The Mahana is a luxurious condominium resort known for its private lanais and two-island views, perched right at the ocean's edge. From this condo's floor to ceiling windows, you can watch sea turtles, and see humpback whales in season (from November to May). Enjoy the large heated oceanfront pool and whirlpool spa, tennis courts, two bbq areas, shuffleboard, and plenty of free parking. The spacious bedroom with king bed opens completely to the lanai and the ocean beyond, unlike most complexes with the bedroom at the back. Fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of the waves...you'll have the best sleep of your life!
Mahana 717 is on the 7th floor in the south tower (the Lanai building) and comfortably sleeps 4 adults, with a king bed in the bedroom, and a queen sofa bed with new 8 in. mattress in the living room. The full kitchen includes refrigerator with ice maker, combo Keurig/drip coffee maker, coffee bean grinder with French press, waffle iron, portable hand mixer, range, dishwasher, microwave, and toaster. You can cook in the well-equipped kitchen, maybe grill some fresh catch downstairs on the bbq's (local Opah is our favorite), or get some delicious island take-out, and then dine on your very own private lanai. Dramatic sunsets and the beautiful islands of Lanai and Molokai will be in full view...you won't find a better table at any restaurant!
There are 2 flat screen TV's, and a DVD player. You'll have central air conditioning, your own washer/dryer, iron and ironing board and many extras to make your stay all the more relaxing. We provide beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrella and coolers, and a personally curated list of nearby restaurants, shops and other amenities.
Rent direct from us the owners, avoiding any resort fees, parking fees, and aloof management companies. Why book with a big company, not even knowing what unit you'll get, or what prior guests may have thought of the unit? Our reviews are submitted to our listing by our own guests. We can't change a word of them, just add a reply. All the photos you see are of the actual unit. We personally book and manage our condo, and answer all your questions promptly. We love Maui, and want to help you love it too! Our wonderful on-island cleaners and staff are just minutes away, should any need arise. The key-less door entry system and self check-in and registration downstairs gives you easy access. Including the spacious lanai, it’s 1000 sq. feet of paradise, with everything you need for your island escape...the only thing missing is YOU! (Better plan ahead, our calendar stays pretty full!)

We've had over 10 years experience owning two previous Hawaiian rentals, with a combined total of over 400 five star reviews. We're excited to join the Mahana family. We visit Maui 3 to 4 times a year, continually upgrading and refurbishing as needed, to make sure everything is exactly as promised. Don't be surprised to find the condo even better than the pictures and description!
We recommend this condo for up to 4 adults. The unit is not set up to be child-friendly. Please note, the swimming pool downstairs begins at 4 ft. and ends at 9 ft.

The entire Mahana resort is undergoing an exterior construction/spalling repair project. This unit ceased having guests in August 2021, due to the project, and as the new owners we've just begun to host guests in June 2022.
Our condo's exterior lanai work is completed, but there may be continued work on adjacent areas. We have discounted our rates to account for that. Work is done Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 3:30, and sometimes on Saturdays. The building's parking lot side is scheduled to finish in fall 2022. With the help of our on-island reps, we're monitoring the situation and additional discounts may be available. The unit has had a thorough deep clean. We've refurbished and refreshed the unit, adding new linens and pillows, and updated the kitchen amenities, adding waffle maker, portable mixer, K-cup and carafe coffee maker, bean grinder and French press. We've also installed a brand new washer/dryer. Updates are posted here as they become available.
