We loved our stay at Candace’s place. The room was exactly as described and pictured. We had our little one with us traveling for the first time and she was able to provide me with a pac n play for him to make everyone’s stay comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

The location and the pool were both 5 stars. Kapaa is a great town to use as base camp to explore Kauai and it has many charms of its own. The unit had a few quirks like a bathroom door that wouldn't latch and soap dispenser that wouldn't work, but overall it was a fantastic accommodation. We would stay again.

The Waipouli Resort is an excellent property. Wonderful pool, location is central to all the Kauai sites. This condo was good for three people, and our teen enjoyed it too! Has lots of amenities! Ice chest, beach chairs, boogie boards, air mattress.
Only a few downsides. NO KNOCKING ANYONE. The unit is ground floor facing the main parking lot, so people can see in. Yep, close the blinds...but Id rather see the sky and trees. There is a huge tub in the primary bedrm, that im sure isnt used much, that I wished was a second shower. Lastly, the interior doors didnt close/lock, not a huge problem but something that could be fixed.
Kapaa is very close and many food options!

We booked this resort one day before leaving. The resort was 10-15 minutes from the airport. Check-in was a breeze - we were given a door code and walked right into the room. The room was spacious and clean. The bed and sofa bed were very comfortable to sleep in. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was nice to have 2 bathrooms (please note the door from the bathroom to master room didn’t lock but can be fixed). I love having a washer and dryer. We mostly used the pool and hot tub at night. The pool area was clean and recliners were always available. Make sure you pick up your towels before 6:00pm. It wasn’t technically a lazy river since tubes are not allowed, but I asked Candace before going so it wasn’t a surprise that we couldn’t use a tube. Still a nice pool. I liked that it was not crowded. The location is close to grocery stores and not too far from the downtown area of Kapaa. We aren’t strong swimmers so we did have to drive north (Hanalei) or south (Popui) for swimmable beaches, although Lydgate park is close by and swimmable. Even though the beach is not swimmable, there are beach recliners to relax and listen to the waves or walk along the beach. A few reviews mentioned a musty smell in the room, but I considered it a nostalgic scent of islands where many hotel rooms and even homes have this from the tropical moisture. I wouldn’t consider it to be an offensive smell at all. We really enjoyed our last minute trip and would stay at this resort again.

As always the overall property is well kept. You have everything at your fingertips. Pictures are exactly what you get. Overall the unit is clean.
But When we entered the unit there was an over powering smell of mold/mildew. We went and bought an air freshener to help with the smell while we were there.
Before checkout we had an issue with an overzealous cleaning crew….
I emailed the property manager when we left about the smell and cleaning crew and she quickly called (which I didn’t expect). She was incredibly nice and made sure they were addressing the issue asap.

The unit was incredibly clean, but had a HUGE musty odor. We purchased a candle and had it burning whenever we were in the condo. It helped tremendously. The unit itself, was lacking some cooking items - Pyrex mixing cups, blender, rice cooker. Great location!

As mentioned in the other reviews, there is a noticeable chemical smell when you enter the unit. Location is great but if you plan to cook at all, you’ll need to buy everything because they only provide salt and pepper. It was cheaper than getting a nice hotel and since we were out 99% of the day, it was a good deal for us.

My wife and I absolutely enjoyed our stay. Very clean and incredibly well stocked. Everything needed for a very relaxing stay on the Garden Isle. Our unit was very spacious with lots of draw and cabinet and closet space. The chest of drawers are even cedar lined. Shopping is convenient just across the street. The walls must be very well insulated as we never heard any noise from our neighbors. More than adequate free parking on site. Nice spots on the beach - no crowding. We even saw monk seals - a rare site watching them kiss each other. There's a wonderful steak house next door - the Bull Shed. My wife and I both highly recommend the Waipouli Beach Resort.

We had a fabulous time in the unit. When we checked in we noticed a smell and the property management worked with housekeeping and when we returned the problem had been resolved. Love having the washer and dryer in the unit.

The resort is great for kids. We traveled with our two year old and set up the pack and play in the bathroom. Love that there are two bathrooms to make this possible. Highly recommend this condo and resort In general.

is resort is conveniently located half-way between Princeville and Poipu where we normally like to visit. The condo unit is in a corner of the building on ground level. It was easily accessible from the parking lot and the pool area. The unit is well cared for and comfortable, including the bathroom and shower area! All essentials were provided, and in great condition. No check-in/out was required (loved this) with the condo reception. The host emailed all check-in/out details and door code well before our trip! The resort was also very quiet, I didn’t hear any noise what-so-ever during our entire stay! We will definitely book this unit again on our next vacation! Thanks to the host for helping to make our trip comfortable and stress free!

The Condo is gorgeous. The the whole property is beautiful. Pool is big, really fun for the kids, and they have plenty of chairs and umbrellas, so there is no need to get up at 6am to get a chair. In fact, there is a rule that you cant!! There are some rules that are kinda strict (no coolers, or tubes) but not a big deal. The restaurant on the property, Oasis, was VERY good.
The best thing is its location to all points on the island. Grocery store right across street, Kaapa'a center is only 5 minute drive, many shops restaurants and bars there.
Would highly recommend staying here!!

A relaxing serene environment with a beautiful lazy river pool and multiple spas. The resort provided grills for outdoor barbequing and has an onsite Spa offering facials and couples massage. The fitness room was well equipped and provided towels and water. Grocery shopping and local stores were directly across the street for the added convenience.

This condo was very spacious with plenty of room for the 3 of us. Very roomy kitchen with nice appliances. Also includes a Keurig coffee machine (and a drip machine), if you like pod coffee - definitely convenient. BBQ grills were available for use by the pool. The pool was a lot of fun. There were some boogie boards and chairs available to use at the beach. The unit also has 2 commodes which was also helpful. Being right across from the Safeway was also very convenient.
One drawback - being on the ground floor, some neighboring tenant would walk out their back sliding door right past this unit's glass door so we needed to keep the blinds shut to have some privacy.

We stayed at this beautiful property for a week. It was well equipped and clean. The kitchen was very nice! The pool was large and had lots of chairs. We took advantage of the free and very clean grills, located near pool. This resort is centered well on the island. Shopping center just across the street. The beach area is small, but we saw humpback whales every morning. Shout out to “Kauai Calls”. They answered my questions promptly and were very nice.

Beautiful suite, garden view, close to parking, Oasis restaurant is amazing - go for the live music Wed 3-5pm. Only downside is the traffic heading toward the airport, unless you time it with the additional lane. Safeway across the street for groceries is a bonus.

Easy check in to the condo. The condo was clean and I appreciated the cookware utensils, dishes and glassware provided as I cooked most days. We stayed 12 days.
The condo had a musty smell but opening the sliding doors helped air out the room.

This unit within the resort was very nice, comfortable, roomy and well equipped. Beautiful pool but it was too cold to swim in it. Nice to have Safeway across the street. Good location for exploring both south and north shores of Kauaia and beautiful sunrises.

This is our second time at Waipouli Beach Resort and we had a fabulous time! The condo was spotless, well maintained, with nice extras like a new set of Tommy Bahama back pack beach chairs and Boogie Boards! Central to everything in Kauai, the Waipouli Beach Resort in Kapaa makes a beautiful base to explore the island or just stay local! The location is quiet and has easy access to Safeway and Starbucks. Dine in or dine out as easy as walking to the Oasis restaurant on property! Sunrise on the beach each morning is always a magnificent place to start the day with coffee! The staff of Kauai Calls made everything about our stay easy and relaxing including providing a bunch of tips and guidance on the status of COVID-19 guidelines before we left. Mahalo nui loa to our hosts and we cannot wait till we see you again!

Loved everything! Perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids age 9 & 7. Comfy bed & pull out sleeper sofa. Ample stocked kitchen. Took daily advantage of 3 beach chairs, cooler & 2 large boogie boards. Everything was clean. Great app for check in & all resort info. Amazing resort pool & central to everything Kauai has to offer. Would definitely stay again!!!

Clean well maintained unit with very nice furnishings and a plus kitchen. Washer and dryer were large capacity models. The resort is great for families, the pool is terrific for children. Management was very accommodating. Will look to stay there on our next trip to Kauai.
