CONSTRUCTION NOTICE: The Mahana Resort has been under spalling construction for the past year. The construction has been completed for this building. However, spalling construction on the South Building has started and there could be construction noise during your stay.
Construction has been starting anywhere from 7am-5pm, Mon-Fri.
**The schedule will be affected by the actual conditions.
We are not sure how much disruption will occur. You can expect:
--Intermittent and possibly excessive noise.
--Possible limited access to the resort's amenities. There is no guarantee that you will have access to the resort amenities.
--The pool will be open when active construction is not in the vicinity. There is no guarantee that you will have pool access during your stay.
--Window washing has been suspended and views from the living area may be impacted.

A private gate from The Mahana provides easy access to the boardwalk that goes for miles and eventually leads to the Kaanapali Beach resort area. Take a short walk on the boardwalk or the beach to Duke’s restaurant next door or to one of the nearby resorts for fine dining and entertainment. Historic Lahaina town is only a short drive away.

**Safety and cleanliness procedures implemented may be adjusted in consideration of local practices, government requirements and guidance, and the situation where the condo is located.

BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to heavy surf, strong currents and tides. Due to Maui’s rural atmosphere you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them.

IMPORTANT: Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.

**We make no guarantee that properties adjacent to the Unit will be free from disturbances, including but not limited to noise or inconvenience from construction, traffic or other guests or neighbors. Any such disturbance shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.
