The place was super clean, location was great. Super easy to check in and out. A lot of extras were provided like beach chairs and towels, a boogie board, umbrella and coolers. We had a great stay!

Owner forgot to give us unit# so first night we had to sleep in our rental car. It was an honest mistake and we got money back for that night. The rest of the stay was great!

The unit was easy to find and check in was simple using a code to access the key. Free parking is a bonus. We met some really nice people (residents and vacationers) at the pool. Absolutely love this side of the island! The unit fit our needs as we didn’t plan on spending much time indoors. Basically a little studio apartment with a comfortable bed, a little table and chairs, and dorm frig. The patio had a table for sitting outside. We used a small cooler to carry some waters with us and there were some other beach items available but I didn’t pay attention as to what. I e quiet area.

It's an apartment complex and finding the exact apt wasn't the easiest. It also butts against another rental apt and either the walls are very thin or the people who were staying there with small children were very loud and kept slamming the door. The internet worked fine the first night but the next day/night, neither my computer nor my phone saw the internet as option to connect too. The tv still worked so it was very odd. The cell service was poor which made getting to my flight info and other travel arrangements challenging.
But the view across the street from the walking path around the golf course was spectacular. And there is a local grocery store within a couple minutes. I enjoyed the area and the fans seem to work just fine since there is no central AC in the studio.
Because this was rented through Expedia, there didn't seem to be a way to communicate with the owner without setting up an account in VRBO.

We loved everything about our stay in this studio. It was equipped with all the basic amenities, plus a little extra. We would gladly stay again on a future visit to Kauai. We did find it a little hard to locate the unit when we arrived at night. Not a problem, but it did take a few minutes. After that everything was smooth sailing.

This perfectly suited our purposes for the trip. The place is clean and functional. It has a fridge, sink, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. The bathroom is fine, the water pressure is a little lacking but ok. The bed is comfy and there is an air mattress if needed. I think sleeping 3 people would be very crowded but it was fine for 2. We used the pool and hot tub which was nice. Parking was easy. No complaints!

My husband and I stayed in this Sandpiper Village studio for 5 nights, and we had a mostly pleasant experience. Highlights: clean, newly remodeled interior, safe and convenient location, kitchen included a microwave, mini-fridge, sink, and dishware/utensils. Lowlights: no A/C (fans did little to cool the room on hot & humid days/nights), limited parking, smaller than we expected (suitable for 2 people, not 4 people, as listed), and mosquitoes got into the room through the broken patio screen. The owner was very responsive to our emails and helpful with her suggestions. We only had one night where we couldn’t find visitor parking, but we parked in a reserved spot and no one complained. The neighborhood is relatively quiet, although we could hear a lot of noise through the walls, windows, and ceilings while people were going in and out of the building. Earplugs came in handy! Overall, we would come back and stay here for future visits. We love the area and really enjoyed our time in Kauai!

Great quiet location. Plenty of extras in the unit, we were able to make breakfast on the griddle and eat on the patio every day. The available beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards were nice. The unit is updated, very clean and conveniently located.

This studio was perfect, my only regret was I didn’t stay longer. It had a coffee, drinks and even some chocolates from the island which were a nice touch. The host was amazing; I accidentally locked myself out at 9pm and she responded instantly. Would highly recommend!

We really liked this place. It is small but efficient. Good location near fun restaurants and easy to venture out throughout the island for day trips. As others have noted, it can be noisy. It also gets a bit stuffy. Overall, we’d stay again! Thank you!

We had a great stay at the Sandpiper 129B Studio Apartment. This apartment was in exceptional condition and was spotlessly clean!! The HomeAway website stated that it was recently refurbished and it was in fantastic condition. We had welcoming Macadamia Nut chocolates and the kitchen area was stocked with K-Cup coffee machine and tea/coffee supplies, which was a really nice touch. The area was really nice and it is a great location to take in the North Coast areas of Kauai.
The main room comprises the Queen/King sized bed with a good TV, 2 Leather Chairs and also the kitchen sink/fridge/microwave. This is a studio sized apartment, so this is as advertised. There were plenty of kitchen utensils/plates/cups available for meals and brand new dish-soap/scrubbing pads.
There was a separate sink around the corner adjacent to the bathroom and a nice stone/tiled shower. All Shampoo/conditioner/soap was included along with a hairdryer and towels/mats, so basically nothing extra was needed.
Outside the sliding door/window was the Lanai/deck area with table/chairs and we used this for breakfast or evening meals when at the apartment. It was refreshing to go outside to eat in the morning/evening air. On the deck were several beach items such as boogie boards for body surfing, coolers etc, that are good for a trip to the beach. There were sunshades that could be raised or lowered and this was nice for shade or for some privacy if you wanted.
If you wanted to eat out, there are restaurants close by and also towards Hanalei. We really liked the Foodland store which is just close enough to walk, but a quick drive is better. They had fresh sandwiches/meals and also Poke, which I highly recommend, along with many fresh fruit and other food items, chocolates/snacks/wine/beer. It was always busy with customers and a great place to stock up for the apartment or beach..
The only minor complaint that we had was that the neighbors had a young child who could be a little noisy at times and the soundproofing was not great, but as everyone has windows open, this may not have made much difference. Generally though the apartment complex was very quiet/peaceful and everyone was friendly and considerate of others.
All in all we had a great stay at the Sandpiper Apartments and we would not hesitate to go back. The location is fantastic for staying in the North Shore area of Kauai and it was a lovely vacation location.

A small yet accommodating studio that comes fully equipped which made our stay in Princeville easy and enjoyable!
Perfect for us as we were out and about all day, and comfortable to spend the evening in with a good sleep which energized us for another day on the beautiful island.

Clean and nicely remodeled studio on Kauai's north shore, closely situated to Princeville shops (grocery store, restaurants, ...) and less than a 15 minute drive to everything else the north shore has to offer. The studio is well equipped and comes with some extras like cooler bags, beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and boogie boards. Thank you Robin for a great stay!

Needed more fans. Room was humid no air conditioning otherwise it was in a good location and was stocked well. Everything you need was supplied.
