Beautiful view of the Makaleha Mountains and Hanalei Bay off the balcony. Ocean view out the front door. Lovely area and close to golf course which includes a walking path.
The condo is very nice and everything you need in the kitchen, including lots of spices. Also provides beach towels and beach gear. Has a/c but we never used it because the days were mild and the evening cool. Stack washer/dryer in the kitchen was so convenient. King size bed was very comfortable.
Minutes away from Foodland grocery store which has everything you need.
Love the location in Princeville as you are close the Na’apali Coast and great hiking or head south to Kapa’a. Bubba’s burgers are very good. Also lots of restaurants and shops.
Po’ipu Beach is nice and has a blowhole. Continue on up to Waimea Canyon. Best to go on a clear day for the spectacular views!!

While not our first visit to Kauai, it was our first stay on the north shore. Definitely has become our favorite. Condo was great and well equipped. The beach gear traveled with us during our stay. Unique set up for a Studio, we always rent a one bedroom but this was fine. Location was great. Walked to Hideaway beach and there was also a great shore walk at the end by the new hotel. Most of our beach time was spent at Hanalei Bay which was only 20 minutes away. Would stay here again and recommend to anyone.

Overall great- would stay there again.
-Lock box tough to get key out at first, After an all day travel day, took a bit, but we figured it out.
-Parking can be tricky if another guest parks in your spot. Just keep the parking permit on your dash and you'll be fine.
-Spectacular sunsets right outside your door every night.
-Nice grocery store around the corner if you want snacks or ingredients to cook in the nice kitchen.
-Quaint deck to sit and veiw the beautiful moutains and listen to all the wildlife. So many birds here!
-The walks to great beaches were easy, but if you want to drive and park to get to a beach, very limited parking.
-Neighbors right next store, but didn't hear them-felt very private, even though we share the deck.
-and my husband could watch Sunday football by accessing his own YouTube account via the TV in the VRBO.
-Very pleased and loved our stay!

I can’t even say enough good things about this property! Steps away from an insane lookout for sunrise and sunset. Super clean. Great communication with the host. We absolutely loved this area of Kauai and will be coming back as soon as possible. Great stay for a great price.
Only little thing is that it is across the hall from another unit and you are able to easily hear through the doors. So make sure to bring sound machine for sleeping if you don’t want to potentially hear snoring during the middle of the night 😂

We rented unit 1 and 2 with a family of 5 that included teens. The units are clean and comfortable, gave everyone space, and were incredibly well equipped - washers/dryers, boogie boards, snorkel equipment, etc. They were slightly outdated in decor, but you don’t really care because the views are superb, the location is amazing, and Jim is the best - friendly, helpful, responsive and super accommodating. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to our friends.

House beautiful sunset and view. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything that you need. Enough space for everyone in our family. Could use extra towels, broom and dustpan so we could clean up after trip to the beach. Needs an exhaust at the bathroom. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

Our family of six stayed for a week -- family wedding, multiple excursions, and sightseeing. This location worked well for us as a base for all parts of Kauai. We greatly appreciated the host's
responsive communication both before our trip and upon arrival. We also appreciated the beach umbrella and chairs that we used on our snorkeling day. Two of us had equipment but two of us needed to use what was there. Kauai is simply beautiful; one of our favorite things was to take our coffee and walk across the street to sit on the bench in appreciation of morning!

My husband and I just had a wonderful 10 night stay in Paradise above the treetop! The condo was immaculate upon check-in. What a comfy stay. Bed was great! Very nice furniture like new. Kitchen had everything we could ask for. Great beach supplies available to use. The view from back lanai was heavenly and we enjoyed all the birds that came to visit. And the lookout spot across street provided breathtaking sunsets! This condo is within walking distance of Hideaway Beach, and so much more. We walked down to Hanalei Beach, to the Princeville shopping center, and many other places. We couldn’t ask for a better and more convenient place and will definitely stay again when we ever get back. Mahalo to our host and great housekeeper we enjoyed chatting with!

The condo was very clean and comfortable. It sits in a quiet neighborhood and there is a great place just across the street for watching sunsets over the ocean. Beach access requires a short but steep hike down to a beautiful little sunning and snorkeling spot. Beach chairs, towels, and gear is provided by the host. The host was immediately responsive to all of our questions both before and during our visit. We will definitely plan to be back!

Very nice property, we could see the potential for some awesome sunsets, but it rained or clouded up all 3 nights shortly before that time. Only minor comlaint...who the heck puts a dimmer switch on the bathroom lights? It's a little tab on the side of the switch. One of our kids must have hit it when we first got there. We spent all of the first night and next morning using the bathroom in almost darkness till i found the durn thing!

We loved this property! It was a great location to explore the north of the island. Parking was easy. The place was well-equipped. A family of 5 was very comfortable there for our stay. Beautiful view off the balcony, comfortable beds, very nice bathroom, gorgeous kitchen. Lots of dining space. I’m sure we will be back again someday!

This property was a great value for the money. It was a nice size condo offering a super Princeville setting.
The property manager was extremely great and responsive to any questions we had.

The condo was beautiful and clean and the kitchen has absolutely everything we could need or want!!!!! Close enough to walk to beach, easy communication. Only one downside the loft gets pretty warm while the lower level is cold even with all fans on. Kathy was amazing meeting us to give us a hat we left, above and beyond! Fantastic Manager! Thank you

Nice property with a view on the mountains from the lanai. Good for a family of 5. When we arrived, we had only 4 sets of towels but we communicated with the owner and someone brought an additional one on the next day. Microwave was not working and chairs in the kitchen are dated. Jim’s condo was in the most beautiful location. Ocean at one end and Na’Pali coast views off the back porch. Everything was spotless, comfortable and quiet. We couldn’t have picked a better place. The condo had everything you could ever need including snorkel equipment, boogie boards and beach towels. Would highly recommend this condo if you’re coming to to Kauai!

We loved staying in this unit. The location is fabulous, with proximity to the ocean, the beach, as well as a great view off the far end of the balcony. We were a bit disappointed when we realized we were In the furthest unit from the primo view. We simply turned our chairs to face
Hanalei Bay and the mountains, and we felt lucky that out neighbors hardly used their side of the deck. The benefit to our unit is that it has a full kitchen, but the neighboring unit has the best access to the spectacular vista. We also loved that Jim supplied us with snorkeling gear. Don’t miss Hideaway Beach!!!

Loved the stocked kitchen and in-unit laundry as well as the snorkel and awesome variety of beach gear. Kids loved the loft sleeping area. Entry directions were clear. Unit was very clean. Some of the dining chairs are showing their wear, and the sofa bed mattress was thin enough to be a bit uncomfortable to sleep on without extra padding. Area was very nice and so close to the ocean and mountains and very beautiful and manicured. Markets and restaurants were just a 10 minute drive away. Overall good stay. Little additional details like updated reading books (Hawaii guide was from 2012), nearby markets, recommended restaurants, and locals tips would have been helpful to have and help guests settle into the area faster. There was some printed info in the unit, but it was a bit short on details.

My kids and I loved this place so much. It was our first big trip with no other adults or friends and we couldn’t have picked a better or safer place to stay. Friendly neighbors, beautiful scenery, the beds (especially the king) were comfortable and we had everything we needed. Located close to a grocery store which was super convenient with 4 kids. The condo is in the perfect location for everything and still feels secluded at the same time. Truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again.

My family and I had a wonderful time at this property. The accommodations were accurately presented in the description. The community is quiet and just across the street is a beautiful and breathtaking view of the ocean complete with park benches to sit upon and enjoy the sight and sounds. The location is perfect for a homebase from which to launch your North Shore and Princeville adventures. The property was clean and tidy, and it had all of the amenities necessary for daily living. We also appreciated very much the bin of beach gear and chairs to use at the beach. Don't miss a visit to Hanalei and Ke'e beaches (get your reservation asap), the view at the Kilauea Lighthouse, and dinner/treats in Hanalei town, and mini golf at Anaina Hou Park - so much fun to be had! The nearby Foodland market in Princeville is a great grocery store when needed. I would enjoy being able to come back to this property in the future. Mahalo, and Aloha!

The only thing not so great about this property was the resident staying below us. When we arrived in the afternoon, she immediately complained in a rude manner to my wife, of making a great amount of noise the previous days--we weren't even there! What's the parlance these days? a real Karen. Also, the couple beside us acted like they owned the place: first, they teamed up with Karen to accuse us of making noise, and always propped the shared space front door open, even when we closed it--we have kids, we need privacy and safety. So, basically, a great place, but not such a great neighbordhood based on our experience. Probably nothing the owner can do in such a situation unfortunately.

We were told we could have a late ck’out since our flight wasn’t until 9:30pm. We then received calls and texts while enjoying the beach saying we needed to get our stuff out now. I had my phone muted as we wanted to enjoy our last peaceful day. I finally saw the phone light up so I checked what was going on. We were so thrown to receive the messages. I called and reminded the owner of his assurance and he didn’t believe me. We then sent him screenshots but he apparently didn’t ‘have time’ to read them or find them for himself until long after we had raced back to the condo so distraught trying to get everything gathered and out with no shower. The apology came too late. Was a very jarring and unpleasant end to an otherwise blissful vacation. Kathy was awesome, patient and understanding and unfortunately had to have her work day ruined as well due to the owner’s negligence.
The spot was beautiful and very reasonably priced. Love this magical part of the world!

Unfortunately we arrived to our stay and the place was not cleaned and the bed was recently slept in. Thankfully the host sent the cleaner over. The host did not respond to a question we asked before checking in, which we would have appreciated. The pictures are a little misleading; this place is not a stand alone home but connects to another, and you share the porch with another apartment. The condo has an excellent location with a great view on the back deck!

Wow! We had such an amazing time on the island. Jim’s place was exactly what we expected and perfect for our needs. The area was so pretty and close enough to a grocery store for shopping. I was traveling with my husband, my brother and best friend. We all slept comfortably and were ready to start each day well rested. The beach chairs and umbrella came in super handy on relaxing days on the beaches nearby. There were so many beautiful flowers, beaches, caves, birds, and local people across the island who made our trip magical. Thank you Jim for sharing your little slice of heaven with all of us.

The unit was so comfortable and everything we needed for our stay was provided. Recommend looking through the kitchen before grocery shopping as so many basics are there. There are beaches within walking /hiking. Highly recommend the overlook across the street for sunset views. We enjoyed the views while hanging out on the deck with our morning coffee/tea before we whipped up breakfast in the kitchen.

Ok...so the pictures do not do this sweet spot justice! It's extremely comfortable with beautiful little extras everywhere. For example the tub/shower is enormous and there was a new bottle of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There is a keurig and Jim includes Kauai grown coffee (which was delicious.) The decor is very cool with high-end finishes like woven window covers on sliders for the door to the lanai.
So the things most of us care about: was it quiet? Yes! I am a very, very light sleeper and I slept like the best sleep I've had in a long time. How's the bed? Like sleeping on a cloud! There's an enormous mattress pad so the bed envelopes you - also really soft, nice sheets. How's the location? Fantastic! As the description says, walkable to multiple beaches which we did. Its also a 15 minute walk to Queens Bath, which is awesome since there is zero parking at the trailhead. From the condo you can see the ocean from the back lanai and the front door. The best sunset I saw in Kauai was from the front door. Insane
We will 100% be staying here again and you should too!

This location was just perfect . Right outside the door we watched the sunrise and sunset overlooking the hills. We also found numerous paths to different beaches. All within walking distance. My stay had everything I needed. Hope I get to stay here when I come back

Jim's unit in Princeville was perfect for our family of 5. Once the AC and fans were on, the place was comfy and cozy. The beds were all very comfortable, and the view priceless. The kitchen is well stocked and our kids really appreciated the snorkeling gear and beach towels/chairs. Most of all, we absolutely LOVED the location - right near everything, Hanalei is a short drive away, Foodland is even closer, and Hideaway beach (best snorkeling out of 3 beaches we tried including Kee and Anini) was within a 10 min walk from the place (which was priceless since there are only 10 parking spots). The outlook across the street was a real treat during sunset, we did some star gazing at night as well. Jim, the owner, was very quick to reply to my messages, and the place was clean when we arrived. The kids really liked sleeping in the loft upstairs. We have stayed at many VRBO's, this one was excellent and we will definitely return! Thank you.

My family and I stayed in Princeville for a few nights. The condo was comfortable and had all the basics plus a bin of snorkel gear! The treetop views and sunsets were great! It is a quiet community and the sounds of nature greeted us and ended each day. Hideaways beach and queens bath were both in walking distance. We didn’t want to leave and hope to return!

Nice place to stay. Kitchen well stocked with everything including spices, foil, swan wrap, etc. Bathroom included body wash, shampoo and conditioner. A new umbrella and a cooler to use during your stay would be a nice addition. Beautiful view of the mountains. Was nice to have a washer and dryer for our use. Bed was confortable.

Everything was just like it was supposed to be. Good location for walking to beaches and hiking. The condo contained everything you could ever need for simple meals, laundry, snorkeling or beaching. It was bright, colorful and homey.

I could leave a lengthy review of how great Jim's place was for my Wife and I on our honeymoon but I would need more then the character limit for the review. 5/5 easily. We stayed on the North Shore for 6 days the South for another and by far would have loved to just stat at this location the whole time.
We felt safe at all times, had plenty and I mean plenty of room to relax either inside with the AC after the beach or out on the Lanai where we spent most of our breakfasts and lunches eating while enjoying the view.
There is snorkel gear and body boards along with an umbrella and chairs. We used all of these while we were here on our stay. ( I will mention maybe having more up to date body boards would have been nice since we rented after trying the ones in the home that didnt work well but not the end of the world along with fixing the little clamp on the umbrella ). Otherwise we had no other issues at all. If you even call those issues.
We will be back to this beautiful Island and will definitely stay here again if it is available.

This was our first time to Kauai and after researching many, many different listings for a rental, we settled on this property. We could not have been happier - what a gem!
The location, Princeville, is great and the view off the balcony is amazing! It is surrounded by lush greenery and to the north you can see Hanalei Bay. You might even catch a rainbow or two after a morning rain. I also really enjoyed watching and photographing the many colorful birds that were around, while enjoying my tea and just taking in the morning sunshine. On our last day we were even blessed to see the waterfall, completely unobstructed by clouds, that is on the mountain to the west of the property (looking off the balcony).
There was plenty of space for three of us, and my son especially liked the fact that he had his own "room" in the loft upstairs. The king bed is so comfy and the fact that this condo has an a/c unit, well, you can't put a price on that especially when it's time to sleep.
The kitchen is equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals and having a washer/dryer in the unit was so helpful!
We were also lucky enough to meet the owner, Jim, towards the end of our stay, and he could not have been more welcoming and pleasant. We had corresponded several times before our stay, as well as a few times during our stay, and he was very responsive and helpful.
We just loved everything about our trip and we will definitely be visiting again in the future! Thank you, Jim, for making our first trip to the island an amazing experience!

Great balcony view of Paridise! Clean well cared for condo! Only hassle was the neighbor parking in our parking space when we came home late on our last night due to a medical issue. We could not get a response from them. We did not know where to park so that we would not get a fine. After a futile 20 minutes of running around in the dark and rain a parking supervisor came by and explained the situation. He would not ticket us. He could not do anything about the parking space situation.

We could not have picked a better place in Princeville! The condo is clean and very welcoming, with a kitchen equipped with everything needed. The local market is nearby and a few nice beaches (including the amazing Queen's Bath are within walking distance). Across the street you can admire a breathtaking sunset any day the clouds allow it. We highly recommend this place!
