The resort property itself was amazing, and the proximity to the beautiful pool area and gym was wonderful.
The unit itself was a bit dated and the quality of some of the items was not really up to resort standard.
There was no streaming service for the television or device for connecting music, which was disappointing.
The master bedroom and enormous deck were what made the place better than average, however the main lanai was very small and had a very awkward set of patio furniture which made it difficult to enjoy.
Tried to contact the property manager on a couple occasions and never heard back?
One of the landscape sprinklers was soaking the patio furniture every day, but we eventually figure out how to correct the matter ourselves.
Apart from that, the unit appears to be strictly a rental and so lacks some of the nicer touches of having an owner involved.

Very nice and clean apartment. The apartment is equipped with everything you need.
The check in did not go well, an hour late, since the apartment has not yet been cleaned, was a small misunderstanding that was then clarified, everything is fine! For this we were allowed to stay in the apartment for a few hours longer, thank you very much for that. Overall, a great stay, highly recommended.

We’ve stayed in other complexes in Mauna Lani and love the resort. This was our first time staying in Kulalani. The pools and fitness center in the complex are fantastic and we used them often. The condo was great and worked well for our family. Small things like having more silverware and glasses and some kind of bakeware in the kitchen would be helpful.

Oh, let me tell you about this amazing villa we rented through VRBO! It was like finding a hidden gem! The best part was having access to the beach club - we practically lived there during our whole vacation. The sandy beach and crystal-clear waters were just what we needed!
The villa was located in this really nice community, and as soon as we got there, we could see how well they take care of the place. It was clean and cozy - you could tell the owners put some real love into it.
And guess what? They had a BBQ grill, which was a total game-changer for us! We had so much fun grilling and having tasty meals together as a family. It was just so convenient and made the whole experience even better.
What I really appreciated was how clean and tidy everything was inside the villa. No complaints at all - it was super well-maintained. Oh, and thank goodness for the AC! It worked like a charm and kept us cool when it got hot outside.
But wait, there's more! Amy, the property manager, was so awesome. Anytime we had a question or needed something, she was right there to help us out. Super responsive and friendly - it made the whole rental process a breeze.
So, if you're looking for a great beach vacation with a cozy villa, this is the spot! Trust me, you won't regret it. We're already planning to go back next year - that's how much we loved it!

We wanted a place to relax that was close to the beach and had everything close by. We couldn't have made a better choice. The rental is in a gated community with beautiful landscaping and a beautiful pool right behind it. The rental had all the beach gear you need to include chairs and an umbrella. Weade use of those items when we went to the private gated beach you get access to when staying here. All I can say is we will definitely be back to stay here again. The house was perfect for our family and was super clean and comfortable. Amazing property in an amazing area of Hawaii. PERFECT!

The property is quite spacious and two couples could easily stay and have enough privacy. The location was great for our needs. The master bedroom is large with a chest of drawers so you can unpack. There is also a walk-in closet. The master bathroom has two sinks with cabinets/drawers and a large shower and separate tub. As other reviewers have noted, some things have seen better days and could be replaced (stained carpeting, some broken blinds, master bed), but nothing that should keep you away. Enjoy! Hawaii is definitely paradise.

Came for the June half Ironman race and it was a perfect location for that! Walkable to see all events. Private beach was also amazing. Place was wonderful as well and had everything we needed.

We had a great time! The rental was well stocked, clean, and close to amenities. Access to the pools and the beach club were wonderful. Enjoyed the resort grounds as well. Good selection of chairs, mats and umbrella to use at beaches. It was very comfortable for 2 couples. Amy was available immediately for questions that we had. We would definitely consider staying here again on our next visit.

We really enjoyed our time here. The master bedroom has a great patio with furniture that you can sit outside on. The complex is awesome with 2 pools (kid and adult) and 2 hot tubs!!! Very quiet. Never used the fitness center but lots of other people did
The rental is definitely worn (stains on carpets, paint scuffed up, wicker furniture torn, etc) but the beds and couch are very comfortable. I don’t spend a lot of time inside so it was the perfect place for us. All things functional. Close to the pool complex and an easy drive to the rest of the area.

This condo has great access to the pool as well as the private beach club. Get there early and enjoy a cabana for the day. Located in a gated community with all the conveniences needed. One of the bikes needs has a bad tire and needs a new tube.

The condo was very clean and had lots of amenities and was well stocked. The swimming pool and grounds were great and the access to the hotel and beach club was very convenient. We loved our stay here!
The only hiccup was the arrival instructions were not correct, however we contacted the property manager and it fixed quickly!

Great visit and nice condo close to a fantastic grocery (yummy poke), pools, and gym. The condo is well equipped with a nice kitchen and a bbq on the back deck. Both bedrooms are upstairs with their own bathrooms and an extra half bath downstairs. Very comfortable. Only criticism is the carpets are rather stained and may need replacing in the near future. Management took care of any small issues promptly.

We loved the complex. The pool is great for families - a little Keiki pool for kiddos. There is also a lap pool near the gym which was great after a workout.
The condo itself was pretty nice. The appliances could use an update. There is a pretty lengthy check out process requiring that guests wash towels and some sheets but the dryer takes more than 2 hours to dry towels. This required us to cut our last day short so that we had time to complete the checkout activities. Also, you're not allowed to use the garbage disposal which was oddly inconvenient.

The house was great! It was spacious and clean; plenty of room for three adults. The neighborhood was exactly as described: two beautiful pools and the beach club was so beautiful. There was also another public beach nearby, also very quiet and beautiful. The Fairmont was an easy walk, as were the shops.
One recommendation: the dryer was very slow to dry, especially heavy items such as towels, even when we washed only a few beach towels on our last day. We thought maybe the vent was blocked. This was our only (very minor) issue. We hope to come back next year!

We really enjoyed this place in Kulalani. We've stayed at many places on the Big Island and this was the quietest and most relaxing. Perfect for the 4 of us (2 couples). We could spread out and have our space but also plenty of places to visit and relax.

Easy to get to all areas even the other side due to proximity to Saddle road. Beaches, stores and elsewhere an easy commute. Well stocked with all your outdoor needs as well.

The condo is spacious, very comfortable, nicely decorated, and in a great location. The best part of any of the condos on the grounds of the Mauna Lani resort is the private beach club and the little cove which is perfect for snorkeling and for children. In addition, this complex has access to two pools, one of which is a lap pool in a "quiet area". Both were lovely. The only improvement that could be made is newer/nicer pots and pans and knives. Other than that, the kitchen was well stocked with appliances and dishes. We completely enjoyed our stay.

The property was well maintained and basic supplies were available. The maintenance company was very helpful. The amenities were good but the advertisements suggested the beach was walking distance. Directions to the pool and beach would have been helpful. The bathrooms should have magnifying mirrors for makeup. It would have been helpful to have instructions for the TV. Otherwise thumbs up!!👍

Unit is comfortable and as described. Short walk to terrific pool/gym facility. Includes parking for beach access. I would suggest the following: needs new cooking pans as internal surfaces are scratched, and owners will benefit themselves if they make sure all appliance manuals are available and organized.

Grear property, secure, the resort beach was amazing. Few things would have been nice. A sponge, brush, or dishcloth would have been nice and couldn't find a kitchen garbage.
