A Little About Your Stay
The Kapalua® Resort, located on the west side of Maui, is known to be one of the key premier resorts in the world. Whether celebrating a family reunion, or on a romantic retreat, you will find that no other location on Maui can provide the beauty and accommodations as can Kapalua®. With a “low impact” design, Kapalua® allows its visitors to truly relax, without all the crowds and endless lines.
This “Better-Than-Gold” remodeled, two bedroom, three bathroom town house, is the perfect place to call home while visiting Maui. The interior is simply elegant; but it is the unrivaled views that take the experience right over the top! Scenes from nearly any window capture the Pacific ocean, Kapalua's® coastline, and, the island of Molokai'.
Upon stepping onto your lanai, caressed by the soft trade winds, and anchored by the crash of waves below, there is the sense that you are in the very perfect spot and at this very perfect moment. Two extendable lounge chairs and a dining table with chairs provides more than enough room for everyone in your party to comfortably enjoy your outside living space.
On the first floor of the villa you will find a large living room that is truly the ultimate in island style luxury. With a pull-out sofa with a new mattress, love seat, coffee table, flat screen TV, AC and an additional, cozy seating area, you will discover that this villa's signature amenities simply cannot be improved upon. One of the highlights of this villa is the fact that you can open your sliding glass doors and let the outside in. Beautiful art work and rich interior design, so tastefully create an ambiance that will leave you feeling swept away.
The dining room is located just off the living room and features a raised table and chairs which comfortably seat up to six people. The unobstructed vistas from your dining room will have you feeling as though you are at a premium, ocean side restaurant – except, without the bill! During whale season you will not believe the dinner entertainment! The ocean is teaming with our most famous returning island visitor – the humpback whale.
Any gourmand will appreciate the details that went into designing this exquisite kitchen. With granite counter tops, farm kitchen sink, stainless steel appliances, TV and unrivaled ocean views, you may just re-consider booking that flight for home! A pull-up bar is connected to the kitchen, with three stools.
The kitchen features everything you will need to prepare your meal, from start to finish! Dishes, utensils, serving plates, stemware, small appliances and more, are all included. During your stay, if you find you need a little something extra, please do not hesitate to ask and we will be more than happy to provide it for you. A stove, oven, freezer/refrigerator, microwave and a dishwasher with disposal, are all included.
A remodeled, full bathroom sits off the family area and features a shower, and vanity with sink and granite counter tops. This is a wonderful addition for our guests, as it provides more room to get ready for the day, and, is perfect when having company over. A full washer and dryer are in the hallway, near the bathroom.
From the bathroom you will step into the first of your two bedrooms. Featuring a private entry, the bedroom has a king size bed, dresser drawers, AC, private lanai and a flat screen TV. The coastal artwork in this room beautifully link to the views just outside the window. With vistas of the dazzling blue Pacific Ocean and island of Molokai', you will find it difficult to pull yourself out of bed in the morning.
A large remodeled bathroom connects to this bedroom; it is truly an oasis all in its own. With two vanities with sinks, granite counter tops, oversized soaking tub and shower and a large closet, this bathroom is just as luxurious as it is tranquil.
Upstairs you will find a large master bedroom and bath, that are perhaps unlike anything you have experienced before. Upon entering your master bedroom, you will discover a beautiful retreat. A large king size bed, adorned with a romantic, flowing canopy; a flat screen TV, an AC, a seating area with pull-out sofa, a private lanai and prime ocean views, will combine to simply sweep you away.
Off the master bedroom, you will find your own private lanai that offers sensational ocean views, as well as those of the island of Molokai and the coastline. This is the perfect spot to grab a cup of Kona coffee early in the morning hours, and watch the sun rise over the West Maui Mountains.
The remodeled master bathroom sits just off the bedroom. The luxurious features of this bathroom are on par with that of a five-star spa. The focal point of this space is the raised oversized soaking tub that comfortably seats two. A large shower, with rain shower head and seating area, are custom built and even provide sunset views! Granite counter tops with two sinks, custom hardwood cabinets, oversized mirror and closet are also found in this bathroom.
This villa comes with reserved covered parking, free wireless password protected high speed internet, digital cable, discounted golf, starter supply of paper towels, soap/shampoos, laundry detergent and bath/beach towels, beach chairs and a cooler.
Our rates are all inclusive. There are no surprises upon check-out!
Late departures must be made at the time of booking for a fee of half a days rent.

We want to be part of Maui renewing itself. Tourism has to be central part of the economic picture for Maui. Seamless work with Kimberly and Terry arranging our initial reservations. Jess was quick to help us arrange to have supplies in our condo. And at our age, it makes a huge difference. Jess was very quick to deal with a plumbing problem. We could not ask for more.

Villa is very well stocked, plenty of necessary cleaning items, and toiletries. Proximity of pool. View from lanai. Immediate response to minor repair issues. Covered parking Tips on sources for advance groceries delivered to Villa. Beach towels, chairs, umbrella - very appreciated.

Thanks for a nice stay. FYI, a couple of the bathroom screens upstairs were torn allowing lots of critters to enter at night. Also, the lower slider screen on the sliding door was detached from its tension gasket, so the glass slider wad kept closed. Overall however a very nice place with great views and friendly staff. The team was hospitable.

The house was as advertised and we enjoyed our stay. The management company was very responsive, respectful and easy to deal with.
Very nice views. Great neighborhood. Close to a lot of attractions and restaurants. They made sure our privacy and property were protected during maintenance work was being done. A toilet seat broke and it was replaced the same day as soon as I reported it.

WOW!!!
We thought the place we stayed in the first time we were there was really nice... this one was really-really nice. Clean, comfortable, very roomy. We were there with out 20 yr old twins, they had a space and we had a space. The master suite was so nice and the views were spectacular. They were great... The reservation process was so easy. They responded to all our questions before we arrived. They made it a great vacation.
This was our second stay at the Ridge.It is such an awesome place, clean, access to everything. The staff is friendly, and so helpful, we will be back.

This property on the ridgeline over looking Kapalua Bay, Onelua Bay & Honokahua Bay is flat out stunning. The scenery is to die for with spectacular views of 3 beaches, 2 points & the West Maui Natural Reserve. In the morning you fully enjoy the sunrise & in the afternoon you partially enjoy the sunsets. To fully enjoy sunsets, Kapalua Bay & Onelua Bay are premier spots & minutes away. The Bay Golf Course is literally surrounding you & The Plantation Course is minutes away. The condo has a master suite upstairs which has its own private balcony & master bath. Plus, there is a nice sitting area with its own TV & fold out couch. The downstairs has a separate bedroom with another bathroom & two sinks, a nice shower & it's own balcony. The main living area is comfortable & casual with plenty of seating for 8+ guests. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of items to get us through the week. There was a Keurig, full size fridge, full stove/cooktop, microwave, & plenty of place settings & utensils. 4 bar stools belly up to the countertop, plus there is a hightop dining table for 4. There is also a nice size table off the main balcony for seating up 6 outside. The community has two pools with multiple BBQs & seating for all to enjoy. They are basic pools, but very clean & comfortable to enjoy a little break from the beach. BBQs were in great shape & very clean. There is a shuttle service to transport you between the beaches, tennis courts & condos. It was very easy to walk though.

First, the place is really great. Lots of space to relax, ceiling fans and AC. Complete kitchen. Multiple balconies. Towels (lots of them), cooler for the beach, umbrellas, tommy bahamas beach backpack chairs. Really all you could ask for. Very nice furnishings.
Second, the grounds. Manicured and gorgeous. Pool was really nice and a few steps away. Two gas grills there waiting to be used.
Three, the view! Man, the view is what you come for!
Note, the listing says three bedrooms. There are only two bedrooms. The main upstairs has a king bed and a sleeper sofa. The bedroom downstairs has a king bed, too. The living room has a sleeper sofa (maybe that counts as a third bedroom in VRBO parlance).
Fourth, one of the coolest features is you can call a shuttle to take you to the local beaches. Five minutes or less door to door to Kapalua Bay. This my friends (plus the view and the quality of the home) made the trip. Driving down and parking would be a hassle. The friendly shuttle is the icing on this cake.
The only items we noted that need to be addressed are no dresser in the main bedroom and a noisy AC unit in the same room. If those are addressed, this unit comes as close to perfection as one could ask.
Note, if you’re new to Maui, Kapalua is FAR from the airport, Hana and Kihei/Makena and some road construction makes the drive worse. But if you intend to stay in the Lahaina area or don’t mind driving, you can’t find better than this.
