With its central location and thoughtful amenities, this Kauai vacation rental is sure to exceed every expectation. If you’re looking for proof, all you have to do is read our glowing reviews. Past guests often comment that their Kauai experience would not have been the same had they stayed anywhere else.

Our vacation home, Ka Pua Hale—meaning “Blossom House”—couldn’t be better situated. The secluded Sea Lodge Beach is less than a mile away, and its pristine shoreline is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or basking in the sun. Bike to Queens bath and hike down to experience the rugged coastline and unique natural pool. Five minute walk to the Princeville walking/bike path and you can get to the shopping center one mile in one direction and to Hideaway beach one mile in the other direction. The Princeville community is a very walkable community with beaches, restaurants, golf and shopping all within a mile of the house. Visit the 2,500-acre Princeville Ranch, 10 minutes away, where you can zipline through the jungle, explore the local waterfalls on horseback, and kayak down Kauai’s picturesque Kalihiwai Stream.

After a full day of adventure, Ka Pua Hale is the perfect retreat. The house is surrounded by a lush tropical garden and a one-and-a-half-acre community park, ideal for practicing your golf stroke or watching the sunset over the Namolokama mountain range. The home also includes a shaded lanai with an outdoor dining area and barbecue.

Inside, the cathedral ceilings and Tommy Bahama-style furnishings invite you to kick back in true Hawaiian comfort. Our vacation rental costs less than any Princeville hotel. But, unlike a hotel, you get a full private home with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, an outdoor shower, and a full-sized washer and dryer. We also provide plenty of extra amenities, including mountain bikes, a high chair, a Pack ’n Play, snorkel gear, golf clubs, boogie boards, and beach chairs. We really enjoyed staying at this beautiful house in Kauai. It was so nice to have a well stocked kitchen with everything you would need. The outdoor area was perfect to relax in. There was plenty of room for all five of us. The neighborhood is very nice and we enjoyed walking in the evenings. All around, a great place to stay and enjoy Kauai!

Loved the Kauai vacation home rental. Princeville is a great safe home base to explore the North side of the island. Here you will find some of the best hiking and beaches all within a 1/2 hour drive. Some are even just a short walk from the property. On the North side you have to work a bit harder to access some of the beaches, but the payoff is worth it. Tunnels, Sea Lodge, and Ke’e offered some of the best snorkeling. Queens Bath was difficult to get to, but the views were amazing. Quick 10 drive brings you to Hanalei Bay. This is the perfect house for a family of six. Highly recommend!!!

What a beautiful house we stayed at in Princeville! We loved the outdoor shower, the extremely well stocked kitchen for cooking, and garage for beach toys. Liz has literally thought about everything!!! The neighborhood was amazing; quiet and safe with nice helpful neighbors. We loved seeing the Albatross nesting, and also being so close to Hanalei Bay. The quiet streets were perfect for morning walks/runs. The house was also extremely clean with comfortable beds, and it was so helpful to have a washer and dryer too! Kudos to Liz for being one of the best hosts we have ever had on VRBO. If we ever come back to Kauai we wouldn't hesitate to book this again!

We loved our stay in Princeville. The island of Kauai is nothing short of paradise. My family of 6 loved the home and would stay again without hesitation. The house is fully equipped and situated in a cozy cul de sac. The home owner left an array of island information that was helpful (make sure to visit Sealodge beach). The beds were comfortable and we had no issues at all. We used the bikes and beach equipment. Enjoyed great meals outside on the patio and falling asleep to the sound of the rain was so peaceful. The owner was responsive and helpful when we reached out to her. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We traveled with my daughters 10 & 12, my husband and myself to the North shore to stay 4 nights in Princeville. After having stayed in Poipu at a hotel for a few nights, we were so happy to have plenty of space to spread out at this property. I loved waking up to the back yard view from the master bedroom, hearing the birds and Hawaiian sounds. The neighborhood is great—location ideal to getting to Hanalei, and especially walking to a couple prize beaches. They had everything on hand that we needed—beach towels, chairs, sand toys, boogie boards. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, and more! We loved the big “park” behind their backyard where we threw a football. The outdoor shower was my favorite part! Very attentive and responsive hosts. Hard to leave…

If you want to stay on the north side of Kauai, stop your search and book this home now. It is such a lovely place and accommodated our family (2 adults, 4 kids) perfectly. The decor is tropical and comfortable. We really felt at home. The kitchen is well stocked, the grill came in handy, and the grocery is nearby. Maybe the most special part of the property is the yard. Though there are neighbors, it was quiet and the backyard is so private. You feel like you have your own slice of paradise! We saw many birds, frogs, lizards, and a few snails. There is also access to an open field right out back that’s great for kids to stretch their legs, kick a ball around, etc. The outdoor shower is convenient for washing the beach sand away, and you can see the mountains! The home is an easy drive to Hanalei Bay, which is perfect for swimming, relaxing, etc. This home had more beach supplies than we could have ever made use of! In summary, I spent hours and hours researching possible vacation homes as we planned our Kauai trip, and this property exceeded our expectations!

House was beautiful!! Liz and Dave thought of everything. There are bikes, snorkel gear, umbrellas and chairs in the garage, among many others! The scenery is beautiful and centrally located in Princeville. Love that the house is environmentally friendly. Only surprise was that there was no AC but that is on me for not thoroughly reading the listing. With the fans going and windows for a cross breeze it really was not too bad! Thanks for the great stay!

This is not a vacation house, it is a home. Perfect location, beautifully decorated and appointed with everything needed to create an amazing vacation. The owners have designed an incredible experience and as soon as you open the door, you feel the aloha spirit enter your soul. Bikes, boogie boards, snorkels, etc. were in great shape and easy to facilitate. Towels were plentiful and having a full size washer and dryer available was amazing. The outdoor shower kept the sand outside where it belongs and was utilized daily. There were so many times we would say, I wonder if there is (insert item here) and we would open a drawer and find it! Our granddaughters summed up the experience by stating “this house feels like it’s hugging you” Mahalo Liz and Dave, you truly created a perfect vacation home.

Wonderful house. We enjoyed the area and being able to walk to a local beach. We didn’t realize north shore beaches were closed in winter but founds lots to the south, it was just a bit of a longer drive. My kids enjoyed the outside shower, boogieboards and bikes. I like having a beach umbrella for shade. Owner was available by text quickly when needed. We would stay here again.

Our family loved this house and the home like feel. The house itself was well stocked with everything we needed for our day outings and to feel comfortable. The neighborhood was extremely friendly and welcoming! Out of our two stays in the area this home was by far the better! Thank you we will be back for sure!

Our family traveled to 4 different islands over the holidays and stayed in 6 different houses during that time (too many if you need to know but lesson learned for next time). We chose this house for the days leading up to and after Christmas and it was perfect. The hosts even put up a Christmas tree for us! IIt was everyone's favorite house of the trip. Comfortable, well equipped, lots of space but still cozy and all sorty of amenities to borrow - cooler, boogie boards, snorkle gear, etc. And how could I forget about the outdoor shower?! The grounds were beautiful as was the neighborhood and every neighbor we talked with was so friendlly. Perfection!

We spent 3 lovely days at this house in Princeville. House was well stocked with beach gear and other stuff for activities. There was also every kitchen tool you could need. Location was awesome, walkable/bike to everywhere. I would note that there is no AC in the house, which was fine for us but it was a bit warm at night. The check out time was also 10 am even though the listing on VRBO said 11 am. I would definitely stay here again.

Overall we had a great time at this house and all of the positives that other reviewers mention are spot-on. The outdoor shower is great!! The only thing I am surprised is not mentioned is how loud the birds are. Myself and my other family members were woken up almost every day during our week long stay from 3-5AM by birds who live in the surrounding trees. Be prepared to get up, close the windows (which makes it hot), and use earplugs. Not all beach equipment pictured is available for use (like the longboard). Lastly, we were charged for a stain that was found in one of the rooms that was covered by a mat the entire time we were in the house. I don't think the spill was caused by anyone in my group, otherwise I wouldn't mind paying for it. Initially Liz told me it should be covered by property damage, and then she held $500 of my security deposit... seemed a bit extreme for a spill onto a dresser that was probably caused by a previous guest and not found until after our stay. Ended up getting refunded some of the amount, but it was a stressful experience that left me with a bad feeling about the stay. I wish Liz had communicated better throughout, and it seems like you will just get charged for any damages found after your visit - regardless of when they actually occurred. Based on the other positive reviews I think we just had an unlucky situation.

Great house for our family of 4, enough room to spread out but still cozy. Kitchen has everything you need, fans (and trade winds) keep the place cool, and it’s within easy walking/biking distance to several nice beaches and Princeville Center restaurants/shopping. Quiet and relaxing!

Note: Vacancy calendar is approximate. Visit the owner/manager's reservation site to verify your dates.
