The condo is lovely and the location and view spectacular! The mornings and evenings were my favourite. I loved listening to the ocean right outside my window and I would spend hours on my lanai looking at the ocean view and the stars at night.
There were a few issues in the suite with plumbing and the patio door being hard to open and close. But once the owners were informed, the issues were resolved as soon as possible. Their repairman was the best! We was polite and went above and beyond to make sure everything worked perfectly!
I would definitely stay there again. 😊

We loved our stay at F109! The unit was exactly as described and the location was amazing. We loved sitting out on the deck to watch the sunset every night for cocktail hour. The putting greens, pools, shuffleboard area is a bonus as well. Would stay again!

This property was perfect for us. We enjoyed Sunset Dinners every night. Units location a short walk to pool, spa and barbeques (which were all used daily). Really enjoyed the ground floor just being able to walk out on the grass through the sliding door. Door was a little hard to open, But that is an easy maintenance item the did not effect our stay what so ever.
We are already planning a return visit. Papakea is a great resort and this unit made it better.

I’ll start by saying that we’ve stayed in various units at Papakea over the years and love the Papakea location and property. During this trip we had family in other units and did a short stay in this unit until we could join our family in a larger unit.
We enjoyed our stay in this unit. The unit itself is average in our experience of rental condos. The kitchen was well appointed, nice appliances, and good selection of dishes, etc… only thing missing was a pair of scissors (I couldn’t find them). I did not love the shower - mostly because the shower head didn’t put out a lot of water which made scrubbing off zinc based sunscreen and rinsing my thick hair really difficult. The bedroom is typical of our experience here - tight but a good bit of storage, plenty of hangers, and fairly comfortable bed. Cleanliness - unit was clean - could use a little extra attention in the corners & between the furniture and walls, and the seal at the bottom of the shower - flusher on the toilet needs to be replaced. Lanai furniture is standard outdoor furniture, not too fancy but comfortable and functional.
I would stay in this unit again just for the location, view, and convenience.

VIEW WAS SPECTACULAR. The unit was clean and well appointed, the bed was comfortable, the resort was very nice, and the location was awesome and convenient. The unit was on the first floor approximately 25 FEET from the ocean, and, did I mention, the VIEW WAS SPECTACULAR. All good.

Great getaway to Maui. Condo is right off the ocean. Great views and sunsets. Condo is clean and had everything we needed for our vacation. Blender got the most use. Condo grounds are well kept. Plenty of activities to do without having to leave. Snorkeling was decent also. Owners were very responsive during the booking process and gave us all the information we needed to enjoy our stay. Didn't need to communicate any more than that since we didn't have any issues. Great place. Highly recommend. Aloha!!!

My husband and I, along with our 1-year old baby, had wonderful time here! The unit and location absolutely perfect for our family - ground floor, ocean front with a sprawling lawn separating the unit from the water, which was great for our crawling baby and to enjoy the ocean without getting sandy. The property was clean and well kept, as were all the grounds of the Papakea Resort. We loved how quiet the location was, but also just a short walk to the Beach Walk trail, and some of the northern Kaanapali beaches and resorts. The only downside to the place is how noisy the AC was both inside and outside on the porch, but it did not detract from our time. We would definitely return again!

The trip wouldn’t have been as good if we stayed somewhere else. This location is perfect; from being walking distance to all the great shops and cafes to an amazing ocean view right on the porch. The place was clean and the resort was very accomodating. I highly recommend.

Read the reviews from the previous renters, as all is true. The master bed is horribly uncomfortable, the window air conditioner not capable of reaching bedroom, worn/dirty bedding , no closet space, and it seems like they leave previous renters condiments/food for the next renters which seems unsanitary. The shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom is also left overs from the previous renters. Now, we did complain to the owner and she promptly contacted the cleaning crew who came by and re-cleaned the unit and replaced the bedding.
But if you can look past those issues, the unit is situated with a beautiful view of the ocean and albeit long walk to a decent beach.

Amazing ocean front view from your living room and ground floor patio! The rental had everything we needed and great location. Quieter condo unit but close walk to the busier Kaanapali beach boardwalk. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to go back!

Overall, beautiful property and view. Love hearing the ocean!! The unit wasn't very clean when we checked in, the bed blanket was still wet and in the dryer, and we had to make up the sofa bed ourselves. Could really use an update on the furniture, or at least clean what is in there.

It was absolutely wonderful to be back in Maui!
Bev's place is absolutely lovely and the view from our lanai second to none. Every night we had a front row seat to gorgeous sunsets and as a bonus one night an amazing show from a small pod of whales who were the last to leave for northern waters. Thankyou Bev for making our stay relaxing and hassle free and for sharing your lovely island home. We will be back

Location was great with awesome views from the back lanai. There will be a lot of people walking along the sea wall so don’t expect a lot of privacy.
The unit has one AC window unit in the living room. Hard to keep the bedroom cool since it is all the way on the opposite end of the unit. AC unit is also blocked by the TV stand.
After accessing the unit for the first time we checked the bed and noticed that the sheets had hair on them. The top blanket or sheet was in the dryer still wet so the bed was not fully made. The linens also look like they need to be tossed due to stains on them which made it somewhat unappealing to sleep on. The floor in the bedroom also did not feel clean even though the unit owner requests no shoes after entry.
Bathroom shower needs more attention as there was black mold on the door sweep and other areas.
Provided beach equipment was nice but the beach chairs should be updated as they are old and uncomfortable. There was only one Tommy Bahama chair. Umbrellas were in good condition.
Kitchen was well stocked and we had the essentials that you should expect when renting out a property.
Expect a daily resort fee as well.

Right on the water. Beautiful view when people aren’t camped right outside your lanai. If you crave privacy not the place for you. Really wanted to love this property, but there were issues.
The whole unit needs a DEEP Clean!! The air conditioner is just a window unit in the living room. Bedroom and bathroom were very warm and stuffy. The bedroom is very small. During our stay my husband couldn’t sleep in the bedroom due to difficulty breathing. The carpet in the bedroom looks very old and dirty.
There are some nicer, newer appliances in the kitchen, but many dishes and utensils were dirty or needed to be replaced. Also we were disappointed to find only one adult size beach chair. There was a beach umbrella that we were happy to see and use. However, beach towels were old and needed to be replaced. The washer and dryer worked well and that’s always a plus on beach vacations.
The Papakea resort overall had well maintained grounds. There are BBQs around the pool area and they were very popular with the guests. All units are owned by different individuals, some units being nicer than others. I personally can’t recommend F109.

It is our first trip to the islands and it's been perfect. The room was as described and pictured and had everything necessary for a week-long stay. There are groceries and restaurants a block away. There's also a boardwalk that connects a string of resorts, most of which had available poolside dining.
December is humpbackwack whale season and the activity visible from the patio was fabulous. The supplied binoculars are a nice touch and made us the envy of many other guests. There is a seawall in front of the unit so you'll need to walk or drive to a beach area if you're looking to play in the surf.
I would definitely stay here again and would recommend the unit and the resort highly.

Not only a stunning location and view but the kitchen was well equipped to prepare meals, especially important during these times when restaurantes were not accepting reservations. The bed and linens were extremely comfortable. I wish this unit had updated split air like other units we have stayed in, but luckily the weather cooperated and was cooler. There were no checkout instructions at the property regarding cleaning and such.

We stayed here for our week long honeymoon. It was great, when we first got there we didn’t realize how close we were to the water. You are literally 20 feet away which was really nice. I wish we would have stayed a bit longer because honestly we wanted to experience all of Maui so we didn’t really spend much time in our room or on the premises. From what we seen everything was kept up very well on the property and in inside. The location for first time visitors was ideal. However if you’re more on the adventurous side and are going to be exploring most the time on your trip I personally would I book a cheaper route just because we literally maybe watched one sunset from our room. Overall it was great and we were very pleased with our stay.

This is my second time stay staying here and it did not disappoint. The view is beautiful and the condo well stocked with a boogie board, beach chairs and snorkel equipment, and beach umbrellas. The kitchen is fully equipped. The property manager is delightful and I have enjoyed working with her (we tried to stay 2020 as well). I absolutely recommend staying here, unless it’s during my future dates!

This condo had everything we needed. Very clean, and comfortable! Love the layout, it doesn't get any better than sitting on the lanai listening to the waves.

We stayed here for three nights to join friends celebrating a birthday and staying in a large unit on the property. It was a very pleasant place to be,
well equipped, with stunning views of the sea. We used the pool and hot tub, and although we were just a couple, we noted that the complex is very child-friendly. Bagpipe music trailing in the doorway one night was an added plus.
Small suggestion: I looked for and could not find a broom and dustpan, so I couldn't clean up some sand I had brought into the bathroom.
The rest of the condo is carpeted (odd for the beach, I thought) and there was a vacuum but I didn't want to bring it into the bathroom area.
