Our family of three had a great stay here. We did an extended stay of a month. The location is perfect for convenience of restaurants and grocery stores, as well as driving to the north and south ends of the island. The cleaning staff did an excellent job (especially since we had a messy toddler). The property owner was very responsive, especially when the keypad did not work upon our arrival. Because we stayed for several weeks, it was important to have a well furnished condo, well stocked kitchen, and hood WiFi for working, which were all great here. We honestly had no issues whatsoever during our stay and would love to return to this location.

My husband, teenage son (14), and I enjoyed a week in Kapa'a at this condo. It was exceptionally clean--our kudos to the cleaning crew! We had two issues--the upstairs neighbor (who moved out during our stay) being VERY noisy, and the battery dying on the door lock (so we couldn't punch in the code and enter the condo)--and the condo management team was quick to respond and very helpful in both instances. The location of this condo is central to many things; you can walk to a grocery store and a number of restaurants, plus it is a good jumping-off midpoint for exploring the rest of the island. It was only about 15-20 minutes from Lihue (the airport and many larger shops, like Costco). Parking at the condo was literally 10 steps from the door, which we appreciated. We loved having the little coin laundry available within a short walk -- bring your quarters! The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed (nice that there was both a drip coffee maker and a Keurig), and we appreciated the use of a few extra beach items and towels. The beds were comfy, and it was great having the option of air conditioning in the bedrooms overnight (use of it also drowned out the roosters crowing early in the morning). It was wonderful to be able to walk five minutes to the ocean and sand--really gorgeous sun rises! Overall things were quite comfortable, though the living room could use an end table or two and some lamps. Great choice for the money--we'd consider staying here again!

It was one of the cleanest places and we make a point trying lots of places. Attention to detail was wonderful.
Towels, toilet paper uniquely folded. Again detail was not missed. AC was fine and kept up during our stay this time of year. Great place and location when understanding what is needed when staying on Kauai.
Having a comfortable place to reset and head back out. Only slight ding was having upper full time residents with children on hardwoods, but seemed to be quiet around 8pm and as long as your up by 6 all good. Easy parking and overall a great place. The back screen door would not hold in tracks but sure it will be a fix. I tried. Thank you for the stay.

From the moment we came into the property and space >> BOOM! A dream come true on the Garden Island. The sense of taste, utility and the added bonus of a gaggle of chickens in the backyard and 'lanai' was so noticeable and intentional. We even named the large Rooster "Bob" as he was as charming and playful as he was boisterous.

My daughter commented on how great your shower was compared to the one we are in on O'ahu here in Waikiki. My girlfriend who comes from Kaua'i often mentioned just how at home she felt -- like we were staying at a fried's house who really wanted us to enjoy our time at Village Manor.
Oh yeah...Definitely have breakfast at the Olympic Cafe which is only a short distance from the house.

The apartment was clean and cute, and the location was great. We were very close to shopping, dining and the beach. We loved that there was snorkeling gear and beach towels and chairs to use. The only thing that would make me not want to book again was the upstairs neighbors. Starting from very early in the morning and lasting until late at night you could here every single footstep of the kids running around upstairs.. whenever we were there it was just constant banging and thumping. Kids will be kids, but it did make it hard to find the place peaceful.

Three of us had a very enjoyable stay. The location is ideal -- a two-minute walk to a strolling beach and a short walk to Safeway and Starbucks. Good nearby restaurants and close to terrific beaches. Easy and close parking and a nice back porch and yard with Kauai's famous chickens. We loved the chickens and roosters. The condo is comfortable, very clean, well stocked (but could use basic spices like salt and pepper). We initially had trouble with the living room TV but Alex responded with three visits to address the problem, which turned out to be a faulty remote. Good communication. Highly recommend.

This was the most convenient and affordable option for our stay on Kauai. This condo was very clean and comfortable and had many comforts like bedside charging ports and a kurig machine. Beach items, dishes, shampoo and conditioner are just some of the items provided. The AC in the bedrooms worked fine. Beds very comfortable. We could hear people upstairs but if you live in an apartment you know that's expected. Very quiet here overnight. We walked to the beach for sunrise every morning. Very happy overall!

We stayed here for 10 nights with our family of 5 (kids ages 15, 13, and 10). First it’s a great location for seeing the island. We came with the plan to hike in the north and scuba dive from the south so this place was centrally located and allowed us to easily do both. It isn’t ocean front but it is well priced and you can quickly walk to a beach path (only a minute or so away) where you can go to watch the sunrise and walk to dinner. It’s also very close to lots of amenities which is nice when travelling with a family!
We followed their advice and ate at sleeping giant grill at their recommendation and it was so good we ended up going 3 times. Highly recommend it and walk along to beach to get there if you can. It’s also close to Lydgate park which is a beach for everyone- boogie boarding, snorkelling, and the playground.
The only challenge we had was when we first arrived the shower wasn’t draining. The landlord quickly responded and had a plumber come over that day. Unfortunately he only cleaned out the filter so by the end of our trip the same thing was happening so hopefully that can be fixed before the next guests.
Also be aware of the sugar ants. I’ve lived in a tropical climate before so came prepared with lots of ziplocs and we kept all food in the fridge so make sure you do the same. I have found these ants very hard to eradicate so no fault to the owner.
Was really nice to have snorkel gear, cooler, and beach towels provided. Overall good stay.

This was a lovely place in our price range. It was equipped with water gear which we really enjoyed and used on both of our excursions to the beach. It is close to almost everything by car. I really liked its central location. Fairly close to the Airport. Close to groceries and shopping. Lydgate park was a fantastic place for the kids.

Quality experience from beginning to end. Easy to book, reasonable price, good communication from owner. Property was as shown; 2 bedroom and 1.5 bath. Well appointed as far as amenities like beach towels, nice linens, full kitchen with quality knives, coffee maker and even a rice cooker! Well thought out. Location of unit is central Kapa’a, close to water as well as the bike path (rental place in walking distance). The Kauai bus stop is close as well. You can walk to a number of local places to eat as well as Safeway. Highly recommended!

It was a great place to finish our trip. Good location and easy walk to many places as well as a good starting point to visit other spots on the island. There's a shared laundry facility on site. You are right along a biking/walking path that spans several miles. Most of the basics for what you need are there, as well as a few extras so that you don't need to buy or bring too much, including a cooler, beach towels, bathroom supplies, etc. I would stay again.

We went to Kauai for business, but since we haven't been there in a long time, we made the most out of our trip. It's not so much of a fancy resort area, but neither are their rates. Kapaa and Lihue is where most things are located at. The airport shopping, Sunday market with fresh produce, restaurants and even beaches. Our host gave us lots of suggestions on things to do if we did want to drive and again being in Kapaa was central to all of that. There was ample parking. Fortunately the weather was cooler so just having the portable room a/c was good enough to keel things comfortable. We had just about every appliance we would have needed. Overall it was a nice experience and have already referred friends and family here. Thank you to the management and staff.

Property listed with AC, only a portable AC in each bedroom, not in living /kitchen area, was extremely hot and room did not cool down the entire week we were there with them running 24/7. Kitchen did not have fry pan, had to purchase. Some Cookware not cleaned properly, old and abused. Noisy, from upstairs neighbors and AC running full time. Rooms were clean, and location on island was good.

Good property. Really well stocked. Was travelling with others who stayed in different properties in the same complex. They mentioned that ours was the best one. Couple of downsides: The condo gets stuffy through the day when you are not there with the door/windows open or the air conditioning not on. The bedrooms could be cooled easily at night, but the living room/kitchen area always seemed stuffy. White towels and the fear of getting them dirty with a charge was stressful, especially with kids. Would recommend changing them to something a little more forgiving. Not on the condo, but wish I would have understood the traffic in this area. Might have changed where we stayed, although we were pretty centrally located.

We’ve visited Kauai many times but never stayed on this area of the island despite traveling here often for many of the nearby attractions. We were pleasantly surprised by the convenience, value, and comfort this property provided our family of 4 for our brief visit. It was exceptionally clean upon our arrival and the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms were stocked with items that made our stay much more enjoyable. Overall I gave this property a 4. I think at first impression I was a little put off but it really grew on me due to location, privacy, and cost compared to surrounding area. It’s at the back of a complex where clearly there are some full time residents. There was a car covered in a tarp that sort of blocks the access to the unit. It is located on a lovely bike path which leads right to the ocean and is centrally located on the island. The traffic in Ka’aapu was horrendous so keep that in mind while moving around. The unit itself has been redone and is nice. Amenities included were all present. The bedrooms have AC units installed but the main room does not and I don’t recall the listing discussing this. If you keep the bedroom doors open it’ll somewhat cool the living space, but the humidity is high and being a bottom floor unit I was not comfortable leaving the doors and windows open at night to get a breeze. There is no dishwasher so keep that in mind if feeding a family. The property manager/owner was responsive, and it did suit our needs for our trip. Would I stay there again probably knowing these few items.

The updated condo was just what we needed and were expecting for our month on the island. It worked great for 4! We loved the Kapaa area and being able to walk or bike to lots of places… even though we had a car. Even though we didn’t need the bedroom a/c units for cooling just the fan option helped with blocking the roosters and traffic noises nearby. The property manager Jennie was Wonderful to work with!! She was quick to respond to any questions we had!

Great spot. We love Kapaa. Near the bull shed, great food. Walking distance to the best shaved ice on the island, Wailia Shaved Ice. Long walk or short drive to downtown Kapaa where there are great shops, food and environment. House is right near the walking trail that goes to Kapaa and further. Only negative all the little bugs, they have little traps all over but they don’t seem to help. Protect your food.

This house is a great location - I ran from the house to catch the walking path that runs for a several miles. The Wailua drive in and the deli across the street are great local “greasy spoons” and satisfying for local food. The snorkel shop is next door and while Jennie has items, you can get more stuff if needed for a reasonable cost. The house is great and the beds were comfy. The kitchen was well appointed and we cooked a few night. Jennie was great to communicate with and super easy checkin and checkout process. Highly recommend!!

This was a great home base for our trip to Kauai. We were comfortable and had plenty of room. I really appreciated the entertainment setup (we had some rainy time where we hid indoors), the extra towels (we needed every last one) and the coffee amenities. You can't really beat the location if you want to be centrally located on the island. Would definitely stay again.

This property was perfect for our little family: My husband, myself and my 2 kids (ages 7 and 9). The shopping center across the street was convenient with Safeway, Starbucks, ABC store and Ross. Although it wasn’t a swim beach, the kids loved walking to the beach. For swim beaches, lydgate beach was so close and convenient. Perfect for the kids and it has an amazing playground. We were so close to so many of our excursions: kayaking the Wailua, tubing through the sugar canals, chocolate tours, atv tour, luau and so much more. Kapaa is a great little town. Coffee at Java Kai, shaved ice at Hee Fat and malasadas at passion bakery were our local favorites of the week!
We got in super late, so the easy check-in process was appreciated. We had a great 9 days and can’t wait to come back.

We had an amazing time, the condo was perfect for our needs. When we got there and noticed there was no snorkeling gear and we couldn’t find the key to the bike the owner responded to my inquiry immediately and dropped off snorkeling gear and told us where to get the key.. one of the bones broke and they repaired the broken bike chain within about 24 hours. We would definitely consider staying here again. Walking distance to the ocean and across the street from a Safeway for groceries.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. The bed was comfortable and the living set up was put together nicely. Ee enjoyed the chess table. There is everything you need to use around the condo and beach gear is provided. These include beach towels, snorkels, and chairs.
