We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at this beautiful and perfectly furnished oceanfront condo. The owner (Diane) provided us with everything we needed and more to celebrate our wedding anniversaries (my wife and I - 36 years) and my sister and her husband's 38 year anniversary (including some arrival gifts - fresh whole pineapple and box of delicious Hawaiian chocolates). The location of the condo was perfect for the things we wanted to do. (a few minutes from the Maui Aquarium and Maui snorkeling tour boat, restaurants, shops and more). Also, it was only 16 mins away from the airport. We really appreciated Diane's great communication and detailed information (of Maui attractions, restaurants, grocery stores, shops, etc).. The condo is only 10 steps away from the ocean and the ocean view from her condo was amazing. We had a wonderful 5 star experience at Diane's condo. Thank you very much Diane!

The 2 bedroom 2 bath groundfloor unit is beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The welcome gifts are a super sweet touch too. Diane is a wonderful hostess and we communicated frequently. We had originally cancelled our plans to Maui as we were supposed to be staying in Lahaina. Then we considered going to another island but after hours of research and thought we thought that supporting Maui and staying on another part of the island felt like the right thing to do. I was thankful to come across Diane’s listing and booking a pretty last minute stay. We had an amazing time staying here and loved the central location. It seemed to be easy to get anywhere. Everything was no more than 15-30 min away. You cannot beat the view! The sound and sights of the ocean soothes my soul! I didn’t need to sleep with any noise machine or loud fan because the sound of the ocean was enough to lull me to sleep. Loved all the amenities like the beach chairs, boogie boards and sand toys for our little guy. Loved the smart TVs I’m every room! Sugar Beach next door was amazing! Thank you Diane :)

We had new towels with lots of beach towels and extra sheets if we needed them. Kitchen was well stocked. All appliances were new and worked beautifully. a few cleaning issues like food and dirt under the sofa cushions. the beach in the pictures wasn't there but I am wondering if that is a seasonal thing. I loved the location. Close to the Maui Ocean Center which is a must see. I would rent this condo again.

You can tell Diane takes a lot of pride in her property. Her communication was great and everything was easy to understand. You can’t beat this location and it is hands down the best stocked rental we have ever been to. There was beach and swimming equipment for our days on the beach, a cooler for our trek to the mountains. Can’t be beat. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we ever found ourselves back on Maui.

Our Family just stayed for a week and really enjoyed this Condo. Breakfasts and Dinners out on the patio watching the waves and seeing Sea Turtles a few times. We had a couple small issues arise while we were there, but Diane took care of us fast and got them resolved as quickly as possible. The kitchen had everything we needed. The washer and dryer were a blessing to be able to take care of towels and swimsuits. This was the perfect place to be for our first trip to Maui. It was central and allowed us to explore all over the island and have a place to get back to easily. It was also very close to the airport. Highly recommend this place if you want to see everything Maui has to offer.

Being near maalea harbor ( we dive ) was also a plus. very chill vacation away from the hustle and bustle of big resorts which is what we were looking for

We had a fantastic stay at this Condo. Everything was exactly as we needed. Lots of room in the condo, and everything was clean and orderly! The owner, Diane, was so helpful and attentive to everything. What nicer way to spend a vacation than starting every morning on the lovely Lanai looking over the ocean, it just doesn't get any better than this. The kids loved the swimming pool and LOVED going to the beach - playing in the sand and the waves. I honestly don't think we could have found a nicer place to spend our vacation. My only regret was that we didn't stay longer.

Our trip to Maui was a delight and Diane's property was a big part of our enjoyment. The condo location is next to Sugar Beach which was perfect for fun at the beach, walks on the beach and watching whales in the bay. The condo had a well stocked kitchen and comes with lots of beach gear and sand toys. My grandchildren loved the variety of kids games and toys. Diane was a very good communicator and host. We would definitely come back here again.

This main floor unit with its extra large patio area offers excellent whale viewing opportunities, as well as ease of access to the pool, barbeque, and sun bathing/shaded reading areas. If you enjoy meeting new people, this location cannot be beat as we were often greeted by other renters who were also enjoying this condo complex and eager to share their adventures and recommended island highlights.

We had a lovely stay at Diane's condo. She has it down to a science as far as clear organization and providing all the little items needed in a home. She was a friendly, helpful communicator, and I appreciated the guide she sent beforehand with info about the condo, the area, transportation, and local restaurants. We were walking distance to the Ocean Center which had a memorable 3D whale footage experience. We also walked to the harbor to book a snorkeling trip to Molokini which I highly recommend! The central location made it easy to take car trips to Haleakala, Lahaina, and Hana. The heated pool, which is just steps from the condo, was clean and open until 9 PM, so we spent a lot of time enjoying the stars in the pool. We came right after New Years and found great weather and less crowds at attractions. Diane's condo provided a great home base with a beautiful view of the ocean.

Our family had a great time here. This was our second stay at this particular complex. The condo is centrally located on the island, so it’s just a short trip to anywhere you might want to go. The patio is steps from the water which has great views of the sunset and sunrise. Also, the shore fishing is great, my son and a caught a variety of species off the rocks near the patio. We will definitely try to rent this place for our next trip to Maui.

The condo was as expected and wonderful. Very clean and centrally located for excursions all around Maui. We watched whales in the water in the morning from the back porch and swam with turtles at the adjacent beach! There was snorkeling equipment for adults and even our 7yo. Boogie boards and pool noodles too. All the basic spices and a fully equipped kitchen, including coffee machine, wok, rice cooker and ninja blender, even a coffee bean grinder for local Maui coffee beans. The grills in the courtyard were really nice too. We bought groceries at Walmart and Safeway, and got fresh local fruit, sauces, and coffee beans from the farmers market.
We went end of November to beginning of December, and as described, the sand was out/washed away in front of the condo complex. This was explained in the VRBO description, so we were prepared and took the steps down the sea wall adjacent to the next property. This method was easy for us and our 7yo to navigate, but I wouldn’t suggest this way for people with unstable joints or unsteady feet. Rest assured there are other ways to get to that beach along a path at the front of the condo that would just take a little bit longer, and we did see people of all ages from moms with babies in their arms to 80 year olds taking the sea wall path.
The condo complex and Maalaea were very quiet, which was our favorite part—it was a great place to relax, take long walks on the beach, drink a cup of coffee or glass of wine watching the waves. From Maalaea you can get anywhere on the island easily. Definitely recommend Kumu farm for fruit and treats, and the restaurant offers amazing food and gorgeous tropical Mountain view. Paia and Lahaina for gifts and souvenirs (don’t buy at whalers beach—same stuff but expensive!). The adjacent beach or Kapalua or baby beach in Lahaina for great family swimming and snorkeling, very calm for kiddos. Escape the heat and some really pretty hikes on West Maui. Beautiful sunsets and really cool tide pools in Wailea and Makena.
We would definitely come back. The condo was wonderful and the trip was a dream come true.

We were a group of 6. Husband, wife, 2 daughters 16 & 20 and their 2 friends. This space fit us perfect. We love sugar beach so much so it was nice to be-able to easily walk right to it. We are not morning people but hearing the waves out the bedroom window was an amazing motivator to get up early and sit out on the lanai. Watched several beautiful sunrises coming up over Haleakala. Did some snorkeling and saw some cool fish and while walking the beach one morning we saw some turtles trying to come to shore! The heated pool was a plus when we came back in the cooler evenings to swim. Diane was very easy to contact if we had any questions. Everything was just perfect! Thank you again for letting us stay in your condo!

Since the owner was terrific, we’re sorry to write this, but the condo needs a deep cleaning (though it was broom clean), fresh paint throughout, and lots of repairs and replacements (torn screen, taped window, missing and loose valences, frayed curtains) because the overall effect is shabbiness. And the beach access was not as pictured; it was precarious.

We could not be happier with our stay here. Diane was so helpful and provided all the info we needed. The view from the condo is amazing and the waves crashing up against the sea wall were gorgeous. Being able to walk out the sliding door onto the lanai and have a full view of the ocean and island was priceless. The beach, as stated in the listing, is a short walk past the next complex. High tide doesn’t leave much of a sandy beach but low tide reveals a bit more. It didn’t hinder us at all and we enjoyed walking along the beach in the mornings. It’s a short drive (15-25 min depending on traffic) into Kihei where there are lots of restaurants and shops and many beautiful snorkeling beaches. We really enjoyed Sugar Beach coffee, and the ABC stores had lots of souvenirs for home as well as basics. The condo itself was really comfortable with plenty of seating. I’d searched for a condo with enough places to sit for our group of four and this was perfect. We had plenty of space, all the things we needed (beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards etc). The kitchen is incredibly well stocked and we had all we needed. The beds were comfortable and the AC made it a cool retreat during the heat of the day. I would absolutely stay here again, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful spot to connect with family or friends that’s removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown Kihei. Also keep an eye out for sea turtles, they love to pop their heads up and check you out as you enjoy your morning coffee.

Condo was exactly as pictured and very clean. Diane has thought of everything you may need during your stay and you really only needs to bring your clothes and have a great time! Excellent communication from the time we reserved until the time we checked in, with upates on mask/vaccination requirements to recent storms. This condo is centrally located so it is EASY to get any place on the island with little drive time. It is also right ON the water! You probably would never find a closer unit to the ocean. The sound of the waves is constant here and was my absolute favorite. Only unexpected item was that people are constantly walking in front of the unit to get to the beach all day long. The amount of foot traffic didn't bother us as we also enjoy people watching, but make sure you close the curtains or you are decent at all times because you will look up and they are literally steps from the door. This may change when the seawall construction is completed, however for now you have access to miles and miles of beautiful,
quiet, uninhabited beach right from your door. It doesn't get better than that! Overall, we were incredibly pleased with our choice and Diane was an excellent host. Already looking forward to returning. Thank you for sharing your lovely condo Diane! It was a family memory to last a lifetime!

Unit was very central to activities on Maui. The walk-out lanai was great for watching others surfing and was adjacent to the steps going down to the beach. This property is so close to the beautiful blue ocean that the waves are a constant reminder to relax. A little tricky to get to the beach but once you figure it out, it’s act easy just be careful. Lovely property with shade right by the beach and a really nice pool. Good for travelers with kids. Also Maalaea Harber has good eats and many expeditions so close by. Great location. Washer-dryer came in handy and kitchen well-equipped. Love the new floor in LR, kitchen and master. We wondered why not also replace the old Looking carpet in the 2nd BR? We only used the AC units once or twice otherwise the breeze through the condo was enough and really nice. The only things I can say that could improve this condo is to renovate the bathrooms and do a more thorough cleaning Dryer lint trap was full and washer needs to have the clean cycle ran. We couldn’t get the sleep number bed to change at all but that could have been us.

Let me start the review by saying Diane is one of the best hosts guests can wish for: she is so meticulous, attentive and responsive the moment we contacted her for booking! She provided me with a complete booklet full of useful information which helped ensuring my Maui trip to be a wonderful one. Browsing through her property pictures and notes/markings also helped me to visualize surrounding views of the property, which presented a beautiful panoramic ocean scene with a promise of peacefulness. The property is in a prime central location: about 19 minutes south of the airport and offering shorter distance for driving east or west of Maui. Diane's condo rendered a homey vibe with cleaniness and comfort. Its wide lanai boasting a nice ocean view is a wonderful place for me to start my day with a cup of hot coffee in the early morning, and with a glass of fine wine in the late afternoon after a long day exploring Maui. I definitely come back some day to this place to see the whales from this lanai during winter months!

The condo is amazing with everything you could want being supplied. The additional area of concrete on the patio is wonderful and allowed for everyone (3 adults, 2 children) to sit on the patio and enjoy meals without feeling crowded. We were able to see a few whales in our stay while sitting on the patio and even saw one jump out of the water. The property is centrally located to many different attractions and allows short travel times to get to anywhere on the island. Thank you for having such a wonderful condo and having it available to rent! I will highly recommend this location and will look to stay here again in the future.

I did not realize this is not beachfront property in March. The access to the water was washed out so is now impossible for an older person. We had to drive a very short distance to use the beach. Approx 3-4condos down.

Perfect property for whale watching in February. We saw our first whale from the front room looking out the sliding glass door within 10 minutes of entering. The condo itself was so closet situated to the ocean we could listen to the waves as we fell asleep. We had a wonderful two weeks in this spacious and well equipped condo. We enjoyed the location, just steps away from an expansive sandy beach with relatively few people on it. I can’t find a better location than Diane’s place. We sleep soundly every night with real wave background sounds. The 2nd day around noon, a group of whales came near, and the same afternoon we spot a turtle swimming around very close too! Tell me about being lucky! Clean, convenient, the condo has everything you need. I can’t say enough about this magical place, all I can say is any length of vacation would still feel too short. Dream about coming back soon!

Beautiful view with short walk to the beach, beach has shade and is long enough for a nice walk. Location felt safe but there wasn’t anything close by for grocery shopping or essentials except 2 tiny stores. Good check in instructions, owner very responsive, well equipped, A/C in both bedrooms and LR, needs some updating and 2nd BR is small. We couldn’t get the sleep number bed to work. Sand chairs were very uncomfortable. Good location to get to most attractions.

Perfect location if you want a central location, viewing of turtles and whales, and a quiet community. Right on the beach. In the winter it is just a short skip to the side property to enter to the beach. The ocean center is right there in the community harbor which is fabulous!
Short drive to Kihei for shopping etc.

Area was clean and well kept. Grounds were nice. There are a lot of rules for the pool so read ahead of time!
We had a large storm role through the entire HI islands, extremely abnormal for the Maalaea area. There was excellent communication with the owner to keep the condo in good shape!
Would definitely stay here again if we are back in Maui!

One of the greatest things I love to do while coming to Hawaii is to listen to the ocean waves crashing in. it is absolutely the most meditating, calming experience. This condo had the best location for doing just that. We selected this condo because it was centrally located away from all our activities. Diane's condo is lovely and very comfortable. The proximity to the beach and the view are exceptional. Sea turtles are constantly in sight. The water is clear and refreshing. The aquarium that is within walking distance is awesome. It's small, but we stayed there for three hours. We couldn't have asked for a better location.
