We felt right at home in this condo. It was the perfect location, right in the middle of all destinations. It was in a quite area. Although no beach right in front of the property, there is a small beach just a short distance and a little further walk a bigger beach. But we have people with limited mobility, so we prefered the view over beach. But there are a bunch of tide pools to see all kinds of ocean life. The owners were quick with communication and so kind. They also have all kinds of extras that I've not had in other units, like some cleaning supplies, first aid, etc. That came in handy! The beds and pull out couch was comfy. The full time residents are so kind and welcoming. I would book again! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

We stayed at this condo for approximately 13 days. The condo was clean and was stocked with amenities and had a wonderful view of the ocean with a nice clean pool within 50 feet. And was spacious enough to fit our family. The location was ideal and we made many trips to Kihei and north of Lahaina.

We came to Maui to visit family. This ground floor walkout condo, near the pool showed off an awesome sunrise over the bay every morning with sea turtles splashing about. A beautiful peaceful setting that was very enjoyable for all of us. Host very responsive.
A short walk to Sugar Beach at the end of the road, is a beach lovers paradise. Thanks Richard for making your place available & being such a great host. There’s so much to enjoy on Maui - or you can do nothing.
I never knew I wanted to visit the Hawaiian Islands. Well worth the grueling flight from the Midwest.

The pictures do it justice. It's as advertised. Great location with a beautiful view and in the afternoon when it's low tide, walk to the water's edge and see the sea turtles swimming near the lava rocks.

I stayed with my husband and daughter at Ma'alaea property. This was our last weekend before moving off the island after packing up our home and getting and settling our business on island.
We wanted to spend our last weekend in a spot where we could relax, have a bbq with a few friends and enjoy the beautiful views and open air Ma'alaea has to offer.
Since I have skin cancer / a service animal, I needed a place where I would be able to do this and still have the access to shade and allow my dog to be accommodated as well.
Property management were very kind responsive, from booking and accommodating my needs and help in resolving a little issue with door lock upon arrival.
Home was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay.
The only areas I found needing attention
1. A lot of baby roaches in the kitchen area. Which living in Hawaii is a normal occurrence, but suggest to have this treated soon.
2. AC unit heat made it impossible for anyone to sit on the lanai area and enjoy the view while AC was on, My husband and daughter was so thoughtful and bought and put up a pop up tent for me to sit under, just beyond the flow of heat, not realizing this was not allowed. I was disappointed not able to sit outside to enjoy the open air and views, due to sun exposure. property should redirect AC unit heat flow and condo management should provide open air shade.Overall condo is in a great location, clean/comfortable and recommend.

We had a blast in Maalaea. The condo is conveniently located. It was a great base for our family vacation. The beach nearby had some great snorkeling. We saw several turtles right off the lanai. Our family of 6 (3 kids aged 4, 9, and 10 plus my mother) enjoyed the amenities (beach towels, toys, chairs, snorkeling gear).

Great views!! Condo is well stocked with everything you could possibly need to enjoy a beach vacation including chairs, beach towels and snorkeling equipment - much appreciated! Our last afternoon we hung around on the property and sunned ourselves by the ocean on lounge chairs on the beautifully manicured lawn area. We watched at least 10 plus turtles feeding on the nearby coral! Peaceful and relaxing!

My friend and I stayed two weeks at this condo. It was beautify furnished and had a fully stocked kitchen with everything we needed for our stay. It was very clean and well maintained. It was wonderful to have a ground floor ocean view which we enjoyed every day. The grounds were beautify and kept up well. The condo is in walking distance to the marina, shopping and restaurants which made it nice on days we didn't want to get in the car to go anywhere. The condo is centrally located a short drive to Lahaina or Kihei or Paia Town. We loved that it was not located in the high tourist traffic areas. I would stay here again and would recommend this condo to friends and family. Thank you Richard and Jackie for your hospitality and a wonderful time.

We finished a wk at this fabulous condo! Amazing views and great proximity to airport, sightseeing, and shopping. Owners were very easy to work with and the property was exactly as expected . Well equipped to meet our needs. Locals in the complex were very nice and welcoming. Grounds were impeccable and grills kept clean. More quiet here than Lahaina or other areas which we loved! Enjoyed our relaxing stay immensely! Mahalo !

From the first engagement for reservation until the end this was a delightfully seamless process. The apartment was large, wonderfully furnished down to the beach chairs and towels. Beautiful first floor place located oceanfront with spectacular sunrise views of Haleakala and Maalaea surf break right out front. AC and ceiling fans keep the condo a perfect temp. Unit was spotless, remodeled, nice beach chairs and towels. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you’d need. Richard was ultra responsive and the sweet welcome note, gifts of tropical flowers, yummy snacks, and coffee, we’re a lovely surprise to help us celebrate our 35th anniversary. So kind of you. Our new favorite rental on Maui.

Everything was perfect! Walking out the back door to watch the sunrise every morning was magical.
We were close to the Marina for our days on the water and close to Kihei for dinners out and groceries. It was nice to be away from the tourist areas, it was quiet and the stars were bright.

Everything about our stay, the place and its lication was OUTSTANDing! Great central location made easy to get to everywhere! 15 mins from Costco,40 mins from road to Hana and right on the most beautiful beach we’ve seen.
Two separate bedrooms were quiet and clean, we couldn’t hear through the walls which was great considering the fact that the baby was staying in one of them.
Place has all the beach toys, boogie boards etc, so you don’t have to worry about it!
Well equipped kitchen and outside bbq allowed us to cook whenever we had desire.

10/10! Everything was perfect! The location was amazing! We saw turtles in the ocean everyday. The pool was a favorite of the kids. We loved being able to just walk out to the pool from the condo! There was everything we needed in the condos! The beds were comfy! Seriously would stay again! We also rented the condo next door and it was so great for our families to be so close

Everything went smoothly. Great property- just as advertised. Not particularly close to many shops. But right on the shore, nice sand beach a half mile away. The bogey boards, snorkeling gear, beach chairs, and beach towels were much appreciated. Very clean. Next to the marina if you decide to go on a boat.

Words cannot do this review justice but I will try.
WOW.... We loved everything about our stay. The unobstructed ocean views from the living room and lanai are spectacular and the pool and BBQ's are only steps away. Being on the ground floor was perfect and made enjoying the outdoors that much better. The Condo is well equipped with everything we needed and more (except a kettle...lol) The beds are very comfortable and I loved the reclining living room chairs. There is a beautiful secluded beach a few minutes walk to the left and the Ocean Center Aquarium and Marina a few minutes to the right.
Ma'alaea it is central to to everywhere and everything and the perfect location for a stress free vacation.
Richard was great to deal with and very accommodating, allowing us to stay a little later than the usual 11`:00 am check out
I highly recommend this property and look forward to renting it again when we return.
Thank you Richard and Jackie for sharing your beautiful piece of Paradise and helping to make my wifes 60th birthday even more special.

This condo was absolutely beautiful & the owners addressed any questions we had & were great about communicating with us! There were even a fresh flower arrangement, chocolates & cookies on the table when we got there with a hand written note from them. We will definitely stay here again when we go back to Maui!

We loved everything about staying here. Above all else, the view! Watched the sunrise from our lanai each morning. We have kids, ages 7 and 10, and the garden level unit allowed for easy outdoor time, and very convenient pool access (a few feet from the unit). There were not many young kids staying here, and it was a bit of an older crowd, so we did feel the need to be attentive to not making too much noise while in the pool. We enjoyed that it is not located in a bustling area. We drove 10-12 minutes into Keihi for dinner a couple of nights. If you don’t want to get back in the car at the end of the day, you will want to be prepared to cook (no close, good take-out that we could find, and very few walking restaurants of decent quality).
The unit itself was spotless. Beds were very comfortable. The beach supplies were awesome! Great cooler, chairs, snorkel gear, boogie boards, pool toys, life vests (you would have had to rent all of this individually). I texted with Richard the first day, and he was very friendly and responsive. A sweet welcome gift and note was left for us, which felt very inviting. This was one of the best overall rentals we have ever stayed in!

Thank you, Richard and Jackie, for an awesome stay at Ma'alaea Kai. The fresh flowers and treats welcomed us to a relaxing stay near the waterfront. The condo was very clean and updated. The beach amenities to use were a plus. My husband and I stayed with another couple and had plenty of space for the four of us. We enjoyed the relaxing mornings on the lanai whale watching and, in the evenings, listening to the ocean and feeling the warm breeze. We were steps away from the swimming pool and enjoyed looking for sea turtles along the waterfront.
Richard was very helpful in offering suggestions on activities and restaurants in Maui. Ma'alaea Kai is near the harbor for tours and a quiet location between Lahaina and Wailea. We will definitely keep Condo #110 in mind for a future stay. Mahalo!

1st floor, oceanfront, steps to pool, amazing views, wonderful outdoor space with perfectly manicured grass and grilling area....and the condo unit was nicely updated, spacious, comfortable and clean!
We traveled with small children and found this property very friendly for our needs. In addition to the above, the condo had all the beach tools and toys we needed (cooler, chairs, umbrella, toys, boards, snorkels, etc). The quiet beach 0.5miles down the road felt like a secret spot away from crowded beaches, had calm waters great for the kids to safely play, and ample shade trees for us adults to park our chairs and cooler for the day!! Ma’alaea was a short walk and was very nice and so much less crowded than Kihei and Lahaina yet still offered a few restaurants and shops.
Overall, if and when we come back to Maui we will be hard pressed to stay in another location. Thank you very much.

The condo was great, even better than the pictures. The welcome flowers, card and snacks were a very nice touch! Thank you! The location is central to everything. The grounds are very clean and the view is spectacular.
Only downside, we got locked out of the condo when we went outside in the evening to use the grill. The latch on the sliding glass door fell to the lock position. The onsite manager was called and he showed up within 10 mins. He said that the sliding glass locks on ALL of the condos at this location have this problem and he gets this call often. The upside, he came prepared and we were back in the condo and cooking dinner within 5 mins. He was very kind and helpful. Being locked out also gave us a change to meet and chat with the neighbors. All Good!
I'm looking forward to our next visit and we plan to stay in the same unit. The owners Richard and Jackie are lovely!

This was a great location in central between Lahaina and Kihei. The Condo was well maintained and just as we expected. The lanai was close to the pool and it was just steps away from the ocean.
