Family of six on our dream vacation!!
Joe is very helpful and prompt to answer any questions or respond to issues we had during our vacation stay. Provided us with detailed information about Maui.
Unfortunately the dryer stopped working, but Joe was helpful to provide extra towels.
We loved sitting on the lanai watching the whales, enjoyed the pool and hot tub and were fortunate to see green sea turtles arrive on the small beach in the evening.
Would recommend a deep cleaning of the unit.
We love the Ma’alaea area central to everything!

Joe’s property was exactly as described and was the perfect central location for our family of 3. Our 9 year old son loved the boogie board and had a great time catching the kid friendly waves at Kamaole Beach Park 3. The cooler held our picnic dinner that we enjoyed while watching the sunset at the Haleakala summit. My most favorite thing though was to watch the dozens of turtles who would feed on the rocks in front of the condo. We saw more turtles from the lanai and beach in front of the condo than at the Maui Ocean Center! We would definitely stay here again.

Everything about this property and experience was perfect. It all went so seamlessly. Joe is so great to work with and beyond helpful and accommodating. Loved everything about our stay. It was the perfect size, homey, great location, beautiful views. If I was to go back to Maui again I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Joe! Also the property manager on site was so kind and helpful. We had daily chats with him to get tips and pointers from a local.

We enjoyed our stay at Maalea Banyan. Highlights were seeing up to six turtles each afternoon on the reef in front of the condo. The pool is as nice and not too crowded as it is a small resort. There’s a small shopping area close for last minute needs. We would stay here again.

Condo was great. Joe was very helpful with check-in & out accommodations. Good location to visit many areas of the island. We went to Baby Beach for the grandkids. Haycraft Beach is very close by. Also visited the Kula District, Lahaina, Kaanapali, and more.
Condo was clean and met all our needs. We purchased fresh food from farmers markets, and ate mostly in condo. Would go back again and recommend to others.

Overall the unit is well located in a quiet neighborhood and has a wonderful view to Maui. Rooms are ok but the bathrooms and kitchen need to be updated.

We loved this property! From the lanai we saw SEVERAL whales every single day and turtles by the shore often, and the sunrise over the mountain with the reflection on the water. We could walk east a couple blocks to a public bleach (which was very secluded). The pool and the hot tub are adjacent to the ocean and the condo staff was polite and helpful.

We loved our stay here. Thanks to the loft it felt like a 3 bedroom condo. The ocean view is PHENOMENAL. We saw whales all day every day out in the bay. The location is perfect - it's about 20 minutes to Kihei or Lahaina. The property manager Buzz was also very helpful and gave us lots of tips about which beaches to visit.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The condo is great for family’s. I and my husband and adult daughter stayed. The condo has everything you could want in the kitchen all cooking utensils you would need along with a variety of spices. It is within walking distance to a couple of restaurants and a bar for happy hour. It is located close to Kihei for grocery stores and Lanai for shopping and dining. The washer and dryer were a huge plus as we were able to pack lighter. Joe was great in reply in a couple of questions we had. We would absolutely stay again and hope to return to the island next year.

We have stayed at a different property at Maalaea Banyans before and love the location, but really wanted to stay in a little larger of a condo to not feel like we were tripping over one another all the time. Even though it was just two of us, it was so nice to have plenty of room to spread out. The condo is spacious, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the views from the lanai were amazing. There is no going back to a tiny condo after this, since the price was right and the space was amazing. We will definitely be booking with Joe next time we are headed to Maui.

Let me preface my review by saying that I'm a local to Maui (born and raised, then relocated to the mainland 11 years ago). The overall service, immediate and detailed responses I received from Joe was exceptional! He embodied the "Aloha spirit" and was always so very kind and quick to respond to all of my questions and was very accommodating. He provided so many great and important travel tips, which I thought would be helpful for any first timers and those not familiar with the island. The accommodations was exactly as described, except that it seemed like it was 3 bedrooms instead of 2, which was a welcomed surprise :)
I personally chose this Maalaea location as it is a great central point to everything and everywhere you need to get to on Maui. It's a little more secluded compared to the hotel strips in Wailea and Lahaina, but still in walking distance to shops, restaurants and the aquarium and a small theme park. We didn't stay in the condo much as we were out and about, but the accommodations were just right for us. Everything was in working order so there was no need for us to reach out to the property manager.
Based from our experience and our needs, we highly recommend this property!

The place was super clean, and the property sits right on the ocean. It was truly a beautiful place. I can't say enough about the Owners. They were extremely responsive and when ever we had questions I messaged them and they got back instantly. I would love to stay here again in the future!

Beutiful views from Condo, Liked location as it was between the Northern and Southern sections of the Island. Condo was great for the five of us. Pool and Jacuzi right next to Ocean.

Thank you again for the use of your great condo. Your condo is in the perfect location, walking distance to the harbor, and everything else is within 15 to 20 minutes depending on traffic and what a view! It was nice not having to deal with the traffic in Kihei everyday! We do recommend the Pacific Whale Foundation's all day snorkel trip to Molokini and Lanai captain Steve and his crew were awesome! I hope our paths cross again....Until then.....Alooooooha.

THIS WAS THE MOST RELAXING AND BEAUTIFUL PLACE. IT WAS POST CARD PERFECT AND LOVED BEING SO CLOSE TO SO MANY EXCITING PLACES. THE PEOPLE WERE GREAT THE CONDO WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD AND WE HAVE NEVER ENJOYED OURSELVES SO MUCH OR FELT SO STRESS FREE. WAKING UP IN THE MORNING TO THE VIEW AND SITTING ON THE PORCH AND LISTENING TO THE BIRDS WAS SO ENJOYABLE. Our family enjoyed our stay in Maui so much that we're already dreaming about our next trip back. There are so many great things to do and see. After a long day of sightseeing, snorkelling, walking, shopping, or driving, the condo was like a home away from home. The views from the lanai are wonderful, and the other visitors we encountered down at the barbecue were very friendly. Thank you, Joe, for your hospitality and kindness. We will be back!

The weather was a lovely 75-80 degrees in December and only rained 2 out of 10 days. No whales yet in the bay but took a boat trip and found a pod. The condo is in a central location which allows easy access to whatever direction you need to travel on the island. A perfect vacation!

Just a quick note to say we had a great time in Maui as always. But being where we were, 4th floor,on the water, and the fabulous breeze blowing in, it was wonderful. To wake up every morning to the ocean staring you in the face, what could be better.

We had a great time at Joe and Karen's condo for our son's wedding on Maui. We had friends from St. Maarten (where our son was born) travel all the way to Maui to stay with us. The condo was perfect. I enjoyed my coffee every morning on the terrace looking over at Haleakala. The tradewinds were so cool and comfortable that we never used the air conditioning and our daughter used the computer connection to do all her online homework for her Master's Degree program while we were there. The condo is a great location, central to everything and easy to find. Joe and Karen are perfect hosts and really easy to work with. We plan to come back (again and again).
