Nestled within the resort acreage of Mauna Lani, Kulalani is located on the leeward side of the Island, protected from winds and weather by the majestic Kohala Mountain range. This air-conditioned Kulalani townhome is well-appointed, from the vaulted ceilings to the multiple covered lanais to the private gardens, an exceptional attention to detail appoints this beautiful unit. Guests also have access to a private beach club for exclusive parking and a breathtaking beach. With 2 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, Kulalani 404 can accommodate up to 4 guests.

Upon entering the Big Island vacation home, a gourmet kitchen will be on your left. This kitchen has a generous amount of counter space and updated stainless steel appliances. The chef in the group will be able to whip up anything from a tasty treat to a mouthwatering meal. When dinner is ready to be served, call your guests over to the dining table with seating for four for a home cooked meal. Alternatively dine outside on the private lanai - you are in Hawaii after all. The lanai is surrounded by lush tropical greenery. A BBQ is available alongside patio furniture.
Opposite of the kitchen and dining area is the living room. This space is furnished with plenty of seating for you and your guests to get comfortable in front of the TV. Central air conditioning is also equipped to ensure you stay cool on humid days. A washer and dryer are tucked away inside the home handy for wet bathing suits after a visit to the complex pool or the beach.

When you are ready to end the night choose from the two bedrooms. The primary bedroom has a King-size bed, TV, ceiling fan, sitting area, lanai, and an attached master bathroom. The primary bathroom has a jacuzzi bathtub, walk-in shower, and dual sinks. The guest bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed, TV, ceiling fan, and similarly has an attached bathroom. The guest bathroom has a shower/tub combo.

From Kulani at Mauna Lani, you are a 5-minute drive to some of the most spectacular beaches in the world, including Hapuna and Mauna Kea. But you may want to just relax at Kulalani. We enjoy one of the most beautiful common areas anywhere. Set in a lush tropical setting are 2 pools: an adult lap pool and an ohana (family) pool. There are outdoor spas near each pool. In addition, both pools have restrooms and showers. In the adult pool area there is a very complete, air-conditioned fitness center.

Minimum night varies seasonally 4 -10 nights. This is a non-smoking, no pets property.

We love Big Island but this the first time we stayed at this development and this unit. I had hard times leaving, so comfortable and cozy it was. Everything is organized well, kitchen is perfectly stocked. Beds are comfortable. Lay out is very nice. Balcony off master is lovely - birds are chirping every morning and afternoon. Decor was great as well, it made you feel very cozy. You get access to the beach Club which is lovely as well. Gym was great and so was the lap pool. Overall it was fantastic! thanks the management company for taking care of us and thanks to owners for renting it out.

Perfect location. Easy check-in, very clean. Beds were so comfortable. No bugs, stove and AC worked great. Swimming pool and workout area close by. Access to private beach was a plus as well as the beach chairs, floaters, and umbrella. Would love to visit again !!

My son and his wife stayed there. The bugs were horrendous, kitchen stove didn’t work, smelled musty, air conditioning old. Poorly stocked. They finally moved out two days early as the whole place was just too gross. It is unfortunate as we have stayed in other units at Kulalani that were perfect.

This is a lovely condo/townhouse in the Waikaloa resort area. It was clean and comfortable for our group of four. We liked walking around the neighborhood every morning. The beach club access was wonderful. We also drove to some other beaches. The location is a great starting point if you plan to drive to the other side of the island. Only suggestions are a couple of bicycles to ride around the resort area and hooks (in the garage?) to hang damp beach towels.

A family of our friends with two kids stayed at the property. The location was great, close to everything from the beautiful swimming pool to the shopping center and the beach. The unit was, clean and had everything you need for a perfect vacation. The ground floor is a bit on the darker side but it's absolutely not a deal breaker.

Loved this place! Very clean, well cared for, great quiet neighborhood. Close walk to the pool, quick easy drive to the beach. Everything we needed was in the house. Loved the layout - living space downstairs, bedrooms up. Great quiet lanai downstairs, awesome balcony upstairs. Would gladly stay here again!

Kulalani was an ideal place to get away and relax with our family. The highlight for us was a cat that was out back in the morning and throughout the day, not overly friendly but not aggressive at all, we nicknamed him/her Croc after one of our dogs at home. The location itself was a nice distance away from anywhere too busy, shops and grocery. The private beach and the pool were nice little getaways that didn't get overly crowded. Would stay again if the chance pops up.

Had a wonderful time in Kona and the condo was excellent. The outdoor grill made for some fun meals. Our only disappointment was not having the Magaritaville blender that was prominently shown in several photos. Had a standard blender in the kitchen instead of the primo appliance shown in the pics. Need to remove those photos or provide the blender shown.

Ample space for the 2 of us. Great location with large on-site pool and fitness center. Easy walk to nearby coffee shop as well as both the Fairmont and Mauna Lani resort. Very peaceful / relaxing property and location.

Good location, close to Foodland mkt. easy access to swimming pool, however no tennis courts. Reported some minor repair issues with quick mgmt response. No access to Mauna Lani restaurants, exclusively reserved to hotel guests.

Mauna Lani 404 has great access to the beach, shops and restaurants. Views of the golf course, mountain and wildlife were relaxing. The condo has adequate, but minimal, amenities. We appreciated the washer, dryer and kitchen appliances. Furnishings, however, do not provide comfort- inside or outside. Thorough cleaning of carpets is needed. Shower backed up. Good place to stay, but not great.

The air conditioner was loud The Master bedroom fan didn't work I got shocked and the fuse blew from turning off the light switch in the 2nd bedroom The kitchen had most everything needed. It would have been nice to have a few gallon and guart bags. Ice for coolers would be nice too
