There were beach towels and chairs available at the rental. A parking pass allowed parking right next to the building. This is a 4th floor suite that is right next to the elevator for very easy access. We would stay here again!

Second time staying in this condo. Always clean, stocked with what we need and close to the Kahekilli beach which is our favorite! Great view, last two days there was a rainbow in the morning. Can’t get any closer to the elevator. We will be back!

Aloha! Location, location, location!!! Our stay was wonderful. This unit has everything you could possibly need to have a great stay in Maui. So nice to have beach chairs, an umbrella and beach towels to use. Very clean and comfortable, full kitchen, nice bathroom and comfy living area. A great lanai with the best view of the ocean only steps away. We will definitely be back! Mahalo!

Was entirely satisfied with our stay here! Located north of Lahaina, out of the business of town, easy beach access, and quiet and peaceful here. The lack of AC was no problem, with the bedroom windows open there is a constant breeze that cools the condo. Easy check in/check out and easy communication with the owner! Would come here again!

My husband and I made a quick trip to Maui. Researching a place to stay I had 1 qualification, to have a lani to see the water and sea life. This place completely lived up to and plus some on our experience.

Overall, our experience at the Vrbo apartment was not what we had expected. The lack of air conditioning and bug infestation made our stay uncomfortable and difficult. We believe that more accurate information should have been provided about the apartment to avoid these issues. We hope that the owner will work with us to find a resolution to this problem. Also elevator was not working.

We loved this end unit, top floor condo. It was very quiet, offering a beautiful ocean front view of whales during our stay. The sandy beach next to the property was an added bonus to be able to easily get in the water for snorkeling. We had a brief period of difficulty getting into the condo as a miscommunication resulted in us not getting the entry code. The owner reached out and we got in somewhat shortly after calling. That didn’t affect how we felt about our stay.

Kahana Reef is in Northwest part of Maui, not too big but all units have ocean view. I can see Molokai and Lanai islands from my patio. I saw whales and rainbows, too from my patio. Mark is very communicative and provides good information and flexible policy when my flights changed and needed to check out for midnight flight instead. Price for my unit with ocean view and during holidays was reasonable. It has very consistent elegant and clean decors. I will definitely try again and recommend it to friends.

Stayed here for our honeymoon, had an amazing time. The condo was perfect, exactly as advertised. We had read some others complain about ants, if you’re a messy person you’ll have insect problems everywhere you go. We cleaned up after ourselves and had zero problem. The only complaint we have is that there was extremely noisy cement resurfacing work going on 1 floor below directly outside of our unit, for the entire stay between 8am and 3pm, Luckily we spent very little time in the condo as we were out and about exploring and enjoying the island. The view from the balcony(lanai) was gorgeous. The sunsets were beautiful every night, but the moonset we got to see one morning was unbelievable. It was so hot and muggy the first day that we thought there was no way that the “trade winds” would cool us off enough to sleep comfortably, but they really did. Overall we absolutely loved our stay at Kahana Reef and would book here again if we ever have the chance.

PROS:
-location is wonderful (very central to the West side of the island)
-Watching sunset from Lanai is just incredible
-Owner is amazing - very responsive, etc.
-Condo is comfortable and everything is available
CONS:
-No AC...for anyone that is used to air conditioning, the winds do not cool the place down, since the Island stays warm. Again, this is only a CON if you are used to air-conditioning - otherwise, it would not be a con.

We had a wonderful stay at this fantastic quiet location in Lahaina. Mark was great at communicating with us. You can’t top the view from the lanai and the condo was clean and had everything we needed. My favourite part of every day was seeing the sea turtles in the water right off of the sea wall on the property. I would recommend this spot if you are planning a trip to Maui!!

We enjoyed our stay until the manager of the condos returned after being away. He was rude and many of the people staying at the units were offended by his actions and words. I suggest the HOA should get a new manager.

This unit was wonderful. We had everything we could have possibly needed. The view was amazing, furniture was comfortable, we’re even thinking of getting the same mattress.
We’ve stayed all along the coastline with ocean front properties, this was one of the best- to note what we missed at other condos that this one had- Warm pool, no loud noises from the street, and the cross breeze from the windows open cooled the unit nicely.
Other notes-
Our 7 year old loved the waves at the beach next door, and the close tide pools to explore. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Whales galore off of the lanai, sunsets and rainbows all the time.

The condo unit was luxurious from in every way including a large bedroom with lots of closet/dresser spaces and a sumptuous bed; a bathroom with modern shower and cabinets; a kitchen fully stocked with dishes and appliances (a huge refrigerator/freezer); a spacious living room with classy furnishings; and a comfy lanai that is almost over the ocean. Nice little beach just a few steps away and a great restaurant across the street. And so quiet!

The beach front location in Kahana is one of the best with fantastic views of Lanai and Molokai from the Lanai! The condo is comfortable and the owner is very responsive. The property overall is older but well maintained...we will be back! A short walk to Maui Brewing is also a plus!

This condo was perfect for our small group. It has a beautiful ocean view, a lanai to enjoy that view on, and is located in Kahana near restaurants and beaches. It was perfect for what we needed! We would absolutely stay here again. There is no AC but honestly we were just fine without it. If you propped the front door you a nice breeze rolled through the unit, and there are several fans available to use. Owner communicated promptly and gave us all the information clearly and quickly. The unit was easy to find, and there is an elevator so you do not have to lug your bags up any stairs.

Clean condominium, but needs some repairs. Front door handle feels like it is going to fall off. Sliding glass doors and screens are difficult to open/close. Shower needs regrouting. Vertical blinds are broken, only open/close. No AC should be prominently noted in the listing.

My husband and I just spent a week at this great condo. The views of the ocean are phenomenal! The condominium is very quiet at night and the premises are kept well.
Even though we went out half the day for hiking or snorkeling, it was nice to spend the afternoon relaxing in the balcony.

We had a wonderful stay at Kahana Reef -- as mentioned in the listing, you are steps away from the beach and the top-floor condo offers stunning views of the sunset (and Venus). We enjoyed the plush new carpet and cool breeze. The condo is also very near the #28 bus line so you get to feel away from everything but also have amenities of town nearby. The hosts were also good communicators and responsive.

The overall stay at Kahana Reef 416 was wonderful and relaxing.
Pros:
Plenty of utensils and crockery provided.
Quite spacious and good enough for party of 2-3.
Perfect sunset view and beach access from the back of the property
Cons:
Bathroom is very small, average sized person can barely fit in.
Missing air conditioning, not required all the time but could be helpful on hot days. Couple of table fans are provided.
Lizards and bugs can get in even if the mesh door is closed, be mindful of it
We will definitely recommend to our friends and shall come back.

We were quite pleased with our stay. Property was just as described very clean and comfortable. The views were amazing and we were able to see Whales from our balcony. Everything we needed was included in the unit, location was great, parking and access to the unit from elevator was easy. Very quiet complex and truly appreciated the non-smoking policy of the complex. We hope to return again some day!

We enjoyed the location and property. Some appliances/furniture was a bit dated, but nothing to diminish from the overall experience.

Owner was very responsive with communication, accommodating with our requests.
One downside: it was extremely windy during our stay. Not a problem in the unit, just noisy when things were banging in the adjacent hallway.
All in all, would recommend this place and definitely would come back ourselves :-)
