This was our first time on Maui, and though we initially had some reservations about staying in Kapalua due to distance from everything, we couldn’t have been happier to book this condo. The location turned out to be perfect; a number of beaches in walking distance, and really not far at all to go to busier areas like Kaanapali and Lahaina. The condo was exactly as it looked in the pictures, but the view from the lanai was even better! It was a very quiet and peaceful area which was great to come back to after a busy day of exploring Maui. Communication with Eric was great as he was quick to respond to our questions and sent a very helpful and detailed list of recommendations for food and beaches. We would highly recommend this condo and can’t wait to go back!

We loved our stay. Beautiful location, great view, whales breaching in the water as we ate on the lanai. The unit was truly unique, quite large, fully outfitted, and stocked with all you need and didn't expect. Just as seen in the pictures!

We loved our time at this property. The view from the condo is gorgeous and the neighborhood is very safe, clean, and beautifully green! It’s so close to several stunning beaches and not far from Lahaina with more restaurant options. The kitchen has many quality amenities for cooking, which we enjoyed. Fridge is small but worked just fine for two people. We can’t wait to come back.

What a relaxing place to stay. It is well equipped with necessities plus. The location is very convenient and within walking distance of everything that Kapalua offers. ..beach, golfing, walking, swimming pool , dining, etc. The owner provided us plenty of pre-information, suggestions and tips. Fun property, amazing views, quiet neighborhood. Bed was comfortable. Older unit with many upgrades. Drawer fridge was an initial concern, but we had no trouble fitting all we had with room to spare. Owner was extremely helpful and great to work with. Would definitely stay here again.

No detail was overlooked in this tropical paradise abode. It’s an ideal getaway for travelers looking to have a private, relaxing vacation. My boyfriend and I stayed for 11 nights/10 days and it certainly felt like home away from home – but so much more. Who cannot love to see and hear the ocean outside the lanai every waking day? The tastefully decorated kitchen was equipped and functional for what we needed. And that master bath? Every time I took a shower in the master bath and cracked the jalousie windows open, I could hear the rain, the native birds, and the sound of leaves rustling against the wind – it felt as though I was showering in the outdoors. My boyfriend and I never felt so relaxed in such a long time and were fortunate to find Eric’s place in Maui, let alone in gorgeous Kapalua where compared to Kaanapali, is not tourist heavy, crowded, and loud. Nearby Montage (I’ll give them due credit for their incredible Spa though) and the Ritz have nothing compared to this condo. Why pay more and get less from the local resorts when you can pay a fraction of the cost and get more bang for your buck when you stay at this condo. And with the money you do save, you can treat yourself to the aforementioned Spa. FYI: the SubZero fridge/freezer was a nonissue. First, we had a jeep rental so driving to the store was hardly an inconvenience (the Honolua Market is only 3 mins away, 15 minutes if you walk). If we needed specific items, we took a trek to Safeway – no biggie. Second, you’re on a vacation – the last thing you would want to do is cook every day. Explore Maui and enjoy the Hawaiian delicacies -- there are a ton of food options that won’t break the bank.

We booked our stay on short notice. Wow did we luck out!
Wonderful location: great whale watching, fine beaches, and nice walks. Waking to the daily morning whale shows was a wonderful and unforgettable experience!
The unit: it’s unique! Eric has been renovating his unit to create a surf shack vibe. Colorful and fun.
The host: We had a few problems but Eric helped us resolve them though he was 2000 miles away!
Overall, a very happy and relaxing stay for us.

We enjoyed watching the ocean actions from the kitchen window, going to the local beaches, taking the Kapalua walks. The Ridge complex is beautiful, classy and quiet, and yet only minutes to where we want to go. Eric is a wonderful host. Truly enjoyed our stay.

This was a delightful jumping off point for our vacation in Maui. Eric provided not just a restful home but also great tips and recommendations. He checked in on our stay during the week to make sure all was going well; a really thoughtful host! The condo is just as pictured, lots of clean towels were provided, if you have a family, you could definitely make it work between the bedroom, day bed in the living room and pull out couch. We'll definitely be back!

We’ve visited Maui many times and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Eric’s place. His place was very comfortable! We loved eating our meals outside or up to the counter looking out at the beautiful views. He has thought of everything to make you feel at home. If you forgot something, chances are Eric has it.
The location was perfect to go to multiple beaches, Oneola, Kapalua, DT Flemming and Slaughterhouse Beach. Kapalua has great walking/running paths and trails as well. As far as Eric’s unit’s location, we thought it was one of the best in Kapalua Ridge. We had a fantastic time!

Spent the weekend in Kapalua for a family wedding/reception at the Ritz Carlton. By trip's end, everyone who visited "my" place was mad they settled for a basic hotel room with no view.
I mean, sure, the Ritz is nice enough and all, but it's no Property ID 1497965 Kapalua Artistic Remodel :)

The property was as advertised. It was easy to get to, and super close to the Ritz Carleton and DT Fleming Beach, where our Xterra race was being held. It is the ideal location! The neighbors were friendly and helpful, and Eric was very responsive with answering our questions.
The only thing we can think of is that the place needs a kettle, as we drink tea regularly. However, we made do just fine!

The condo is a 5 minute walk from Kapalua Bay, which is one of the nicest beaches in the area. The bathrooms are decadent. The kitchen has everything you need. I really appreciated that a cooler and beach chairs were provided, as well as towels. If we come back to Maui, I will definitely stay again.

This was our second trip to Maui. Our first one was at a big resort. We definitely enjoyed staying at this quiet condo away from the hustle and bustle of the big resorts! We had our own parking spot just steps to the front door. The condo had everything we needed including beach chairs and an umbrella. We enjoyed the amazing views from our lanai every day.
Having a comfortable bed is my top concern when traveling and the king size bed was soooo comfortable!
It’s location is only 5 minutes walk DOWN HILL to the beach. Which means you are walking UP HILL on the way back. No big deal though. It’s a short walk... There’s also a little parking lot right across from the beach walk way.
Eric responded quickly to any questions and had many helpful tips and suggestions.
Loved our trip to Maui! Would definitely stay again!
