Great property that's conveniently located in South Maui. Property is clean, spacious, and well ventilated. AC works well. Only complaint is that there is road noise, as the property is on South Kihei road. However, earplugs work well, and it's not the property's fault that people have motorcycles.

This condo was perfect for 4 adults. It’s a little dated but had everything we needed. AC worked great -Big plus because it was hot during our stay. It’s right off a busy road so you can hear the street traffic throughout the night, but no biggie for us. Washer and dryer in unit was nice, but they are small. Loads will need to be small. Overall we had a nice time and had no issues. Enjoyed our stay in Kihei!

The property mostly met our expectations. It's close to retail and restaurants in Kihei. It's centrally located on the island making driving distances to points of interest shorter. The client reviews were also beneficial. There were accurate about the condition of the property. It was fairly basic, though both showers could use a complete makeover. Cable TV was available, but a smart TV would have been better. I wish I had brought my own Roku or Fire Stick.

Loved our stay. The place was just as expected: clean and comfortable. The place is a little antiquated, but again, that was expected. The three of us had plenty of room, we all slept great. Location is close to beaches and supplies. The pool area we nice for some afternoon dipping and relaxation. We would totally stay here again.

The condo was dated but clean and ready at the time designated. The property was nice enough but the pool area would not allow any music (even at a low volume) and was closed at 6 pm every night.

Everything was great about out condo with the exception of the heavy street traffic most noticeable when we went to bed. I left a note about of couple of problems that I don't need to share again here as long as management gets the not. Mahalo

Nice property!
Improvements:
VRBO makes it difficult to see specially where the property is when renting. Perhaps I do not know where to find it when browsing.
While the place was nice and clean, a renovation in the bathrooms would be nice.
Overall a nice stay.

Very happy with this rental. Almost exactly like pictured. Check in very easy. Location was perfect for us. Everything was as described. Road out front was a little busy but not a problem for us.

First impressions of this property were okay. We had 2 kids, 4 adults. When we showed up the lockbox was left open, and the front door was cracked open. When we walked in the TV was on and all the lights were on. We had the kids and wives wait outside and us 2 guys went and cleared the house to make sure it was safe. As we were walking around we kept saying, "wow this place is perfect!" It didn't start falling apart until a couple hours into our stay once we unpacked and started really looking around.
Cleanliness: I took pictures, but there's not a place on here to attach them. The walls had little dirty handprints and smears all over them. The bed was really disturbing. The blankets and were brown around all the edges, the pillowcases smelled like the previous person, as if they hadn't been washed between guests. The beds were surprisingly nice and comfortable, the pillows however felt like sleeping on a rock. We ended up having to go to a nearby ross and buying all new blankets, pillows, and pillow cases.
Inconveniences:
Wifi was a big issue. The TV wouldn't load netflix. None of us could work on our laptops or phones connected to wifi. luckily there's good cell service here. We were able to get 5g and cast to the tv and hotspot to our laptops for working.
Another big issue is the noise level. This place is next to the busiest road in maui. There's always cars flying by, even very late at night. That wouldn't be too big of an issue if there were actual windows. Instead of windows this place has wood shutters that you turn to open and close. We tried all sorts of things to lower the noise level, but the shutters did nothing.
Even after all these issues, I still would have left 4 or 5 stars for this property had this next part not occurred.
THE POOL IS NOT OPERATIONAL. I feel like this needs to be in all caps. We contacted the property management team about this, and they basically said "We're sorry, Mahalo" Then they didn't reply to any more of my messages. Then I tried contacting Vrbo customer service, and they said "This property is managed by a big management team and you have to contact them, there's nothing we can do" This was a huge deal for us. The kids asked us every day if they could swim in the pool. The listing advertises a pool and hot tub. This was false advertising and we would not have booked this property had we known. This really ruined the trip. If the property management team ever reaches out to me, i'll update the rating.

We had my family of 6 with kids from 13-2. Everyone had a great time. It was close to the beach and in the middle of everything else. The kitchen had all the tools we needed for making meals. The beds were comfortable. The AC units in each room made the temperature comfortable.
This was a great place.

This property was clean and spacious, but the location was not ideal, being on a busy road. The small washer and dryer in the unit came in very handy. One negative note is regarding one of the beds in the loft - our friend slept in one of the beds and he said it was the hardest, most uncomfortable bed had ever tried to sleep in. A few days into our stay my husband went to investigate and they realized that the mattress may have been upside down. That next night our friend reported that the mattress was no better after flipping it.

It was an absolutely amazing stay. Thank you for providing such a perfect location. The beds were so comfy. Need to know what we’re the bedsheets so I can purchase them.

I was born and raised in Oahu and my husband and I have stayed in Kihei several times over the years. My two closest friends and I decided to book a girls trip to Kihei to work remotely for the week. Upon arriving the cleaning crew were still in the condo when we arrived 1/2 hour after our checkin time. 15 minutes after bumping into the cleaning crew a woman comes from upstairs startling all of us! She then informed us that the AC unit is broken and unusable. Two of us sleeping upstairs in 85 degree weather with little airflow made for a miserable week of sleep (especially for my Alaskan friend). Midweek two maintenance men attempted to enter the unit while a friend was in the shower and alone in the condo! We were never notified ahead of time of the maintenance visit and she was terrified when someone began to unlock the handle of the door. Luckily she made it to the door before they entered and by then was so worked up she was uncomfortable having them enter without anyone else home. The broken AC unit also had a very large birds nest where a bird was landing hard on the metal surface and blowing dust/feathers at the open window and directly on my bed that stood 2 feet from the window. The bottom of the upstairs bathroom shower curtain was covered in black mold from sticking to the tub. It was also pretty apparent that the neighbors of the unit were not friendly to VRBO renters. I was approached poolside by a man who aggressively accused me of parking in the wrong space (vehicle turned out to be maintenance crew) and a woman knocked on our door informing us of quiet time (two different times were listed in the condo book) and told us to “close our windows if you’re going to continue listening to Adele”. We spent far more time out of the condo than in. As kama’aina, I can honestly say the people living here do not live with aloha and in these particular condos are not welcoming to renters. Our visit turned out to be a nightmare with entitled neighbors constantly seeking me out at the pool or in the lot. I attempted to contact the property owners about all of these concerns and shared pictures with them, as I don’t like to leave poor reviews and would rather allow the opportunity for them to reach out and make it right, but I never heard back from my email or messages. It’s unfortunate because Kihei is truly a wonderful place to stay and have a relaxing vacation, unfortunately I’ll be booking elsewhere due to our experience. Mahalo & aloha

Check in which was frustrating since the lock to the condo was stripped, and we were unable to get into the condo with the key that was provided. Luckily, the condo manager's key got us into the condo, but we couldn't lock the door to the condo until the following day after the property management company sent workmen to replace the lock. Once a new lock was installed, all was well. We enjoyed our five days in the condo. We were provided all the necessities for a comfortable stay. The central location was convenient with supermarkets not too far away. There is a nice beach across the street with fairly calm waters making it a good beach for small children to play in. The beach was also a nice place for a walk in the early mornings and evenings as well. Don't hesitate to book this condo now that the lock works perfectly!

Good place. Nothing fancy, but good sleeping options for large group. We travelled with little kids ages 1-7. Location was close walking distance to no wake beach protected by rock wall. Easy walk to view turtles. Condo is close to road and traffic (which I think is just the case in Kihei). Overall great stay and description was accurate:)

This condo was very convenient for me and my boyfriend’s family. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, towels were provided, beach chairs, and umbrellas were also available for us to use. We were also surprised that the couch turns into a pull out bed, which was nice because everyone got to have their own bed. We also used the pool as well, which was very convenient and we were the only ones using it. I appreciate the hospitality that Maui Paradise Properties provided for us. I 100% recommend this place.
