Exactly as described. Very comfortable and very clean. Three bed, two bath, great living room and kitchen with an excellent backyard. Could not have found a better place for a young family. If you stay here, you will very likely be pleased.

The Princeville house is as advertised - spacious, tastefully decorated, and in one of the best and most convenient parts of Kauai. Though not a recent construction and showing some signs of age, this was a perfect base for our group of four (parents + teen + grandmother) that provide just the right mix of relaxation and accommodation. The Princeville location can't be beat for its access to the North Shore and convenience (walking distance to supermarket, plenty of routes for morning or evening exercise in the neighborhood). This would definitely be my top choice for any future Kauai visits.

Family of 5 enjoying Kauai for the first time. Lucked into picking this perfect location for all our activities as we ended up on north shore most of the time. Our favorite beach (Hanalei) was a short 7 minute drive away and Foodland is walkable distance. My wife enjoyed the craft fair that was there on Sunday. Bev was super responsive and helpful with the small issue we had to get it resolved quickly. Recommended!

This was a true Kauai home. It felt like my Auntie's house in Lihue from years ago. Not like a rental at all- just filled with love and coziness all around. The backyard and grounds are beautiful. Just a slice of heaven. We loved our stay so much. I usually try new places when I visit, but I would definitely come back here to this home! Comfy beds, comfy couch, a true Kauai lanai and for some reason....the roosters didn't wake us up like they normally do in Princeville here! Hooray!! It was a miracle!

Just finished our week at this property and we were very pleased with everything! The location on the north shore gives you quick access to Hanalei, Tunnels, Anini beaches. Very close to main road for easy in and out. there is also a shopping plaza and small take out restaurants in walking distance. Bev was responsive and offered good basic beach equipment like towels and chairs. Very clean and beautiful tropical plants on the property. Thanks for the stay, will be back!

Your home has been lovely and we are so grateful to you for sharing your beautiful well-stocked home with us! All the little conveniences (soap, dish detergent, laundry detergent, cooking ingredient basics) were much appreciated! The kitchen is the best stocked we’ve ever experienced! We enjoyed the screened lanai multiple times a day, so very relaxing. House was comfortable with the open windows and fans. The hiking sticks, beach chairs & umbrellas, etc were such a nice addition and nice to have. The communication was terrific and quick. We felt very welcome!

My family truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful rental house. The house was impeccably clean and detailed, to a level that could be described as a brand new model home. The house design, with the screened vent windows along all of the walls, gave great breezes through the house during the days and evenings. There are fans throughout the house, and there are lots of accent lighting options. All of the facilities and fixtures worked perfectly. The only downside to the stay was a problem with the TV/cable, where the remote control was confusing and the cable box required a power cycle to start working normally again. Until we fixed the cable box, we were still able to enjoy streamed media via a tablet and an HDMI input connection to the TV. Regardless, you don't rent a house in Kauai to watch TV. The home owners, Bev and Joe, were great to work with and they made the experience the best it could be. I absolutely recommend this house for your Kauai vacation rental.

Home is a great place good location. Only thing we did not like is the house is located on a main road and busy from 7AM to 10PM, one block over is a park and you will hear kids being loud.

We had the best experience at this home. It was perfect for our family and exceeded our expectations. It was clean, the beds were very comfortable, it was close to a grocery store (Foodland), a short drive to different beaches and there was plenty of things to cook with. We loved the screened lanai and spent a lot of time out there. Definitely recommend.

Perfect floor plan for two couples with bedrooms at opposite ends of the house. The landscaping makes the home seem very private even though it is in a very nice neighborhood. Everything is close by, police/fire station, urgent care, grocery store, restaurants, golf courses, beaches and scenic beauty everywhere! Bev is a great host and responds quickly to any questions. No negatives. Would definitely stay here again.

We fully enjoyed our stay in this Hawaii custom home. The property is just as described. Pictures can’t quite capture the beauty inside the house and outside around the yard. All the foliage is stunning. House was completely clean and furnished with all we needed. Beds were very comfortable. The separation of space was wonderful. All you needed to go to the beach for the day was there. Hanalei Bay was minutes away and so easy to get to. The snorkeling was incredible. We even saw a Moray Eel!!! Starting and ending our days, this house offered us the such refuge! A beautiful peaceful home where we can come together as family and enjoy! Was absolutely stunning!

This was a dream family vacation in a dream house. I can't say enough about how good the energy is in this home. It's also in a perfect area, walking distance to a basketball court, Foodland, Tiki Iniki and more!
I spent 3 weeks here, one week on my own, then family arrived, my son, grandson and daughter in-law, to celebrate Christmas together. I loved the layout of the home, primay bedroom on one side and the other two bedroom on the opposite end of the home. We often found ourselves sitting on the barstools at the kitchen counter conversing and preparing meals together.
Bev was a most excellent host, very personable and easy to talk to. Right after I arrived she made sure to check in with me to see if everything was okay.
My daughter in-laws father and his wife flew in from France and were staying within walking distance. The home was a wonderful warm gathering place for all of us.
We made Christmas eve dinner and watched the purple red sunset through the diningroom window as we ate and sipped our champagne.
The backyard was perfect day and night. Star gazing from there was phenomenal.
Now, we all have these special memories we made here together for our lifetime, what a gift.....

This house was great for our three-week vacation. We had two adults and two children. The house fit us perfectly. It had everything we needed. As other reviews stated it's a 5 min walk to Foodland. It was a great place to stay and we would stay there again.

This home was absolutely lovely! As returning visitors to the Island annually, we found this home to be perfect for our family. It was very conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood with easy walking access to the Princeville shopping center. The house was very clean and provided plenty of supplies for a 2 week stay. There was a wide variety of beach accessories. We even made a contribution at the end of our trip with additional beach accessories for future guests to use. The check in process was very simple and any communication was handled in a very polite and timely manner. We highly recommend this little slice of home away from home and hope to be guests next trip to Kauai.

Excellent location in very nice quiet neighborhood. House has everything you need as we cooked 3-4 nights for dinner.
Hawaiian theme throughout .. walking distance to Princeville Market Stores( 3 minutes) and 20 minute walk to beach.
There is no air conditioning (as stated) so it can get pretty warm if your inside during the day.. nights pleasant.

We enjoyed our stay in Kauai and the home was amazing. The neighborhood was so clean and the location was perfect. Beautiful Mountain View from front home.We loved eating on the patio in the morning and evening. The owners also had snorkling equipment and beach chairs for us to use. The home is close to a grocery store, shopping and beaches. We were very pleased with this rental and Bev was very pleasant.

Five adults, ranging in age from 19 to 84 years old, stayed here for a week. Every single one of us felt right at home and immediately settled right in.
The home was spotless. The beds extremely comfortable. The bar at the kitchen gave everyone a place to hang out during meal prep and cleanup. The amenities were numerous and covered our every need. The lanai was lovely, with plenty of room for all of us, ceiling fan to keep the air circulating, with a beautiful and private back yard to gaze out upon. The location couldn't have been better as it was very close to Hanalei and Princeville, but not so far northwest to make outings to the rest of the island too much of a drive. There's even a weekly market with artists' wares, farmstand, and music within walking distance.
The hosts were in contact just the right amount, making sure we got in all right, and they replied quickly to any questions or comments.
We can hardly wait to visit Kauai again and stay at Hale Leilani! It truly is a "heavenly home."

This house was amazing. The layout was perfect for our family of five. It was close to everything yet seemed very quiet and secluded. We loved that we could walk to the grocery store. The house was incredibly clean, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals. We enjoyed hanging out in the lanai every night and would end each night with a game of bocce ball. I can’t say enough great things about this house. It made for the perfect Hawaiian vacation.

Communication with Bev was friendly and prompt. The house was great for my family to stay at. The master suite is large and relaxing. There is no AC here, but that wasn’t a problem. In the afternoon if was quite warm but with the fans and windows open we were able to cool it down considerably by 7pm. Location is great - it’s only a couple blocks from Foodland and a playground for kiddos. Neighborhood is clean and quiet.

Bev’s home is IMMACULATE! If you are thinking of booking, do it, you won’t regret it! The home is spacious and comfy. The kids loved all the beach toys and back yard. Every question I had was answered very quickly. If we come back to Kauai, I know where we are staying! Ps - I was worried about not having a pool. It was not an issue at all. We drove to Hanalei Bay for ocean fun!

Had a wonderful experience staying at this house. It has a great quiet neighborhood surrounding with easy access to amenities, beaches and neighborhood park. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen layout was easy to use and find what we were looking for. We used the beach chairs, umbrella, collapsible cooler and beach towels for beach days. We also used the laundry which was great to clean our clothes throughout the week. Overall we would recommend this location and Bev's hospitality and plan to stay again in the future.

This house was in the perfect location on the North Shore. We were only 10 minutes from everywhere we wanted to visit on that part of the island. The house was very clean and had everything we needed as well as chairs for the beach. Bev was very accomodating and quick to respond to any questions or requests. We absolutely loved our stay. It was very roomy and spacious. With six people we never felt like we were on top of one another. If I had to say anything negative, it would be that there was no air conditioning. While I loved the openness and thought it brought the outside in to give an even better island experience, two of my daughters cannot use fans or sleep with windows open and they became very congested for half of the stay. We removed the fans at night and shut the windows and it seemed to help. Not a deal-breaker for me but could be for someone else. I would definitely stay at this property again and recommend it to any family with adult kids or small children.

This is a wonderful house in Princeville. The bed are comfortable and there was more than enough room for 5 of us. Great location to beaches, golf, and beautiful Hanalei for beach, food, shops and sheer beauty. Just walking the neighborhood has beautiful mountain views. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Our family had a great time at this wonderful property in the heart of Princeville. Clean and well supplied. Lots of beach gear for every age group. Rooms were well laid out. Over the last thirty years, we've stayed all over the Islands, ranging from several five-star hotels to quite a few VRBOs. This was our third stay with Bev, and her house is in the best location (north Kauai) in all of Hawaii. Bev's house is immaculate, and she is a jewel to work with. When we had to postpone a previous stay in the middle of the pandemic, she was extremely generous. When there was a minor issue on arrival this time, she immediately got someone out to resolve the problem. We travel all over the world, and Bev and her house are a big part of why Kauai is at the top of our list.

And the home was perfect do our family of 5 (2 kids, parents plus grandmother). The house is very spacious and airy, and location was absolutely perfect. Right next to a playground, walking trail and shopping center. Bev also left plenty of supplies to get started in the home. It was all around a delightful stay and we can’t wait to come back!

My new wife and I stayed at Joe and Bev's place for our wedding. We had our two daughters, both over 21 stay with us as well. The master suite is truly an oasis from the rest of the house if you want it to be. We didn't feel like we had to go anywhere after we got married to get away for a night. The spacious home, lanai and back yard were perfect for hosting a small wedding reception of about 30 people the afternoon of our ceremony. It didn't feel crowded and everyone felt connected.
It is a 2 minute walk to the local grocery store and shopping area, and less then 20 minute walk to several beaches. It's tucked away, and feels super private, even though its right near the entrance to the town and neighborhood.
The day we left, my wife was already trying to figure out when we could come back and stay at the house.

My group of four adults loved our 6 day stay. We chose it initially because, looking at the pictures online, the house gave off a "Hawaiian" vibe and absolutely delivered on that count. High ceilings and all of the windows made the space feel open, airy, and welcoming. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking implements which made it easy to prepare meals. We also utilized the screened in lanai several evenings which provided a nice bonus space to enjoy the beautiful Kauai weather. Mahalo to Beverley for making the whole process very easy to navigate. I highly recommend the property to anyone staying in Princeville area as it provides easy access to shopping, dining, and all of the wonderful sights along the north shore.

The house was beautiful and in a great location. The screened in Lanai was a plus. The house was very clean and spacious.
The only downsides for us ( We are 4 Adult women 35-55) were the master bedroom bathroom (toilet) offered no privacy. There was no door to the bathroom itself and with 2 of us sharing the master bedroom we ended up having to use the guest bathroom for privacy. Also there were lots of "notes" on walls in almost every room of the house of how to use remotes make sure to put back, basically do's and don'ts which seemed excessive and off putting. I assume the owners have had alot of issues that they felt it necessary to leave notes everywhere. Just made us feel like we shouldn't touch anything. The Tommy Bahama chairs were a nice touch but the umbrellas needed to be replaced. Both didn't work well. We also couldn't find a rice cooker which for us is a necessity. Especially when in Hawaii. This is the first rental we had that didn't have one. Overall we did enjoy our stay and it is in a great location.

Loved staying in this home with our family! It was beautiful and very spacious! Working with Deb was so easy! The house is fully stocked with anything you would need to cook with. We also loved having beach towels and chairs to take with us everyday! It was always so nice to come “home” after a long day out! Would totally recommend to anyone!
