The property was just as described, right on the beach with beautiful sunsets to enjoy! We did see a turtle, too! Beds (including the couch bed) were comfortable and even though no ac, we were very comfortable with the windows and fan. Having a corner unit was awesome! Finding the property was easy and it had nearly everything we needed. Communication with the host was great too, very responsive and fast. We hope to return!

This is a good value for an amazing location. We had everything we needed and enjoyed the sunsets on the balcony and enjoying the small beach area. Great spot for snorkeling with sea turtles. They are just right out there in the water.

The condo was wonderful for our 10 day stay in Maui. The condo was very clean, in great condition, the bed was comfortable (I have back problems) and had everything we needed. The location is wonderful and walking distance to stores, restaurants, local food trucks, etc. Filipp was quick to respond to texts re: a few questions we had about check in, gate codes, mail etc. There was plenty of fresh towels for the bath and beach. We spent lots of time watching and listening to the ocean from the lanai or the recliners, and spent time on the beach right in front of the condo. We did not need ac as there are plenty of ceiling fans and louvered windows. This is an end unit which made for even more windows for air and light. We would highly recommend this for a couple or a couple with one child.

Nice and comfortable ocean front corner condo. Filipp was easy and responsive to communicate with.
This rental is in an older 12 unit building with this unit being an updated corner unit that is well equipped and comfortable furnished. The beach in front was never busy and one can swim and snorkel there when the ocean is calm. The balcony was our favorite to just sit and enjoy the view! My 2 Gen Z’ers were happy to find so many great food and shopping options within safe walking distance to explore since they are still too young to drive a rental car. Ms Arepa was our favorite, friendliest service on the island, a block south across from the park.
It was perfect for us but for people with mobility issues (steep stairs) or who is sensitive to road noise or happy children playing loudly - this might not be the spot for you. The condo has no AC so it is Maui style cooling with open louver windows and fans which gives the privacy similar to a campground.
We would definitely stay at this place again.

Amazing location. We saw so many sea turtles AND a little family of humpback whales breaching right off the balcony. That was an incredible experience. I loved just walking down to the beach and floating in my tube. The big waves were fun! There is a little park with a swing set just a block away. We got acai bowls from the Farmers Market and ate them at the park with an incredible view and shade from the beautiful trees.
The other vacationers are super friendly. Lots of them have been coming here for years.
The place is exactly as pictured and awesome. We loved it. I really appreciated the kid plates/cups/utensils. The fans and cross breeze really do keep it cool.
We had some trouble with the keypad and i texted the host and he called me immediately and helps me. That was very wonderful.
We had a great time. Incredible stay.

Filipp’s condo is right on the beach! We watched the waves, turtles, and whales every morning on the lanai with coffee. Couldn’t ask for a better location- on the water and short walk to the snorkel rental, coffee, and small market. We love the small beach in front of the condo and swam/snorkeled every day. The condo was perfect for 2 people, clean, tidy, and well-stocked kitchen. The fans kept the condo cool to sleep, even when we closed some of the windows that face the street. Plenty of cookware, Tupperware, and spices. We brought our own coffee and were all set. We would definitely stay here again!

This is the first place we have stayed on Maui where we almost never left the property during the week we were there. Beautiful beach, good snorkeling and whale watching. The condo was well taken care of ( we loved the recliners) and we'll stocked. It was comfortable even without air conditioning. We would love to come back for a longer visit.

This place was magical.
It is in a very quiet area, so you get to enjoy the sound of the surf and the wind.
I saw turtles EVERY SINGLE DAY!
The beach is small, but beautiful. To be honest I spent more time in the lounge chairs above the break wall (provided by the complex) because it gave a better vantage point to see when the turtles arrived.

This was our first time in Hawaii and this was the PERFECT place for us. I am not a fan of big resorts or crowded areas, this place has the perfect amount of neighbors that were friendly and familiar for our stay. This place was perfect. You have a nice little beach in front so you really don’t need to leave if you don’t want to, we were able to swim and snorkel right out front! The balcony is a great place to watch the sunset and turtles. We fell asleep at night with the breeze and sounds of the ocean. The space was perfect for what we needed, plenty of storage for all of our stuff. The only con? We had to leave!
I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The hosts were extremely responsive and quick as well as helpful. I really can’t say anything negative, it was amazing from every standpoint. Don’t hesitate to book, You won’t be disappointed!

Whoa! This place will just fill you with awe. I never thought we would find a place like this let alone in Maui. My husband found a jackpot of a place 🤩. It has an unobstructed, panoramic view of the ocean… hello!.. Hawaiian waters with its varying hues of turquoise in every direction. As I sip my coffee every morning, there’s nothing more relaxing than staring at that magnificence. You also get a great view of the 2 islands nearby, Lanai on the left and Molokai on the right. It’s a perfect place to swim and snorkel you don’t have to drive anywhere. Turtles were passing by us as we snorkeled, how awesome is that 😍. Every night, we got a great view of the sunset. The place is very clean and has about everything we needed in a kitchen. Enjoy dining ocean front throughout the day and night there’s no better ambience 😊. We will definitely be back and will stay nowhere else but here ❤️

This place is truly a gem. This was our third time on Maui and this has got to be the best place that we have stayed and hope to stay at in future visits. Having direct access to what feels like a pseudo-private beach (though all beaches are public) that is swimmable at all times was the best thing. We appreciated not having to pack/lug anything to the beach and could just retreat to the condo to eat or take a nap in between swims. It offered us a truly relaxing experience. Communication with Filipp was quick, check-in/check-out was easy and the unit is clean and comfortable. No A/C but there was no need when you can feel the island breeze throughout the unit at all times. You will not regret staying at this place.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The views from the condo can’t be beat, the condo itself was very clean and comfortable, had everything you could possibly want on a beach vacation, and the town of Honokowai itself was super cute! The condo is even better than what’s shown in the pics and the whole experience at the Pikake was amazing. We enjoyed meeting a few neighbors and listening to the daily conch shell ceremony at sunset. Thank you Filipp!! Life batteries are recharged, in large part due to the condo being a wonderful respite after our daily Maui adventures!

The Pikake is a small 12 unit, all ocean facing condo building. This 2nd floor corner unit is perfect. Lots of windows on the side to allow light in so you don’t feel like your in dark hallway. A highlight is furniture is comfortable. Not the usual cane style you find in most places.
Whale and turtle watching from the balcony made for great happy hours.
Small beach just 30 feet away to swim and snorkel. Lots of turtles at the reef.

Pictures of this place are great but just scratch the surface of the wow factor. The unit is very clean, comfortable, and the location cannot be beat. Most amazing and relaxing vrbo ever! The beach is just steps away. The owners are so welcoming compared to others. It was so sweet of them to provide binoculars so we could watch the whales from the lanai. Everything is as pictured or better! You can't go wrong with this vrbo. Charming beach front condo with amazing views. Views include scenic skylines, multiple wildlife, and calming waves from the lanai or on the beach. Condo was very clean and had everything we needed during our stay. Walking distance to groceries and food. We’re already making plans to come back next year and make this an annual tradition.

This place was unreal! The sweeping panoramic views of the ocean, access to kid friendly beach honokowai park next door, local food spots and away from the bustle of front street but close enough to drive to if need be. I love the thought put into everything that would be helpful with our little one that made our family feel welcome (ie. Board games, floats, sand toys, kid specific cutlery and dishware. We saw turtles in the water everyday and our last night one even came into shore as the sun set on the horizon. I have stayed at some nearby condos before but this one beats the rest! We will be back!

The ocean is like 20 yards away, so we slept like logs to the sound of the waves, ate on the balcony while looking at rainbows in the mornings and at gorgeous sunset in the evenings. We weren't much inside during the day, so I don't know how hot it gets, but we never felt like we needed the a/c because of the breeze.
Other than that, we had an issue with the electronic lock the first night. I texted Filipp in the evening, and he responded within 5 minutes. The next morning, he sent a repair person to fix the lock. So if there is something (reasonable) that you need, I think you can count on Filipp to accommodate you.

From the moment we were setting up our booking and Filipp gave us tons of recommendations to the moment we checked out, Filipp was the definition of a super host. He checked in with us periodically to make sure everything was going great, and when our door code was malfunctioning, we were able to reach him and get a solution in under 5 minutes. The place was beautiful with a private beach area, which was incredibly relaxing and we started and ended each day with the sound of the ocean all around us. There were tons of little touches that made our stay so much easier and nicer as well. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and would gladly recommend it to everyone we know.

It's a really great apartment!
All you need in your vacation stay. 1. Cleanliness - the apartment is clean, tidy, and spacious. 2. Proximity to everything - 5-7min to many of the island’s best snorkeling, swimming, and surfing locations. 3. Communication - the owner Filipp was quick to respond to all of our questions and comments.
They went above and beyond to equip the apartment with everything you need at home and more. Furthermore, they provided great advise and impeccable recommendations for water activities, hiking, great food spots for our foodies.
At the end of the day, there isn’t a need to go anywhere since apartment comes with a breathtaking view, especially for the sunset, and a private beach where you can swim, snorkel, enjoy the view, and relax.
We could even see the turtles swimming by. You can hear the sound of the ocean from every room. And nothing beats eating the dinner with the family on the condo’s balcony while watching the sunset.
We will be back for sure!

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful. The home is exactly as listed and the views from the lanai were perfect. We could see the turtles come and go all day from the lanai or while snorkeling out front. The condo was well stocked for cooking in, and close to Lahaina for going out. We hope to return again for our next trip because we just loved everything.
Filipp was also a gracious host and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this rental!

This place was just perfect for me and my boyfriend! We stayed here for a little over a week and there was more that enough space for us. We had a wonder time at Gitels place. Filipp checked in with us and ensured everything was going well throughout the stay. We enjoyed snorkeling right off the beach as well as down at Honolua Bay and Black Rock. We took a short trip over to Kihei and Wailea and visited Big Beach and ate at the local spots like Kimo’s and Ululani’s. We love Maui and enjoyed our stay at The Pikake, we will be back!!!
