Beautiful home in a great neighborhood. Tastefully decorated home with many custom construction touches. Gourmet kitchen was well stocked with pans and utensils, allowing us to cook many meals at home. Beds were all very comfortable and everything was very clean when we arrived. Nice to have beach gear available too. Pool was great and beautiful to start. Also regularly used the BBQ setup by the pool. Unfortunately, it looks like the pool guy did not finish his job midstay and the pool got cloudy and turned green on about the 7th day of the trip. Pool guy came back on the 9th day of 11, but pool was still green when we left. Unfortunate but did not keep us from enjoying our trip. Would absolutely stay here again!

I brought my two teenage sons and 87 year old father for this wonderful vacation. The property was meticulously cared for and every bit as beautiful as the photos. It was so quiet and peaceful. The open floorplan was perfect for my father who uses a walker. There was plenty of room for us to all share time together as well as enough room to have some quiet space when we wanted it. The location is perfect for whatever adventure you might be looking for. We will absolutely be back. I'm already telling my dad he will be celebrating his 88th birthday here!

We had a lovely time at Hale Nalani! I gave 4 stars for cleanliness because there was a clump of hair in the bathroom and a dead cockroach in the bedroom (they’re very common in HI). The pool was also a bit dirty even though the pool guy stopped by - he asked when we were leaving and said he’d be back to clean it then. Location was great, we could walk to the Princeville Center for dinner, grocery shopping, drinks, etc. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. House was well stocked and had mostly everything we needed.

Everything was fine. Please note that I got cut and I just got back from the emergency room. We still should be out by 10 AM. Also, I was bleeding a lot, and I was using tissues to stop the bleeding which clogged the master room toilet. A plunger would fix it, but we could not find one. Also, we had misplaced one of the front door keys in the house. So, I had two new keys made at ace hardware and they are on the cabinet in the kitchen.

My family and I spent a week in Princeville at the home, great location, very clean and easily able to accommodate the 6 of us plus an infant. Great kitchen to cook in with all the needed amenities. This property is exactly as described—spacious, beautifully designed, and even bigger than it looks. With tons of hidden nooks and crannies, it was perfect for our group of 5.
The garage was huge and stocked with everything we needed for the beach—chairs, umbrellas, and more—which was VERY much appreciated!
As someone who loves to cook, I found the kitchen well-stocked with quality cookware. Standard spices (salt, pepper, and a few extras) were provided, though no sugar—something we hadn’t thought to grab for coffee. While we didn’t use the BBQ, it looked ready to deliver.
The large opening onto the lanai was spectacular, providing the perfect space to relax. The pool was a treat at the end of the day, especially after tackling the Napali Coast hike. Next time, I’ll get the pool heated as the water was a little cool despite the warm weather. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we found everything we needed for a cozy stay (after a bit of hunting for extra blankets!).
Walking around Princeville was delightful, with convenient stops like Foodland and local markets where we picked up beautiful art. Hanalei was conveniently close. The Hanalei Fish Market is a must—the poke was the best I’ve ever had!
While many of our activities were in Lihue and Poipu, the scenic drives made the travel enjoyable. This was a perfect home away from home for a relaxing Kauai getaway. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful time over Thanksgiving. Cooking and the kids playing in the pool was a hit! The home is set up perfectly and well equipped with everything we needed. We had some mishaps with the dishwasher and dirt dishes in the cabinet but it was quickly corrected and we would love to stay here again.

We had an amazing stay on Kauai at this beautiful property! The pictures fo not do it justice!! Everything was super clean and had everything that we would need!! We loved the location in Princeville!! We were able to see the whole island but our favorite was being on the North Shore! The kids loved relaxing in the pool and sitting g around the outside table talking and spending time together! The house is so roomy we never felt like we were on top of one another. We all had our own space! We loved it! Highly recommend!!

I said it last time we stayed and I'll say it again--better than pictures. Home is fully stocked and a great location. The air conditioner did go out while staying there (was out 3 out of 7 nights) and still waiting on resolution as there should be some discount applied. No ones fault but it was very warm and hard for the guests to enjoy the house in the middle of the day. Otherwise, perfect.

My family and I had a wonderful experience during our stay at this VRBO property. The check-in process was incredibly easy and hassle-free, setting the tone for a relaxing vacation.
The pool was a definite highlight, and having an outdoor shower was a thoughtful touch to keep the sand at bay. The spacious and clean house provided ample room for everyone, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
The extras provided by the host were a delightful surprise. The three boogie boards were a hit with the kids, who couldn't get enough of riding the waves. As adults, we appreciated the beach chairs provided, which allowed us to lounge by the shore with ease.
The property's location was perfect. Being super close to a shopping center with restaurants and Foodland made dining out and grabbing groceries a breeze.

My family and I (five in total) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hale Nalani. It was a fantastic location in Princeville, in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of the Princeville Shopping Center (which we took advantage of on multiple occasions to attend the night market and grocery shop at Foodland) and merely a 10-minute drive away from the town of Hanalei. It was landscaped in such a smart and private way that we never saw the neighboring houses.The house was beautifully decorated with a “zen” type feel that encouraged relaxation. We made use of the pool upon our arrival home from exploring the island each day and it was such a wonderful way to unwind. We cooked breakfast and dinner in the kitchen on a daily basis and it was stocked with everything we needed and more (very high-quality tools)! Each room was impeccably clean and comfortable and we loved having access to the laundry room, which was just as gorgeous of a space as the rest of the house. We additionally appreciated the pool toys, beach chairs, etc.Our only feedback to make the stay even better than it already is would be to provide coffee (whether ground or K-cups), some blankets for the living area and at least one clock as we constantly found ourselves wondering what time it was and would have much preferred to not have to look at our devices. We will undoubtedly stay at Hale Nalani if/when we travel to Kauai again in the future. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We chose this property because it is near our family who live in Princeville and because it has a pool. We could not have been more pleased. The property is lovely, spacious and well equipped. It was clean and comfortable. The property manager was easy to reach and checked in to see how our stay was going. She also brought over a traditional coffee maker for my husband. I would definitely recommend this property to families and small groups. We were able to sit on the beautiful lanai and visit as the youngsters enjoyed the pool! We walked in and were pleasantly surprised at how big the home felt. Irs because of the design of the open lanai combined with the open floor plan between the kitchen and living room. We appreciated how clean the home is and the wood floors throughout the home. Being on the North Shore means it gets really dark once the sun sets, so it was nice to have games, a pool and a giant kitchen for occasional evenings at home. There is a ridiculous amount of storage, so it takes awhile to find things in the kitchen. There are some spices and a grocery store in walking distance. In that same center, we enjoyed Lapperts ice cream, Sandwich Isle, and Tiki Iniki. The furniture isn’t the most comfortable, but how much do you sit on a trip to Kauai?

We loved this property. The house was beautiful. We especially enjoyed the very private pool and outdoor area. It rained a few times during our visit so it was nice having the covered patio. We used the patio dining area for all of our meals, rain or shine.
This house was the best stocked property we have rented. Beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel equipment, plenty of kitchen equipment and cooking essentials.
The open kitchen (open to the patio through folding sliders to the patio) with high end appliances made meal prep easy and enjoyable.
The property was walking distance to the Princeville shopping mall and community center where the farmers market was held on Saturday and Sunday. The Foodland grocery store at Princeville was better stocked and priced similar to the stores in Kapaa'a.

I did not give this property 5 stars for the poor communication I experienced while there. Upon arrival we realized that one of the air conditioning units was not working. When I first called to report an issue I was told someone would be in touch with me. That never happened. I called the following day and was unable to reach anyone. I was able to report the issue on day 3.

We had an amazing stay here at what was probably the nicest property we’ve ever stayed at or will stay at. Loved the Asian/Buddhist theme that added to the tranquility of the space, and it had absolutely everything we needed for a comfortable stay. This is the place you want if you’re searching for a luxury group setting!
(Awesome) Pros:
- Incredible master bedroom and bathroom, complete with a stone-laid, floor-to-ceiling shower with multiple shower heads and jacuzzi tub
- Cool and comfortable temp inside with fans, a very welcome escape from the heat
- Complete kitchen with any cooking and grilling accessories you could think of
- Beach amenities galore, including umbrellas
- Comfy bed with pillows that weren’t too soft like many other places.
- Very close to Princeville shopping center (about a 10 min. walk)
(Minor) Cons:
- Jacuzzi tub jets on the back didn’t work (or at least we couldn’t figure them out despite many attempts), so we didn’t get the complete experience :/
- Couldn’t figure out how to enable streaming platforms on the TV, but less TV isn’t a bad thing :)
- Sooo many light switches in the house and cupboards in the kitchen that it took some trial and error learning locations, haha

Can’t recommend this property enough, check in and communication was simple and smooth. The house was beautiful with everything you need to be comfortable. I have not stayed in a cleaner or more organized VRBO property. The pool and grill were perfect after long days. A small little library under the TV was a nice addition for beach reading. All the beach gear you need located in the garage, including snorkeling gear. Property location is perfect, close to all the major north shore attractions. Thank you for making our vacation that much better.

My husband and I came here with our 4 year old and 7 year old and had a super relaxing time. The house is fully stocked with anything that you need including beach chairs, umbrellas and a cooler. Anini beach was perfect and we had our own private beach with the kids and the water was great for the littles. The pool itself was a great way to end the day. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back.

Short distance to Hanalei beach and restaurants, and a quick walk to the market and shops in Princeville. Golfing at Makai was spectacular. Enjoyed the pool in the afternoons. Lovely home and property ! Very secluded given its location which was primo! We loved the zen garden along the pool- the back yard has oranges and avocados which was perfect cause there was one ripe one on the ground that we needed for our dinner one night!!!! Gotta love when the Aina gives you that extra Aloha ;) the space was well decorated with open simple Zen style decor which is totally my jam! The couches were super comfy and the beds- the comforters were super hot which was the only manini issue so we stole a sheet from another bed so we could both be comfortable and not too hot but not to chilly while we slept! The beach towels- beach chairs were great plus to have and really nice quality! The kitchen I loved and how organized all the drawers were making it easy to find everything and cook meals - We Would recommend this place to anyone!

This house is very nice, very spacious and beautifully furnished with Asian inspired decor. In an excellent location within walking distance of the Princeville shopping center. The property management company was very helpful, communication was excellent and allowed us to check in early. Kitchen was well appointed. My only constructive criticisms were that the lighting in the home is very dark, even with all the lights on (the light bulbs are too warm / not bright enough.) Also, the outdoor grill grates were rusty / not usable. Probably time to replace those (or clean them better.) But those are minor gripes, honestly. I would recommend this home if you'd like a luxurious experience and a very open / unique layout in a great location.

We loved opening the pocket doors and “being outside” during all the daylight hours, especially while cooking in the spacious, well equipped kitchen. Quick access to Hanalei and northern beaches. This house is very well appointed. It’s stocked with tommy bahama beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys and boogie boards. The furnishings are all very nice as well-modern kitchen, nice outdoor seating options and comfortable beds. The location is ideal for exploring hanalei and princeville-you can easily walk to the playground for the Saturday farmers market and also over to the princeville center. Management was easy to work with and quick to reply. Would stay again!!
