Our stay was incredibly comfortable! The entire complex (including the garage) is well lit, clean and very well kept. The condo isn't missing anything and has great pots and pans and everything else you need. The beautiful brand new grills near the pool allowed us to grill fresh fish. The view is gorgeous and we loved the windows all across the front of the condo overlooking the ocean! The location is great and not far from activities and beaches. The nearby marina has some great restaurants and shops...not to mention the Maui Ocean Center just steps away. We will definately be back and maybe as early as next year! Mahalo! This condo location was great for us and is as pictured, but you will see some signs of wear in person. We were comfortable and had everything we needed to help us enjoy our stay. We found the management easy to communicate with and accommodating. It is a great location to watch the sunrise and in the afternoon when the balcony is shaded, it is a wonderful spot to sit and watch turtles in the water. We would certainly consider staying here again when visiting Maui.

Everything was exactly as advertised, including the view. We even had about 15 turtles playing in the water just below the balcony one day. Short drive from the airport and Kihei.
We didn't go to the west part of Maui as we were there within 2 months of the fires that destroyed Lahaina, though that wouldn't have been a long drive to get there either.
Great communication from the property owner and manager and check-in was a breeze. There are several rules for the building, but nothing out of the ordinary and nothing that cause any problems unless you are trying to have crazy parties late into the night. It's a quiet spot, very enjoyable and highly relaxing. Absolutely loved it!

Perfect corner unit location, huge open floor plan, Totally upgraded. Full glass front and mirrors to reflect views. Full morning sunrise over mountain. The Guest bedroom favorite as it is all glass/mirrors next to sounds of ocean. Elevator and assigned parking.

The Wall of Glass did not disappoint! There are more turtles than you can count from the lanai in the break in front of the house. It was a breathtaking view, perfect location, great communication- the host texted us to say the place was ready early if we wanted to check in earlier than 4pm! The beds are comfy, the air conditioning was cool but not cold, and they even left a welcome basket with homemade banana bread. They have everything you need for the beach- fluffy beach towels, chairs, umbrella. We could not have been happier with this place- as adults. I would not recommend for families with toddlers though unless you don’t open the windows- they are low to the ground and there is a ledge and a steep drop. I have already shared this listing with friends!

Just feet from the ocean had a constant breeze so much of the time you didn’t even need the air conditioning. The host (Barbara) was so nice. We arrived a little late and had no time to pick up supplies but when we got there there was a basket with a few snacks and plenty of coffee for the week. All l can say is Barbara and her place is the best!

Beautiful condo with breathtaking views! Centrally located in Maui. Complex is clean, safe with a wonderful heated pool. Kitchen has everything you need, especially for longer stays. We rented a larger vehicle and had to park in visitor parking. Condo comfortably slept 6 (sleeper couch). Will be returning and would rent this unit again. Barbara was very responsive with questions.

This place was truly spectacular! Within 5 minutes of arrival my daughter said "We are staying here the next time we come to Hawaii!" The views were spectacular. Enjoyed watching the turtles in the evenings. It was every bit as wonderful as described in the listing and then some! You may find cheaper listings but this one will be hard to beat and is worth every penny! Don't hesitate, just book it!

Three generations- mother , daughter and granddaughter. The condo was as lovely as the pictures, with everything you could possibly need. We really appreciated the beach and snorkeling equipment- it made the casual activities so much easier. The grounds and pool were beautifully kept and of course- sea turtles!!

This is the most beautiful location to stay. We sat on the lanai every morning to watch the turtles. It's a nice quiet condo to stay in for older people. Tantes restarant is just a walk away with great happy hour. The beach is within walking distance and so is the little store(which makes breakfast and lunch) Barbara our host is always there for us when we need her. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend

Central location to everything. We saw turtles swimming in the harbor all day from our linai. We did not turn the TV on or listen to music all week because all we wanted to listen to are the waves crashing on the rocks. We would return here in a heartbeat! Thank you Barbara:)

We’ve been to Maui & the other islands many times and this condo did not disappoint. It’s in a quiet area, and a convenient location for exploring the rest of the island. We walked to Maalaea General Store every morning to pick up breakfast and a few lunches. The condo was clean, comfortable and very well stocked with anything you might need. Listening to the waves as we drifted off to sleep each night was so relaxing. The underground parking was nice and kept our rental car cool & protected from the hot sun. During our stay we went on whale watching trips & a private helicopter trip to see the whales, but being able to watch them all throughout the day from the lanai was a major highlight of our trip. The views were amazing. There are binoculars in the condo, but we brought our own and saw so many whales. As others have mentioned, there are turtles in front of the condo that we watched daily. We counted 12 one morning! We honestly didn’t want to leave the lanai to go off exploring. We’d highly recommend this particular condo and wouldn’t hesitate to book it again.

We absolutely loved this property! It is in a great location and is exactly as described. The condo is the best stocked place we’ve ever stayed at and the beds were very comfortable. The only slight issues were the pullout couch…needs to be replaced probably…and the guest bathroom towels (smelled terrible) but Barbara had them replaced within an hour of our asking for new ones. The communication with Barbara and her associates was top notch. We will be back!

The condo is exactly as it described online. Clean and has plenty of kitchenwares. The basket left for us was really nice. The condo location is in the middle between Lahaina and Wailea - 20-25 minutes drive. The beach is about 5 minutes walk and it is very clean but rocky. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

Everything you could possibly need is provided for you. Barbara and team went above and beyond first to anticipate your needs that you don’t need to call them for anything and if you did, they were easily reachable and very accommodating and friendly. I have stayed at about 10+ properties between VRBO and Other sites and this is by far the best I have stayed at. I was so sad to leave.
But already planning my next trip to Maui and will only stay here.

1st, let me say that Barb was great to work with. We booked the condo in 2019 for a 2020 vacay. Covid killed those plans and Barb was so accommodating....we appreciated that as there was so much stress about how the whole trip would work under new guidelines.
The condo itself felt like home. It had everything we needed including beach chairs, towels, and some snorkel gear, fully stocked kitchen wares and laundry in the unit.
We loved sitting on the Lanai and watching the turtles below. The condo is in Maalea harbor which is not bustling with tourists so the area is very quiet. There is a couple of good restaurants within walking distance (try the Papaya Seed salad dressing Tantes Fish Market).
We didn't use the pool or the BBQ but could have and they looked nicely maintained.
We would definitely recommend this condo and Barb to a friend and will likely try to rent again in the future.

Checklist complete!
Sleeping while listening to the waves crash against the seawall is something every decent human deserves.
Having a volcano silhouette in your sunrise is something every good human deserves.
Sounds good, yes? Well, this is the place. Situated in the quiet Maa'laea harbor. This condo of Barbs is perfect.
The pictures are nice. The experience is nicer.

The wall of glass is absolutely as advertised, the sunset views from that room can absolutely not be beat. Overall nice condo with lots of things inside, and only a couple of downsides.
PROS:
-Nice sized patio with four chairs plus two lounge chairs that has the same views as the wall of glass room, we saw tons of turtles swimming right below us
-The inside of the unit itself was surprisingly gigantic, plenty of room to unpack and decompress
-Kitchen (also huge) had tons of gadgets and tools, you could absolutely cook your own great meals and enjoy them in the condo
-Unit had tons of beach towels and toys AND an umbrella which was a fantastic surprise as we really needed one, beach chairs, coolers, etc.
-Location is right in the middle of the island, so it's no more than 45 minutes to the northwest area or the south area and less than 30 to the airport area.
CONS:
-We picked this unit specifically because it had AC, which we filtered on when we searched. When we arrived, there was a note saying it could not go any lower than 72 degrees. We needed a unit with AC because one of our party was pregnant, and she said she could barely sleep at 72 degrees, and I felt the same (not pregnant, obviously).
-We had an issue where the hot water lasted a maximum of 10 minutes of one shower running only on warm, 5 minutes if it was any hotter or two people tried to shower. It's a two bedroom unit with two full bathrooms, so that was a big surprise, and meant 2 of our 4 were taking fully cold showers every single night...maybe that was an issue with the water heater and isn't normal, I'll leave that to Barb to comment on if she'd like, we figured it wasn't worth bothering her with during our short stay.
-The central location was nice as I mentioned for not being too far from all the major areas of the whole island, but it did mean there was almost nothing very close, really only one little market/deli place in walking distance and it had odd hours. Everything closed early, including the closest gas station, so just a heads up.

Amazing views from all rooms in the house, we could see 20+ turtles every night from our balcony, which was amazing! The condo is centrally located, we could get Kihei in about 8 minutes Lahaina in 15 and the airport in 15, would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely loved our stay in Barbs condo. For our first time in Maui were weren't really sure where we wanted to stay since we had planned to do things on all ends of the island. This place was a great central location to everything we wanted to do. Super clean! The views are incredible, as pictured and even better in person. From the balcony, we were spoiled with a gorgeous sunrise every morning, sea turtles, surfers and the moonrises were an added treat. The bed was comfortable in the Master bedroom. My friend thought the guest bed wasn't as comfortable. The place is loaded with all you would need to cook in the kitchen, lounge, and head down to the beach. I really felt like I was on vacation staying here. Definitely recommend this place!

We had the pleasure of staying at this property for 4 nights, with 5 adults, only one couple. The bedrooms were very nice and the condo has 2 full bathrooms and a nice washer and dryer. There was ample room for all of us and the views were absolutely amazing especially sun rises and sun sets.
The location of the condo is very convenient. Only about 20 minutes to the airport, only an hour and a half to reach the summit of Haleakala, and 30 minutes to Lahaina. We spent one day on Oahu to visit Pearl Harbor and the close proximity of the airport was perfect with only a 40 minute flight.
This was our second visit to Maui and I would definitely stay in the same property if we ever have the chance to visit again.

We have been to Maui six times over the past 30 years, always staying in the Maalaea area, and Milowai 307 by far is the best place we have stayed. Everything about it is as described from the amazing view to the wall of glass. Very clean, well maintained, with top quality appliances, a comfortable lanai, and well outfitted. Includes many “little things” such as not having to worry shop for dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, or TP. Also supplied are four comfortable beach chairs, an umbrella, a large ice chest, some boogie boards and beach towels. Having a water filter in the fridge was a huge plus for us, for the first time visiting Maui we didn’t have to buy a large pack of plastic water bottles to be tossed after using. Previous occupants left seasonings, oil and vinaigrette, we in turn left an almost full bottle of olive oil. The only thing we missed was a sound system so we could listen to music (either MP3 or CDs); but the TV gets probably a thousand channels including music channels so we just tuned on the TV when we wanted music.
And yes, like other reviewers have said there were turtles swimming down below almost every afternoon. On one day we counted eight or more (five popped their heads out of the water in seemingly synchronization). Maalaea gets a fair amount of wind, but that is not a big deal; Maui is windy everywhere all the time.

This property was great for our family of 5... it was a great location centrally located with most of the "hot spots" within a 10 min drive. All the amenities you will need including boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, and some snorkel equipment located in the condo. The views were impressive from the balcony. - Beach not swimmable (but can walk 10 minutes for that, and tons of awesome beaches are a short drive away)
- Maalaea is, as many have noted, a particularly windy region of Maui (but it's a warm wind, of course).

We had stayed in this building before but wanted to get closer to the water. This unit does not disappoint, the highlight every day was watching the turtles from the lanai! The proximity to the harbor was great as we took two charters out that week and it is not even 3 minutes to walk there. Beach Bums is a great place to eat as well and nice that you don't have to drive. When we got to the condo we were impressed with the cleanliness and the welcome basket from Barb. The unit is well equipped with great appliances and new bathrooms and all the extras that you could ask for. We would definitely come back to this unit again. Thanks also Barb for accommodating our late check out as our departure was not until 11 pm!!! Your response time with questions is also super fast!

Ease of access to the highway allowed for easy travel around the island. Proximity to Lahaina and the Wailea beaches made this the perfect spot to explore and enjoy the island. The Pali trail is walking distance and one of the best views on the island.
Magnificent views of the bay are extraordinarily both day and night, with turtles and various marine life right outside your lanai.
Lots of space in the condo to relax and enjoy the gorgeous Maui evenings. Really comfortable beds, spacious showers and a washer/dryer combo that came in handy.
We enjoyed this condo so much we spent many evenings playing games and star gazing from the Lanai.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo beside the Maalea'a harbour. The condo itself is well set-up with great rooms for two couples, and big screened windows so you can sleep with the ocean breeze blowing over you. The sea turtles love to feed on the rocks along the shore, and it was fun to watch them at all times of the day. The best perk (given that it was whale season) was the proximity to the harbour and the Pacific Whale Foundation. We went on a couple of early morning (sunrise) whale watches and appreciated that our check-in spot was only 5 minutes walk away. So many whales, it was amazing. We could also watch them from our lanai. Maalea'a is also a great central location from which to explore the rest of the island.
The one suggestion we would make is the addition of movable shade on the lanai (maybe a pull-down sunscreen blind?) to allow for more comfortable outside seating in the morning when the sun hits that side of the building directly. We would highly recommend this condo to others,.

This is a large condo with a very open feel. The beds were very comfortable with lots of different pillows to choose from. The view can't be beat and even from the master bedroom you can wake up to it. The only drawback for some might be the bedroom with all the windows only because it has a large sliding wall that's not sound proof. So if you're a light sleeper, pick the master! But it was that same wall, being able to be opened and tucked away that made the view so fabulous. If you go to the Aquarium near by, go when they they feed the sharks and stingrays............that was really great.....along with the turtle talk given at certain times too. We had all we needed there. It was very quiet comfortable, and safe. Oh I forgot to mention we saw 20 turtles out front every afternoon for 5 nights, floating in the water, and it's nice to be able to take the short walk over to the harbor for a quick bite. Beautiful place to go and we'd return in a minute.
