Everything was top notch perfect. We had a blast I would’ve given five stars but for some reason we didn’t have any hot water so the cold showers made for a four-star although as warm as it was, their cold showers were OK too

Updated unit with nice appliances and bonus wine fridge. The bathrooms were nicely remodeled as well. The pictures don’t do the ocean view enough Justice! The balcony was a bit small (compared to other units) but it had direct views of the cute pond and ocean across the street. Great condo complex in amazing central location on the island.

The only words to describe our stay are INCREDIBLE, MODERN, STOCKED and LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!
Having been to Kamaole Sands in the past, we know that Building 10 is the only place to be for views and quick access to the beach.
This end unit not only provides incredible Lanai views, but an amazing primary bedroom window view for sunsets and beach/fountain viewing.
This place was STOCKED. With everything. Kitchen items, seasoning, fridge items, toiletries, bags, coolers, chairs, etc. We didn't have to worry about much. Usually we have to shop for some staple items in the unit, but we only needed to find a few small things to enjoy our stay. Butter, Oils, Salt, Pepper, etc...it was all there.
The beach toys were aplenty. And were easy to use. And the whole place has Sonos system for easy listening in any room.
The AC works fast and easy. We never felt uncomfortable. And the unit was well laid out for 2 adults and a toddler.
Having this unit on the end makes it quiet and easy access to the stairs right near BBQ pits and walkway to the beach.
Check in, unit entrance/code and all materials ahead of time were extremely helpful and detailed.
Major props to these owners for putting in the effort for an A+ rental. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay and we enjoyed all the amenities of home. The accommodations were tastefully decorated, inviting, spacious and very clean. The pictures on site were accurate. The location was fantastic as well as the view. Communication was excellent and check-in and check-out simple.

The property is beautiful & well maintained. The unit itself offers a great location, not only on the property but within Kihei with beaches right across the street. The unit is updated with a lovely kitchen (nicely stocked pantry), great layout and beautiful view. We used the beach chairs/towels, umbrellas and coolers (much appreciated). Highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again.

This was a perfect place for my family of four! (Kids aged 13 & 10) Short walk to Kamaole Beach, a very nice pool area (hula by the pool one evening!) and beautifully landscaped property. The condo is well situated with a beautiful view of the fountains and the ocean too! Stairs and elevators make access to 3rd floor easy. Lots of BBQ pits in common area if you want to stay close for lunch or dinner. I cooked every morning to save money on breakfast. The kitchen was well equipped with everything I needed including an 8x10 baking dish and cooking spray! We made picnic sandwiches a few days and there were condiments as well such as Mayo and mustard. I hate having to buy and waste jars for just a couple uses so this was nice!! Having things like dishwasher and washing machine pods was really nice (even tho I brought some too!) I would bring your own shampoo/ conditioner/ soap if you’re particular. There were odds and ends there to use which was nice tho! And I really liked having beach chairs to use! Perfectly sized condo and I especially loved the wine fridge! Only negatives would be no lock on bedroom door and the lanai has warm air blowing on it (I think if the AC is on) but just turn it off if you are sitting out there!) we loved the lanai! Morning coffee and evening wine out there! We left the doors open a lot bc it was nice and cool but when it gets hot the AC’s cooled it down very quickly!

Kamaole Sands is a very well kept complex with beautiful grounds. Condo is in close proximity to the BBQ’s, pool, and beach. Very much appreciate being able to rent this property! Thank you!

Fantastic condo for a great value. Effortless use i.e. easy parking, gate access, elevators, trash nearby, steps near grill stations for quick to and from, new ac units, door code entrance, easy window and blind use, end of building - quiet and private, private balcony.
Spacious 2 big private bed/ba with new fixtures and fully stocked kitchen, reliable stainless steel appliances, modern decor, washer dryer, beach gear, cleaning tools for quick clean ups, you know a place is comfortable that you don't even need to think about it and it feels like you live there. Definitely would recommend to friends and stay here again. Near beach park, direct access to shopping plazas, grab and go, and short distance to highway, smack in between North to Hana and West side.

We had a group that reserved at least 10 condos at Kamaole Sands and our place was by far the nicest one. We have stayed at many VRBOs and this one was clean and soooo well stocked. I recommend checking in before you go shopping. You can walk to shops and restaurants. The complex grounds are clean and beautiful. The host is very responsive. Enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful condo- completely upgraded, high quality, comfortable beds, pillows, and luxury linens. Air conditioning worked very well. Kitchen well stocked and modern. Lots of thoughtful additional touches throughout such as dimmers on lighting, a makeup mirror, and table fan in the master for white noise/air flow. View from lanai is gorgeous. Building 10 is definitely desirable for walking across street to beach. This is also an end unit which is private and cuts down on any people (and noise) walking by. We loved it!

This condo became the third character in my adventure in Maui with my daughter. It was that safe place to stay to avoid crowds when we wanted to, our home base for cooking and resting. It was perfectly laid out for the 2 of us to have our own space and to also be together. It was stocked with everything we could need in the kitchen and we also made very good use of the beach equipment, most importantly the umbreally which allowed us to relax there for hours without burning. We loved the rooms, the decor and the co do itself functioned well as we figured out how to capture that ocean breeze so we didn't even need air conditioning. I also could not get enough of the view, which allowed me to soak up the beautiful sights and sounds of the island. The one detractor was the fountain out front which was crazy loud and obliterated the sound of the ocean waves. Fortunately they got turned off at night otherwise I would have complained. Other than that it was our best vacation ever.

Everybody in our party agreed this was one of our all time favorite rentals. The location across from Kamaole Beach III is superb. You can walk to pickup cinnamon rolls and coffee in the morning. Close to snorkeling in Makena. The unit is beautifully updated and has the best kitchen! Our family had rented 3 units at Kamaole Sands. This unit had the best kitchen for cooking and having everything we needed. Communication with the owner and island rep were responsive and helpful. Great spot!

Our time at Kamaole Sands on Maui will go down as one of the best vacations we've had. The condo is well updated, however there were a few issues that will hopefully be fixed for future guests (eg. none of the mechanized blinds in the ocean-facing bedroom worked preventing getting that great view, some remotes missing for TV, no snorkel gear despite it being in the description), but these are undoubtedly first world problems in paradise. The owner was completely responsive and his property manager was as well, however the issues noted couldn't be fixed during our stay. All said, it's a great condo, great location, and we loved every minute! Missing being there already!

We wanted a condo with a good location, we got that as well as a great owner and everything we expected was exceeded. Thank you and highly recommend this property, you won’t regret it. It’s in Building 10 which is the building in the complex with the best ocean views and access. BBQs and outside area very nice.
Only thing even close to needing addressed was the fitness center. It’s outdated and some of the equipment is broken. It’s not up to the standards of the rest of the property. But then again, you are in Hawaii, so do you plan to be in the gym that much? :-)

Our family’s first trip to Hawaii was made that much more special having spent a week in this wonderful conso that was perfect for our family of four. It’s newly renovated, clean, uncluttered, with a fully stocked kitchen; this gave us the flexibility to not eat out every meal. Beautifully kept grounds, show stopping sunset every night, proximity to the beach, etc, we’re all major pluses. Would definitely book again, and recommend it without reservation.

This property is just amazing! We have stayed at Kam Sands many times throughout the years and decided to bring family with us this time. This is by far the best unit we have stayed in. The view can’t be beat! The renovations that have been done are exceptional. We loved the giant island and had many family dinners there. The beds were extremely comfortable and the AC worked like a dream! Everything you need is provided (including things you didn’t think of packing/bringing). Well thought out and thoughtful! We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s a perfect setup for two couples. The decor is fun & appealing, the beds are comfy, and everything was spotlessly clean. We loved being right across from the beach. There were boogie boards & snorkels, and lots of fluffy beach towels. The kitchen was very well equipped with anything one could ever need. We did have issues with the electric bedroom blinds (which was disclosed when we booked), but we called the property manager, Caleb, and he came right over with a workaround for them. 😁
The location is great....it’s a quick walk to lots of great restaurants in Kihei. The sunset views from the balcony were fabulous.
