Lotus Pad at KaMilo is a large detached 2-level 3 bedroom home that is exquisitely furnished with 3 Master Suites. The first Master Bedroom features both a walkout to the pool area, and a spa-like ensuite complete with a soaker tub. The second bedroom has two full size double beds. The third main floor master with Queen bed. The downstairs second living room has a sleeper sofa as well.
The airy open concept main floor includes kitchen, dining area, great room, and large covered lanai with grill.
The upstairs living room features a 65" Ultra HD 4K TV.
One of the greatest features of this home is the sliding glass wall of windows that open and slide away to hide into wall pockets. The glass wall opens up to over 22 feet to a massive lanai that has a dining table with sectional couch and a table and chairs adds to the large living area while allowing your family and guests to soak in the ocean, mountain and golf views. The large high-end grill is perfect for bringing home the fresh catch of the day or veggies from one of the many farmers markets.
This home features a second living room downstairs that is perfect for the teens or kids to relax, play games, or listen to music on the sound-bar, watch the game, or watch a movie. The room also features a sleeper sofa.
The private pool is a great place for families or couples by day and for the adults to enjoy a glass of wine at night under the stars in the crystal clear Hawaiian skies. What a way to conclude a day of beaches, exploring Hawaiian volcanoes and the many other activities.
County Law requires alarms on all ground-level sliding doors that lead to pool area, in order to prevent doors from being left open indefinitely.

Things to do
Staying in KaMilo gives you full access to its Recreation Center with fitness equipment and multiple hot tubs and lap pool, freeform pool and kiddie pool.
You can also take advantage of the clean private beach club staffed with lifeguards and the Napua Restaurant just two miles away. Excellent snorkeling in calm waters!
A short drive away are the six of the most spectacular beaches in Hawaii including Beach 69, Hapuna beach and the breathtaking Mauna Kea beach.
The Kohala coast is a golfer's paradise with seven challenging courses all within seven miles of our villa.
Minutes down the street is the Shops at Mauna Lani where you can find supermarket, coffee shops, restaurants, clothing and accessory stores, art, and free weekly entertainment in the evenings.

This was exactly what we were looking for in a rental property. We had a total of 8 in our party, 6 adults and 2 children. There was more than enough room for all of us to be comfortable in our own space. There was also a lot to do. Beautiful beaches nearby, bikes to ride around, grocery store right down the road, and bigger pools/jacuzzis to choose from. There's really no need to leave the house because it has everything you need.

What an incredible vacation we had and this property was just as described and perfect in every way. The beach club is close and excellent and one of the very best beaches in the country is only 12 minutes away, the gym and pool even closer and with a quick stop at Costco only about 30 minutes from the airport. We watched the sunset every night from the beach and I was able to see the sunrise most mornings as well. The golf is incredible and they have twilight rates and good prices for teens so the boys had a fabulous time. The big island does not disappoint. There is so much to do. If you want an easy, luxurious beach, pool, mountain, volcano, scuba diving, hiking, triathlon vacation, this is your place. We will be back!

We very much enjoyed staying at this amazing place. We ran into a pool heating glitch the day we arrived but the management took care of it immediately. We will definitely come back to this place in the future. The beach associated with this property is great and all beach tools for both kids and grownup are abundance.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Lotus Pad. The house is spacious and well furnished. All three bedrooms were very comfortable. I'm kind of picky about beds, and the bed was great. The eating area was large, and there were plenty of plates, pots, etc.
We loved the pool and hot tub. The hot tub did have to be heated before use, which took about 90 minutes. Note that you can change the temperature it's heated to up to 104 degrees, which is as high as is safe for hot tubs.
The downstairs had an alarm on the door, which we appreciated since we have a little one. I was glad we rented a 2 story house since we loved going out on the upstairs lanai and leaving the doors open in the evenings when the weather cooled.
The house was very well equipped. I really appreciated that we could rent a full sized crib. In addition, the house had a high chair, games for the kids, balls and water toys, snorkel equipment, beach chairs. It was great not having to drag everything, like snorkel gear, with us from home.
The house is very well located. Waikoloa is a great community, and within a couple miles of the house are multiple beautiful beaches. In addition, I particularly liked the private beach you have access to. The snorkeling there was wonderful and felt very safe.
My only complaint is that they limit the A/C to 72 degrees. I woke up sweating the first couple of nights. For nearly a grand a night, I'd like to be able to cool the house to 69 or 70!
Overall, though, highly recommended and we'd stay there again.

Our party of six stayed here and had more than enough space and fun! The home was as advertised! It was very clean and well maintained. It had all the amenities to help make our stay as comfortable as possible. We took the bikes around the community, used the parking pass and snorkeling fins (there were masks but we used our own) and parking pass to enjoy the private beach. Lastly, the PiH team was very responsive even for the little things! We felt at home away from home and would definitely love to stay again.

Being that we are locals to Hawai'i Island, with all the restrictions to travel, others breaking restrictions and the pandemic...
Our family needed some time away to celebrate our daughters 10th birthday.
We found this gem and stayed here for 4 days. It was quaint, perfect and we were at ease to have our own private pool and time spent with those we hold dear. Not having to worry about wearing a mask and being in 6 feet distance from other acquantiances near a pool or in passing.
Perfect, island getaway in the heart of Puako-Waikoloa! Will keep this gem in mind for future travel plans.
