We stayed here as my friend and I qualified for the Ironman World Championships. The apartment was absolutely wonderful, having everything we needed from the kitchen utensils to beach kit!
It was very spacious and clean with beautiful furniture and plenty storage space in both rooms too. Loved the option of two dining tables - inside and in the garden room. Lovely view onto the lawn. Certainly would recommend. Thank you for making our stay so pleasurable.

Five star experience front to back. The property manager is amazing and personalizes her responses, and her support staff responds to texts and questions promptly. Condo is clean clean clean, quiet, and within walking distance of great snorkeling. Location is within a 30 minute drive of world class beaches to explore, and Kona is just 10 minutes to the north. One of the best vacation experiences I have had.

We had a wonderful stay in the condo. The grounds are well kept, pool is warm and the location was perfect for us. It's located away from the "city" action but it easy to get to. It's close to a fantastic snorkel spot.
We only gave a four star review because the cleanliness when we arrived was disappointing. There was quite a bit of dust in multiple places and the shower had hair left behind in it. That was our let down with our stay.
As far as communication with property manager, fantastic! Couldn't have been happier with her response time and kindness. We also appreciate that she was willing to forward our observations to the housekeeping for other future guests.
We would definitely come back. For us we really enjoyed the condo and what it provided for our Hawaiian stay.

The negatives -
Check-in process felt corporate. Charged ~20% extra since my kids (age 2 and 1) counted as “guests” and threatened to be charged more for wear and tear or extra cleaning. Even after I told them my kids would sleep with us it didn’t matter. Felt like I was being micro-managed and was reminded how many neighbors they have watching us (they said it nicer than this but this is what they meant).
Both showers not updated - perhaps 5-10 years. If it’s newer then just poorly managed. Water pressure not good (horrible for after a long day in sun and pool/beach). Water temperature not consistent and they need a plumber in there to fix. The shower door was rusty on the bottom and “fell apart” during our stay.
We found fire ants and a centipede. We live in Honolulu and have family in Big Island and understand pests/bugs really well here. Suggest they treat professionally.
The positives -
Location has pool on property that’s warm and great for families (depth starts at 1 foot)
Complex safe and well maintained overall. Easy parking even for multiple cars.
Even though ground level, able to adjust doors for safety and allow for air flow. Fans were strong and quiet. Kept fairly cool at night even without AC.
The space is large and comfortable. Kitchen well equipped and organized.

Fabulous place, exceeded all expectations! Perfect for quiet relaxing holidays. The foodies loved the recently- renovated kitchen, and the luxury of a second bathroom was welcome. The screened lanai with the table and chairs meant all meals were out next to nature. (Nature being a friendly cat, a curious chicken, and a variety of bird life.)
Amenities were first-rate, with consumables left by previous occupants very welcome. Something the foodies loved was the sharp knife set, rarely found in a rental.
Information was plentiful, including how to run the TV and cable, expectations of how to leave the place, and labels on various cabinets to remind us 'where the heck did we find that'.
A solid 6 thumbs up from the 3 of us!

So I think this is the perfect condo for a family. Easy access to the pool, incredible beach toys, plenty of things to play with both in and outside. I spent most of my time on the lanai listening to birds and reading. Huge amount of space everything is, of course, top notch and super high end. Having never been to the big island, I would say that this particular area is quite far from the giant large, sandy beaches where you can walk for a really long time. (They type common on other islands) As long as you know that ahead of time I think this is a fantastic place for the area. Super quiet, super peaceful. We stayed four nights on hill side first for all that wonderful rain and hiking and volcano, then did 6 nights here to just relax. Disappearing sands or Magic Sands Beach I think it was called as a nice small beach to go relax at. The absolute best thing about this property is the 10 minute walk to snorkeling. Some of the best in the world in terms of the variety of fish you can see and you just get a walk in without getting killed by waves.

This condo is close to great snorkeling and there's a free trolley available to get to any of the nearby shopping and restaurants you may want to go to. We didn't even rent a car for half our trip and were able to get to everything we wanted to before we got a car to see the rest of the island.

Beautiful property that backs up to a view of golf course. Amenities(well stocked kitchen), pool and tennis courts were a bonus as was the very close walk to an incredible beach view and nearby snorkel beach. Very nice place! AC would have been nice on the very hot nights, but fans were sufficient.

Property was very clean, well equipped, and spacious. The first impression exceeded my expectations based on the photos in this listing. Manager is very responsive.
Location is wonderful, just a 10 minute walk to the Kahalu'u Beach Park for snorkeling and easy access to the main roads.

We loved staying here, and loved how close it was to stores and restaurants. The condo was wonderful and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. We did get quite hot at times since we visited at the end of June, but we managed with the fans. Would definitely stay again.

The condo was AWESOME!! We have never had a better experience staying anywhere!! The condo included everything you could ever need in a vacation home. I will be back for sure!! We especially loved the screened in lanai as we could take advantage of the BBQ and stroll down and see the sunset. The kitchen was stocked, the beds were comfortable and the entire experience was one for the record books. The stay was excellent and close enough to Kona to be a quick Uber ride but far enough away to feel like you were a bit secluded. As a Midwest guy I was a bit concerned about no A/C but we opened all the windows, had the fans going and it got plenty cool. Would recommend and hope to be back.

The property is in a great location. It’s far enough away from the traffic of downtown Kona. Close enough to walk to Kahalu’u beach. If you are planning a manta ray night dive, Keahou Bay is 5 mins away. Throw a rock, you’ll hit a coffee plantation. You can swim in the pool, play tennis, ping pong or volleyball. Use the bbq grills to burn some steaks then take a stroll by the ocean at sunset. The unit itself is tastefully decorated and modern. The lanai is fully screened and is where we had dinner almost every night. It doesn’t have a/c, but we left all the windows open and the ocean breeze+all the ceiling fans kept it fresh and comfortable. Tip: the little blue cooler was extremely helpful when we were exploring the island. Fill it with beverages and ice before you leave for the day, you’re welcome. Washing machine/dryer was great to have also. Conclusion, we loved it! We hope you will too. Mahalo, hui hou malama pono!

The condo was clean well taken care of the host was on hand to address any issues we had . The beds were comfy. The condo was also well stocked with beach accessories, tennis and ping pong equipment, pool supplies, and cooking supplies. All we had to do is purchase food and beverages and have fun .

Arriving at this property is like arriving at your house, everything that you need is there from kitchen stuff to bathroom stuff. All well kept, clean, great location. Facilities great from the pool to the tennis courts. Quiet and well kept. The condominium has plenty of regular and beach towels even some food left from the previous rental in a good condition that worked for us. We will return to this place.

Overall the location and condo was very good. The condo was spacious, well furnished and comfortable. The booking agent, Sandy, was very friendly and easy to contact.
The reason I am giving the condo a 3 star rating is the onsite support person was not friendly or helpful at all. When we arrived the place was musty and the floors were sticky with lots of ants. When we called the person was condescending and told us we should keep the place clean even though we had just checked in. One of the bathroom sinks was backing up and I was told someone may come by to fix it, but no one came. We ended up not being able to use that sink. The place was not stocked with garbage bags or dish cleaning supplies and even after many calls, we did not get supplies and the local contact did not respond. We ended up purchasing items ourselves. This was not acceptable for a VRBO host.
