We stayed here as a family of 6 and had an enjoyable time. Location is great! We loved the nourish stand at the end of the street and enjoyed the walk to the beach. Princeville is such a beautiful area we love this side of the island. This house has everything we needed and was very well stocked. Our biggest problem with the home was we booked it because we needed 3 bedrooms as a family of 6. The 2 bedrooms with AC were great and we slept so nice and cool. Unfortunately the bedroom without ac was miserable for my kids and so they weren’t able to sleep in it. We booked it for the 3 bedrooms but we weren’t even able to use one of them bc it was just so hot and muggy. We had to make 2 bedrooms work which wasn’t ideal but we made the best of it. Other than that the property was good!

The property is a 3 bedroom condo, part of a duplex in a larger group of condos. It is a short drive from beaches, a grocery store, and the quaint town of Hanalei. The north shore of Kauai is very beautiful and quiet, and it was an enjoyable place to stay. Everything was great; our only complaint was that there is only one full bath, which makes sharing the shower inconvenient when two teenagers are staying with you.

Our family of 4 loved staying at Ema's super clean and cozy cottage. It was nice to be out of the hustle-bustle of Princeville while close to shopping and all points-of-interest on the north shore. We were grateful to find beach towels, beach bags, chairs, coolers, boogie boards and other beach items available for use. Water pressure was great in the shower. The kitchen was well stocked, and the cottage was squeaky clean! A recent storm had knocked out the internet, but a quick call to the wonderful manager, Chris, had us up and running right away! Stay here and feel like a guest in a friend's home. Good vibes all around!

They provided everything we needed for our trip… beach chairs, boogie boards, towels, ice chewers, bags, even snorkeling gear and beach toys! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. My family loved our stay at Ema’s place in Princeville. Check in process was easy, and she was very easy to connect with. The home was close to many things and a short drive from places in Princeville along with Hanalei. We used the kitchen a lot and it had everything we needed to make our meals! Ema’s place was perfect for our family. I also loved that she provided games, toys for kids, and beach gear! I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time enjoying the North Shore with this condo as home base. The place is packed with everything you will need for your stay, especially if you have children with you. Games, toys, boogie boards, beach chairs, snorkeling gear, etc. the kitchen has everything you would want. Unfortunately, our stay aligned with what is likely one of the warmest and sunniest weeks of the year and the electrical infrastructure only allows you to run two of the 3 bedroom AC units at a time. So one of the bedrooms remained quite warm until a few hours after sunset. For most people this should be no problem. We just had some tired kids who were in bed early especially with the time change. No complaints otherwise and we would stay here again.

This property was great for our family of 5. It was in a great location on the North side of the Island. All of the boogie boards, beach towels, and umbrellas was a plus. There were portable AC units in each of the upstairs bedrooms which were handy when it got super hot. The property was quiet and neighbors respectful. With a family of 5 (including a teen) it would have been nice to have two showers. Ema was a great host and we would stay again!

Great location for all your adventures on the north shore. I recommend checking out the trail to the beach just down the road by Nourish. It sounds like some people might have gotten confused by the trail signs thinking it might be a privates trail. Read the FULL signs. We didn’t have any problems. Met some nice locals on the trail. Drive SLOW on the road and be respectful. Enjoy!

The home was located in a wonderful location just outside Hanalei and super close to everything in Princeville. The house was as described with a good sized kitchen for cooking and a great supply of beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards. It was a bit tight for six friends but we made it work and had a great time. The property manager was extremely responsive and helpful.

Me and my 4 children had an absolute wonderful experience staying here. We are all homebodies and really appreciate the feeling of being home after a long day of exploring. This place provided just that. It was very clean and bright. The ambiance provided an uplifting and warm feeling. The roosters were very welcoming too!
The whole check in process was very easy to understand and follow. When we first arrived we were provided with gifts in the kitchen that the kids and I enjoyed immensely. That was such a nice surprise! The location of the place is only about 5 minutes from the Hanalei Beach as well as the town Hanalei. There is also a nearby grocery store which is very convenient too. Everything is provided for a day at the beach. We used it all especially 2 of the boggie boards. If I ever come back I hope to stay here again.

About a 10 min drive to Hanalei bay and another shopping center/area for food so we felt it was pretty central. Easy check. The house had plenty of utensils, cups, plates, and cookware. Not stocked with any additional items like seasoning or oil but that’s okay they did leave some complimentary snacks and beverages which was nice. Only thing that stood out was that the house could use a deep clean some less common areas were pretty dusty and the washing machine had some build up/gunk in it. Overall the stay was good.

We spent 5 nights in this adorable condo. Everything you need for the beach is provided. Towels, umbrellas, boogie boards, chairs, sand toys…etc
The kitchen has every gadget you need to cook. All of the beds were so comfy. Great pillow options.
The condo is in a very quiet quaint location. My 12 year old found some toys that she’d play with after a long day at the beach. They have a fun selection of card and board games for the family. Our trip couldn’t have been better. We were welcomed with a gift basket of treats 🌺 Mahalo

My husband an adult children spent the week here. The condo is spacious, clean, and well-equipped with beach accessories (towels, chairs, boogie boards), as well as a full-stocked kitchen. The location was wonderful, tucked away from the masses, yet close to grocery stores and Hanalei town.
The walk to the beach though the “jungle” was beautiful everyday, and provided and nice walk to either snorkeling or surf -depending which beach you went to.
The condo is beautifully decorated, and the beds/linens were all comfortable.
The hostesses, Ema, is a great host, who answered all questions and was responsive to all correspondence. Her little added “welcome” package was a great way to start our vacation.
Unanimously, my family agreed that we would most definitely come back and stay here again. 🌺

Online pictures are misleading, the actual property is the complete opposite of the described new and updated townhouse,
The property smelled of smoke and/or mold.
It was a really hot day and one AC unit was broken, another AC unit was taped together with duct tape, and the last AC unit worked.
The property owner would not work with us to address our concerns regarding her rental property.
We have been to that part of Kauai many times and know what is acceptable regarding rental properties.
We rented the townhouse for 4 nights, but left after a few hours. We were willing to lose our sizable rental payment rather than stay in the townhouse.

This is the perfect spot to launch a tour of the North and West part of the Island, but not unreasonable to see and explore the South and West if you book enough time on the Island. I look forward to booking this quiet condo again. Everything worked, it was clean, welcoming, functional, great location, and good communication with host if needed. Sweet art work and amnesties making one feel at home. So nice to have a washer and dryer handy and check out was a breeze. No AC doesn’t bother me and if you want to live like a local, you just create the cross breeze using windows and there are fans in every room. Aloha spirit all the way.

Loved our first stay on the island of Kauai! We enjoyed this property and would stay again.
Pros: we liked the location, smaller community feel, 3 bedrooms, air conditioners!, and all the comforts of home
Cons: photos and description are misleading regarding views/outdoor space and the walk to the beach. The beach is at least a mile walk that goes through private property. We went most of the way- past no trespassing and danger warning signs- and eventually turned around feeling uncomfortable. Just plan to rent a car and drive to one of the many awesome beaches.
We also had construction at the complex daily, including one day that they were working on the deck of this property - glad to see the upkeep! But should have been made aware.
We look forward to our next opportunity to visit the island!

Rental location is pretty good, could have used some tips on "walking to beach" from owner, but she also gifted us some wine & chocolate macadamias, so that was nice.
The 2nd floor gets very warm on warmer days. Master & queen bedrooms have the biggest, loudest, most cumbersome, unattractive & most intrusive airconditioner-dehumidifier machines we've ever seen. The queen bedroom particularly was unbelievably cramped with the huge hose attached to the window & plugged on a different wall-- no way around it without tripping or accidentally pulling hose from machine. The noise that thing makes for the sake of cool air is maddening! Maybe it's time to get the windows replaced & get small window air conditioners for each room up there. Those machines have to go!
Rental decor could use an update & better organization area for all the beach & kids stuff. The back porch is essentially unusable due to space & looking at parking lot. We had 4 adults in our group & the double bed room was empty, but if there were more of us there would not have been enough room downstairs to be together.
Overall, it was a good enough place to stay but not great to hang out to talk & relax in.

Everything was absolutely wonderful. The house had anything you can imagine for everywhere. The kitchen was fully stocked, bedrooms and bathrooms had more than enough linens, and toys for our toddler even! Emma was so quick to respond and accommodating with us checking out a little later with a delay in our flight. I would absolutely stay again next time we come to Kauai.

The house itself is very conveniently located and is only a few minutes from a Foodland for your grocery needs, ~10min to a bunch of restaurants. Not to mention a BEAUTIFUL lookout spot on the way.
The house is very cozy and has everything you need to have an amazing time on Kauai. They had boogie boards, beach towels, towels, toys for kids, board games, a washer and dryer. The house was very clean and spacious.
I truly enjoyed staying here and will 100% come back when I get the chance.

The Rainbow House was perfect for our getaway in Hanalei. It was super easy getting in, and when we did we found a really nice collection of snacks and drinks waiting for us, which was such a nice touch. The home is so convenient to the grocery store, and a short drive into the town of Hanalei and the amazing beach there. We're looking forward to going back!

I had very high hopes for this property, since it had so many rave reviews and Ema has been so easy to communicate with prior to (and during) our stay. Unfortunately, we found a few key issues that prevented this from being a 5-star stay.
Pros:
- Very well stocked condo. It had everything we needed and more, from a first aid kit and aloe to toiletries, as well as everything we needed for fun on the beach. There were even a few treats waiting for us when we arrived, which was a nice surprise.
- Easy parking right outside the unit, which was convenient for carrying bags and beach gear in and out of the house.
- The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious with lots of storage space.
- Well designed living room with lots of comfortable space to relax
- We didn’t use the kitchen for cooking, but if we did, it would have had everything we needed to cook pretty much anything! We greatly appreciated the full ice cube trays waiting for us!
- The location is wonderfully convenient for access to Hanalei and Princeville.
Cons:
- When we first arrived, I expected the unit to be hot and stuffy based on previous reviews, which also said that once the windows are open and the space is aired out, it cools down. Maybe it’s just the fact that I’m a northerner who had just traveled 12 hours and was hot and sweaty, but the house was SWELTERING when we got there and it took hours to cool down to a comfortable temperature. I was sticking to the sheets for most of the night. One of the bedrooms doesn’t have an air conditioner and even with all the fans going and the windows open, it was still very hot in there. The house was hot almost the whole time we were there, unless we had fans and AC running at full blast.
- The bathrooms, while spacious and well stocked, were not great. The water pressure in the shower was very weak. There was also a lot of mildew along the shower door tracks, which was kind of gross. Speaking of mildew, the washing machine gasket was covered in it, due to previous renters not leaving the washing machine door open.
- We had some issues with lights and a foul smell (which I later traced to cat urine on the front porch, not inside the house). Ema was very quick to respond to the issues, but the people she relied on for fixing things were unable to resolve every issue we had. This was not Ema’s fault, and thankfully the issues were only minor inconveniences.
Overall a good place to stay but not 5 stars.

We had an incredible stay. The home fit our family perfectly, the location was awesome, and Ema was super kind and knowledgeable about the area. The townhome was clean and lovely decorated with all the finishing touches. We quickly fell and love with Hanalei and all the fun activities there was to offer. The Rainbow House is exceptional. Emma furnished house with lovely Hawaiian artwork. The house was so clean & bright, no bugs, cool breezes from windows, exceptional place to stay. Can't walk to beach because road is dangerous at curves. We drove to Anini Beach, close, with safe water, trees for shade, & beautiful views. Will absolutely stay at 8B, Rainbow House, again. We very much enjoyed our stay here, the location is amazing! We loved being just outside of Princeville and everything this location had to offer. House was well stocked with beach gear, towels, etc. There are even some games and small toys my kids loved playing with while at the house (Hawaiian Go Fish was a big hit)! Host was easy to communicate with and we enjoyed the welcome goodies left for us . The only thing I would offer as suggestions is the home didn’t feel as spacious as it could- extra side tables, small pieces of furniture or decor that didn’t seem needed. It took us a couple of nights to figure out the best way to cool down the house, our first night was very stuffy and we unfortunately used the oven that night as well. The AC units in the two bedrooms worked really well and the main level cools off nicely, the bedroom without the AC unit was trickier. Overall a great stay, thank you so much!

We had an absolutely splendid stay here! The location was ideal for us; situated in Princeville with a gorgeous view of the mountains but away from the large resorts, on a quiet, non-commercial road that led to a lovely "secret" trail down to the Hanalei River. The house was a charming and comfortable duplex. It was a pleasure to sit on the small lanai on the back side of the house and look out at the grounds planted with gorgeous tropical vegetation, listening to the roosters crowing. The interior was nicely laid out and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was beautiful and complete. The lack of central air conditioning was not an issue for us as the ceiling fans and screened windows created plenty of air circulation, but there were room air conditioners in two of the bedrooms. It was handy to have a washer and dryer in the unit. The single shower was not a problem for the four of us. We greatly appreciated having the beach items for our use: umbrellas, towels, chairs, and a cooler. Our host was extraordinarily gracious in resolving an issue upon our arrival, truly exemplifying the aloha spirit. We have stayed at many rental homes in Hawaii over the years, and this is the one that we loved the most, and to which we hope to return. Mahalo!

We loved staying at this house. It was a good size for 4 adults and 1 child. The check in process was quick and easy and everything was clean and in good condition when we arrived. Our host Ema left a few goodies for us to eat and drink, which was a nice surprise! In general the house was very family friendly and included a brand new pack and play for our child to sleep in, toys, and a baby gate for the stairs. These amenities really helped us enjoy our stay with a small child! The only downside of the house is that it has only one shower, but this wasn't too difficult to manage.
The beach that is walking distance from the house is about a mile away. It's a nice path with views of Hanalei bay. Where the path ends, the beach is mostly covered with trees unless you walk farther down the beach. The waves were a bit rough for snorkeling and our one year old, so we only went once. Our favorite beach in the area was Anini Beach. The water is very calm and shallow at Anini, which was great for our son. The house is stocked with beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling gear, a cooler, and beach toys for kids. We had everything we needed for the beach!
The location of the house is great. The town of Hanalei was a 5 minute drive and we went there nearly every day. Our favorite spots there were Tahiti Nui, Wishing Well Shaved Ice, Kalypso, and Hanalei Gourmet. The Foodland grocery store is also conveniently located right down the road.
We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this vacation home!

This home was a perfect place for our group of two couples. It was such a great location. Easy to get to all the North Shore spots and still easily get back to shower up and head down to Hanalei for dinner. The house had everything we needed. The air conditioners are a nice plus. We got in very late and LOVED that there was a small gift basket left to welcome us. Such a great treat. Internet was consistent and perfect for our needs. Host communication was wonderful - we had everything we needed. You'll love it. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

Ema was a wonderful host. Her place was clean and set up great for a family with teens. We loved having plenty of beach towels and the cooler for lunch and snacks. The thing I’d make sure people know is that there are two bathrooms but only one with a shower. I didn’t read the description well enough when I booked and was surprised by it. That’s no fault if the owner or listing, just my lack of attention to detail. It was a bit tricky with 4 teen girls but we worked it out and would choose to rent this home again.

This home may not tout the ocean views of some other properties (we canceled an ocean view to extend the length of our stay) but after spending nine days roaming around this side of the island, I can say the convenience of this home definitely made up for it. The rates are way more reasonable and this home is perfectly nestled in the middle of the all the places to go. Literally, right around the corner is a grocery store and little block of restaurants. Hint- the coffee shop in the grocery store is top notch! Go the other way, more restaurants, shopping, and beautiful hikes and beaches. Back at the house, there were beach towels and a cooler and all sorts of beach related accessories provided for us by the host, and we used them pretty much every day. Super appreciated the extra touch. The couches are so comfortable after wearing ourselves out on the beach all day, and the washer and dryer were life savers. If we wanted to change before dinner, the house was never more than ten minutes from where we were in either direction. I have a lot of back issues, and I slept like a baby on the bed in the main room upstairs. Lots of closet and storage space, the kitchen had everything we could have asked for (the few times we opted to cook, lol) and the window units made our rooms nice and cool at night. When you first walk in the house, it is warm, but open the windows and turn on the ceiling fans, and the temps drop immediately. For anyone that complains about the roosters on any review of any place on this island- they are all over the whole island!!! We loved it, and when you close the windows to sleep, they are not a problem at all. We walked to the little shopping center multiple times, and you can hear the waves from the road. All the amenities and the price made this such a great option, and allowed us to really enjoy our visit. The hosts are amazing and super accommodating. We didn't have our kids this time, but I would bring them back here without hesitation as the home is very family friendly, and also had games and toys on site. Thanks Ema, we had an AMAZING time here!!!

Our stay on the garden isle was a wonderful experience. Working with Ema was a pleasure and the rental was every bit a 5 star unit. I really can't say enough about the location --set in a quiet residential area (away from traffic and tourism), it was perfect for quick trips to Hanalei and Bay (less than 10 minutes), to the beach (a beautiful half mile walk from the end of the road which brings you to a gorgeous beach overlooking Hanalei Bay and Bali Hai) and conveniently located near Princeville's shopping center and Foodland grocery store (less than 5 minutes). The unit was fully equipped with everything you need to cook, sleep and hangout - though we were out exploring the island most of the time. The north shore of Kauai is one of the most verdant and picturesque places on earth with a really neat vibe --this was our 3rd time to the island (this time with our 3 grown children) and working with Ema and staying in her unit helped make this our best trip yet. PS, beware the jungle fowl and crowing at all hours - part of the endearing vibe of Kauai.

We had a wonderful time in Kauai! The house was perfect for our family of 6. Great location on the North Shore, within minutes to Hanalei and the beautiful beaches on the North Shore. The house is beautiful, and had everything we needed. Plenty of Beach gear, well appointed kitchen for when we cooked at home and a washer and drier. The beds were super comfortable, and we had nice breezes all night through the upstairs windows. We enjoyed watching the chickens and geckos on the back deck area. All on all, the perfect location for our week. We can't wait to come back!

My girlfriends and I absolutely loved staying in the Rainbow House this past week - the location is fantastic, house was super clean upon check-in and had all the necessities one would need when vacationing in Kauai. Washer and Dryer & Dishwasher in-unit was clutch. We loved sitting on the deck each morning while drinking coffee, which Ema gifted us along with some other goodies like wine & Hawaiian snacks. The walk to the secret beach was great, especially during sunset. This house is perfectly placed and has views surrounding it. Even with the construction taking place on the highway near the house due to the recent landslide (only 1 lane open), getting around town was super easy. and the max time we had to wait to pass was 8-10 minutes! Ema was super receptive before and during the trip. One of the best hosts I've ever booked through. This home is a GEM - we will be back!!

I first want to say that the hosts are incredibly responsive and kind. We didn't really have any needs arise during our stay, and that is a testament to how well-prepared this property is for guests. Everything was clean and well-organized when we arrived. There were plenty of thoughtful amenities and a very well-done guide for the home and the island. We especially enjoyed the glossary of local terms! The property itself is lovely and if you are interested in the North Shore in particular (and why wouldn't you be) it is convenient to everything, including the ability to get into Hanalei early before road closures take effect.
We were so active and busy during our vacation that we were honestly rarely there, but if you are looking for a spot where you can comfortably wind down and maybe cook a meal, this would be a great spot. We never got around to it because we couldn't stop eating at all of the island's incredible restaurants! Pro tip - if you're looking for a quick bite nearby when other restaurants are filled or closed, the gas station in Princeville has a restaurant in the back that serves local beef burgers and a lot of local favorites - highly recommend the chili pepper chicken plate lunch!

We are so glad that we found this place in Princeville. Location is convenient - close to the secret beach and Queen's Bath. If you plan well, both within 2-3 mins of driving and easy to park. Both are also within a walking distance. It's quiet and super clean. Stores including a large grocery store, ice cream house and golf courses are nearby. The cozy house is well designed and stocked with all necessities in the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. We truly enjoyed our 8 days of stay there.

The place is in a tranquil neighborhood in walking distance to food carts, a shopping center, a rustic beach, and views of Hanalei Bay. It's a short drive to Hanalei Bay, road closures aside. The inside was spotless and well stocked with beach supplies, which was very clutch. There were even toys for our little one!

You will feel spoiled and pampered in this condo. I can't stand it when I rent a home, and it's dirty. You don't have to worry about that with this gem. It's clean and has everything you need for a vacation of adventure.
I fell in love with hiking to the beach. It was almost 3.2 miles there and back. Such a good workout and scenic.
Make sure you plan your trip around the road closures that take you to Hanalei. Otherwise, you could get stuck.
We had a week of hiking, beach time, surf lessons, helicopter rides, and tours. I HIGHLY recommend paying for a helicopter tour of the island.
The beds were super comfy, and I was ecstatic to have air conditioning in the bedrooms. Also, it's wonderful for drowning out the roosters! You might want to bring a pair of earplugs for sleeping. Otherwise, you will be on rooster time.
Ema was kind and sweet! I would recommend this place.

Our family of 6 felt right at home on Hanalei Plantation Road. Loved the gorgeous mountain views in this quiet little complex. The home is clean and well organized, with all you need for your stay. Linens are good quality, kitchen well-stocked. Loved the walk to the quiet beach and gorgeous views from Nourish Halanlei at the end of the road. Getting in and out of Hanalei was no problem with the road schedule. This house is a great home base for all of your Kauai adventures!

From the moment we walked into Ema's house to the moment we locked the door behind us on our way out, we felt like we were at home. As stated, it had been upgraded with new kitchen, baths, paint and furnishings. All beach supplies were there, too.
For eight wonderful nights, this three-bedroom duplex in a very quiet and serene neighborhood away from the relative bustle of Princeville proper allowed us to relax and enjoy the natural beautify of Kauai. There's more than enough of that to satisfy any traveller. With five people we could have felt crowded. The three decent sized bedrooms and their views of the lush surroundings suited us well.
The kitchen is well-stocked as advertised. There was even fresh ground coffee from a previous guest. We left a few items for the next one. One small suggestion - a good steel chef's knife would fully round out the knife draw.
As for location, Kauai isn't a large island. We prefer the lush North Shore, yet there's few affordable options these days. No longer able to afford Hanalei proper, Ema's house combines proximity to town at a fair price. There's a lovely half-mile walk along a residential road that leads to a half-mile trail down to the beach, a magical experience into itself. Once there, head right through the dense overhanging trees to the beach that's shared with the luxurious St. Regis Hotel. And its famed sunset views of "Bali Hai" ridge.
The location was also central to most of Kauai's awesome North Shore beaches - Lumahi, Tunnels, Rock Quarry (where our kids did much of their surfing), Haena and Ke-e. For that, you'll need to get a pass weeks in advance as there's limited, controlled parking and access to the Napali Coast trail. We only learned about that once on island.
We went hiking in Waimea Canyon and to a hidden waterfall inland from Kapaa. Not for the timid or those with weak knees!
The house is a short walk to Foodland supermarket (great selection of poke) and other shops, restaurants and amenities of Princeville and is just down the street from the local police and fire station for additional security. Not that we ever felt insecure...
Although we never met Ema, she was very responsive to whatever we needed. She has a small crew of property managers/cleaners who came whenever we requested something that needed attention. No hassles at all. Certainly she's among the best hosts we've ever dealt with on VRBO or Airbnb.

Ema was wonderful to work with and provided tons of extras in the house. She was so kind to allow us to have a late check out so we could fully enjoy our last day. The place is perfect. Lovely updated decor with comfortable furniture. Really well equipped, incredibly clean and airy, everything you could possibly need for the beach, and the location is quiet...every morning I awoke to the sound of birds singing and sometimes rain drops... so relaxing. The house has no ocean view but instead, we could enjoy the beautiful forest and mountains view. We loved it. Very convenient to the shopping center for groceries and restaurants.
Not only was the home wonderful, Ema was wonderful to work with. She introduced many places to go and eat, and they were all awesome.
We would definitely stay here again. Loved our time there. Thank you so much Ema for sharing such a lovely home.

From the moment we opened the door to the condo, to our final departure, this was the most comfortable holiday lodging experience we have had. Ema has provided a very comfortable, clean and relaxing environment for vacationing. The extras were very welcome, such as the beach chairs and towels, the sun umbrella, boogie boards and delicious snacks.
The beds were so comfortable and the supply of kitchen amenities were great. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed for the creation of fun Hawaiian influenced meals.
The location was perfect for us. It was situated in a quiet neighbourhood with everything within a short distance. If we needed anything or had any questions, Ema responded very quickly. Big thanks to Ema for making us feel cared for. She is super Superhost.

I highly recommend Ema's house for your next trip to the North Side of Kauai. I originally booked the house because we wanted to be able to walk to the beach...it's just a 1 mile walk to the St Regis beach club via a beautiful, covered, beach access walkway. However, we ended up just driving the 10 mins to Hanalei Beach every day. The location is great - you are just 1 minute from a shopping center with a grocery store and place to get coffee, but more importantly, you are a quick drive to the town/beach at Hanalei, Queens Bath, Anini Beach & other Princeville hot spots. The house is super cute, clean and well-decorated. Picture white walls, light brown leather couches, gold accents, and fuzzy pillows. Ema provided us with boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach umbrellas, towels, extra hand towels, and even left sunscreen, bugspray, a first aid kit, and laundry detergent. The house is part of a town home style / condo community, so there's plenty of dedicated parking, and it has a private lanai and access to a hose to wash off at the end of the day. Ema was extremely communicative, accommodated a change in our travel plans last minute, and even granted us a late check out time. Getting in and out of the house with a keycode / key was also a breeze. I would definitely stay here again in the future!
