Best complex in all of Kihei. Centralized amenities and spacious condos with easy access to the beach. Building 9 is not located directly adjacent to the amenities, but a very easy walk to the pool, tennis courts, grills and green space.

Great location as described. Our second time at Kamaole Sands and we loved it. This unit has a great view of the sunsets as shown. The bed was very comfortable. Our daughter slept on the pull out and said it wasn’t bad. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed with the exception of only two coffee filters. We did not contact anyone on this as it was a minor inconvenience to get some when we went to the store. I have no doubt that John would have made sure they were brought to us had I said anything. We had a plumbing issue come up and after texting John he had someone come immediately to take care of it. This was handled well by the owner and we would definitely stay here again.

Condo very comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen and great beach gear that save a lot of time we would have spent in rental shops. We enjoyed our stay here! The property is well equipped with both kitchen and beach/snorkeling gear. The lanai invites you to soak in the ocean view. The bed is comfortable and the South Kihei location provides easy access to Wailea and Kihei beaches. We had a small equipment issue and the property manager was very responsive in resolving it.

Overall the stay was amazing. Mike was able to accommodate a late checkout which allowed us to enjoy the last day fully which was not expected but greatly appreciated. The kitchen was well stocked with everything (even tho we didn’t cook at all) and there were lots of beach supplies which also made it easy so we didn’t have to rent things. Overall great and looking forward to staying again soon.

Michaels property was perfect for our family's Holiday vacation! We had plenty of room to sleep and relax together. The large lanai was a bonus and the fully stocked kitchen made meals easy.

Nice one bedroom condo with two full bathrooms. Very easy check in. The location is convenient to other areas of Maui and nice beaches. We didn't get to use the pool or hot tub seemed a little run down and crowded. The kitchen was nice and so was the living room.

The condo had everything we needed and the grounds were beautiful. Nice updates and great location. Close to many beautiful beaches and restaurants. We were able to visit natl park and go on snorkel cruise. Easy to book and Jon responded quickly to questions/requests. A great place to stay!

My sons and I stayed for a week at this property. The location is marvelous with wonderful beaches just across the road. The condo with the king size bed, full size pull-out coach, 2 bathrooms and laundry made our stay very comfortable. The amenities at this property are fantastic - we enjoyed the pool and hot tubs. The kitchen was well appointed. And the beach chairs, snorkel gear and bogie boards were a nice bonus.

This was the first trip to Hawaii for my wife and I. Michael, the property owner, and Jon, local resource, were both very gracious and helpful, and responded quickly to all of our questions. The condo is well furnished and appeared to be recently updated with fresh paint, new floors, and new appliances throughout. The location was just across the street from a beach (with life guard) and close to several very good restaurants ($$ - $$$) and a grocery store. We will recommend this property to friends and family, and next time we visit Maui, we will come back to this condo.

The rental was clean, beautiful and quiet. Other than the wifi password and gate codes being incorrect, everything was great. There were only two of us and there was more than enough space. The property manager was helpful and the experience was smooth. We would definitely stay here again!

We just finished our first vacation in Maui and were fortunate to have stayed at this condo. Everything was first rate. The Condo was clean, well set up, very comfortable for the two of us and well situated to explore Kihei and Wailea. Highlights included the facilities of the complex, the proximity to the beach, a lanai situated to see the sunset and the quiet at night to help jet lagged sleepers. We have to give a big shout out to the local contact Jon, who was very helpful with suggestions of all kinds - and spot on with his recommendations. There is no question that the next time we head to this beautiful island, Michaels condo will be top of our list for accomodations.

We had an amazing stay at Michael’s condo. We have stayed at Kamole Sands many times and his condo was the best stocked. He had though of everything. I was nervous about staying in building 9 as we had always stayed in the inner courtyard before but we loved building 9. It was so quiet and we had a beautiful ocean view. Also- it was so quick to get to the beach. Both Michael and Jon (the property manager) were great at communicating and super helpful. The welcome basket was an amazing addition. Our stay was started with a warm welcome and continued with great communication throughout. They were very accommodating for our family and flight schedule. Plenty of space and beach gear available for use. Bathrooms and kitchen were clean and ready for use. Convenient reserved parking for our rental. We look forward to staying here again!

My wife and I absolutely loved this place in Kihei for our first ever trip to Maui, the location was perfect with lots of beaches, shops and food nearby and our stay was incredible. The place itself had a lot to offer, was very clean and super comfortable. We loved the full kitchen, BOTH of the bathrooms, all of the added perks: boogey boards, yoga mats, guitar, snorkel gear, amazing views from the lanai (also a great spot to enjoy meals) and a nice common space to relax. Communication was prompt and the check-in process was smooth, the property also had a lot to offer with a pool, hot tub, onsite parking and they offer a lot of advice for booking excursions. I would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Maui and cannot recommend it enough, do not pass up this option!

This condo was absolutely perfect for us in many ways: great location at the south end of the bustling end of Kihei with easy access to beautiful beaches across the street and within walking distance of shops and eateries; convenient central location to get to either west side (Kaanapali, Lahaina) or north to either (Wailuku or Paia); wonderful provision of amenities from snorkel and beach gear to fresh fruit and bottle of wine waiting; comfortable accommodations for the three of us - even pull-out bed in sofa was sturdy; AMAZING and invaluable help and resource with Jon, the property manager - he really made our stay rise to the stellar level with restaurant, snorkel and hike recommendations that were always spot-on excellent (Thank you so much, Jon!). Loved our stay in this condo and truly hope we can return to visit again here. (Will even miss the musical washer and remember figuring out the puzzle of the hidden knife sharpener! ). Thank you for making our Maui stay so memorable in all the best ways.

This was our first time to Hawaii. I was the planner for our family (daughters 15 and 17 and my wife and I). I really had no idea what to expect, but after a long search, I landed on this property as the best value for someplace seemingly close to the beach and clean. I wasn't sure about just one bedroom, but I eventually decided to book. One of the best vacation bookings I've ever made.
* The place is an easy 3 minute walk to one of the best beaches/probably *the best beach in Kihei.
* Before arriving, we paid dearly for a boat trip to see sea turtles. We saw one turtle on that trip. We had seen two turtles within five minutes of snorkeling off the beach across the street (for free), and we saw multiple ones every day of our stay there.
* The pull-out couch is pretty comfortable as far as those go. We were very comfortable with the four of us with just the one bedroom. The AC unit is in the living room - super nice. And then they have ceiling fans in the living room and the bedroom, which are superb. The room/condo temp the whole time was perfect.
* The view from the deck is to the ocean (we saw a rainbow our last day) and the breeze from the deck was fantastic. The deck furniture is comfortable, and we were able to do some work from the table.
* The wifi is great; four of us used it at once without issue. I even streamed a live football game and not one glitch.
* They have a new-looking washer/dryer in the condo, and provide the detergent and drying sheets, We used it several times.
* They have two bathrooms/showers, both with nice water pressure and very clean.
* Plenty of towels, including beach towels.
* They do provide snorkeling gear but it leaks, so we rented gear for our stay.
* Across the street from a grassy area by the beach where people flock to watch the sunset.
* Nicely located - on the edge of town and super quiet once night-time hits. We rented a car and were very glad we had done so. Not because it's not walkable from the condo to most Kihei areas, but because it allowed us to explore so many other areas.
* If choosing between Kihei and Lahaina, I'd say this: Lahaina is the uber touristy spot - happening bars and restaurants; Kihey has some of that (you can find it) but significantly less crowded and touristy.
* The condo is part of a gated community of apartments. The community has a nice pool and two hot tubs (one for adults and one for kids). No bar or food service in the pool area, but a nicely size pool.

We had an amazing experience on Maui and loved staying in this unit. The property was across the street from a great beach, very well cleaned and the property manager checked in to make sure we were taken care of throughout the trip and was very responsive.

We love it here. Very nice and clean. Easy keyless access is helpful when walking to and from the beach and/or pool. Washer and dryer in unit is a huge plus. Unit is beautiful and spacious, perfect size for a couple or small family. Fantastic hosts, Jon gave excellent recommendations for snorkeling beaches and nearby restaurants. So nice to come home to a clean and spacious condo after fun excursions. The location is perfect. Aside from being beach front, we found the condo location ideal for excursions to Haleakala, Paia, Wailea, Makena and La Peruse. We didn’t make it Lahaina due to time.
The condo is well equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals to bring and enjoy at the beach, the pool as well as our day trips.
Unfortunately I had to work during the trip, but setting up “my office” on the lanai made the working hours less of a chore and more of a pleasure. Love seeing the Pacific Ocean while on Zoom calls!

I feel so fortunate to have found this particular condo. The owner provided us with everything we could possibly need for our trip. He was always available to answer all of our questions whenever we called. The beach is within a two minute walking distance. All restaurants and shops are within a 5-10 minutes drive. The condo was almost perfect except one big flaw for which I would not book again unless fixed - the bed frame in the master bedroom creaked anytime myself or my partner moved. I admittedly am a light sleeper and my boyfriend moves a lot in his sleep so that made for a terrible mix and sleep. After 1 night of creaking I moved to sleep on the pull out for the next week (not terribly comfortable either). My boyfriend slept by himself in the master for the duration of the trip and was also somewhat bothered by the creaking even though he is not a light sleeper. Not exactly the restful and romantic trip I was hoping for but the rest of the condo was nicely decorated, looked new, and was clean. The place would be perfect if the creaky bed frame is replaced.
