This condo had everything we needed for a wonderful Hawaiian vacation! Our favorite part was eating outside on the patio while we watched the sunset and listened to the waves crash against the shore. Definitely a view unmatched by other places to stay. The location was convenient for shopping and local beaches. We really enjoyed our time here. While there was no AC, there were fans available and ocean breezes with the windows open. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Location is amazing. The is THE reason to choose this place. Its in a big complex, which we generally avoid, but you wouldn't know it. The 2 sided lanai on a ground floor, corner unit with good landscaping makes it feel very private. You could spend your whole vacation looking over the ocean and listening to the waves from your porch. Gorgeous sunsets. The house is a little sparce and dated, but not run down. Kitchen has most of what you need. Full laundry. Beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas available. Bedding is not great. We didn't put our stuff into drawers bc they were very musty. The comforters on the beds and cushions in the living room are clean, but have streaks from old mildew staining. I'm sure its a never ending battle given the moist, wet environment.

This was the first leg of our Hawaii vacation and our stay in Kona was fantastic. From morning coffee on the lanai and then watching beautiful sunsets there at night, followed by listening to the waves as we fell asleep, the location of the condo was perfect. Close to great beaches for snorkeling, and restaurants and shops for nighttime activities. The pool was a great spot, as well, for a late afternoon swim. The unit was stocked well with sheets, towels, laundry detergent, soaps, etc. We had a wonderful time during our stay at Diane’s beautiful home.

We have previously stayed in two other islands, and this unit was the best. The unit itself was very spacious and clean. Being a corner unit, it also had a large lanai area where we enjoyed the ocean view and beautiful sunsets. Would definitely stay here again.

My family and I had an amazing time in this home. It has everything you need for a great time and more - like beach towels, body boards. Resting outside on the lanai enjoying the view and the sounds of the ocean was the highlight of the trip. Very grateful for this experience.

This condo lives up to the pictures and description: gorgeous, soothing ocean views, amazing sunsets from the lanai, plenty of space for our family of three, super close to excellent snorkeling, restaurants, grocery, etc. Very glad we chose this spot for our first visit to Hawaii!

Perfect location with breath taking sunset review every day ! The condo is in perfect location and is very close to the one of the best snorkeling beach on the island. The condo is beautiful and very well maintained, We felt right at the home for the few days staying there. Diane thought about very details to make sure her guest to have a wonderful stay there. This unit is absolutely amazing. Direct ocean front setting, with incredible lanai views. Corner unit, allowing multiple outdoor seating options. Unit was one of the cleanest VRBO units we've enjoyed.
Location was ideal, just far enough out of town, to avoid any crowds, but easy access to town. Gated community giving extra piece of mind on privacy. Very nice shopping mall right up the street, with well stocked market for all unit/food/beverage needs.
Our trip was flawless, from time of booking, to check-in, to check-out. Nothing but praise on this one!!!

We loved the location of proximity to everything. The beds were comfortable, kitchen and towels well stocked. They even have boogie boards and chairs and snorkel set if you need them. We saw dolphins and a whale from the Lanai and the sunsets are an activity in it’s self. The pool was so relaxing and the walking path to the black sand beach was fun as well. We would love to come back again and are sad to leave. We highly recommend this place.

Great location! Out of the Kona hubbub, but close enough to be convenient. Grocery store and a few little eateries nearby. End unit that does indeed offer spectacular sunset watching. One of the best snorkeling beaches is practically next door. Rented snorkel gear at Boss Frog in Kona- good service and reasonable rates. Appreciated the beach chairs and towels with the condo.

Great stay at this oceanfront condo! The location is fabulous - with a wrap around, ground level lanai we spent every night watching the sun go down on the Big Island. Grocery and several restaurants are within walking distance, and the community is great! You are outside of the business of Kona, but have everything you need nearby. Condo itself is a good size for 4 people, and the kitchen is well stocked. Great beach chairs and toys included. Bring your pickle-ball and tennis rackets along with ping-pong! We forgot and the Walmart was sold out.

This is the perfect place to stay in Kona. The views alone would have been worth it, honestly. You can't beat the sound of the ocean right outside. The home is well kept and cleaned and has everything you could need while staying. The host is amazing with communication and replied promptly with answers to everything. It feels like you're really a guest in someone's home, rather than feeding a big impersonal corporation. The condo complex was lovely, easy to find and navigate. The location is perfect. Close to a KTA for grocery shopping and a few great places for food. The drive into downtown Kona is 15-20 and close enough you don't spend too much time driving, but far enough away you don't feel like you're stuck in the very busy, very traffic heavy areas. If we ever get to go back, we will absolutely be trying to stay here again.

We had a wonderful few days at this property and the location was perfect for us. The view and lanai were fantastic. Unfortunately, we forgot our tennis racquets and hoped to borrow a couple but the property manager never responded to my phone call and no one was ever in the office when we stopped by a few times. The pillows in the master bedroom could use replacement and a coffee grinder would be a good addition to the kitchen appliances so we could enjoy the delicious Kona beans. We did find a dead roach near the washer/dryer upon arrival. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

Two friends and I stayed here while on a trip to celebrate a big birthday for one of us. Two of us had never been to Hawaii before. We enjoyed the cleanliness and comfort of this place. We spent most of our time on the patio enjoying the fantastic view. Diane called to check in us during our stay. We were grateful to have this comfy retreat to relax in - thank you!

This unit is in an excellent location. It is very private, gives the feeling of seclusion. We loved sitting on the lanai and watching the sunset each night with the waves crashing against the lava rocks. It was nice to have a green space out in back of the unit enhancing our evening on the lanai. However, as with most first floor units, there were noisy guests above us. Also, this unit appears to be mostly original. The cleaning crew must never do a deep clean. Dust hanging from the popcorn ceilings, cupboards were dirty inside and out. With that being said, we still had a wonderful vacation here : )

From the moment we walked into this property, we knew it was something special. It was bright and airy, well decorated and every need was anticipated, from beach chairs to umbrellas to boogie boards to snorkeling gear to pickle ball paddles. But the real treat was how close this corner unit was to the breakwater and the ocean. The soothing sound of the waves was all we heard our entire stay and there was a cool breeze all the time. Frankly, it was hard to leave the lanai every morning because it was so comfortable and relaxing. Hawaii is a big island, but we didn’t want to stay in multiple locations. Though we did have to drive a bit, we found the location to be convenient for all our excursions - exploring Volcanoes National Park, a trip to Hilo, a trip to Maura Kea for stargazing and days at the beautiful white sand beaches. It was always such a treat to return to the condo after a long day of adventures. We also took advantage of the property’s many amenities, including the pool. Communication with our host Diane was prompt and cordial and all the condo instructions were clear and understandable. This was truly one of our best finds ever on VRBO and we are so thankful it was available for our dates. Mahalo, Diane!

If there were 6 stars…that would be our rating. Outstanding, wonderful, and awesome are just a few of the words to describe this condominium. We wanted to be close to the action of Kona, but a little more on the quiet side. Checked that box. There are beach chairs, pool noodles, and beach towels. The lanai is perfect for outdoor dining and lounging. The view is spectacular. It is clean , neat, and cluttered. The pool and grounds are well maintained. Beach and grocery are a short 5 minute drive. We can’t recommend this place enough.

Excellent location and one step off lanai and you are on the lawn. The sounds of the surf can be hipnotizing and very relaxing. Keahou shopping center and a fruit stand are a easy walk away. I/we would definitely stay in this condo again.

We had an absolutely amazing time at this property! The location is amazing and the views never got old. Diane, the condo owner, was extremely responsive to every inquiry and we could sense her kindness through every email and text. Although an older unit, it had everything we needed and was the perfect spot for our family and our Hawaiian adventures. We would head back in a heartbeat! Mahalo!

Loved the location! Was walking distance to a good snorkel beach and a short & scenic drive into Kona Town. The condo was very clean and had some nice surprise amenities like beach chairs, boogie boards, big beach towels and even some sunscreen to get us started. Super comfortable and roomy. I would highly recommend to family and friends!

Property was as described, but the ocean views were better than we could have imagined!! Ocean surf hitting the cliffs in front of the condo and spraying upward (sometimes 50 feet or more) at sunset made for some amazing photos. No air conditioning but we opened the doors, which are on every side of the condo, and the ocean breeze was more than enough to keep us cool. Great home base for the hiking, swimming and exploring we did. Really appreciated the coolers, chairs, towels and boogie boards that were in the condo for our use. We did cook a lot at the condo and the kitchen was great. A lot of the restaurants and shops were closed (or closed early) at this time due to COVID-19, hopefully that will change soon. Great place to stay!!
