We had a fantastic stay at Bill’s vacation home in Princeville. Communication was great. The check in and check out processes were seamless. It had all the amenities we were looking for and ended up being more spacious than we expected. The parking spot was convenient. We enjoyed the beach and snorkeling equipment as well as the small high-top table on the balcony for breakfasts and dinners outside. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

We really enjoyed staying at this beautiful condo in Princeville. The location was a short drive to Hanalei Bay and close to a local farmers market. It is definitely worth the price and has amazing views.

This was a perfect spot for a couple. Essentially a little studio with everything you need-kitchenette, kitchen tools, nice bathroom setup plus a little lanai for enjoying breakfast and or in the evening. Trail down to the beach (labeled differently on google). Quiet except for the roosters! We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!

We are so grateful for the opportunity to have stayed at this property. The location is stunningly beautiful, and when we arrived the property was very clean and welcoming. We had everything we needed for a 7 day stay. The AC worked fantastically, the kitchenette was well stocked with needed items, and the bathroom was spacious and nice. This is a great rental for your stay in Kauai. The property was very clean, well organized and filled with convenient items throughout like sunscreen, boogie boards, snorkel gear, and kitchen items. The curtains are see through and the walls are very thin so little to no privacy but we still enjoyed our stay regardless. Queens bath is a 30 min walk from the property. I’d recommend this property to friends in the future!

The Princeville area is simply stunning and this property is located a short drive from Hanalei and Kapa’a, both areas with shops, food, and beaches. We loved the location. The studio itself was very clean and well kept, with a spacious bathroom. The main area/living room includes a bed and sofa bed, so be advised that everyone is sleeping in the same room together. The kitchenette is small but there is a full fridge in a closet for extra food storage, and we really appreciated the hot plate for cooking, as there is no stove. The balcony is long with a great view. The host, Bill, is very accessible and accommodating. Overall a lovely stay. Thanks Bill!

I stayed here with my daughter, and this was a wonderful place to call “home base” during our 8-night stay on Kauai. Spacious, clean and comfortable, especially with the AC. Other amenities included in the listing and prior visitors’ reviews were indeed very convenient. I wanted some rest and relaxation away from crowds but close enough to awesome beaches, and this place definitely fulfilled that.
We received clear and helpful information, including directions to the studio and designated parking. We were able to meet the owners, who treated us with such warm aloha. Mahalo, Bill and Cathy! Best trip in years!

It was in a beautiful area! Quiet. Lots of amenities. We appreciated the beach gear, mountain views, large TV. The North Shore was away from the hussle and bussle on the island. Sealodge Beach was a fun trek and so very peaceful! Anini Beach was close and quite a gem in itself! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already planning our next trip back to the island. There are no words that describe the beauty and peace of this place. Bill and Cathy were wonderful hosts. They anticipated all of our needs. We loved watching the sunrise and sunset off the Lanai and watching the chickens roam the property. The hike to the secret falls was one of the highlights of the trip. I could go on and on about the wonderful experiences we had here. Thanks for sharing your Aloha spirit with us.

Bill's information before I arrived helped plan my trip. He communicated with me several times throughout the stay asking if I needed anything. Amazing host! The condo is exactly like the pictures. Very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The closet had an extra full size refrigerator, an umbrella, 2 beach chairs, 2 boogie boards, multiple sets of snorkeling gear, a cooler, and walking sticks which were so great for all the adventures and beach time. There was even a stash of bug spray and sunscreen in the bathroom from previous renters. Would highly recommend this apartment in a quiet neighborhood as a landing point on the north side of the island. The view from the lanai is beautiful! Plan to stay here again on my next visit.

Nice place to enjoy Kauai and the North Shore. It’s a one room condo with mini kitchen, but has everything you need to enjoy your stay.. it’s quiet and feels very private. View from balcony of mountains is lovely. Pictures of place don’t really capture charm of condo.
Nice access to a small beach that’s 10 minute walk. Please know that it’s a trail though the woods so there’s a downhill and uphill and it can be muddy when it rains. It was great for us, but this is not a resort so keep your expectations realistic.
We were here for a week and loved our stay. Bill was great in every aspect of the condo. I don’t want to leave!

Centrally located on the north end of the island so easy jumping off point. Really enjoyed the balcony. It was nice to have beach chairs and a cooler to take out.
Disappointed in “trail and local beach”- much longer than a 10min hike and very slippery terrain- not safe to be hiking down carrying anything not to mention my 2 year old and “beach” was rocky and wavy.
Wished the place had a washer/ dryer for our 5 day stay- ran out of towels since nothing air dries in the humidity; Bed sheets were rough and itchy. Kitchenette is very very tiny thankfully the “closet fridge” was decent sized. Shower was large and good water pressure but it takes a while to find the hot water as the knob spins round and round. The toilet ran the entire time we were there- could not get it to stop and it clogged once. Toilet needs replacement.

The location was perfect and Bill was super easy to work with. If you're looking for a small and private place to stay I'd definitely recommend this place again. It does get a little warm at night sometimes and the fans do help. Only issue with leaving windows open all night is you get woken up by the roosters at 3-4am. This is more of an island problem that needs to be managed.

Everything you need. We didn’t spend much time in the room obviously cause it’s Hawaii and you should spend every minute you can outside. But it was very nice to have just enough space to make life simple. The host is awesome and they make it so simple to come and go. We wanted to be low impact on them and they were low impact on us. My wife and 2 daughters (7 & 11) had an AMAZING time in this beautiful condo in Princeville! The condo had everything we could ever want on our adventure. Kitchenette was perfect size and was stocked with everything we needed. Snorkel gear, chairs and umbrella was a great touch! 10 minute walk to Turtle
Cove and a secluded beach. Central location to all local beaches and a short 7 minute drive to Hanalei. And the best of all was Bill! He gave us tips and different ideas from things to do, places to eat and beaches that are must see! Bill communicated the entire time and was very helpful and informative. We definitely will be planning our next trip to Kauai with him and hopefully next time we can book the ocean condo! Mahalo!

I enjoyed the fact that the stay included cookware for at home meals. As well as beach gear such as chairs, towels, a cooler and snorkel gear. My only complaint would be the close proximity to the neighbors. At night you could see directly into the neighbors bedroom so they can see into yours too. We ended up having to put up a sheet so that we could have some privacy. I think that this could be fixed with just some opaque curtains. In all the location is great proximity to hanalei bay which had the best beaches, and a little far from the south shore where we spent more time. Though we like to drive around to see our surroundings and explore, so I wouldnt call that a downside. SInce the island is small, it makes getting around quite easy.

We couldn’t have ask for a better experience. It was extremely clean and gave a great island vibe feel. It was relaxing to sit on the patio in the morning and evening, while we enjoyed watching and trying to count all the chickens. The bed was comfortable and was even better when we realized there was a memory foam pad that we could use. The place did get hot but we managed by using the fans. Our experience overall was amazing and we were able to make unforgettable memories at the orchard point and the beaches that surround the property. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your place.

First of all, the owner has a great communication and gets 5/5. However, I am sad to say that I cannot recommend this property. This location does not have an AC. It doesn't say in the listing that it does, so that's fine. However, this location simply requires an AC. It gets really hot during the day and gets too hot in the room. In the evening, we have to sleep with fans blasting, yet have to turn them off in the middle of the night / early morning when the temperature drops. We have to keep the window open to sleep. Around 4am, there are about 50 roosters all around the property starts going off, so there was no good night sleep.
The owner also wrote to us that neighbor is very sensitive to sound, so we need to turn down everything at 10pm. As it says, we had a nice little nastygram saying that bathroom ilvent was on and kept them at until midnight. A bathroom vent? First of all, I do not Know what they are talking about. Second, I'll use the bathroom vent when we need to, when we need to. Those same people talked so loud and been slamming the door every morning. I guess the world revolves around them. Not on the owner, but it certainly ruined our nice little experience at the property.
The hidden beach in the back was nice, and the owner keeps the nice beach equipments. Anini beach is close by and was very nice, along with the hidden beach in the back.
Again, the owner was very nice and the property was clean. I just cannot recommend this property without the AC.

The host is very accommodating! He listed many great restaurants and places to go. He provided chairs coolers and snorkeling gear. Only about a 15 minute walk to the private beach great little snorkeling spot and close to a fun shopping center. Very clean beautiful deck to watch sunsets!

The Mountain room is neatly arranged and surprisingly spacious for its actual size. The breeze that flows throughout the place is a delight and the sound of the ocean waves is like a lullaby while your sleeping. Needless to say my wife and I loved everything about. ZERO complaints from us. MAHALO

If you love Kauai's sacred land, you'll love this unique gem on the most pristine and exclusive side of the island--nestled between lush, green rolling hills, a post-card worthy/picturesque ocean, and mountain views for days.
I've stayed in plenty of rentals on Hawaii's islands, and while the photos show beautiful interiors and exteriors, you'll experience dated properties, stained carpets and furniture, backed-up showers, and other unkept elements needing upgrades...the list goes on.
Bill's property, on the other hand, is the exact opposite. It's clear he continuously invests in maintaining a beautiful, updated property. Everything is well-thought-out, from the umbrellas in the entryway, an LED sink faucet light to the unexpected sensor nightlight that guides you to the bathroom in the dark. The Hawaiian Awapuhi shower products are a nice touch!
As you've read from the other reviews, it's a very spacious, high-ceiling studio with everything you need and you'll definitely appreciate the large bathroom. If you cook, you'll have everything at your fingertips; I think I counted four can openers. I just needed to boil eggs, and that was easily achievable.
Its convenient location makes it easy for taking walks in the morning to get coffee/groceries, run/bike on paved paths, fantastic golf opportunities, and quick access to Hanalei where you'll find dining options.
If you're into exploring beaches, snorkeling, hiking, kayaking, etc., I highly recommend studying Bill's adventure list. Not only will you save time researching, you'll see a variety of the most untouched parts of the land. I also recommend booking the shuttle to Tunnel's Beach instead of driving as you've probably read about the limited parking and a current influx of cars and tourists trying to access it. Parking on the side/illegally will cost a $250 fine; there is actually someone present to write parking tickets. Same with the Kalalau Trail--if you're interested in hiking, book the shuttle in advance. While there is a lifeguard on Tunnel's beach, if you plan on swimming (the area opposite to the calm snorkeling area) use a boogie board or wear the fins provided by Bill--you'll need them to propel you back to the shore to escape the strong undertow and beware of the hidden coral.
Bill also has a great restaurant and farmer market list. With everything Orchid Point has to offer, plus no hassles checking in, I'd stay at any of Bill's properties!

The setting of this property could not be more perfect, such a beautiful neighborhood and the sound of the waves and ocean breeze was so peaceful. Inside was meticulously clean and decorated with the perfect island vibe and included everything you would need, also included were coolers, beach umbrella, snorkeling gear, and boogie boards.
The property host William was helpful in planning, with timely communication and his suggestions were spot on. Our vacation could not have been any more perfect and we give this property our highest recommendation.

This place was located near all the locations I wanted to visit. Also, I loved how this place made everything convenient for me . It had a refrigerator, microwave, picnic cooler, and even a nitro bullet (which was awesome), unlike other condominiums. I felt as if I was at home. Thank you for everything. We thoroughly enjoyed our 7 night stay! The studio was perfect for the two of us. Bill was wonderful to communicate with, his recommendations were outstanding, map to unit very clear and it was easy to find! We used the single burner quite often for cooking as well as the shared BBQ. Appreciated all the cooking tools and dishes, beach gear and especially all the hangers provided! Was unable to find the dryer as listed. We had a car and drove every day to explore and take adventures and this was a perfect location for us!

We had a great time staying here- Bill is an awesome host!! He sent us a ton of recommendations, instructions on how to get to the lovely, beautiful almost-secret beach near the condo, and was super easy to communicate with! The washer/dryer unit wasn't working when we stayed and Bill went as far as offering his home washer and dryer for us to do our laundry, he was more than accommodating which we really appreciated. Can't wait to visit Kauai again!!

We loved the studio apartment. Very comfortable, clean and modern with all the amenities you'd need. Bill was a great host, quick to answer any questions. The best thing about this apartment is that it a short hike to a little known beautiful secret beach that only locals go to. Highly recommended property to stay if you are a couple. At a push you could bring a one or two children as there is a couch that turns into a bed. If you are a bigger party then look into Bill's other property next door which is much bigger.

This cozy little studio type apartment felt like home after the first day! Most things we needed were found in the home. Though we mainly used the home to sleep after eventful days, we enjoyed the property and would recommend! Our only “complaint” would have been the noisy neighbors next door. We were ready for bed around 10 most nights while the neighbors must have slept all day to party all night. Other than that (which really has nothing to do with our personal room), everything was perfect! Thank you!!

My husband and I had lots of activities planned for our stay on the island and were looking for a nice place to lay our heads at night. Bill's mountain studio was the perfect place! We walked to the shopping center and bought groceries so we could cook breakfast every morning on the little burner. We enjoyed our coffee outside on the balcony looking out at the mountains. The neighborhood was quiet (except for the roosters - they woke us up early!) We did not have a car so it was nice to be able to walk to the shopping center where there were restaurants and shops, and we frequented the bus stop that is there to get to other parts of the island. We were also able to walk to Queen's Bath from the studio which ended up being a pro move since there was limited parking at the trailhead and always full! Sunsets were spent at the secret beach down the hill. There is no a/c like most places on the island, but with the Hawaiian breeze coming through the numerous windows and the fans provided, we found it to be very comfortable. 10/10 would recommend to a friend and we can't wait to return!
