We had such a wonderful stay at Maui Hill J-113 that we added another night right on the spot! The panoramic view from the Lanai is absolutely breathtaking and we could not keep our eyes off the horizon as we watched whales leap and splash throughout our stay. We are long time Kihei regulars since the '90s and we've stayed at many locations - but this place is hands-down the best panoramic sunset view in town. The unit itself is nicely kept and simple, allowing guests to spread out. The main bathroom is large and welcoming after a day of beach and pool activities. The owners also have thoughtful little touches, like suggesting opening the kitchen window and the lanai doors and letting the Island Breeze flow through the unit. We very much enjoyed using the provided binoculars to watch the whales! And beach chairs came in very handy. But my goodness the VIEW! We will definitely be back!

We had a very comfortable, relaxing stay at Maui Hill J113. We stayed for a week in September and couldn’t have been happier. The beds were comfortable, unit updated, very clean and we loved the large 2 person shower in the primary bedroom. As well as, the large connecting lanai. Great proximity to everything in Kihei, and close to some great restaurants and beaches in Wailea. Just book it! You’ll have no regrets!

Let me just start by saying if you are looking for the perfect place to vacation in maui then your search is over. This place lived up to everything we hoped for and even more. The location is great, and easy to go to the market or any beach. Our favorite part was the patio mostly because of the amazing view and the beautiful landscape. In the morning it was nice to just open everything up the doors and windows to listen to all the birds and get the nice ocean breeze in. The inside is also very nice and really comfortable. I usually struggle with mattresses when I travel because I am very picky but the bed was very comfortable. The AC worked great and the kitchen was well stocked. They even had beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler for the beach. We look forward to coming back next year.

Condo was perfect for our family of three 10 day visit in Maui. Perfect location, very close to Wailea and the beaches in South Maui. Condo had all the amenities we needed - great kitchen, patio with view of the ocean and two bedrooms. As others mentioned the birds were loud in the morning but eventually got used to them. We could also hear the group in the condo above us but manageable. Our son loved the pool when taking a break from the beach and we enjoyed many games of shuffle boat. Having a washer/dryer was another big bonus. Would definitely book this condo again.

This was not our first Maui trip but it was our first visit to the hill and we will absolutely be back. The staff at Maui Hill was so accommodating, the location is phenomenal. Thoroughly enjoyed our morning walks, pool and beach time and the views from our balcony. The unit was immaculate, beautifully decorated and fully stocked with everything we needed 10/10

We spent a week in this great 2 bedroom condo. It was my husband and I with our daughter and her husband. It was great that we loved that there were king beds in both bedrooms, along with in room bathrooms. There were good pots. pans and dishes in the kitchen so we could actually cook at home.
The view was amazing, along with being close enough to town that we could walk in if we wanted to, but far enough away that you can leave without having to get stuck in bad traffic. Great location!

A great place to spend time with a bestie. We love this area of Kihei and this condo was a great find! It’s beautiful, we’ll furnished and the lanai was a great place to have coffee in the morning and a cocktail in the evening. It had everything we needed, nice beach chairs, a small cooler, and beach towels. The pool was nice and had shady areas if needed.
We loved waking to birdsong in the morning! We did notice the sound of footsteps from the upstairs neighbors, they were very early risers, but that might be the case in all first floor condos. All in all a fabulous week, we hope to stay there again in the future. Mahalo!

Beautifully decorated newly renovated space that felt so distinctively special and modern compared to other spaces we'd looked at. It was refreshing to come home to such a clean, modern, beautifully equipped space.
Breakfasts on the lanai were especially lovely with the picture perfect views straight out to the ocean and up on the hills. We appreciated how well appointed the kitchen was with so much useful and nice dishware and glassware.
Master bedroom and bath is luxurious and spacious with great design. Though the bathroom is beautiful, I fretted at no doors separating toilet from the rest of the space leaving no option for privacy. We were all family so it was ok, but something to keep in mind!
Neither the birds nor the upstairs neighbors bothered me. I heard them but but I'm used to noises coming from an apartment in NYC so it wasn't a big deal. I wore earplugs to blunt any noise based on reviews.
The location is perfectly located directly across the street from the beach that I'd read was best for whale watching and we did indeed get to see whales in the distance from the shore. Wonderful! Location was also very central and convenient to check out beaches, resorts, restaurants etc.
My mom raved that the condo made the stay, and I agree. It was a great place to come home to every night and we were sad to leave. Would definitely love to come back and stay if we are in Maui again! Thank you for a great stay.

Would definitely recommend this home to others! While this home is remodeled and larger than some and designed great we did spend most of our time outdoors on the lanai. It has great views of ocean and upcountry and is large to accommodate four adults easily. We always had sun or shade spots to relax in the morning or evenings. Location was great for us as it is a nice walk to shops and restaurants in Kihei. Close to beach and parks (and marina if you need to access to ocean). Home was spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. It is true there are birds as others have stated but they didn’t start talking until after we were up and we found them enjoyable to watch and listen to. Nature, flowers and animals are all part of the great experience the island of Maui offers. Great stay! Thank you!

This is the best vacation rental I’ve ever experienced and I’ve rented dozens. It had it all: aesthetic was bomb, location was amazing (easy walk to beach), the view was breathtaking, it was fully stocked, furniture was comfortable, the thoughtfulness and quality of the bathrooms and kitchen remodel was appreciated and felt. Really everything was thought of. We brought ear plugs because of the comments about birds but they didn’t affect us at all and we never used them. The last two nights the condo above us was occupied and you could definitely hear them clomping around into the night and early in the morning. Not a deal breaker but definitely glad we had three nights of quiet before that. It was very roomy and fit our family of four comfortably.

The only downside during our stay was - after it rained, the second bedroom sliding doors leaked with water. But the management company was able to provide additional towels.

Owners have made every possible attempt to make this place a beautiful rental. Unfortunately the ceiling is relatively low and wooden. As a result eternal ‘stomping’ from people living above was an irrigation!

We have always loved staying at Maui Hill where there is plentiful green space, a nice pool and Jacuzzi and proximity to the business area of Kihei and the beautiful park along the oceanfront.The remodel of the condo is very nice. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Bathrooms are updated, shower in master is huge. The lanai is large and has plenty of available seating with a dining table. The view is exactly as shown in the VRBO photos and the condo is conveniently located across the street from the office and pool. The management is very friendly and helpful. The kitchen was adequately supplied with the exception of having only 6 forks for 4 people. Rental management was to bring over some extras but never did. I don't prefer to hand wash dishes when on vacation or at home! No laundry detergent was provided in our Amenity Starter Pack. 4 beach chairs are provided (one was broken, which my husband was able to fix) along with soft sided "coolers" but no umbrellas. Fortunately we were able to borrow umbrellas from Maui Hill management. The biggest disappointment was not having any ice when we arrived at the condo at 8:30 p.m. after a long day of traveling. The ice machine in the refrigerator was broken (no ice cube trays provided) and it took a repairman 2 days to check it out and order a new part, which not arrive while we were there. Our stay was very nice overall with a few minor frustrations.

This condo’s Interior is even more beautiful in person. The view from the very large lanai is exceptional. It is very well stocked with everything you might need for heading to the beach (chairs, towels, cooler). The condo is located close to the shared pool and hot tub. It is also directly in front of the resort water fountain, so there is an added bonus of hearing the trickling water from the lanai and seeing the tiki torch flanes at night. We usually love hearing the sounds of the tropical birds while we are in Hawaii, but this unit is directly next to a very popular roosting tree with bird calls that are extremely loud half and hour just before sunrise and half an hour just before sunset. If you sleep in the large bedroom off of the lanai bring earplugs and download a sound machine app to your phone. This was the only way we were able to sleep past 6am. With that little bit of preparation you’ll really enjoy your stay in this beautiful place!

Great location and perfect condo for two couples! Spent the mornings on the lanai eating breakfast and watching all the whale spouts. Easy walk to the Kihei Boat Ramp to see the turtles resting on the beach in the afternoon. Quick drive to the beautiful beaches in Wailea and the Wailea Oceanfront Boardwalk and Hoapili Trails.

Pictures don’t do this property justice, especially the bathrooms (huge and new with double sinks and two shower heads.) Place was very clean and well-maintained with a lot of well thought out upgrades (Kohler sinks, all black stainless steel Samsung appliances, west elm beds, etc.) The decor and staging was designer worthy and everything felt very new and plush. Bedding was very comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and blankets. Well stocked kitchen and small capacity laundry was a nice addition. The view from the oversized and clean lanai is amazing. Parking was plentiful and free. We were a 3 minute drive from the middle of kihei and Wailea. I hate to give this place anything less than 5 stars but there are a few things to note that may bother you. For one, the bird noise other reviewers complained about is real. The birds are loud and can start calling at all hours of the day but are most notable at 4 am. We put pillows over our heads and that helped. Also, the walls and ceilings are paper thin. We heard every step, laugh, toilet flush, etc from the people upstairs. It was very loud and persisted all day. Not the owners fault, but something to note. Lastly, there’s no lighting on the lanai. Not a dealbreaker but my children often wanted to eat dinner out there and we were unable to. This is probably a property policy though. Overall I would recommend this property but be prepared for the extra noise (bring earplugs/ white noise machine perhaps?) Even with those noise concerns, my very picky wife would stay there again and that’s saying a lot.

Our experience was wonderful, the condo is walking distance from the beach and central to many wonderful restaurants. The condo was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is all updated, we were able to cook some great meals. The only downside is many birds flock to the tree just outside the window in the morning around 5 AM and again at sunset. They are very loud and may wake you up in the morning if you are a light sleeper. Otherwise, no complaints and highly recommend this rental

The photos and listing of the place were accurate. It was very spacious and the renovations were nice. Our group of 4 adults had a wonderful and comfortable stay here. We loved the large patio (which felt quite private), the large TV in the living room, the large master bathroom, the large kitchen, the A/C, and the personal laundry machines. Make sure to bring your own bath soaps and food supplies. There was an abundance of appliances and cooking utensils though. Beach chairs, towels, and mats were provided. The place is a bit of a walk down to the beaches but not bad at all, maybe like 10 min. Parking was easy. We would stay here again.

Checking in via the emailed the directions was very simple. Unit was furnished very nicely, especially the kitchen. AC is for whole unit and not individual rooms. Fans in bedrooms worked well. The bathrooms could be a highlight by themselves. The view is awesome. Location of unit on the end of the row provided an entire additional side for viewing pleasure. Highly recommend. Called property management only to check-out; they answered quickly and were very pleasant on the phone.
