It is better than the pictures, which I did not think was possible. Words cannot describe the Lanai and the view from it. We spent hours out there everyday.
It is a quick walk (~3-5 min) to the beach.
The condo is well stocked and has everything you could need. The host is very communicative and answered all of our questions and offered recommendations.

We initially planned to stay at a large resort in Ka’anapali; however, this spacious condo offered a more stunning ocean view, a fully stocked kitchen and laundry that worked out better for our family, comfortable beds, a huge lanai, and a better beach! Everyday we walked down to the waters of Uloa Beach and literally swam with sea turtles. The Wailea Elua complex where this condo is situated is well-maintained with beautiful tropical landscaping that is cared for by hand (no power tools means no noise!) and is a haven to countless geckos and beautiful sounding birds that our children loved.
Because this part of Wailea offers a boardwalk along the water, we took incredible family pictures at sunset every night. The Wailea Beach Resort is right next door and has a giant rope swing for the kids and an incredible restaurant: Humble Market Kitchen (with a three course kids menu.) The nearby Shops at Wailea have numerous stores and restaurants that our daughters ages 6 and 8 loved (see list below.) Al is genuinely nice to work with and he has an incredible condo on what is actually a newer and nicer part of Maui than what we were anticipating.

While those in Lahaina suffered catastrophe, we played on the beach and relaxed with our children and grandchildren. It was surreal to be so close to devastation. Al, the owner, is amazing. When our plane was delayed, he allowed us an extra night without charge. A few kinks were resolved immediately. The place is lovely and the owner is a totally responsive and accommodating.

We are a family of 5. We loved the experience at Wailea Elua. For starters, the property is an ideal location, situated between the Marriot and Andaz. It’s was walking distance to many of the great restaurants as well as the shops at Wailea. Being a golfer, we could also walk to The Blue Course at Wailea, the best of the three. There was a beautiful walking path with ocean views between the Fairmont on the South end and the Andaz on the North. The path could be accessed right from the pool at Wailea Elua. The condo unit was spotless and well appointed. Think beach chairs, a cooler, and even a blender. We were very comfortable. The best part of the unit is the balcony for sunrise and sunset. Being on the 2nd floor, and also at the highest end of the property gave this unit the best views! The pictures don’t even do justice! We can’t wait to return!

This was our first time to Maui but not our first time to Hawaii. The property is beautifully renovated and the close proximity to the beach was a must for us. There’s a pool right by the beach which allowed us to go back and forth as much as we wanted. The view is gorgeous! The home was very comfortable with beach chairs and boogie boards provided. It had all the comforts of home. My kids throughly enjoyed it. Al and his team were super communicative which I very much appreciated. The condo is conveniently located in Wailea in between the Andaz and the Wailea beach resort. It’s also super close to Kihei. We loved our stay here! We will be recommending to friends who are looking for a place to stay in Maui.

Perfect place for our family vacation.
Great location with access to the beach and beach pathway to area resorts. All the amenities of home with a hotel/ resort feel. Very easy access and parking in a secure gated community. Condo was very clean and nicely decorated. well stocked with towels, linens, beach gear, dishes and full size modern appliances. Highly recommend this property.

We had such a great time in Wailea. The condo and the grounds are absolutely beautiful. The beach is just a short walk away and the snorkeling right off the shore is wonderful. We saw a ton of fish and swam with the sea turtles. Such a cool experience! I loved the close proximity of the stores, restaurants, and bars. Everything within walking distance. Al was a great host and very communicative. We would love to stay here again!

I'll be honest - when I saw all of the glowing reviews for this condo, I was skeptical that it could be that good. Turns out it was better. The location in Wailea is perfect - close enough to the beach, Wailea beach walkway, shopping and the rest of Maui, but set back enough to be private and above the fray. We walked each morning along the beach walk, past the resorts and thanked ourselves for not staying in one of the hotels. It was great to have the space, the well-equipped kitchen and that view! It made for a perfect home base for our Maui excursions.
The condo is very well-appointed and updated with modern appliances and furniture. And as some of the other reviewers point out, Al could not have been a more accommodating host. He was attentive and informative, checking in prior to and during our trip and he gave us some great insider tips on local eats and attractions.
The Elua beach is just a few minutes walk from the condo and is frankly one of the best beaches in Maui (shhh!). We also spent some time at the pool and it was never crowded. The surrounding area of Wailea is beautiful, and as much as we liked hitting the food trucks & poke in Kihei and the liveliness and outer beaches of Lahaina and West Maui, it was always so quiet and beautiful to return to our oasis in Wailea.
Thanks Al - you have a great place and we hope to return! Five stars!

Al is a great host and everything about the condo and the community is really nice. We enjoyed the ocean view from lanai and an easy walk down to beach, pool, and walking paths along ocean. Location is great near shopos, golf, and many restaurants at the major hotels plus centrally located for day trips around Maui. Kitchen is stocked, pool great, and we never went to other beaches than right in front.

Wailea Elua is a beautiful property, our favorite to visit. And this was a beautifully appointed, clean condo with amazing views. Al the owner was accommodating and very responsive. An excellent host. The condo is close to the entrance for easy exit to walk to shops, but that does account for excess road noise and noise from the gate house especially at rush hour. That shouldn't be a deterrent but something to be aware of especially with jalousie windows. Regardless, a five star stay. Would definitely return.

We have stayed at many units at the Elua Village over the last 15 years, and this is one we would definitely return to. The place is bright, super clean and newly renovated with tasteful decor. The beds are very comfortable, nice bright walk-in closet and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking and even has good reusable containers to take lunch to the beach. Even though this unit is at the back of the complex, it has an amazing ocean view. Could use better beach stuff- we bought a better umbrella, two boogie boards, a large foldable cooler, and paddle game for the beach. We left all of this there and hopefully will be there for next guests. Mahalo:)

This condo is in a great location close to shopping, dining, and a nice beach. The views are incredible. The kitchen renovations were great, and the whole condo was beautiful. It was very modern as well as cozy. The master bedroom bed is the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Beautiful lanai, great pool on site, and the grounds were impeccable. Communication with Al was easy and he left some nice touches like fresh flowers and a gift on the counter. We are ready to make this place our Christmas tradition! Thank you!

Al was a wonderful host and communicated well and extremely fast when we had any questions. The property is in a gated community which was a big plus for us. The unit is close to the beach and the pools and beach access were perfect for our family of four. The inside of the home is stocked above and beyond what you typically see which was a bonus. The views from the lanai are stunning. There are two things I think could be improved. One- There are no a/c vents in the bathrooms and they warm up quickly after showers. Two- there is no pantry so we had to put all of our groceries on the counter which doesn't give much space for cooking. Overall, this is a great place to stay and we would highly recommend.

The condo has a magnificent view of the ocean and the lanai is amazing. My kids loved laying on the lanai in the morning as it was breezy & beautiful. The condo is fully stocked with appliances (full size washer/dryer, kitchen tools, coffee maker(s), giant TVs for movie nights...). The community is very close to shops (walking distance) including Island Gourmet Market which has everything, lots of prepared foods, grocery & beverages). We took advantage of the community pools, walking path along the beachfront and proximity to spas at Four Seasons and Grand Weilea). The locations is also excellent for travel to nearby Harbor for scuba and an awesome farmers market in Olowalu (says fruit stand... the selection of sauces, spices, salts, coffee's is fantastic). We also did the Road to Hanna - and stopped at the Botanical Gardens (amazing) and twin falls. NOTE: the Black Sand beach requires a reservation...:(. I must also compliment the Elua Village gate staff who are super friendly & knowledgeable about the island. All around A+ stay with fun, sun & adventure. And last but not least, Al was very easy to communicate with and takes great care of his guests. Thanks for a great time!

The condo is just as advertised. Newly remodeled. Nice tile work throughout the kitchen and bathrooms. It has a great view of the ocean and the lanai is not hit by the hot sun !
We have rented a lot of vacation rentals and this unit was the best as far as a stocked kitchen goes! Everything was new and there were enough plates, glasses and stainless so you didn’t have to run the dishwasher every day.
He also provides detergent for the washing machine. And plenty of paper products.
Al was very good about communicating before our arrival and wants his guests to enjoy their stay.
If I had any complaint it was that the mattress topper was too soft for our liking, but others might not be bothered by that. The unit is near the top of the complex so you will hear the road noise when outside and in the bedrooms, but it never affected our sleep because there isn’t much traffic at night. I do think the unit is fairly priced for where it’s situated on the property.
We love the Wailea area and could visit other beaches nearby or just walk down to Ulua beach which is very nice as well as the coastal walk for exercise.

We had a great time at this rental. It’s location is amazing. We walked to hotel restaurants, beautiful beach spots, the market and shops at Wailea. Unit 2002 is located close to the gated entrance. Birds are singing each morning. Neighbors were quiet. Plenty of parking close to the unit. It is upstairs. Ocean view from the lanai. The Elua property is well kept with gorgeous flowers. The pavilion has a nice sized pool right by the beach path with lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas. This rental has an open floor plan with updated appliances and furnishings. We were stunned at how well stocked the kitchen was. We ran the AC in the afternoon/evening only. Mornings were cool and comfortable with windows and sliding doors open. Ceiling fans work nicely in bedrooms. My husband, two boys (ages 10 and 15) and I cannot wait to return next February.

This is a perfect place for anyone to stay. It is steps to a gorgeous beach, close to shops, it feels secluded but it’s only 1/2 hour from the airport. Stunning landscaping and pools on the property. Elua Village is our usual spot year after year! This was our first time in this unit and it was spacious, updated and clean. Large bedrooms with large closets, covered lanai was great as we had a few rain days, beautiful island kitchen, close to beach and shopping and best of all the market at the Shop at Wailea! Al the owner responded quick to any requests. Very nice unit!!!

This property at the top of the hill in Wailea Elua offers great views of the ocean and mountains, easy walk downhill to the beach, pool and private grassy knoll with chaise lounges to read, watch the ocean and sunsets. The newly renovated condo has big screen tvs in every room, a fully equipped kitchen and gas barbecue on the porch, and once you are here, you don’t need to leave. A great place to enjoy Maui.

We had a wonderful week-long stay at Al's condo in Wailea Elua. His condo is super well-equipped and includes a ton of kitchen supplies, boogie boards and beach chairs/umbrellas, and two spacious bedrooms with two bathrooms. We loved sitting on the lanai -- it is on the side of the building that gets shade, which we loved because you can see the ocean but not be in the direct sunlight. The whole Elua complex is beautiful, with two pools, a hot tub, pickleball/tennis court, and a gorgeous beach which includes a private area only for Wailea Elua guests with beach chairs and covers. We will be back for sure!

Rarely does a beachfront property come with the cooking appliances (Kitchen Aid Mixer, Ninja blender) this one does with beautiful sunsets, gorgeous landscaping and a gated property. Beds were all very comfortable, and great to have backpack beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler, beach towels and a wonderful Lana’i. There are quiet hours on the property between 10 and 8 AM. Both pools are nice and the beach has great snorkeling - we even saw a turtle! Just lovely! You can easily walk to great restaurants and shopping. And Al is super responsive! Highly recommend!

My family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our vacation in Maui to celebrate a belated 2020 college graduation. Not only was the condo well taken care of it had lots of amenities such as a large patio, dining table, chez lounges to enjoy the amazing views of the Pacific Ocean, Lanai and the West Maui mountains. The kitchen was well stocked making it very easy to make homemade meals and enjoy more quality time together versus going out for every meal; much more relaxing! It was helpful to have the reverse osmosis filtered water system so that we didn’t have to buy bottle water. The Bose sound system worked out great to sync to my smartphone and listen to streaming music (e.g., Spotify’s “happy island music” is a nice option). The beach is terrific and we enjoyed using the provided beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers while we cooled off in either the pool or ocean. Just a 5-minute walk down the paved path, enjoying the gorgeous, well-manicured island landscaping along the way. It was much less stressful than waiting in line for pool chairs at the neighboring Marriott or Grand Wailea. The location is good proximity to shopping and the Island Gourmet Market (the fresh Poke’ is delicious). Al was very helpful and could be easily reached for answers to any and all questions related to his beautiful condo. We can’t wait to come back!

I have stayed in many rental properties around the US, this one was by far the best. Al the owner was very easy reach for questions I had prior to and during our stay and he was very helpful and friendly. The condo had a great layout, new appliances, TV’s and fantastic views from the living room and the lanai. The kitchen was loaded with up to date appliances and was as stocked as my home and with everything we needed to prepare meals. Had a Webber grill on lanai and some very comfortable outdoor furniture. Also Al had several beach chairs, beach towels and even a beach bag and cooler for our use. The owner thought of everything! The Beach and beach pool were fantastic and the grounds were beautiful!
I just can’t say enough about how awesome this place was. Oh forgot to mention the 65” tv in the family room. Thanks so much Al for providing all you did for our family vacation.
