We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay. The condo is lovely, comfortable, and an extremely convenient location. Mary(the owner) is kind and thoughtful. It was a wonderful place for my family of 4 (parents 2 grown teenagers) to stay and enjoy our vacation in paradise. We plan to stay here again when we return to Maui, and would recommend this wonderful property to anyone!

Our stay in this lovely unit was perfect. It met all of our needs. It is fully equipped and well kept with all the necessities in the kitchen and bathrooms and the bedrooms are very comfortable. The layout of the larger area (living and dining area) maximises openness and comfort. The lanai is the gem. Enjoy mornings relaxing as you sip your coffee/tea and you can also enjoy the evening sunsets of the harbor and beyond.
We have stayed in many of the units at Kanai. This is a gem! We will be back.

We came to Maui (frm WA state) to celebrate my retirement and to do our part to contribute to the economic recovery. We appreciate very much how beautiful and convenient the condo was being centrally located on the island. Mary made it very easy with all the information she communicated prior to arriving. The communication was outstanding and everything was as advertised & better in person. This was a perfect stay for two couple traveling together. The property grounds were impeccable, pool cleaned every morning and the BBQs were clean. The kitchen was very well stocked and we had everything we needed. Thanks Mary for a great stay.

Many labels telling us dos and don'ts though out the condo, not a welcoming feeling. Master bath floor very sticky. Blonde hair ball in second bath. We are all brunettes. The washing machine had mold in the soap dispenser. We were expected to do laundry (sheets and towels) We were told not to leave more tan 3 loads for them to do. We paid a cleaning fee. What was that used for????

We loved the condo and the location. Close enough to most things but also far enough for it to be nice and quiet. Snorkeling right at the condo ocean area is fabulous cause we got to swim with turtles. We definitely recommend this place and this owner. She was great keeping in touch and the condo had everything we needed.

We just got back from a 2 week stay. We have 3 kids -17, 13 and 7. I was very nervous to find a place that was comfortable for all of us. Right from the very beginning Mary was available to answer every question I had. She sent us a list of everything to do on Maui, from restaurants to activities. This was fantastic! Check-in was seamless. The condo was spacious, very clean and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect, right on the beach. We did have to walk about 50 feet to pass the rock wall and then step onto the beach which had some snorkeling. The location was central and only took 15-20 min to get to the Walmart/Target, many restaurants and food trucks. Parking was available everyday. The pool was very relaxing. My 7 year old daughter met kids every day. The barbecue by the pool was also great. The condo really needed nothing more. It was extremely well organized with labels for everything in all the closets and cabinets. Since there were 5 of us, we did need an additional bed. There was a queen size blow-up mattress (with linens) that we set up in the living room at night. The air conditioning unit cooled off the living room/kitchen area nicely and there were fans in all the rooms. However, the smaller bedroom was very warm and my son had a hard time sleeping. The master bedroom was warm but not as hot - this was my only negative. Overall, it was great and we loved it. You will be very happy booking this condo. Thank you, Mary!

Great location by the beach. Condo is updated and had all the amenities. The complex is also very well maintained. The beach is 2 miles long with access only from each end and we were at on end. Awesome place.

It is an amazing place to stay. The property is clean and comfortable located on the beach. Close to all of the tourist destinations but laid back so you can enjoy the beauty without being in a crowd. It is close to west maui and the road to Hana. Would definitely recommend this property.

Everything was great! The host is amazing! Kept us up to date on everything that was going on before our trip. Answered all questions in 24hrs or less, they even had a binder with everything we might possibly have questions on & suggestions on adventures in the rental. Nice little condo with some updates in Maalaea. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed. I appreciate how quickly the owner responded to our emails. I would recommend this property although for us we will probably stay in another area of Maui.

Everything went exactly like it was supposed to. Got exactly what I expected. The condo and location were absolutely perfect! Structure & window treatment could’ve used a little updating but other than that it was great. Absolutely fabulous premises & beachfront. Had all the amenities to make for a perfect stay. Maui is beautiful and exceeded all expectations for our first time to a Hawaiian island. The condo we stayed in was comfortable with all the amenities needed for a great stay. The beds were very comfortable (not too soft or hard - just right). We truly had all the comforts of home right in our place. The owner, Mary Pedretti, provided every thing needed to complete your stay. There were plenty of beach towels and floatation devices for fun in the pool. Updated appliances, nice decor, clean, and just as presented on the web - you won’t be disappointed.
Being right on the beach, hearing the sound of the ocean was very calming and soothing. We had easy access to local stores and attractions. Beach Bums cafe nearby had the best ribs, the beaches were breathtaking and the weather was perfect! The property is well maintained by the groundskeepers who were there daily bright and early cleaning the grill, trimming the grass, and cleaning the pool. You can book this location with confidence. We hope to come again soon.

Aloha Maui Visitors! Your stay at Mary's Maui condo will truly be a taste of heaven! Don't hesitate, stop spending hours looking & comparing; just book it! You will not be disappointed! I was fortunate to stay here in December to celebrate ME, my birthday, time with my sister & friend, and just rejuvenate. It was important to me to be able to sit on the lanai with my coffee in the morning, walk steps to the beach for morning strolls, and be centrally located to other activities & sights I might want to experience. ALL accomplished! :) I opened the windows as soon as I arrived and never closed them until I left. There is something magical about being lulled to sleep, and waking up to, the sound of the waves. Mary's home, as the pics reflect, is gorgeous and decorated tastefully with comfortable furniture & beautiful artwork. (It was important to me to not end up paying for a place with furniture from the 70s. I won't expound, I'm sure you get the picture.) Her home is one of the most well-appointed places I've ever stayed. It is not lacking anything! Just add YOU! The kitchen has everything one could need, the stainless steel washer & dryer are full size, the beds are so very comfortable, the bathrooms are beautiful, and there are beach toys/towels provided. The central location is marvelous with miles of beach at the tip of your toes! I can't further elaborate how extremely pleased I was. I will be returning and plan on staying here again! Aloha!

Thank you for allowing us to use your Condo during our 15th wedding Anniversary trip. The condo itself is very nice, well appointed, nice and clean, very well stocked with most anything you would need to have an awesome Hawaiian vacation. (we did buy two new pillows when we first got there) Location is great as well, loved to be able to walk Sugar beach barefoot daily, as well having the harbor so close was very convenient for whale cruise and Beach Bums restaurant. Only drawback was planes making final approach due to wind direction took them right over bldg., as well the pool circulation fountain was noisy when sliding doors were open. Both minor and would not deter me from staying here again. Love all the fans you have to keep the place cool we only needed A/C for a couple hrs each night just to get to sleep, daytimes with the breeze was perfect. I highly recommend this condo for anyone looking for a nice clean and well appointed place to enjoy a Maui vacation.

Thanks Mary for letting us stay in your condo. You were a pleasure to work with. Your unit has been recently updated with a comfortable bed, leather furniture, well equipped kitchen and baths. There was a beautiful view from the Lanai. We would highly recommend this unit and we look forward to staying there in the future. The only reason we are not giving it 5 stars is the air traffic noise being that it is on the flight path of the airport which only affected us during the day.

My family of 5 really loved staying here! This ocean front condo has been tastefully updated and has it's own private beach. The sea turtles swim close to the shore, we were lucking enough to see them up close while snorkeling. We were in walking distance to the harbour which has a few restaurants, shops, Aquarium and many opportunities for boat tours (whale watching/snorkeling ect. This is a great location and we would definitely go back!

I just returned from this lovely condo where 6 gal pals enjoyed 8 days. I can't say enough wonderful things. The unit is beautifully updated and nicely stocked. Everything is in good working order and very clean. The grounds are meticulously maintained. The beach is always quiet and is perfect for a liesurely stroll or swimming. Mary was awesome to work with. She left us a list of recommendations and we were not dissappointed in anything she suggested! Our stay at Kanai A Nalu #216 far exceeded our expectations on all levels.

This is a beautiful property! The unit was spacious and well appointed. Everything was in good working order and super clean. Nice linens and plenty of sheets, towels, even beach towels. Thoughtful extras like paper towels, dishwasher packets, and laundry soap. The beach is wonderful and excellent for swimming. We loved seeing the giant sea turtles every day. This property is conveniently located between Kehei and Lahaina on a dead end street so it is super quiet. There is a convenience store and restaurant/bar within walking distance. 15 minutes from the airport. We hope to stay here again very soon!

First of all the place is FANTASTIC!! Lets start with the unit Immaculate, Beautiful the views from the balcony breath taking. You can't ask for a better deal on the island and the landscaping, pool, grills are all taken care of each day. We will be back can't wait......
