We just had the best vacation we’ve had in Hawaii yet! The place we stayed at was perfect - a beautiful waterfront room located right next to the Ma’alaea harbour with a great view of the bay! The property is very clean and conveniently located in a nice quiet area! Highly recommended staying here if travelling to Maui! We will definitely be back next we are back in Maui!

Highly recommend! The condo is cozy and well equipped with everything you need for a great stay. The view is beautiful; we really enjoyed our time relaxing on the patio. Great central location. Dianne was the perfect host, easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Our stay was far too short and we will return!

The village of Ma’alaea, where Dianne’s condo is located, offers a unique and balanced location that’s far enough from all the larger towns on Maui to allow a greater sense of solitude and serenity, while still being only a 15 to 20 min drive to get to most anything you need. There’s not much nearby in terms of food, but it’s a 2 minute walk to the aquarium, which was awesome. As far as the actual room, Dianne has included loads of amenities and conveniences to make you feel right at home. I think the only drawback, I can think of is that there’s not any great place to go for a run from the condo except the shoulder of the highway (which is beautiful nonetheless). If you’re crazy enough to keep up your running routine during vacation like me, you’re probably used to running in less than ideal conditions anyways 😅.

The location of this property is perfect for first timers. You’re not far from the airport and located right in between the west and east side of the island. My husband and I enjoyed the ocean views from the property, and watched the sunrise each morning while sipping on some coffee or pog juice. The property is very clean and has all the essentials we were looking for - full size kitchen, bedroom, patio with a view, and even some beach accessories.
Dianne, the owner, is very responsive and easy to communicate with if we ever needed anything. I appreciated her touch base with us to make sure we arrived safely and reminded us to reach out if we ever needed anything.
If you’re looking for a place to book in Maui, look no further! We will definitely be checking to see if this place is available again when we plan another trip to Maui!

Great location and easy access to highway. Close to shopping and perfect location to relax and enjoy! Unfortunately we had a short trip, would have loved to stay longer to enjoy views. Dianne’s place had more than imagined, welcome gift basket, beach chairs, beach towels and general pantry supplies that came in handy. Very responsive to emails and questions. Her place is a beautiful gem tucked away from the tourists. Short distance to airport and local restaurants and grocery stores. Would love to come back!

Our hosts were so responsive and left so much information to make it easy upon checking in and lots of local info as well. The condo is clean and very well stocked with many amenities! The location was great as you're mid-island so you can easily go north or south for the day. The plantation is 7 minutes away and has lots of fresh fruits and veggies. You can't swim in the bay right in back of the condo, but a quick walk down the street and you are at a lovely beach. We saw some turtles swimming around just off our sea wall. Laying out under the palm trees in the breeze makes for a perfect nap spot. Take a quick walk to the aquarium, restaurants, shops or book a tour to the Molokini crater. Mahalo to you both for a wonderful stay in Maui!!

This was such a great property at an excellent location! If your looking for a quiet vacation this is the place to stay. Dianne is so awesome at explaining the whole process and checked in to make sure everything was going well! The pool is divine, the neighbors are friendly and the view is magical! This was a great oceanfront condo located in Maalaea which is close to the harbor. The location was actually ideal as it was central to the more popular locations in Maui. The location is quiet and most of the guests in this condo and nearby are also tourists. We did have a rental car so we were able to quickly visit Kaanapali, Kahului and Kihei in our short stay. We booked a tour to Road to Hana and glad we did as the roads were quite windy. There is an included parking space and if you have a larger vehicle you could park on the street leading to the property. There's a couple of general stores nearby but one of them were under renovation and the other we didn't visit. The aquarium is of walking distance and beside it is quite a few gift shops and restaurants. There's also a gas station and Carl's jr nearby. We also were able to visit the mini golf that's nearby and it's accessible by walking. The property itself has a bedroom where you can close the door and its own ac unit. In the living room there's a hide-a-bed in the sofa that was easy to setup. We didn't use the kitchen much but it's fully equipped for a long stay. We would gladly rebook this location our next time in Maui.

This place was perfect, super clean, ocean view and had everything you would need for a stay in Maui, including Floaties, snorkeling gear, cooler, suntan lotion. It was right in the middle of the island so we were about 25 minutes from basically everywhere. Not much right around to do but that was fine for us since we explored most everyday.

The condo was great and location, steps away from the water, was perfect. Could not have asked for a better stay. Unit was decorated nicely and very clean. The welcome basket was a nice touch. We were celebrating our anniversary and host Dianne made us feel very welcome. We highly recommend this place. Location perfect from the airport and sightseeing on the west coast and south areas of the island. Gotta be there for the sunrise.

We stayed at this property for a week and it was the perfect spot for what we were looking for. Being able to sit in our lawn chairs right outside our unit and watch the sunrise was the perfect start to our days. Being able to walk to Sugar Beach for a morning walk was another bonus, we even saw a huge Turtle sunning itself on the Beach the first day we arrived. My wife enjoyed taking her beach chair and sitting at the edge of the shoreline in the small beach area that could be accessed by a short walk along the wave wall toward the marina. The pool was right outside our unit and the whale activity in the bay was fun to watch. We walked to the marina to do a whale watching cruise and enjoyed the ride on the catamaran almost as much as the whale watching. So needless to say location location location this is the spot if you are looking for peace, quiet and a relaxing environment away from the hustle and bustle of west Maui.. We will be looking to stay here again in the future when we visit again.

We had an awesome vacation in Maui. Renting this condo was a good decision and a blessing. The owner was very responsive to all my questions and provided for all the things one might need on a vacation. The condo was clean, modern, and perfect for a family for 4. The location is also nice - close to the airport, grocery, restaurants. The closest beach is at the end of the street about 10 mins walk. What you can’t beat is the view - ocean view, drink coffee while watching the sun rise, lots of sea turtles. Quiet and safe location. Highly recommended!

Location of the rental is ideal as it’s in the center of two major towns, Kihei and Lahaina. The rental was well equipped and had all the amenities we were looking for. Dianne was very easy to communicate with and provided us with updates as and when needed.

If you’re looking for the perfect condo to stay in on Maui you can stop right now & book this one! We stayed 12 nights & loved everything about this place from the moment we walked in the door. The listing pictures don’t do justice to the incredible view! The unit is comfortable with good furniture, an updated & well stocked kitchen, spacious bedroom (considering there’s a king bed!) & updated bathroom. Also this condo literally has everything you will need from paper towels to sunscreen to seasonings… I would highly recommend coming & checking out the closet full of beach & home supplies before making a trip to the store or renting anything! Maalaea is a great location for visiting different parts of the island. The condo complex is very nice with a beautiful lawn & very friendly owners in the units nearby! Our toddler was with us so he frequently visited neighboring lanais to say hi to his new “friends.” Diane was a wonderful host- very responsive by phone & email & so kind to us. Don’t hesitate to book her place for your stay on Maui!! We’ve booked multiple rentals for trips to Maui & Oahu & Diane’s place was definitely our favorite. Thank you for a great vacation!!!

Dianne has been the best host I have even encountered, she made our stay absolutely amazing and has been so accommodating.
The location of the condo is wonderful, centrally located and a quick drive to whatever you need, but not right in the middle of the most populated areas, this made for a very relaxing private stay.
The condo has absolutely everything you could need and more, snorkeling gear, hair dryer, clothes iron, coffee Kcups, beach towels, beach chairs, cooler, smart tv’s, fully stocked kitchen!
In addition, Dianne was so accommodating, she kept in contact with us before and during our stay to make sure we knew if we had any questions we could reach out to her. Our flight got delayed the day before we were leaving and she allowed us to check out late, so we did not just have to meander around for 5+ hours, ( of course this would depend on if she had anyone coming to stay immediately)
We will definitely be coming back to Maui, and we will be scheduling our trip around Dianne’s condo availability!!

This location was perfect for us. We would walk out the slider onto a nice lawn overlooking the ocean with no sand blowing in our faces! My wife was up every morning to watch the sun rise and I loved fishing. This little harbor town was close to many things without being in the middle of it all. It is windy, but that kept the heat down. As a couple celebrating 26 years of marriage this was perfect for us.

The condo is beautifully designed with decorations and updated bathroom, kitchen, etc. Dianne provided a gift basket of local treats for us. We really enjoyed the cleanliness of the unit. You can see that it is cleaned thoroughly. We also appreciated the seasonings, pots, pans, and other cooking supplies that were included. The location is quiet and on the water. At sunset, you can go see some of the turtles peaking their heads out to eat. Thank you Dianne for contributing to a lovely vacation stay for trip :-)

I loved the view of this property and loved how the owner of the condo had a bunch of stuff for us to use beach chairs, snorkel gear, etc.
