We're excited to be the new owners (Jan. 2022) of Mahana at Kaanapali #717, a direct oceanfront condo on north Kaanapali beach. This luxurious condominium resort, known for its private lanais and two-island views, is perched right at the ocean's edge. Watch the turtles, and see the whales in season (late November to May) from the floor-to-ceiling windows. Enjoy a heated oceanfront pool and spa, tennis courts, shuffleboard, bbq's, and plenty of free, unassigned parking. You'll be renting directly from us the owners, with no management fees or resort fees. The spacious bedroom with king bed opens completely to the lanai with the ocean just beyond, unlike most complexes with the bedroom at the back. Fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of the waves...you'll have the best sleep of your life. Relax, read, or nap on the new oceanfront lounger on the lanai!

Mahana 717 is on the 7th floor in the south tower (the Lanai building) and comfortably sleeps 4 adults, with a king bed in the bedroom, and a queen sofa bed with new 8 in. mattress in the living room. The full kitchen includes refrigerator with ice maker, combo Keurig single serve/carafe coffee maker, coffee bean grinder with a French press, waffle iron, portable hand mixer, range, dishwasher, microwave, and toaster. You can cook in the well-equipped kitchen, grill some fresh catch down on the bbq's (local Opah is our favorite), or get take-out, and dine on your very own private lanai. Dramatic sunsets and the beautiful islands of Lanai and Molokai will be in full view...you won't find a better table at any restaurant!

There are 2 flat screen TV's, DVD player, central A/C, washer/dryer, iron/board and many extras to make your stay comfortable. We provide beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrella and coolers, and a personally curated list of nearby restaurants, shops and other amenities. You'll be able to visit the convenient Maui Concierge Services desk down in the lobby, to book activities and tours for your stay.

There's a reason our condo has 5-star reviews. We personally book and manage our condo, and answer your questions promptly. You're not dealing with a big, aloof management company, or assigned any old random unit. Our condo's reviews are submitted directly to our listing by our prior guests. We can't change a word of them, just add our reply. All the photos you see are of our actual unit. Our wonderful on-island staff are just minutes away, should any need arise. The key-less door entry system, registration, and self check-in gives you easy access. Including the spacious lanai, it’s 1000 sq. feet of paradise, with everything you need for your island escape...the only thing missing is YOU! Better plan ahead, our calendar stays pretty full!

We have over 10 years experience owning/managing vacation rentals we'd previously owned on Maui and Kauai (with a combined total of over 400 5-star reviews) but have now joined the Mahana family. We visit Maui 3 to 4 times a year, continually upgrading and refurbishing the condo, making sure it's exactly as promised. Don't be surprised to find the condo even better than the pictures and description. We're continually adding new things, like the new Tropitone chaise lounger on the lanai.

This condo is recommended for up to 4 adults, and is not set up to be child-friendly (no porta crib, etc.). There is no children's pool, the swimming pool downstairs begins at 4 ft. and ends at 9 ft.

There is NO SMOKING whatsoever in this condo, including on the lanai.

**Construction update:
The entire Mahana resort is undergoing a routine but necessary exterior construction/spalling repair project. Our tower's exterior oceanfront lanai work is completed, but work may be ongoing on the parking lot side. We have discounted our rates to account for that. Work is occasionally done Mon-Fri from 7:30 to 3:30, and sometimes on Saturdays. The building's parking lot side is scheduled to finish in early 2023. With the help of our on-island reps, we're monitoring the situation closely, and additional discounts may be available. The condo has been thoroughly deep cleaned, refurbished and refreshed. We've added an chaise lounger on the lanai, new linens, pillows, and many kitchen amenities such as waffle maker, pancake griddle, hand mixer, K-cup and carafe coffee maker, bean grinder, French press, and a brand new washer/dryer.
