We loved our stay. The second floor unit offered just the right amount of privacy with a view. The unit is well maintained and clean. The western view is great for morning coffee and sunsets. The pictures and descriptions are totally accurate. Nothing is very far on Maui and this Kehei location is perfect. Wish we had stayed longer.

A fantastic place to stay for a couple, and I will recommend this location to anyone. The whole home was clean, with all updated furnishings. The bed was very comfortable and I never woke up feeling groggy or achy. All linens smelled clean and felt crisp. Both kitchen and bathroom had plenty of supplies that made it feel like a home away from home. Cooking in the kitchen was a dream and had all the basics (and more) that I never felt like I needed to resource a solution. The updated tech allows you to connect any streaming service to the TV. Patio was gorgeous and the view is incredible. If you are an avid pickleball player, this would be a hot spot for competitive and fun play (did not play myself). The amenities of the grounds were super nice as well - pool and hot tub were clean and spacious enough that it never felt crowded or anyone was on top of one another. Plenty of outdoor grills if you wanted to cookout, and even an outdoor kitchen and bathrooms if you just wanted to have a pool day and never go inside. Neighborhood felt safe and conveniently located north of shops for food and supplies. Walked to Kihei on our first day, which wasn't long, although may feel a little weird walking along road (no sidewalks). But traffic on S Kihei Rd drove slow enough that it didn't feel unsafe walking to or from town. This will be our dedicated homestay anytime we plan future trips to Maui! This is our second time staying in this unit owned by Jen. We came back for the amazing location, accommodations and sunsets! This condo is located near the main parts of Kehei but private enough for a quiet, peaceful, relaxing stay. Owners have all for comforts of home, beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, pickleball equipment and more. Kitchen has everything you need and is updated and very pleasant to use. Parking is close and easy too. We had to re-book trip last minute and Jen was very accommodating and understanding of our medical emergency that forced us to change our dates. She made it easy, we even added 3 additional nights!! We will definitely be coming back again!!

This place is in a great location to stay on Maui. Kihei is not as touristy as Lahina and is central enough to get everywhere in 30 minutes. The room is perfectly furnished with everything you will need for your stay, plus the beach items.
Jennifer was great to communicate with and responsive. She provided all the needed information ahead of time for getting into the place and all the access, parking, pool etc information. I would stay here again if/when I come back and will recommend her place to friends.

We had a amazing time at Luana Kai! We have stayed in many vrbo's and this has THE best stocked condo we have ever stayed in. They have thought of everything including beach gear and plenty of towels. The location is great. The pickleballers aren't allowed to start until after 8am and they are fun to watch. The sunsets and whale watching are fantastic while sitting on the lanai. Communication was great and it is easy to come and go with a code (no keys to lug around!). We will be back!

After reading previous reviews we decided to request to stay. Well after arriving we could see why others were so happy to have stay at this property. Jen was great to work with everything is marked for you. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your "Happy Place". It was a great place to stay and highly recommend it if you want the beach right there, with the sunset every night and yes even the odd rainbow once in awhile. Mahalo to you both.

This place had absolutely everything you could ever need, truly felt like home away from home. The location is fantastic, delicious restaurants and beautiful beaches just a quick drive away. We enjoyed our 10 day stay at the condo. It was exactly as listed and had the best equipped kitchen of all of our VRBO stays over the years. We enjoyed both morning coffee and evening Mai Tais with great sunset views on the lanai. The pickleballl courts referred to in another review were not an issue for us - the players cannot start before 8 and while busy during the morning they thinned out over the day.
We would definitely stay at this condo again if in Maui and would recommend it to others.

This place is perfect! The longer we stayed the more we realized how well this place is dialed in and the owners have thought of everything that you will need for a great vacation. We found the location to be perfect, we enjoyed the smaller feel that this complex has because we do not care for the huge resorts. Communication with the owner was great and the entire process was seamless. This is the first VRBO experience and hope to be back.

We have been staying in VRBO units for nearly twenty years and this unit has to be one of the best we have rented. One of the reasons we like staying in VRBO units is the freedom to prepare meals and not have to go out all the time. We were amazed at all this kitchen had to offer.
Not only was the kitchen so well equipped, but beach gear, binoculars and basic office supplies were in the workspaces. The owner was so quick and gracious in responding to an issue ( nothing to do with the unit but a parking pass) when we contacted her. I would give this unit six stars if I could!

First, the easy part. Condo was great. Clean, design, furniture. Everything you could possibly need. It was perfect as well as Jen being so accommodating. Now, the reason we will not stay there again (but, let me preface this by saying evidently no one else mentioned this in reviews so maybe just us.) In the pics you see the beautiful lawn which is looking west not straight out from the deck. This whole grassy area is a 20 acre public park. If you look straight out from the deck towards the ocean about 40-50 yards from the deck is 8 pickle ball courts and 2 tennis courts ( 32 people playing at all times) They are beyond full with overflow from 6:59 in the AM until dark evidently every day per the participants. The enthusiasm of the players, which is substantial, at any given time as there were 40 - 60 people was not so bad, it is the constant pong, thwack, pong thwack, pong thwack of the game. For us, it made it impossible to sit on the deck in the am with coffee or evening glass of wine. We had to keep the door closed! So sad as we rented this to have front row ocean view and instead we had front row pickle ball view with the ocean behind. We have spent a month every year in Maui for many years and never, ever use A/C and did not on this visit but it is there if you also need to close the doors. Again, many reviews love this location but we prefer a more peaceful setting. Thank you Jen for being so gracious and we are very sorry this did not work out for us.

A great place to see the Maui sunset, Jen and Jason have done a great job setting their vacation home up for guests. We enjoyed the space, and it was as advertised! It’s great especially if you are staying more than just a couple of days. The kitchen and laundry facilities were really helpful and the space felt like we could have done some remote work there for sure! The bed wasn’t to our taste which made sleep difficult, but on the whole, we’d be back!

MY husband and I really enjoyed our stay here! The apartment was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. We loved using the binoculars and saw whales one morning from the balcony! The host was wonderful and communication was great and easy. Very central location.
Not great swimming right in front of the property so we drove to other swimming areas. Also we left the windows open at night to get the nice breeze but sound travels a lot in these apartments and the noise of other visitors woke us up in the mornings. Recommend keeping them closed at night!
Overall, if you are looking for a place to stay in Kihei this spot is lovely!

This condo was great! Incredibly clean and tidy - with so many things for you to use for the beach and activities. they provided beach chairs, umbrella, tennis and pickle ball gear, plenty of towels. The view from the balcony was gorgeous - beautiful sunset views right over the ocean. Access to the hot tub and pool was a bonus. Would stay again!

Your place was terrific! It is very convenient for all the places we want to go,easy to get in and out of. It was fabulous that we could have our morning strolls on the beach, walk to the pool, enjoy the hot tub.
Your little bonuses just right too. Like when we got back from the grocery store and my husband says you didn’t buy sandwich bags for our picnic lunches. I opened a drawer and there they were. Thank you so much!
What could you done more I don’t know. There was a Hawaiian bird book and other books of information, binoculars, beach chairs and towels…

So glad we stayed here!Everything about the condo was wonderful. The condo is absolutely beautiful. It has top quality cabinets, countertops, lots of lights, ceiling fans in every room, and a beautiful tile shower. The kitchen has everything and more if you want to cook and eat in. You can watch the stunning sunsets right from the balcony. Parking was easy and we always could find a spot close to the building. Everyone there was so friendly. We loved the beach. There were so few people on it, we felt like it was our own private beach. The condo had everything we needed to enjoy the beach - chairs, umbrella, cooler and play toys - which was so helpful. Wonderful restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops, and shopping are all in close proximity. Everything you need is right there. And if you love pickle ball, you would be in the right place. Thank you for sharing this piece of paradise with us.

I can’t say enough great things about this property, the hosts, the entire process and stay. Firstly, Jennifer and Jason are amazing hosts. They answered any questions we had prior to booking and reached out to us after we booked as well. They also kept us abreast of all the local Covid travel updates which was very helpful. The apartment itself was sooo amazing. Normally at the end of a trip I’m ready to go home and sleep in my own bed but at the end of this trip I was sad to leave. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we would have in our own kitchen. We made breakfast every morning and enjoyed it on the patio which had the most stunning beach and mountain views. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment also had beach equipment which we made use of. Speaking of the beach, the property is on the beach so it was only a 2 minute walk to the beach and we enjoyed watching the beautiful sunset each evening. The property is also walking distance to a shopping center that includes great restaurants but our favorite was Coconuts- the fish tacos are amazing. All in all it was a great experience and when we return to Maui we will try to stay in this apartment again and will keep our fingers crossed that it’s available.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The beach was never packed with people, there was always a spot for us at the pool, and lots of parking spots available during Hawaii’s busy season. Great location. It’s away from the major resort areas that were super crowded, but very close to a lot of great restaurants, grocery stores, etc. The unit was very clean, had everything we needed, and was the perfect size for two people.

This was a lovely place to have our honeymoon. It's close to shops and restaurants but not too close where you hear lots of noise. The condo is updated and clean. It has every amenity you could think of! I'm the typical type A person that is always overly prepared and there was so much that I didn't even need to bring. The condo came with everything we could possibly need for outdoor activities, beach/pool days, excursions, cooking, laundry, etc. I've never stayed at a place that was so well stocked! The bed was comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was great, and the living area was the perfect hang out space when you wanted to get out of the sun. The view from the lanai is beautiful and the pictures don't do it justice! Jen was incredibly quick to respond and very helpful and accommodating! Our flight was delayed and she was able to work it out for us to stay later so we weren't wandering around town with all of our luggage. I've traveled a lot and this is honestly the best VRBO I've stayed at and I highly recommend it.
