Our overall stay was great. Accurate photos, Apple AirPlay on TV (easy to watch sports & movies via iPad/phone without needing to sign into anything), great deck with amazing view. The condo is older but comfortable. The showers are really starting to show their age. Note, the upstairs/balcony bedroom does not have much privacy. It has closing shutters but the slats are aimed downwards to the living room, anyone downstairs is able to easily see the bed area.

We also really appreciated the beach accessories the condo provided. The condo itself is older and needs updating. The carpet was old and stained. The upstairs shower had quite a bit of mold in it, and underneath the patio on the lanai, there was a significant amount of mold, dirt and what appeared to be bugs.

This condo is in a large, well kept and beautiful complex with rolling lawns, huge old trees and flowers everywhere. Our unit had ocean views from our large deck and nice breezes through the big sliders. The complex was quiet and convenient to the beach and to town.
This condo was spacious and has 2 large bedrooms and a pull out couch bed and a bathroom on both floors. The kitchen is well equipped.
Kirstin and the management team were very responsive to our concerns and needs which we appreciated.
This unit requires access by stairs and there is a steep staircase to the upstairs bedroom and bath.
The carpet needs to be ripped out and replaced with tile or wood.
Nice experience in Maui and we felt very safe as 2 older women on our own.

Good unit for two couples. Great location and within walking distance of the beach, Kihei shops and eating establishments. The unit is second story and is very quiet for a larger condo complex. There is a designated parking spot that is very close to the unit. Could use a little extra TLC. Broken handles, older lumpy pillows, and dresser drawers that are very difficult to open, stains on the carpet, slow draining tub upstairs, and the very kind neighbor next door can hear the downstairs bathroom fan so please don’t leave it running. All quick fix items would really help the overall experience and quality of one’s stay.

This condo is just back from the beach far enough to be peaceful, but still just a few blocks walk and still a beautiful ocean view. Lots of useful items have been provided by past guests like beach umbrellas, sunburn ointment, etc. Super convenient access to lots of good restaurants, shops, and beaches for swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling. The only reason we did not give 5 stars is that there are a few issues with cleaning and maintenance. Would absolutely stay here again!

This condo looks just as it is listed. A few things to note though: the upstairs bedroom (in the loft) only has adjustable wood shutters between the bedroom and living room, causing no audible privacy. Someone can’t watch TV in the living room without the upstairs users being able to hear the TV perfectly and vice versa. This created some odd situations for the 2 people who stayed in the downstairs bedroom (which has no TV) when we wanted to stay up later than the upstairs bedroom users and watch TV. Also there is no door on the upstairs bedroom so literally zero privacy. This unit would be great if you wanted to put the kids in the downstairs bedroom (has a door) and the parents used the upstairs one but for 4 adults it was odd. The furniture was all very convenient and comfortable and you can’t beat the location. There is a beach right at the entry to the neighborhood and there’s a handful more amazing beaches within a 5-10 min drive. Also endless food options down the street - easy drive but also walkable if you don’t mind walking up a steep hill to get back home. We checked out the pool which was cute but didn’t use it since the beach was so nice and convenient. There are little ants (owner provides ant spray) and we had one tiny lizard but nothing unexpected for tropical climate. Would recommend to anyone ok with the lack of privacy mentioned above.

You're a short walk from the beach, and not too much farther from dining and shopping on S. Kihei Rd. in this nice condo. There are 2 lovely swimming pools in the complex too. Best for 4 people but there's a sofabed so you can house 6 if everybody's friendly. Highly recommended.

As is, light travels through the slates from the dining/living room.When we arrived, there were issues:-- Three dirty towels in our unit: folded, but dirty. I called and they were removed/replaced.-- Dusty placemats: I called and they were removed/replaced-- Extremely dull peeler in the kitchen: I called and it was removed/replaced-- The paper towel holder was broken: I called and it was replaced.-- At least three light bulbs were out and we had to buy replacements.-- The refrigerator works well but the door has a missing panel bar so nothing can be stored there.-- The carpets had not been thoroughly vacuumed: we found two hair pins and a small piece of a bracelet in the carpet under the dining table.-- Carpets need cleaning – there are stains.-- I didn’t see a broom or a sponge mop. Those would be a nice add. I did see a dust pan.VIP Management did a great job! Immediately addressed all the issues we found upon arrival.

Very clean and comfortable. Great location, nice swimming pools. Well equipped- home away from home! Less than 15 minute drive to beautiful Maluaka beach where we snorkeled and swam with sea turtles. The included beach equipment was very appreciated- we used beach chairs, toys and even a bodyboard. The only slight negative was the confusing communication prior to check-in, with emails about being registered and de-registered that didn't really make any sense. Spoke to them on the phone and they told me to ignore the emails- all you actually need is the door code and parking info. But that aside, this is a lovely place to stay when in Maui. Would definitely recommend.

The condo is very cute, the grounds/pools are awesome, and the location is perfect. Everything is super close. The Kihei boat ramp is located directly across the street from the condo, which made it super easy for our excursion to Molokini at 6:30am
This is a second unit condo, and there are a lot of stairs. The beds were super comfortable. While we were there the iron died and property management was quick to deliver a new one for him.
The only negative about the property was that it was not very clean and a few things were in disrepair. After speaking with property management, it will be taken care for the next rental.

I grew up in Makawao, and unfortunately ws not able to stay with at my family’s hale. But this place we stayed was absolutely perfect. Great amenities, lots of beach gear for us to use. It was perfect for all of us and everyone enjoyed their time. The pools were choice too. Looking forward to booking again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Maui Kamaole condo. The condo had everything we needed to make our stay fun, enjoyable and comfortable- from bathroom necessities, kitchenware and appliances (they had a rice cooker!) and some cooking ingredients, to beach gear like chairs, coolers and umbrellas. We were also located a short walk from the heated pool and a short drive to beaches. We also had a dedicated parking spot right in front of the unit. I would recommend the space to family and friends for future stays, and I would stay there again as well.
However there were a few minor things that I think could be addressed for the property to go from great to excellent, and I did inform the property management group after our stay. They thanked me for my input.
1) The faucet in the kitchen- needs some tightening and adjustment. It took a while to figure out how to get cold water out. We had to move faucet handle awkwardly away from the sink towards the living room to get cold water.
2) One of the coolers (red and white) does not stay shut. We were able to use it, but we needed to be sure to hold it a certain way, so contents would not spill out while in use.
3) One of the guests with me used the pullout sofa, however there was no extra blanket/comforter for this person. We used two sheets instead, and that seemed to work well, but it would have been a nice option to have. We did find the extra pillows in the master closet though.
4) Some of the items in the cupboards were not fully washed/cleaned. There were dried on foods on plates, bowls, and utensils. I normally wash kitchen items in rental properties prior to my use anyways, so I did not have issues with washing items, but future guests might. I was able to use the sponge and soap they provided to clean them up, so that was fixed fast.
I understand that some of my points above are super nitpicking, so I do want to reiterate that we fully enjoyed our stay and would consider staying there again.

Nice and clean, fully stocked with everything you need, even baking utencils. There is a closet full of sand toys and beach gear. The condo complex is pretty, surrounded by beautiful greenery. All ACs worked well, the furniture in the balconies seemed brand new. The pack and play was also very clean and seemed pretty new. Short walk from a few beaches, though the best beaches were at least a 25 minute walk - you can drive too, but parking can be a challenge. Also, kids under 6 are not allowed in the pools at the complex, so we were a little disappointed our toddler couldn't play in the pool, but it wasn't a big deal since the beach is just 7 minutes away.

First off, we arrived and were able to check in a tad early since we arrived a few hours before check in. The place was clean, organized and perfect for our fam of 5. The kids enjoyed the pool which was super close. The condo had swim/beach stuff and a beach bag and chairs, towels and everything you need. Besides the slow moving traffic from what we’re used to in the bay area, things like grocery, shopping and places to eat were close by. The end of our vacay was not so great as the big Maui fire started prior to us going to the airport. After staying at the airport with 3 kids for over 7 hours the property was allowing us to return back to the condo if we needed to. They were sooooo nice to accommodate. Thankfully we finally got a flight out by midnight. Thanks for a great stay with nice cooling AC. My only recommendation would be to have a mat in the tub so it’s not slippery for little ones. Other than that, amazing place!

Chic condo located in close proximity to beaches, shops and restaurants. Condo oozes island charm with tastefully done interiors. King size comfortable beds in both bedrooms and well stocked kitchen. Though on a busy street it is very private and tucked away. The property management returned phone calls within 10 mins and were professional and understanding. We would definitely choose to stay at this property again!

The condo felt a little small compared to other places we have stayed in, but the location is good. It is a busy part of Maui but the condo was far enough from busy road that it was quiet. The A/C units worked OK, not great, and the upstairs bedroom was a little hot.
Two lovely beaches within walking distance was a plus. Great snorkeling and wonderful sunsets. Excellent supply of beach gear. Adequate supply of kitchen supplies but no trash bags. That's not something you want to go shopping for on your vacation.

We enjoyed our condo and sad when we had to leave. Location was great, our boys loved the beach across the street. Great communication with property owners if you had any questions and they are very accommodating. Resort that condo is in is very pretty and lush and tropical.
Only negative- Condo was pretty clean but could have been cleaner. Floors did not feel clean, mold in showers and patios look like they are rarely ever cleaned. Now it sounds like we were not happy with this place but that is not true. We really enjoyed it after we did a little cleaning of our own. It is a nice condo and I think this place could be a solid five star with a little TLC.

We were pleasantly surprised to find such an amazing condo in pretty short notice! The pictures were spot on, unlike some places that work magic to make their rentals seem bigger. They had all the amenities we needed and then some!! Comfy beds, three airconditiong units that cooled the place off fast and just a short walk to a perfect beach and picnic area. This unit is well positioned in the Maui Kamaole complex. Stay here to see the sun set into the Pacific framed by palms and a massive banyan tree. Immaculate grounds, good pools and just far enough from central Kihei to ensure peace and quiet. Close to shopping and restaurants in both Kihei and Wailea. Although Kamaole III Beach is just across the street, take a few more steps the other way to the suburb Keawakapu Beach. Big kitchen, new washer and dryer, private loft with king bed and another king bed on the main level. We encountered a few minor maintenance issues, however these were dealt with promptly. Very comfortable for two couples plus a sofa bed for guests.

What an exceptional condo in Maui. It had everything we needed for a vacation of a lifetime. There was privacy for two adult couples, with private bathrooms for each. The kitchen was fully functional and the barbeque that was outside was only steps away from the unit. The beach was minutes away and the Condo had all of the beach equipment that you could think of: chairs, umbrella, cooler and much more. We have already told our family and friends that this is the place to go to. It was a vacation in Paradise.

Needs more lighting in living room! Too dark but again doesn't show that in pictures! Needs tub upgrades in both bathrooms! Also needs new frying pans! I feel for the price I paid it wasn't worth the money!

We loved how spacious the unit was! It is an upstairs unit however. Very close to one of the pools which is nice. There were lots of boogie boards, beach chairs, an umbrella, snorkel gear, etc. that was VERY useful! The beach is within walking distance but not as close as we thought. You have to walk a bit downhill and then cross Kihei Rd. It's not a huge deal, but with lots of beach gear and kids in tow it's much easier to drive to the beach. Shops and dining need to be driven to. The pool closest to the main office is warmer than the lagoon style pool. Only thing I'd request is a TV in the downstairs bedroom. Great place to stay! We cooked lots of meals at home :)

We had a great stay at the condo. Great location and well maintained. We loved using the pool and hot tub after a day at the beach. The kids would swim, while we bbq'ed on the bbq's. The condo does have a ocean view that we enjoyed in the morning while having breakfast. They have coolers, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, towels, etc. Everything you need (I didn't see any snorkel gear). The AC was great to use in the evening to keep the condo cool while you sleep. If you're thinking about booking this condo, its well worth it. I did a lot of searching and decided on this one and was very glad we did. The pool area is very strict, not a huge deal but just a heads up. We have 10,8, and 6 year old use the pool and other kids too. Aloha! We can't wait to get back!

THE LOCATION IS A PERFECT COMBINATION OF PRIVATE AND CLOSE TO EVERYTHING.
WE COULD WALK TO THE BEACH AND THERE WERE MANY OPTIONS FOR FOOD WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE.
THE VIEW FROM THE PRIVATE DECK IS SO PEACEFUL. WE LOVED HAVING OUR MORNING COFFEE HERE AND NIGHT CAP UNDER THE STARS.
WE ALSO LOVED ALL THE ITEMS THAT WERE LEFT FOR US TO USE IN THE KITCHEN ( CONDIMENTS ). AND THE BEACH ACCESORIES IN THE STORAGE SHED ON THE DECK.

What an incredible condo and "home away from home!" The photos from VRBO website were lovely, but the real-life experience was even better. This rental exceeded my expectations and was icing on the cake for my vacation in Maui! The bedrooms, bathrooms, living room and kitchen are all extremely spacious. Condo is clean as a whistle with lovely upgrades of granite counters, modern décor and lovely outdoor patios on both levels. Location of this rental is also ideal as it's located directly across the street from Kamaole Beach Park III (beautiful beach) and also closest location to Wailea, in south Kihei - which blends right into the border of Wailea.
Additionally, Emily Koenig (rental manager) was amazing to work with. She is truly TOP-NOTCH! Emily replied to all my questions and inquiries in a timely manner and reached out with detailed information include pre and post arrival into Maui. She touched base to make sure everything was in working order and also followed up to ensure all was well during my trip. She was always available and accessible when questions popped up along the way.
Five stars and two thumbs up for a very happy customer and excellent vacation rental!!

We had such a great time in this condo! It's very large and open with a lot of natural light, decorated very tastefully, clean and well cared for. The kitchen is well stocked and we really enjoyed that both bedrooms have their own bathroom and their own little patio areas. We were able to walk to our snorkeling trip, which departed from the boat harbor/ramp located right across the street and we walked to the Kamaole Beach Park 3 each day where there is excellent snorkeling, swimming, and bbq's on the grassy shaded part of the park. Emily was helpful throughout the rental process and was such a pleasure to work with. We will be back to this condo!

This was my 2nd trip to Maui. This location has a lot more space for a reasonable price than the place we stayed the first time which was in Lahaina. My favorite thing to do was to tan on the lanai while looking at the ocean and reading a book.
Pros: Across the street from a beach with ocean view from room. Lots of space within the condos. Feels like home away from home, comes with dishes, towels, paper towels, TP, and coolers. Well maintained grounds. A/C. Cons: Strictly enforced pool rules. No balls, Marco Polo and hours are from 9am-9pm. Must leave time to take out garbage, wash towels and sheets and start dishes before you leave. Unless you are used to walking a lot, a car is really helpful to get around from this location. However, there's a lot to do & eat within 3 min of driving. It was windy during our stay which limited what we could do.
I'd definitely stay here again. It would be a fun place to have groups or extended family stay together because everyone could have their own space yet there is room to get together for BBQ's or group dinners using the full kitchens.
