When you first open the door at Mahana 1113, you are facing a wall of windows showcasing the panoramic views of endless waves and the islands of Lanai and Molokai in the distance. The Mahana at Kaanapali provides everything you need for your vacation in paradise. From the lanai you will often see turtles in the crystal-clear water, and from December through April watch humpback whales breach from the ocean. Use the binoculars to get a close up, unobstructed look at the sea life. You will feel like you are floating on top of the world.

BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to heavy surf, strong currents and tides. Due to Maui’s rural atmosphere you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them.
IMPORTANT: Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.

We were here a little over a week for our honeymoon! Our favorite parts of this stay were on the lanai- coffee, sunset, counting turtles- but we also loved the location of the Mahana, having all of the necessities (kitchen, laundry, etc.) of home, and having all the beach gear that we needed.

45th wedding anniversary and our third trip to Maui. Highly recommend this condo. The lanai was comfortable and the best part was enjoying a cup of coffee and listening to the waves. The whales were very active and fasinating to watch. Enjoyed every minutes.

We traveled the whole island and thought this area was best. Especially this property looking directly over the ocean. We were able to watch whales and sea turtles right from our deck on the 11th floor. We use the beach chairs and umbrella and enjoyed snorkeling all within walking distance. Would highly recommend!!

I am a teacher and my partner and I stayed here to start off my summer vacation. It was amazing! The view is out of this world, and the beach access, amenities, and access to shops and restaurants is fantastic. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars on everything was because the floor in the unit was a little dirty when we arrived. Also, there was one day when the internet providers showed up to change the router with no communication beforehand. We were in the middle of making breakfast and the internet people were there for at least an hour. There was also a lot of construction happening right outside the unit. We had a construction line right in front of the lanai, blocking the view for a few days, and it was quite noisy. The Vrbo listing DID say that there would be construction happening, so I wasn’t too upset because I knew ahead of time. My favorite thing was watching the turtles in the water from the lanai. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back again!

Third time at this property in four years. My wife and I LOVE this property. However the construction made it impossible to relax in our unit during the day. If we had known we could have made adjustments to our vacation. After speaking to the property manager I was told they would make this right. I have yet to hear from anyone. I’d like to go back the staff is great and location is perfect!

The property was perfect! Great location! Great balcony view! The pool was bit small, but never overly crowded. They did have construction going on which consist of jackhammering at 730am! That was a bit much, but also forced us to get up and moving!
Overall it was absolutely perfect for my husband and I. I would absolutely stay here again if the construction was over!

The Mahana has some of the best Ocean Front views from ALL of its units. Exactly what we wanted for Whale Watching. Viewing all of the human water sports was fun too. It exceeded our expectations!

Such a nicely decorated studio space. The kitchen and bathroom were well equipped and the views from the lanai were just amazing. Loved watching the whales during the day and listening to the ocean and admiring the stars in the evenings. Great location and easy access to the beach. Would highly recommend.

The condo looks exactly how it looks in the picture. It’s perfect for a couple . Loved everything about the condo. Amazing views of the whales and sunsets! We sat out on the balcony a lot and slept with the slider doors opened falling asleep to the crashing waves. We would recommend it 100% to anyone . Perfect location with grocery stores and coffee shops as well as great food trucks !

We had such an amazing time at this property. We stayed the third week of November and enjoyed the much needed getaway. The owners are so helpful and responsive! Given the pandemic was still a concern when we visited, we spent more time inside than normal (cooking meals, etc). We had all we needed in the kitchen. Also, we wanted to watch some DVD's-not something we usually do in Maui but we were indoors a bit more than normal. The room had a DVD player but not the correct cables. I texted the owner and they immediately began researching cables and had them installed within 18 hours. So helpful. I 100% recommend this space.
