I cannot thank Suzy enough for such an amazing place! We had a blast all things considered with the fires in Maui in early August 2023. Even without internet, power and cell phone service, we had a great time enjoying the pool, beach access and seeing turtles from the lanai. We would not hesitate to return to this fantastic place when we return to Maui! Mahalo Suzy!

Celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at the Kahana Nui Villa with our sons, their spouses and our grandchildren. With over a year worth of trip planning, everyone was wowed with this extraordinary South Pacific oceanfront home that has spectacular views of the ocean and Molokai and served as our base to explore and enjoy the Island of Maui. We could not be more pleased with our stay, as we had everything we needed to prepare meals, enjoy the great pool and use of its other facilities that helped keep the grandchildren engaged. If you have a large group, this is a place we would highly recommend.

Can’t imagine a better place to stay! We had 14 family members with ages ranging from grandparents to 7 months old. Everyone enjoyed their own rooms/suites and also loved the common areas to spend time together, both inside and outside the house. The pool was a blast and the beach access was great! We’re already planning a return trip!

Over all the house and location was amazing. Everything you needed grill, hot tub, pool, beach the views are amazing. Of course the one down fall is the bridge construction, I know owner has no control but it was the only thing that was inconvenient on the trip. Suzy was a pleasure to work with and hopefully will return in the future

The house was amazing, the location was stunning, surpassed only by Suzy’s graciousness. The only minor issue was the roadwork outside the home, something out of Suzy’s control. We leave with family memories that we will cherish forever.

Spectacular! A true paradise. Older property with Polynesian character. Wonderful whale watching from the large deck. Some maintenance needed but didn’t impact our enjoyment. Biggest issue is major road construction by the county at front of property. Quite ugly and cumbersome but not the owner’s fault.

The house was comfortable, clean, and homey! We wanted for nothing. The house was everything and more we wanted and expected. There was 11 of us and at no time did we feel like we were on top of each other. Suzy every made sure we had a Christmas tree to enjoy. We will definitely be back!

The house was great. The Kahana Stream and bridge became a big issue. They are replacing the bridge. They opened the stream to the ocean and the crystal clear ocean turned brown for three days. We went away for a whole day tour to Hana and returned to our vehicles barricaded in the driveway. Thank God we’re gone next week they are removing the bridge. The bridge work was annoying to say the least.

We gathered our family here in Maui at Suzy’s house for a reunion. The home was amazing in every way! Upon the recommendation by Suzy, we had chefs Val and John prepare our dinner each evening as we watched the sunset each evening after enjoying all that Maui has to offer. Just a perfect setting to make family memories to last a lifetime. Suzy responded to any questions or needs promptly and was a wonderful host. We HIGHLY recommend her home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kahana Nui Villa. This property was a dream come true! The whole house opens up to the ocean & beautiful views, and the house gave us that island vibe we were looking for. We had a group of 10 adults and a baby and the house provided more than enough room for all of us to have privacy, but then gather for meals & spend time together. We needed help with a few small things when we arrived (seems someone unplugged the wifi, whoops! ) and Suzi was very responsive and took care of everything right away. The house was well stocked & we cooked meals & bbq'd, made use of the beach chairs & umbrellas often. The location just 5 minutes from some prime snorkeling beaches was also ideal. Unfortunately the button for the jacuzzi bubbles was on back order, so it wasn’t working during our stay, but the pool was refreshing and we enjoyed it everyday!
The views were amazing, and some turtles even came so close to shore that we could watch them from the balcony. We rented a kayak & a paddle board to use at the house, but the amount of rocks and shallow water kept us from using the paddle board since we were all beginners and didn’t want to get too far from shore.
We had a mixed age group on our trip 14 months to 88 years old, but all were fine navigating the multiple stair cases in the house. The access down to the beach was a little more difficult than we anticipated, which kept some of our older relatives from being able to get down to the beach, so that was a little disappointing. From reading reviews we had expected it to be an easier transition from the lawn of the house. It also might be a nice idea to have step stools near the beds that are higher off the ground than we are used to, but the beds were comfy and we slept well! There was construction going on across the street which was a little noisy at times, but for the most part didn’t interfere with our enjoyment of the property.
We made wonderful family memories, and we will be dreaming of our beautiful stay here for years to come.

Every aspect of our stay here was perfect. Well stocked with supplies that a large family needs. Close to amazing restaurants
and a good supermarket if you want to cook yourself. The first day we arrived, baby whales were breaching exactly in from to us... each day got better. Close to great beaches. We had the best time. Can't wait to go back.

Jaw dropping property! We were overwhelmed with this vacation destination; from the amazing property location to the gorgeous Tahitian style house., to the unsurpassed views. What an experience! Everyday we could whale watch from the Lanai, and what a treat! Watching the humpbacks breach was unforgettable. There were binoculars in the house which we put to good use. We also saw sea turtles in what seemed like our own little private beach area.
Everyone in our group of 7 were wowed by this place and would love to come back. I was hoping this place wouldn’t disappoint and we were not let down.. Having 4 master suites was great. Kitchen was well stocked and very functional. Pool and spa were very nice. Bocci ball and ping pong we put to good use. We found ourselves orchestrating most of our meals on the lanai. A few times we went out for a meal, but wished we were back at the Bali house. Our host (Suzie) was very responsive and accommodating. Thank Suzie.

Overall, the property is large, spacious & set up well for families. We used the pool/spa often and had our morning coffee on the terrace every morning watching the whales! The property manager was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. A couple of items to note: the indoor furniture from Bali was extremely heavy and not particularly comfortable, and there is no step or handrail to get in and out of the spa. Might be a concern for some renters. But.....our stay in Maui finally happened after this challenging pandemic and it was simply, a wonderful week!!

Our Family stayed the first week in January 2022 as part of celebrating my wife’s 50th. Our party of 10 was very well accommodated in the house. The pool, beach access, sunsets and proximity to Nearby towns was perfect. We went to Maui specifically to see the whale activity and the property’s claim of seeing whales from the lanai overdelivered!! Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

The property is beautiful. The views from the deck are spectacular. Plenty of room for people to be together, yet places to escape for quiet time when needed. We had an electrical breaker situation and after contacting Suzy she had the right person there in no time. You won’t go wrong staying here for a wonderful vacation.

The positioning and view from the property out over the water is breath taking.. The home is expansive and had almost all amenities we could think of available to us. The beach being right there was amazing. We were lucky enough to even see a few sea turtles come ashore for a while during our stay. The pool and hot water tub and ping pong tables were very popular amoungst the group. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others as well.

We had a group of 12 (11 adults and a toddler). We found the home spacious for all of us to enjoy. The pool and large patio in the back was great. So relaxing enjoying the sun and listening to the surf. My only comment is while the main level sitting area furniture is beautiful - it is not very comfortable. Suzy is great and we wiill definitely consider this property again.

This beautiful home was perfect for our family vacation with our 3 adult sons and their spouses. Stunning views from 4 of the bedrooms (the other 2 rooms each had 2 twins, and one of those rooms you have to walk thru to get to one of the master bedrooms upstairs, so not great if you have all adults). 3 of the 4 view rooms have en-suite bathrooms, plus there is a nice family room upstairs which opens to the living room below. So many places to hang out, all with beautiful views across the channel to Molokai. Rainbows every day, sea turtles right off the beach. We rented electric bikes through RideSmart Maui, and kayaks that one of my sons arranged. Everything was delivered to the house. Suzy arranged for a beautiful bouquet of tropical flowers which were waiting for us upon arrival. The kitchen is very well equipped, and there are beach towels, detergent, etc. We purchased some floating noodles for the pool, and there were some boogie boards previous guests had left. Lots of room on the pool deck/lawn level to play bocce ball and corn hole. It's time to replace the corn hole boxes, they are pretty tattered, but the bean bags worked great, and we didn't play ping pong because we couldn't get the net to stay upright. We used the tiki bar to have happy hours down by the pool, The beach right in front of the house is a bit rocky, but just stroll around the point and there is a large beach right in front of the complex to the south, and it's not so rocky in front of the house that you can't wade, swim, snorkel or launch the kayaks.
We ate every meal on the lanai, used the gas grill several times, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The pool is the perfect temperature and the water fall is lovely. Unfortunately the jacuzzi heater was malfunctioning and was not adjusting correctly while we were there, but was getting fixed the day we had to leave. Suzy was super quick to send a plumber when we had an issue with a running toilet which needed service. Also, I had read a previous review which complained that there were no sharp carving knives, but that had been rectified and there were 2 knife blocks now, and the Hinkle one is self sharpening - so no knife problems at all! We've stayed in a lot of short term rentals with our family, and this was definately a winner. If you have trouble climbing stairs be aware that the main living space is 1 flight up form the driveway in the front, and the pool/patio area in the back.

The home was nice and the views excellent. We were a family group of 12 (9 adults and 3 teens), the home was roomy and had great space for all. The house was more than satisfactory, but not pristine. My only complaint, and it is a small one, is that there is not a sharp carving knife in the house and no means to sharpen.

This home was a great space for the 10 of us. We loved the view from the decks and from our bedrooms. There was plenty of fun things to keep the 4 grandkids busy. We all loved the pool. It was great to have shade when needed. We loved the fresh floral bouquet that was it here when we arrived. It was wonderful to have this lovely home to share our 50th with all our family.

Great time with family of 6 kids and grandkids from 4 different states, plenty of room for the 14 of us and with the beach just steps from the pool and backyard why go anywhere.During my week their I went downtown Lahaina one time to eat, the rest of the time I stayed at the Villa and enjoyed the amenities provided. Suzy was one of the best host I've encountered in 4 years of me using VRBO, the only thing missing in the backyard were a couple of hammocks.
