trip to Maui and this condo gave us a wonderful first impression! We walked in and could immediately hear the waves, our first morning we were treated to a beautiful sunrise and whales right off the lanai! We spent hours drinking coffee and enjoying the view. Sunsets were beautiful as well! The kitchen is well stocked and efficient. The location was so convenient to everything we did— whale watching and snorkel trips from Lahaina, walks along the beach, food trucks walking distance from the condo! We would definitely book here again! I wish we could have stayed longer!

If you're looking for ocean front, you're not going to get any closer than this, period.
GREAT property -- here are some highlights:
- The lanai. Come in the winter and whale watch right from your balcony
- The hotel/resort: ocean-front pool/hot tub area that were never busy as other reviews had mentioned. The grounds are quiet. FYI, most guests are older and you won't see young children running around (a big plus for us on our honeymoon)
- The amenities: Sue gave us a beautiful welcome basket with goodies, which was such a nice touch. The condo had EVERYTHING we'd want or need to enjoy the area
- The area: Kaanapali is really quite nice (and we felt it was a lot nicer than Kihei) -- we didn't have a rental car and had NO problems getting around. The public bus transportation is super safe, convenient and CHEAP (4$ per day)
- WiFi is great, big TV has smart capabilities where you can enter in your own streaming services to use
During our stay there was some unexpected and noisy construction on a couple weekdays - Sue was gracious about letting us know and apologetic, and it was completely out of her hands. It didn't affect our stay, but might be a good idea to confirm this is complete during yours.
Do not have ANY reservations about staying here -- the place is EVEN MORE beautiful than the pictures. Mahalo Sue and Phil!

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights during our honeymoon to break up our time at resorts. Sue was fantastic to work with - quick to respond and proactive with communication. Check in was easy and so convenient to have a parking lot to use. The location is pretty good as it’s right in the beach - great views of the ocean and you can hear the waves at night. It’s about a 10 min drive to the main area of Lahaina and 10 min drive to Kapalua which was good for us as we spent time in both areas, but we didn’t end up going anywhere within walking distance. The place is small but worked perfectly for us. There are a bunch of supplies too, such as beach chairs and beach towels which was really helpful! Overall great West Maui option!

This property is simply amazing. The view is perfect of the ocean to be able to whale watch from the lanai. The pool/hot tub area was never busy, unlike most other properties and hotels. It was so relaxing and a great way to get away from reality for a few days! It was the perfect size for the two of us, and we thought it was very homey and exceeded our expectations!

Sue’s condo far exceeded my expectations! The building was undergoing some maintenance at the time, but that didn’t stop us from enjoying the incredible views/ property.
The condo was well stocked with everything you could need to have the perfect beach vacation (beach chairs, towels, snorkel gear, boogie boards, coolers and more)!
I am already counting down the days until I am able to return and I hope I am able to stay here again!!

The studio had everything that we needed and has the perfect views of sunsets. The property is right on the north end of the boardwalk and and very close to a grocery store, food trucks, and other strip mall amenities. Short drives (or doable walks) to a bunch of great restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Been going for 10 plus years and this property is so perfect for views and ocean sounds. Studios are tight but for two people that enjoy the perfect location this is tough to beat.
