The Whaler is a 2-minute walk to Whalers Village with fine dining, boutiques, bars, food court and luxury designer shops. Snorkeling by the famous Black Rock near the Sheraton is a 4 to 5-minute walk.

RESORT FEE: Guests pay directly to the Whaler at check-in $31+ tax a night which includes parking, internet, beach towel and chair service, gym, on-site washer/dryer and access to all other amenities.The resort fee is paid directly to the Whaler upon check-in.

BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to heavy surf, strong currents and tides. Due to Maui’s rural atmosphere you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them.

IMPORTANT: Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.

**We make no guarantee that properties adjacent to the Unit will be free from disturbances, including but not limited to noise or inconvenience from construction, traffic or other guests or neighbors. We loved every minute of our stay at the Whaler. Front desk staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Unit was immaculate and spacious and location unbeatable. On previous stays we have stayed at nearby hotels which are so expensive. We will never do that again. The Whaler is far better - especially for families. Thank you!

The interior of the unit was just great, but we didn't realize the balcony overlooked 3 large and busy restaurants - Hula Grill, Monkeypod and Leilani's - and it smelled like smoke/food except for very early morning or late at night. For us it made the balcony almost entire unusable, which was sad because the view was amazing.

This unit is stunning. It has been completely remodeled with up to date kitchen appliances and amenities. The bathroom is very large and easily accommodates 2 adults with plenty of space and storage. We have been staying at the Whaler over the course of the last 30 years and this is one of the nicest units we have stayed in. The property management team was great to work with and made sure we had everything we needed. The lanai and the corresponding view are spectacular. We could not have asked for much more and will look to stay in this unit again on future trips to paradise.

Everything was as advertised and the place was a pleasure to stay at. The thing to mention is that there were some bugs which is normal for Maui. Management gave us some bug spray. Aside from that the place was clean, convenient and you could hear and see the ocean.

The condo was very spacious and nicely decorated, perfect place to relax and enjoy the view & sound of the water! I chose this unit because it was remodeled and had modern, clean kitchen and bathroom. The unit was perfect as you see in the photos but I wish it was facing the courtyard because the generator(?) noise from the Whaler Village building was pretty loud. We didn't hear it when the windows were closed, only when we're in the balcony so it wasn't too bad. The location of course was great! The Whaler Village shops, restaurants and beach are within a min walk! Also everyone there were very friendly. We had a great stay!

This condo is beautifully decorated and equipped, with an updated kitchen and bath. And the views are amazing! We were treated to lots of whale sightings from both our lanai and the gorgeous beachside. The only downside is the unit’s proximity to the power plant of a business next door and an alley on which trucks can be heard beeping in reverse as they arrive and depart. But we mentally shut that out in favor of the sound of rolling waves crashing on the shore in front of us. All in all, a delightful place to be on Maui!

From the moment you check in, everything was just PERFECT! The view! The bed was more comforts than my own bed. The condo was stocked with anything we could need, down to a pineapple corer. It was clean. It felt great. This place is my new standard for any places I stay. What a trip!

This condo was beautiful, functional, large deck with ocean view, next door is Whaler's village with many restaurant options. I booked restaurants a month before and glad I did as there were very little options without prior rezo's. The only availability was after 8 pm and many long lines. With rezo's it was a breeze.

My husband and I loved this condo. It was updated and beautifully decorated. Lots of space for the two of us and well stocked. It would be tight if there were more than two adults. A couple kids would be fine on the sofa bed. He worked remotely in the mornings and I slept in so it was nice having the bedroom and bathroom all seperate from the living area. The view from the lanai was spectacular and we spent a lot of time out there. It was very close to shops and restaurants which was very nice also. The only very small nit picky thing is it would be nice to have an additional mirror not in the bathroom for when two people need to get ready at the same time. Overall we would stay there again and highly recommend it. Mahalo!

Great location on Kaanapali Beach. Fully stocked with everything you need to cook/grill and so nice having beach chairs , cooler and boogie boards for the beach. Beautiful grounds and quick walk to Black Rock for snorkeling.
