I rented this place for a month, so that I could share the joy with friends. It exceeded expectations! The view from the porch was breath-taking, and the sound of the waves lulled us to sleep every night. (And for occasional naps.). The neighborhood was just right—not too many people and little to no traffic. The property manager went above and beyond! She collected our mail, and sent out a worker (also wonderful) the same day to fix something…It was rectified so efficiently, I cannot even remember the issue! I highly recommend this place!! Thank you for sharing!

This property is a great place!!! The location is perfect for seeing all parts of the island. We enjoyed sitting on the Lani watching the turtles and listening to the waves hit the wall below. We were able to walk from the complex directly to miles of beach. I highly recommend getting this place if you are going to Maui. Aloha

My family vacationed here for a week. We feel in love with the view from this property! I enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the ocean and waking up to it as well. The bed was comfortable. The property was very secluded, not a lot of foot traffic on the end unit. We had everything we could possibly need, chairs, umbrellas, cookware, you name it. The cons were that the unit was dirty. There was someone else’s hair all over the bathroom floor and the floors turned your feet black. Also, not enough hot water for a family of four. There was an ant problem in the kitchen too. I would rent again and recommend it to my friends and family.

Our family loved this place. The location was very convenient placing us basically the middle between Kahului, Kihei and Lahaina. If you want to travel around a car is definitely recommended. The condo itself was furnished with everything you needed, including large beach towels, chairs, umbrella, hard cooler etc. The condo was very clean and I am a neat freak so this was awesome! The views from the condo are spectacular. We watched Hawaiian green sea turtles everyday from the balcony just below. The pool and grill area are very nice! I will say the location is very windy. We read that this is normal for the location because of the mountains. It did make it hard to grill but that is hardly a complaint. The beach is literally right off of the property where you can walk for several miles. I walked it alone as a female for several miles and felt completely safe. The beach itself is beautiful! Overall it was a wonderful place to stay and would stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We loved getting to see turtles swimming in the water from the balcony. Beach access was right down from the pool. We enjoyed walking along the beach & seeing a monk seal. The condo was exceptionally clean and fit our group very well. From the moment you walk in, your view is the ocean and the breeze with the doors open is pure bliss. The owners were extremely communicative and exceptional to work with. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy this hidden gem in the future!

After several years of delaying our visit from Nova Scotia, Canada due to COVID we finally got to spend two weeks in paradise. Thank you Mike for being so patient and generous with us! We loved every part of our vacation. The condo is lovely and included everything we needed. It is beautifully decorated and the art work was a delight in itself. We loved the central location and travelled all over the island although it was difficult to leave the beach outside of the condo. We spent hours watching the waves, turtles and surfers. There are nice shops, the Ocean Centre and coffee options within a short walk. The weather for our stay was fabulous. We will definitely be back. Mahalo.

A truly amazing apartment to stay in for our visit. The views from the Lanai are spectacular. Watching turtles just below in the ocean and whales out in the bay. The apartment was clean and spacious for 4 adults. It was well equipped with everything you need from toilet paper to towels and beach towels. Even had beach chairs. Would highly recommend staying here and on our return we would stay here again. Mahalo

We just got home from our amazing Maui vacation and this property exceeded our expectations. Great communication with the owner and property manager, the condo is exactly as pictured; clean, fantastic location and the views are perfection. We would see turtles and whales from our balcony. While its a bit quiet in this area, we prefer that and also enjoyed being central to beaches and shops in every direction. The pool does have a lot of rules and the owners are not friendly towards children. That would not deter me from staying here. Just be prepared to advocate for your children if being well behaved and still getting grief from the older crowd. That being said, I would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

The property is well-located for exploration. Pictures are accurate. Comfortable beds. Loved watching sea turtles play in the surf.
Disappointed that there was no beach access from the property. We had to walk down two condos & scramble down rocks for access. You can tell there used to be access, but it really overgrown, indicating that any storm damage was far from recent.
Would return, just wish it was explained b/c I was traveling with my 79 year old mother & it was more than she could handle.

Our vacation was cut short due to the travel madness over the holidays, but our stay here was lovely. The owner, the management, and the housekeeper all went out of their way to accommodate our time here. The condo is lovely with beautiful views, located in a quiet neighbourhood. The grounds were beautiful, the beach a short walk away, and it is a fabulous, long beach. Definitely enjoyed our short stay.

We loved your top floor corner unit. Very private and right on the beach. The balcony was wonderful with chairs to enjoy the sound of the surf and the views. Your unit was fully equipped and everything worked wonderful. The location worked for going south to Wailea and north to Lahaina. We would highly recommend this unit.

Over all, we had a great time. This Property was beautiful. The real life property matched the photos which was huge for me. There is a washer and dryer in the condo and parking was always available. The location is okay, views are spectacular from every window, but the Wind was terrible. The marine center, a scandia type place, the harbor and restaurants were right there within walking distance which is a plus. The kids loved this. There was no direct beach access, but the beach is a short walking distance down the road from the condo. Once you got past the homeless camp at the entrance of the park, (not the owners fault ) the beaches were long, beautiful, and sandy. If I could have this condo in a different part of the island, it would be perfect. All night long and all day long the strong wind howled, which was a bit annoying. We are not sure if this is a year around thing, or just this time of year, so I can not judge or rate the condo based on that, I know, so don't let it detour you. The condo itself gets 5 stars, but we thought you should know about these other things too. It was very sad to see how many homeless camps there are all over the island, not just here. We saw them at almost every beach, but we understand times are tough for some, and we had no issues at all with any of the people. We would return any time, and that is the most important part to consider.

Wow! This location is beautiful, centrally located, quiet, and has the most amazing views. (I think it is probably the best unit). The condo was comfortable and had everything we needed. We especially appreciated having a cooler, ice packs, and a washer/dryer. We washed towels and bathing suits daily! Next time, we will pack less as we basically lived in bathing suits and didn’t need most of the clothes we packed. Last time we stayed in Lahiana. We loved this location so much more! It was a quick trip to most parts of the island that we love to visit. Our friends stayed in Kihei and had a very loud New Years eve. Ours was quiet, yet we had a amazing views of the fireworks across the bay. We also saw whales daily. (Look for the mist and splash, and where the boats are gathering). We hope to come back again. Condo was a good location mid-island to go north to Lahaina/Kaanapali and south to Wailea-Makena. Part of Kihei roads closed to mud from storms for several days so happy we didn’t stay there this trip. Very windy location but condo building blocks so not a problem on balcony. Using the BBQ was a bit problematic.

Amazing location, condo was clean upon arrival except some food that had been missed being swept up from the floor. Lots of towels and blankets, beach items for use. Kitchen could be better stocked in terms of basic ingredients, there was only salt and pepper, we had to buy cooking oil, seasonings, etc. Pipes in master bathroom are a little loud and clanky. Condo location is perfect, waves right outside the door. We never closed the curtains, very private. beautiful pool area, but be advised if traveling with children, there are no balls, floaties, etc., allowed- it’s basically labeled as a “no fun” zone for kids, and there’s someone spying on you the entire time to make sure you’re following the rules, but understandable as it’s a small pool. Great access to beach, and everywhere you want to go is accessible by car within 20-30 min. Super convenient if you’re taking excursions out of Maalaea Harbor, 2 minute drive. We were sad to leave!

If you're looking for a beautiful view, relaxing stay, this is your place. The beach was absolutely beautiful, turtles swimming in front of the condo, birds visiting every day. If you love the sound of the waves, we slept with the windows open every night and it was so relaxing.
The only negative is that the week before we were to head out to Hawaii, I had not received the code to get into the condo. I had a really hard time getting this info from Rosemary. It kept getting sent to the wrong email address. I had to get the owner involved in order to get the information required to access the unit (literally two days before we left).

Beautiful location, right on the ocean, imagine falling asleep to the sound of the waves crashing! Very quiet location, though 10-15 drive to any restaurants or stores, but I wanted something more secluded. Very clean, nice amenities (access to pool/hot tub which I didn't use, beach right on the property, laundry, beach towels, etc). Can get humid (visited in August) and the AC in the living room doesn't quite cut it for the whole place.

This condo was a great quiet place for my family of 4 to explore the south side of the island. We never once turned the AC on as the breeze coming in from the ocean was amazing!! Loved falling asleep to the sound of the ocean. It was a great quiet start to our vacation!

Overall, this is a decent property and was a good location for a great family vacation in Maui. But there's certainly a few things to know going in.
The location, Maalaea, is fine. The condo is surrounded by a nice beach. The advantage is that it's a quiet place on the island. But, depending on beaches and activities chosen, everything will be a drive of some kind. There's not much in Maalaea itself. So, even groceries and such will likely mean a trip to Kahului or something.
Overall, the condo is fine but in need of some updating. Blenders, coffee makers, etc. were all older appliances. The biggest challenge was sleeping at night. The listing says the property sleeps 6, but this is only if using 2 blow-up mattresses--which we knew going in. One of the mattresses was comfortable but the other was like 4-inches in height. Thankfully, I have young boys who are used to sleeping in odd places.
But the biggest issue was the air conditioning--which is really a misnomer. The A/C is a wall unit located in the living room incapable of cooling the entire unit. In addition, there's a timer that turns the unit off after 4 hours. Thankfully, the coastal winds of Maui help at night but even at that the 2nd bedroom is difficult to cool even with windows wide open and fans on. So, it's very warm on summer nights.
Outside of that the property was great. The owner and management company were very responsive and the common areas are nice, with a good pool, great barbecues and tables for socializing. Overall a great base for a Maui vacation

This property was as described and had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and it was clean. Views are unbelievable and the swimming/snorkeling around the property is amazing (just watch the waves!). We found it convenient to everything-short walk to the Marina area and a short drive anywhere else you might need to go. This was a beautiful home base for our trip to Maui and we hope to return some day.

What a stunning view, quiet complex, comfortable beds and a kitchen stocked full of all the materials for making great meals. This is a space located in the middle of everything. Quick drive everywhere. The ocean can get a little loud but, how could one complain about that! Our family enjoyed the use of all the “extras” like boogie boards, cooler and beach towels. Wow!! What a great experience! Loved every minute of our stay here. The condo was stocked with everything we needed, perfect views and a very cute condo. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves every night is going to be missed. I loved how this place felt like it has its own private beach. We Loved staying here. The view from lanai was amazing, watching turtles everyday in the surf. The beach is so convenient and perfect for morning sunrise walks! To my surprise, the snorkeling was probably the best I've experienced in Maui right off the beach next too the seawall! The condo itself was very comfortable for 4 of us and just as pictured. This property is set in a quaint little area of about a dozen other condo's and miles of beach (Sugar Beach) that is lightly used allowing much privacy and at times, all to yourself. The centralized location of Maalaea allows easy access and quick driving times to other attractions on the island in the central and south end, as opposed to the always jammed highway to Lahaina, which may add 1/2 hour to an hour to the trip. Just a 15 minute drive will get you groceries and other essentials you may need (Kahului-WalMart/Target/Costco and Kehei-smaller chain grocery).
We were very happy with the cleanliness of the room and most importantly, the view. Being in the corner and on the top floor allows privacy and a spectacular view in each direction. Having direct access to the beach and an ocean view was what we were looking for a got it! Although the snorkeling was murky and sparse with fish, we did see turtles on a daily basis close to the shore. About 500 yards south it is much clearer with about a dozen turtles and more sea-life.
When looking for accommodations we wanted a unit that had A/C as an option. This is certainly a lifesaver in July but luckily the trade winds provided some cooler air most of the time and the unit was used only a few times.
Also very helpful was the availability of many chairs, umbrella's, boogie boards, binoculars, premium air-mattresses and pretty much everything you need for your trip to avoid renting those items.
The pool was clean and not very crowded. There are 2 gas grills available but I recommend you get a spot around 4'ish or earlier since there is a constant flow of users until around 7:30, as I found out one evening. The chairs and table on the deck allows comfort for your daily morning coffee or afternoon drink listening to the ocean. There was a constant breeze day and night due to the Trade Winds, along with crashing waves so it can be a little noisy when you are trying to sleep, but that is the sacrifice for the accommodations.
