Stayed for a few nights before going to the West side of the island. It’s a great condo in a great location with an amazing view! The only knock against it that is no one’s fault is that there isn’t laundry in the unit. There is laundry on site though. This unit has one heck of a view. Perfect for watching sunsets from the lanai.

We Aloha’d our stay at Kihei Surfside! Nice quiet spot on the beach - super snorkeling out the door with nice coral, fish and turtles! Excellent ocean and sunset view! We loved waking up to the birds (and rosters) early, but if you don’t bring some roster silencers with you ;) - overall incredible stay and we hope to be back!

The condos here have a great location, but I did not realize this unit has no dishwasher. This is not how I wanted to spend my vacation. There were no dishtowels for drying the dishes and there was only one hotpad.
This place needs a remodel. The pillows were flat and the pillow cases were stained with sweat.
It was missing some basics most places come with, like a bar of soap, foil, or a couple of baggies.

This was our 4th time staying at this condo, you simply can't beat the location.
The major thing that stands out with this unit in particular is the bed is absolutely crap. Its like sleeping on a pile of rolled up socks. 4th night we tried the pullout in the living room, was only marginally better.
Everything else about the unit was fine, nothing special.

We love our stay here. The condo has a very beautiful view especially at sunset. The lawn grass is large for my toddler to run around and burn some energy. She was so happy to find birds and roosters hanging around in the lawn. Gary also stocked the condo with some beach chairs, bocchi balls, and beach toys.
It is close to the downtown area of Kihei. We also went playing on the sand at the beach close by. We would love to come back one day!

Arrived in evening on Friday. Difficulty getting into condo as access code not working. Office apparently is only open 8am to 4pm, which we didn’t know about before arrival. Able to reach condo owner after a bit to get in n try to get parking permit, WiFi info , etc. Owner asked us to get assistance from office— apparently he didn’t know office hrs.
Once in unit… unit hot n muggy, cleaning cloths(dirty) on bedroom dresser , old papers from last rental on frig.. otherwise unit fairly cleaned. There is no A/C in unit yet.. construction going on.
When we went to open up unit to ventilate n cool off… pot smell from nearby room guest n their noise came in. ( though this can happen anywhere)
Noise from walkway outside was loud, especially when window open. We ended up sleeping on hide a bed in living room. Stayed only half visit as we had local friends nearby so stayed at their place.
Nice location n beautiful view, pool n grounds.

This is our second stay on Maui and first time at this condo. It was perfect for our stay. Gary was very responsive when I asked questions prior to our arrival. The condo was pretty clean when we arrived (a few things were the floors seemed dirty but I was able to sweep and swiffer with the cleaning items available and some of the dishes were still dirty from previous guests). The property was a bit outdated but seems to be in the process of getting renovated (the pool is new and beautiful, and they are excited about air conditioning coming soon). The roosters did wake me up the first morning but our portable sound machine and earbuds from the front desk helped me for the remaining part of our stay. Given some of those minor issues, I have to say the location of this property is absolutely perfect!!! It’s just between Kihei and Wailea so lots of dining and shopping within a short distance. And the beach is minutes walking distance from the condo which was perfect for our family. We spent the days at the beach and watched the evening sunsets from the beautiful lawn. I would recommend this condo and plan to stay again in the future.

It was a wonderful stay- the location and grounds are wonderful. The pool is great and kids loved running on huge grass lawn. Condo was clean and as promised and king bed comfy. The only downside was that the building doesnt have AC and it did get quite hot and humid inside.

This property’s location is great! Right on the water by Keawakapu beach with great snorkeling and beautiful beach. The pool on the property is nice too when the ocean is too rough. We played bocce on the lawn which was a lot of fun as well. Thanks for the amazing stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Kihei Surfside #309. The view from the condo is wonderful and we spent a lot of time enjoying the view especially the whales. We snorkeled at the beach nearby and saw lots of turtles. The location is quiet - no road noise and not much noise from people within the building. You are close to busier areas by car or walking, but the grounds and beach near the building are pleasant and relaxing. The unit had all the items we needed and was comfortable for two. The roosters woke us up the first night, but earplugs worked well. Laundry had plenty of washers and dryers and the property manager was very helpful. Glad we found this place.

The condo and property was very nice. I did not realize that the view from the lanai would be 50% construction, so that was a bummer. But the grounds were nice and I would definitely stay here again once the construction is complete.

We stayed 9 days at the Kihei Surfside and even though we couldn't use the property pool, which was under construction, we were able to spend our days at the resort next door and access the beach. Nice condo.
