Beautiful property. Very clean. Everything as described. Truly paradise! We loved the resort amenity package which gives full access to resort amenities at both properties. Erika is awesome to work with. Many perfect restaurant and activity recommendations prior to arrival. Erika and on island property manager Eric extremely responsive and helpful. Huge thank you for quick information and updates regarding nearby fires during our visit. We truly felt the care and concern from both. We’d love to return! Mahalo!!

My family just returned from our 8 night stay in beautiful Hawaii. Our family of 6, including our 3 kids and my Mom, had the perfect amount of space. We loved the layout and the outdoor grill and patio. The beds are so comfortable I actually slept well on vacation, which is not easy for me! Erika was a dream to work with, so flexible, responsive and helpful. She gave me lots of great tips for enjoying the island with kids and is just a really kind person. We also had a great experience with her house manager who was also very responsive and helpful. We loved having access to the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel, it is a 5 minute drive with parking included in the Amenity Package. It was very busy over Spring Break! We have been to the hotel many times over the years and it was the busiest we have ever seen it, but I guess everyone else was looking for sun like us! I highly recommend this beautiful place to call home while you visit the Big Island!

Our family had the best time visiting Hawaii and staying at this beautiful villa. Centrally located between the two resorts, it was the perfect distance away to enjoy two incredible beaches on the Big Island! Our kids enjoyed the open floor plan - and the house was equipped with everything we needed. We will definitely return!

Beautiful condo with plentiful amenities and access to Mauna Kea and hapuna beach resorts. Plenty of space, gorgeous views and grounds. Definite upgrade to staying at hotel. Owner was easy to communicate with and pleasant.

We really enjoyed staying at this condo. The owner is especially helpful and nice. The property manager is responsive also. 6 minute drive to Mauna Kea Resort and other resorts and shops that are close by. Had a great time!

We were so thankful for the opportunity to stay in this home. It was incredibly large and comfortable and had ample room for us to spread out, as a family with 3 little kiddos. We were able to use both the Mauna Kea and Hapuna properties and we absolutely loved how easy and convient they both were. We also used the condo facilities which were gorgeous one day and wished we had more time to spend there! The homeowner was wonderful to work with and her on-island manager was kind and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again and would strongly recommend to anyone staying in this area!

We just returned from nearly a two week stay at this property. We have visited Wai'ula'ula several times and this time was once again exceptional. This property was well maintained. We loved the updated hardwood floors. The large sofas were extremely comfortable and clean and were perfect for our large group. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and more. Our kids loved the boogie boards and floats that were available to use. We chose a ground floor unit because we were traveling with a toddler and it worked out great! Erika was a joy to work with and quick to respond to any questions. We love the ability to use the amenity package and access the two hotels, pools, restaurants, etc. and we hope to return again (sooner than later)!

TLDR: We would stay here again.
Repeating the title, this is a beautiful home. It's situated on the hillside overlooking the ocean in a development with an adjoining golf course. With the patio door that spans about 15 feet, you can really open the house up to cool breezes and the sound of palm leaves rustling. Who knew that palm leaves in the breeze sounded like a soft summer rain? Maybe you did. From here, it's easy to make a trip up to Hawi, over to Weimea or down to Kona. We took a day trip through Waikoloa Village, over the saddle road to Hilo and Pahoa, returning via Honokaa and Waimea making sure to stop at the Waipio Valley overlook. On the way back down from Waimea, the sun was setting over the ocean and we got back in time to make supper and enjoy the evening breezes.
On the days we didn't want to go anywhere special, we could drive down to Hapuna Beach. It's all sand, in the area we frequented, and I was able to use one of the boogie-boards available here to have some fun in the waves.
There are connected TV's in the living room and all the bedrooms. If you tire of the pleasant evening or you're really hooked on a show, you can stream on most of the TV's. There is an amenity center just up the hill from here. We hear it has a pool and exercise equipment, but we haven't viewed it.

It was just as described in the listing. Super spacious and quiet and clean. We made ample use of the kitchen and the grill outside; when we had some trouble starting the grill, the property manager came by right away to check it out and even provided a video of how to turn it on and use it properly (super nice and helpful). Beds were very comfortable and furniture was nice too. The owner and on-island manager were very communicative and responded to all our questions promptly. Also the owner went above and beyond in accommodating the guests’ needs : when we realized following our departure that we’d left some pieces of clothing behind, she sent her property manager to the unit and had them shipped to our home address for free (despite our offer to pay for it). The only thing I would recommend for the owner is placing a few more pieces of beach equipment for guests. There were only two beach chairs and no umbrellas. I would definitely stay here next time on our trip to Big Island.

We loves the condo. It was very close to beaches. Had plenty of appliances to cook with. The patio was nice to sit and have meals at. Beds were comfortable. It was nice having plenty of bathrooms to shower in after the beaches. Laundry supplies were avail a big plus with a large family. We had a family of 7 there. The kids loved the beach gear provided. Communication was easy and always responded quickly. If we ever get back to Hawaii we would definitely look to stay again.

This was our families first trip out of CA since pandemic. It was a great choice. The home was spotless. Using the Mauna Kea/Hapuna amenities was well worth the extra money. Although prepare for possible high surf this time of year. Overall very enjoyable stay.

My family and I spent a glorious 11 nights in this property in the run-up to Christmas. With 2 young kids under 6, the spaciousness of Erika’s place and it’s proximity to Kauna’oa and Hapuna beach cannot be beat.
Erika was a wonderfully responsive and accommodating host. I could tell from her interactions with me that she truly cared about her renters and was committed to providing the best stay possible.
Christmas 2021 in Mauna Kea was the perfect end cap to the year. We can’t wait to be back next Summer!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Plenty of space for us to unwind and easy access to both Mauna Kea and Hapuna hotels. It’s always better to have a car in Hawaii for off-campus adventures - so very happy to have parking spot & parking pass at both hotels. Hosts are lovely & responsive. Highly recommend!

Condo was very nice. 2 master bedrooms with attached shower, tub and toilets were perfect for multiple couples. Mauna Kea is a beautiful facility. Both hotels are great - Mauna Kea and Hapuna. Played both courses with Mauna Kea being one of the best courses on the island. Hikes along the beaches are great and easy to get to. The pool and gym at the location are very nice and spacious.
Erika (owner) and Eric ( Property Manger) are very responsive. We had a few issues that were immediately addressed and fixed. (coffee maker, ice machine, refrigerator all had issues, but they we fixed by the next day) Erika even offered to send me a Starbucks gift card because the coffee machine broke.
Overall a very nice place to stay with a very nice and attentive owner.

TV needs help re the cable. The couches in the living room are very uncomfortable. There are no table lamps in the living room to read by. Otherwise, we loved it. Also, the lock box cannot be read if it is dark.

This property was just perfect for my wife and I, and our adult kids. It is very well maintained and has a high quality kitchen with Wolf Appliances. Lovely patio area with a view of the ocean in the distance. If you want the resort experience then purchase the amenity package. However, if like us you plan to use this condo as a base for exploring the island, I’d say save your money. We had a great time visiting other beaches and the Kona area so we didn’t buy the package.

This condo was perfect for our stay. Worked really well for our 3 kids under 5. It was well equipped and convenient. The condo furnishings were really child friendly. There were 2 master suites which worked great for us and the other adult that traveled with us. The kids room was perfect with two twins and a comfy futon. It’s on the first floor, so the kids played in the little grass yard and patio area. It was close to the fitness center and pool on the property. We got resort passes and spent most days at either the Westin and Mauna Kea restaurants, beaches and pools. Easy drive to Waimea. Easy checkin, parking, checkout and responsive hosts.

Communicating with Erika beforehand was incredibly easy and made the check-in process very smooth. Condo was great - immediately across the street from the "community" pool and fitness center. We cooked every night so the grill and kitchen were important considerations - and they were top notch. Overall an excellent experience and would highly recommend.
