Upon entering your vacation paradise, you will notice the large glass sliding doors, these doors will disappear into the wall and invite the outdoor and indoor living spaces to become one. There are separate spots on the lanai to enjoy your morning coffee, grab some sun in comfortable chaise lounges by your private pool/spa, or sit in the main lanai area on comfortable love seat and chairs to watch the ever-revolving beauty in the nature that surrounds you. The panoramic ocean view is directly to the West of the lanai, cloud-shrouded Hualalai Volcano to the South, Kawaihae harbor and a glimpse of Maui to the North, and the lovely city of Waimea and the green hills of the Kohala Mountains to the East. The view is guaranteed to change constantly!
The lanai also contains your private salt-water plunge pool and spa. This is an ideal spot to sit and enjoy the sunsets and sunrises as well as take a quick dip to cool off or a relaxing soak after a day in the sun!
Two master suites on separate ends of the home grant the ultimate in privacy, including walk-through outdoor showers, yet, the communal rooms will bring your family & friends together. The two suites each contain a California king-sized bed and large, dual vanity sink bathrooms.
The third guest room boasts two queen sized beds and all bedrooms have their own walk-in closets and private bathrooms. There is also a powder room for your use.
Each bedroom has its own smart TV and Sonos sound system for your viewing & listening pleasure. There is also a large flat-screen smart TV in the living room with the Sonos sound bar as well.
The great room contains a wet bar and a large kitchen island with bar stool seating and a formal dining room area and a more informal dining setting on the lanai.
The gourmet kitchen is well- stocked and ready for your dining pleasure or a quick meal on the run as you head out the door for an adventure. The appliances are Wolf and Sub-Zero and include a wine refrigerator and an outdoor refrigerator to maximize your enjoyment, no matter what part of the house you are in! Every imaginable accessory and gadget has been included.
The lanai also boasts a Wolf six-burner grill, including rotisserie, There is a fresh fish market in the Kawaihae harbor area, an approximate 10 minute drive, so you can grill the best locally caught fish in this luxurious setting.
There are three air conditioning zones to allow personalized comfort. Wi-Fi is available throughout the home, of course.
Wai'ula'ula is a secure, gated community located within the Mauna Kea Resort property. You can also take advantage of the amenity center and use their large, salt water infinity-edged pool and hot tub, separate kid pool, cooking center, indoor kitchen, reading, game and television areas, and finally a fitness center and changing rooms.
The VIP Amenity Package is available to our guests for a flat rate of $75.00 per day for the Villa. This package will grant access to both the pools and beaches at the Mauna Kea and Hapuna Prince Resorts. This options also includes 36 holes of championship golf and a tennis center at a discounted rate, workout facilities, and two of the top-rated white sand beaches on the Kohala Coast, including chaise lounge chairs, umbrella and towel service and preferred parking. Guests may also visit both beaches without paying the VIP Package rate, but, will do so without the perks as outlined above.
The departure housecleaning fee of $400.00 plus tax will be added to your total VRBO rent.
