• Big Island is such a wonderful place to spend with your friends and family, children and grandchildren. Vacations create such wonderful memories; our hope is this trip will be one of your fondest family memories and that you'll return year after year.
This 4 bedroom home is fully furnished with (2) Master Suites, each with a private ensuite, and King size bed. The third bedroom is furnished with (2) queen beds, and the fourth bedroom has two twin beds that can be combined to make a King.
The airy open concept main floor includes kitchen, dining area, great room, and large lanai with outdoor kitchen. The dining room table will comfortably accommodate 8 people plus another 4 at the lanai outdoor table, or 3 at the expansive kitchen island. The large couch and chair in the great room are perfect for relaxing after a long day of fun in the sun! The great room is perfect for relaxing, playing games watch the game, or relax with a movie.
The main floor lanai, equipped with BBQ, outdoor living room, and dining area is a perfect place to enjoy throughout the day. Each lanai is tastefully furnished for your comfort and enjoyment. Whether you're celebrating a birthday, anniversary, a new job, retirement, or simply celebrating the sunshine, our home is sure to create a great experience.

We love building really big sand castles. Kohala sand is exceptional for this and we have the tools for kids and adults alike. For your day at the beach, you'll find

• Large collection of snorkel gear in multiple sizes so you can share the wonders of the ocean
• Boogie boards to enjoy playing in the waves

• Large wheeled cooler and Tupperware containers for your beach picnic
Enjoy our collection of bikes (adult, youth, and kids with helmets and locks) allowing you to explore the Mauna Lani resort. They are great for going to the Private Beach Club, exploring the Black Sand Beach, historical grounds, Fairmont resort hotel or the many other wonderful places that Mauna Lani has to offer. Ask us about deals on a GEM Neighborhood Electric Vehicle (Golf cart) rental for even more family fun.

Having traveled with our kids when they were young we know how difficult it is to lug all the baby equipment. Our goal is to make your life easier so we have equipped our vacation home with:

Things to do
Staying in KaMilo gives you full access to its Recreation Center with fitness equipment and multiple hot tubs and lap pool, free form pool, and kiddie pool.
You can also take advantage of the clean private beach club staffed with lifeguards and the Napua Restaurant just two miles away. Excellent snorkeling in calm waters!
A short drive away are six (6) of the most spectacular beaches in Hawaii including Beach 69, Hapuna beach and the breath-taking Mauna Kea beach.
The Kohala Coast is a golfer's paradise with seven (7) challenging courses all within 7 miles of our villa.
Minutes down the street is the Shops at Mauna Lani where you can find a super market, coffee shops, restaurants, clothing and accessory stores, art, and free weekly entertainment in the evenings.

At first thought this listing was too good to be true. The place was exactly as shown in photos and with accurate description. Home is fully stocked with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. Perfect for families with children. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. My family and I truly enjoyed our stay and will recommend to others. I say go for it and book this place asap!

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our two sons and their families at Plumeria Hale with great fun. It was a great place to headquarter from for our various tours and excursions around the island. The resort pool and beach were just what we were hoping for to play and relax. The house was well appointed and spacious for the 10 of us, aged 2 to 71! We’d rent it again!

We had a wonderful time staying at Plumeria Hale! The property was clean and comfortable enough for all 7 adults and we loved the extras like the bicycles and snorkeling equipment. Island attractions were easily within a day trip. But we also really enjoyed the amenities included in the surrounding resort and could have just as happily spent the entire vacation relaxing within the the Mauna Lani community.

Beautiful home in a gated community. Favorite feature is the family room that opened up to the lanai. You could be sitting on the lanai but still be interacting with the people in the family room. Extremely clean and very comfortable furniture. When we needed some A/C it cooled the home with no problem. But we often had the A/C off and had the lanai doors open. We had 2 cars with us and one fit in the garage and the other in the drive2 way. During our 5 day stay we never heard the neighbors in the connecting home. Very quite neighborhood and very safe. Great for riding the bikes they provide. They do have rules that you need to follow but nothing difficult. It's basically respecting the neighbours and the property. The communication was great with the management company and again the home felt very much like a home. Thank you to all involved with making our stay wonderful.
