The thing that we enjoyed the most about the condo was the close proximity to the beach to the watch the sunrise and sunset! It took less than 5 minutes to walk to the shoreline which followed a nice along trail. The location of the condo made it quick and easy to access several types of restaurants and stores, including a Safeway, ABC Store, and Starbucks.

The location was not very good for using the beach. The rocky shore was not a place for anyone unless very experienced swimmer. Sitting area for eating was too small for a party of 4. Everything else was fine.

We loved our stay! Donna was very responsive and even drove to drop off an iron and ironing board. The apartment has everything you need and more, a well equipped kitchen and all the beach things you would need. It’s very clean and was perfect for our 8 day stay. We loved catching the sunrise and sunset nearby everyday and found the chickens (all over the island) to be endearing. We also loved how central the apartment was to everything (beaches, restaurants, grocery stores) and didn’t mind driving to the south or north for the day! We highly recommend this place!

My family loved our stay here. We loved being able to quickly walk to the ocean for sunrise and after dinner sand castle building while enjoying the comforts of home. The condo had ample beach supplies which were convenient to have. The location made it convenient to go north or south or stay on the east depending on ocean conditions and weather. Highlights:
Well appointed space, great kitchen utensils/cutlery/plates for four, wonderful trail behind the complex, cool bedrooms from the portable AC units that provided great white noise, quiet complex, minimal noise from upstairs renters (two sets), extra bathroom really appreciated, tastefully decorated, owner was really accommodating towards our family and very responsive, laundry facilities worked well.

Donna was a great host, she communicated with us the whole time and stopped by to leave us more towels and delicious cookies. The house had all the amenities needed, even a barbecue! There were also beach towels, portable chairs and coolers to borrow. It was great to stay on the east of the island, as we were able to tour around the north and the south without having to drive for long.

A little isolated for my taste, how but perfectly located for touring the whole Island by car.
Very cool in the evening and not ideal if wind picks up.
As a summer let with warmer weather it would be ideal.
Wi Fi had issues initially, and response was a little slow, eventually remedied after a number of days.
The island itself was an interesting landscape and the network of roads allows easy access to any point of the island with a leisurely 40 min driver max.

Really close to alot of good restairants and an easy drive to both sides of the island as well as the airport. It was the perfect home base for our trip. We had everything we needed, including beach chairs and beach towels. The condo was neat and clean and Donna was super responsive to our questions and needs during our stay.

LOVED our stay here. Walkable to the beach for every sunrise and sunset. 30 minutes to Hanalei. 45 to the south shore since there is some construction. Walkable to Safeway for groceries. Great local restaurants and food trucks nearby. There’s also a Starbucks and McDonald’s within walking distance too if you’re into that. Will absolutely be back!

Kapaa is a nice central location to go north or south. Only drawback is the Kapaa crawl with traffic. Would certainly stay here again. Mahalo! 🤙🌺

Das Positive vorweg: die Lage der Unterkunft ist gut und das direkte Parken vor der Tür war von Vorteil. Das war es aber leider schon. Wir haben diese Unterkunft aufgrund der vielen positiven Bewertungen gebucht und können diese keinesfalls teilen. Die Unterkunft war einfach viel zu dreckig. Um nur ein paar Beispiele zu nennen: ein Großteil der Küchenausstattung war nicht sauber. Am schlimmsten waren aber die Klimageräte und Deckenventilatoren. Sie hatten so dicke Staubschichten, dass wir uns wirklich davor geekelt haben. Wir konnten dies an den Ventilatoren auch nur erkennen, da der Staub an den Seiten bereits herunterhing. Unter das Bett sollte man hier auch nicht schauen. Die Möbel sind abgewohnt und teilweise kaputt, keinesfalls neuwertig wie in der Beschreibung angegeben. Das Klima im Wohnraum ist meist sehr stickig und heiß. Lüften und der Ventilator sind nicht ausreichend.

We absolutely loved this property for our family if 4 (parents plus 2 teens). Check-in process was easy, the property was very clean, it was well stocked with beach towels/chairs/umbrellas, compact and complete kitchen with everything we needed (great blender for fresh fruit smoothies), and great location with only a short walk to the beach (ideal for sunrise viewing), and around the down the street from Safeway and Big Save. Donna was easy to communicate with. We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

The condo had everything we needed for our stay. The beach is less than half a block from the condo for morning and evening walks. The kitchen although small it is well equipped with everything you would need. We had 4 adults in the condo and were very comfortable. If the condo is available we will book it again on our next trip.

We were pleasantly surprised with the fun decor of the condo. The kitchen has all the things needed to cook or pack a picnic to go. The bedrooms both have AC and the key pad entry made it perfect for our crew if we got back to the condo at different times. We loved the location as we got to all sides of the island using it as our home base. And helpful for one of our friends coming in late and flying out early as it was so close to the airport.

The property has very nice decor - updated in a white/blue/chrome beachy glamor theme. No carpet, which I prefer. Very cute and cheerful kitchen, but also very functional - two blenders, a dishwasher, stove. Everything you need to make a meal - even had a peeler - and cute light blue theme.
Location is very convenient, although no ocean view - across from Safeway and within walking distance of nice restaurants.
Comfortable beds!!! We didn't spend a lot of time in the unit, but was so nice they provided beach towels, beach toys, beach folding chairs, and even cute blue rubber beach bags. Didn't get a chance to use the BBQ.
It can get a little warm in the living room, but with the windows and fans, it's bearable. The portable AC units in the bedrooms work pretty well, just keep the bedroom doors closed. They are a little noisy, but it's like white noise for the kids. I always bring ear plugs since I'm sensitive to noise, so it wasn't a problem for me either.
We didn't use the TVs, so no comment on that, but they look nice. Although it was a lower level unit, was not bothered by upstairs noise or neighbors in general.
Overall nice place, easy to book, easy to park, easy to find, very good value because it was a two bedroom (the extra half bath is really nice with a family).

We had a great time at this property! Great location, close to the ocean and shopping areas for last minute things, and the best restaurant right down the lane (The Bull Shed Restaurant). They did have air conditioning units in both rooms, but we didn’t use them much as we had nice weather. Free parking as well was great! Roosters crow in the morning every day, but that’s everywhere on the island and to be honest it didn’t bother us much. The bathroom/shower was really nice. Only thing I was say to be aware of is the main highway through Wailua can get very busy and traffic is backed up during certain hours (only 20 minutes to go through, where I’m from we can spend an hour in traffic so we didn’t mind). 10/10 would stay again!

Wonderful location, walkable to all of Kapa'a, which is one of the best spots to stay on Kauai. Owner was quickly responsive to messages, unit was clean/functional and as advertised, no complaints about our stay. Bring earplugs if the morning chickens are bothersome to you, but that's true of pretty much anywhere in Kauai.

When I had misunderstood the entry procedure the owner responded immediately and explained. This location is the perfect location- one can go left to drive up to top of the west side’s state park, to the waterfalls, to Poipu or turn right to Princeville, or the Kilauea Lighthouse bird watching. FYI visitors need to make reservations to stop here!! There are many things accessible to walking in Kapa’a. The neighborhood is very quiet at night so all you hear is the surf. We did the Kauai Backcountry Adventures tubing and zip lining that were great fun. They were just fifteen minutes away. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice place that is stuffed with everything you need for the beach and everyday stuff. We cooked a lot of our meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. We asked for extra bedding since my brother wanted to sleep on the couch in the living room and it was delivered to us in couple hours. So, we were well pleased. Just FYI, red beach umbrella is broken but the blue one is working great!

If you are looking for a centralized location on Kauai that has a well-appointed kitchen and has amenities nearby, this condo has what you need.
-The condo was very clean. It was well centralized on the east coast (strategized my stay here as it was my first time to Kauai), everything was a reasonable drive away.
-The kitchen is well appointed. If you like to cook on your vacation, the kitchen had everything you could possibly want to make great meals.
-The unit is close to a few shopping centers. Safeway is practically walkable (as mentioned in other reviews, there is a well-reviewed shaved ice place, a bakery, eateries, Starbuck if you need it…in the same center). Coconut Market is nearby for your souvenir needs.
-While saying the unit is centralized and near all these amenities, it is off the main street, so it doesn’t feel busy. Other tenants were very conscientious with sound/noise.
-The laundry at the condo was very nice to have (I got poured on during a morning walk along the beach on my departure day and the dryer save the day before my flight).
In saying this, bring quarters! They were out of quarters at Safeway. And while I was able to grab some at a nearby laundromat, I felt bad as the quarter machine is really for their patrons (but is a bind to get my wet clothes dried for packing).

The place was in a great location and we enjoyed the 5 minute walk down to the beach to watch the sunrise on the east side of the island. It does say in the listing that the portable AC units don't keep up to everyone's liking and we found that to be true. Two of them were not properly vented to the outside and we had to use the duct tape we found to cover some holes in the ducting that was causing the hot air to be blown back into the room. But once we got that fixed up, it wasn't bad at all! Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here for two weeks, and the property had much of what we wanted in a semi-long term rental:
-AC in each room
-overhead fans in each bedroom
-great natural cross breeze (so only used AC when it got bad)
-full kitchen (even came with a portable small cooler for beach days)
-clean bathrooms w/ plenty of bath AND beach towels
-walkability to a grocery store & great food spots (Kenji Burger, Wailua Shave Ice, and Saimin Dojo)
-easy going and fair property owners
This rental was great with quick access to a beach and the Kapa'a bike path. We took advantage of the bike path & often rode into the historic downtown for Matchaya dairy-free creamy soft serve or Pono poke and musubi. Great central location over all. A short drive to Poipu and a semi-short drive to Hanalei. Would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy condo. It's quite small, though that was not a surprise to us based on the plentiful and accurate listing photos. Based on the fact that there were two bedrooms with queens beds and a fold out couch, along with 1.5 baths, this place was a steal compared to more expensive properties!! Full kitchen with plenty of cookware and dishes made cooking for ourselves easy. We didn't spend much time in the condo due to adventuring each day, and its location central to the north and south coasts of the island was quite convenient. Free parking right in front of the unit! The one minor snafu we had was that the listing doesn't include the unit number, so we found this unit based on the aerial map in the listing along with some deductive reasoning. The listing also had an incorrect door code, although that issue was resolved quickly with a call to the owner. We'd happily stay here again.

I would definitely stay here again! The condo was beautiful and clean, and awesome location for getting to all the hikes and activities we wanted to do on the island! The only hiccup was the check in process, but our host had a family emergency and it seemed out of her hands. She made up for it by allowing us a late check out which we really appreciated!

We had a great time here. The unit itself is a bit dated, but everything worked well. The portable air conditioning units worked well and gave us a nice night's sleep though they are a bit loud. This is a good middle ground that we were able to explore the entire island from. There is a beach nearby for lounging but not great for swimming. There are a few restaurant options nearby as well as a Safeway which is very convenient. The neighborhood was very quiet and we didn't have any issues with neighbors.

We had a great stay in this condo. The place was clean and well stocked. I was hoping for more body boards since the 1 theh had was pretty worn for wear, however that little gripe isn't anything that would wreck the wonderful week. AC units in both bedrooms and living room kept the place cool and comfortable in the day and at night you can open the doors with screens only and get a great breeze through. I definitely would stay here again, the central location made it easy to cruise up to the north shore for the surfing or down to south shore for snorkeling. dont pass this place up, you cant beat the price and quality they offer here. Side note, parking is TERRIBLE everywhere on this island, not their fault though.

Cute place. Access to the beach not quite as easy as I had hoped (you have to go through another resort to get there). Kitchen well-equipped, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms. Living room furniture, sadly, is not very comfy but who comes to Kauai to stay in a condo all day? Easy access to grocery stores across the highway, and not too far from the bike/walking path along the ocean. Good location on the island for sight-seeing. All in all, we enjoyed our stay here.

The reason I do not like this unit, because the 2 bedrooms has a portable AC which was connected the way the air hose made so much heat escape to the rooms, the cooling part was not even able to make up for the heat what came from the air vent. The only room was enjoyable is the living room.
