Situated in perhaps the nicest west facing location on the Kona Coast, this beautiful condo sits in the best building in the highly sought after Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club, a gated 15- acre estate complete with meticulously groomed tropical landscaping, 3 lighted championship tennis courts, a newly refurbished pool and pavilion area, and several historic archeological sites all for your enjoyment. There are numerous BBQ grills scattered about, outdoor eating areas, a grass volleyball court, and a designated parking spot just steps away.
Previously ranked #2 on TripAdvisor (behind the Four Seasons Resort) for vacation lodging in Kailua-Kona, the Resort is located on world famous Alii Dr. just a short oceanfront drive to the excitement of downtown but worlds away from the bustle of the city. The property is a relaxing 3-minute stroll to Kahalu'u Beach Park, a famous snorkel site known for its amazing fish life and abundant Honu (Green Sea Turtles) but also wonderful for surfing, paddle-boarding, or just plain “hanging loose”. There's also a secret beach located just north of the property easily found where you can enjoy the solitude and lapping waves. Great view and beach nearby. No A/C so warm during the day but cooler at night. Everything we needed to cook and do laundry. Nice attention to detail - shows they really care about guests and their comfort. Close to shopping and some restaurants. Enjoyed our stay!

In spite of a malfunction of the oven door (door lock wouldn't disengage, so door wouldn't close), we enjoyed the space, especially the large lanai. We had an unfortunate experience of being kept awake most of 2 nights by noisy neighbors directly below us who in spite of being asked to quiet down, did not. Because the unit was not managed by the same company as our unit, our only option would have been to call local police to complain, which we didn't want to deal with. So, just be aware that if you have discourteous neighbors, there may not be hands off solutions at your disposal. We were told there was no on-site property security staff for this property (Surf & Racquet Club). Otherwise, the unit was pretty typical for timeshare quality, but was missing simple niceties like a starter packet of coffee, salt & pepper, & bottled water (tap water tasted like mildew...yuk).
All such minor disappointments aside, the view and lanai were fantastic, and the complex was overall very quiet & peaceful...lovely!

Hubby and I stayed for 2 weeks. The condo is fabulous...everything you need for cooking and beach trips. The view is spectacular... Grocery store and a few good restaurants close and an ez drive to town. Great stay!

This lovely condo is a joy to inhabit. It is in perfect working order, clean, beautifully decorated, and very well appointed. And best of all the ocean view and fragrance from the lanai is soothing and rejuvenating for the soul!
