Beautiful, quiet condo with absolutely stunning ocean views! We enjoyed watching the whales and the beautiful sunsets from either the balcony or the beautiful grassy area outside! It truly feels like a home away from home! Such a great location and everyone there was so friendly! Larry was very responsive and helpful with communication! We were concerned about going ahead and going because of the Kona storms but so glad we did!!! We’d definitely love to come stay here again!!!

Amazing location and spectacular views! It’s about as close as you can get to the beach without getting wet. Larry was an amazing host. He was very responsive and accommodating. I would highly recommend his place and we plan on coming back!

The AC was not working when we arrived. Repair people came 2 days later but did not fix it. When I complained, I was told that the AC was not installed until after I booked so I could not get a refund. But I did not find in the listing where it stated that there was no AC. I went back to look at the reviews and saw that the AC was installed in April and I did not book until June. Do not book this unit in the summer until you get confirmation that the AC units are working!

We stayed August of 2023, one day after the tragic fires. Over all we made the best of our stay, we enjoyed the condo and the lovely grounds. The condo came with all the amenities needed for a great time. The view is stunning and was the highlight of our stay.

We had a timeshare years ago in Kihei, so we knew were we wanted to stay on Maui, this property is beautiful, Beach and snorkeling right there, killer sunsets and a nice community of people who congregate at sunset.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Kihei Surfside. The sunsets, snorkelling, boogie boarding and BBQs made it a lovely stay.
Our host Carl quickly responded to a request for a smart TV remote and loaned his own personal smart TV remote - thank you so much!! Above and beyond what would be expected.
We did get the local rooster wake-ups in the night, but thought it added a bit of character, and were able to quickly get back to sleep.
The temperature was lovely with the fan and having the windows open to let the consistent trade-winds in.
The Kihei boat landing is less than 5 minutes walk away - made the Molikini early wake-up easy.
Would definitely stay there again.

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Kihei Surfside. The location was perfect. Room was as advertised. The sleeper sofa was a bit uncomfortable. I would suggest a more comfortable sleeper sofa. The main bed was very comfortable. Overall great stay!

This unit has an amazing view and is very well stocked. Overall it was clean upon arrival. My only issue was that the sheets for the main bed were bleach stained and a bit worn, and there weren’t any extras that fit the King bed. An extra set would be helpful here…or perhaps just a new set. The chickens in the parking lot were a bit loud in the early morning, but they didn’t bother me too much. Otherwise this was a great unit and we enjoyed our stay!

The location is as described, a walking distance to the beach. Beautiful views from the balcony and nearby great shops and restaurants. Office management is very communicative and helpful if you need anything. Only one inconvenience was that there was plumbing issues for three days in a row where we were asked not to use the water for several hours of the days. Office manager was very apologetic and communicative, but not being able to use the water to shower and get ready did cause some inconvenience. However, don’t think that this is a typical thing and hopefully doesn’t happen again!

Location is everything... this is the best. The views absolutely incredible. Close to everything and beautiful beaches to walk on. Loved being on the 5 th floor to watch whales, fishermen and passers by. Condo had all amenities necessary. Very private, couldn’t hear neighbors at all.

Very comfortable place. The lanai is a wonderful place to drink coffee in the morning. Walk along the beach to the sandy part a block away for some worthwhile snorkeling. Close to other beaches and restaurants. We really enjoyed staying here.

We love Kihei Surfside. No a/c allowed in the building but the trade winds usually make up for it. The building is smaller and more intimate. Views are amazing.

The apartment was very clean with great ocean view. We found almost everything needed in the apartment. We enjoyed walking beach side and simply relaxing. Its 20 min from airport which was very convenient too. We had a very nice experience.

The view was absolutely gorgeous! The condo was very clean and nicely appointed. The furnishings and decor were lovely. Great location and fantastic beach just a short path away. Loved seeing the turtles every morning from the lenai. Will absolutely stay again!

The condo was very comfortable; clean and well-supplied. The atmosphere at Kihei Surfside is relaxed and friendly.
If we return to Maui, we will definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Surfside. The view is spectacular and we were so thrilled to see turtles from the living room. The condo is extremely well appointed and was exactly as described. It is very close to a great beach and the walkway to Wailea. The pool was very nice and very warm! The condo was very clean and the property managers sent very timely emails regarding checking in and checking out procedures. We would definitely stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this condo.

This is a terrific unit, we would definitely stay again. The view is even better than the pictures, and dining on the lanai cannot be beat!
The condo is very well appointed for an extended stay. The property offers lots of conveniences and the grounds are pristine. The S. Kihei location is very convenient - it's a brief walk south to the beach and ~5 minute walk north to the boat ramp. Instructions for checkin/out and property rules were very clearly communicated, and the managers were responsive to any emails.
The unit does not have A/C but even on warm days the trade winds kept us cool and comfortable. The shower was high pressure & very modern (the handheld unit in the bath was not working but that was no problem for us).
All in all we had a wonderful stay and wish we could have been here longer.
