We are four lifelong friends, all of us in our 60s, who love a good travel adventure. This year's trip included a week on Kauai followed by a week on Oahu enjoying a condo Ko Olina This condo was above and beyond what we were expecting. We watched sunrises and sunsets most days out on the lanai and have some wonderful photos to remember our adventure. The resort is lovely and has many entertainment options available to guests. Swimming and snorkeling in the lagoon was particularly enjoyable. The beaches were well groomed and clean. Every staff member we interacted with were knowledgable, polite and willing to help in any way they could. All in all, it was a great week at Ko Olina and I hope to visit again in the future.

Words cannot express the beauty of this location. The room was just as listed and has everything one would want or need during their stay. The view from the room is majestic and the sunset views are amazing. The pools are perfect for both kids and people who want some more quiet. The lagoon was a perfect way to swim in the Pacific without worry of the waves. Cannot wait until we can come back to see more of what Ohau has to offer.

My family stayed here for a week in April. The condo was great and the instructions throughout the condo were clear and concise. The dishwasher didn't always clean the dishes thoroughly so we ended up hand washing, but overall everything in the condo was as described. The views were great and especially enjoyable for sunset. The location couldn't be better: easy access to the beach, pool, small shopping center, and only 35 minutes to Waikiki when there isn't traffic. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved our time in Beach Tower 606. The view is amazing and it is so quiet. The location is perfect for getting around. The place is well equipped with everything you might want or need. We were here for a week and loved every minute. There are pools and barbecues and even a bar! Beach towels, beach chairs and beach toys are here for your use as well. Melissa was very responsive to all our questions and needs. A great stay, would highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks with some friends joining us for a portion. The unit is great for 2 couples. The resort is fantastic overall with golf, beaches, pools, and restaurants to choose from. The villas offer some beach chair and umbrella set up and Rob took great care of us. Melissa is ALWAYS responsive and made our stay wonderful. We will definitely return.

We stayed for just over a week, and the location, property, and villa were all beautiful. Kitchen was modern and well-stocked. The view on our lanai was amazing. There were beach accessories, including boogie boards, though the beach chairs didn't work well and need replacing. Everything else was wonderful, and we would love to stay here again!

We had a fabulous stay at this beautiful condo in Ko Olina. The property is in a great location, very close to the beach, great view, walking distance to everything. This unit has all the amenities you need for a fun trip to the beach, very nice accommodations, and you can't beat the view from the lanai!! The property has two nice pools, a fitness center, a Starbucks cart (in the morning), and a beach bar for cocktails. There are no restaurants on the property, but it's a very short walk over to the Marriott, Aulani, Four Seasons, or the plaza that has a couple restaurants, shops, and market. The property manager is very easy to work with and provided with all of the details we needed. I'd highly recommend!

This was our first experience using a host for our vacation, as our children transition from the neighboring Aulani experience. As much as we love the area, this property and our experience exceeded our expectations. The home gives you the comfort of a home that is stocked with the amenities you need for the beach life (yes, boogie board, beach towels, and sand toys were available). As you end your day, the lanai gives you the perfect sunset view every day. We're definitely coming back to this property for our annual family stay. For those who want to travel around the island, the underground parking was an added bonus.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was nice to be able to hear the ocean waves from the balcony. They really stepped up with all the amenities here. We had beach towels plus beach chairs and a mini cooler. It was a nice and mostly quiet place plus you feel very secure coming here. We plan to come back again.

You will spend all your time catching the views on the Lanai! The unit is about 2 units away from direct beach front- so the sunset is to your left .
Great property. Enjoyed the upgraded appliances, beach gear (chairs, mats, cooler) and extra deep soaking tub.
Beach bar is also fun.
We were able to make breakfast a few days and also papa johns will deliver to property.

The pictures don't do it justice. Everything about this place is wonderful. Great kitchen amenities. Plenty of towels for the beach and bathrooms. The views from the lanai are breathtaking. First chose this unit for the view. Arrived to find it even more than a good view! Well equipped, comfortable and the perfect place to find some R&R with options for all. Can't beat the morning, afternoon and/or evening walks along the ocean. The lagoon swimming is also first rate! Ocean swimming at its best. A great base to do as much or as little as you want on the island. Front row seat for sunsets from the lanai is just one thing that brought us back. Looking forward to the next stay! Working with Melissa was a pleasure. Definitely recommended.

we just came back from this wonderful apartment and already planning to go back. the apartment is stunning - the most beautiful view from the lanai, extremely well equipped (the boogie boards and beach chairs were the icing on the cake, thank you!), lovely kitchen, super comfortable beds and the best bath tubs ever. the beach villa facilities are also top notch - the ONLY complaint was the water in the family pool was really cold but that didn't stop our enjoyment. the beach is fantastic and safe for the kids. I ran every morning along the beach, we went to wet n' wild (expensive but fun), snorkeled and watched the fireworks on NYE from the lanai. couldn't recommend this more. thank you for wonderful stay!

Everything was like mentioned in the description; Service (arrival, check-in, check-out) was perfect. The people were so nice! We really enjoyed our stay at Ko Olina Resort. The "adult-only" pool was nice and quiet all the time, the familiy pool was a bit crowded. Not many people at the beach - no matter what time we went there. The appartment is equipped with evertyhing you need - even for a longer stay. Besides the "normal" stuff we found beach towels, beach chairs, boogie-boards... Everything was really clean and in a good condition. In the evening we really enjoyed sitting on the terrasse watching the sun goes down - an amazing view!
We liked the possibility to walk to Ko Olina Station where you can find restaurants and shops. Forget abaout the breakfast at the Mariott Hotel nearby - it's not worth it.

We discovered Ko Olina last August totally by accident from the VRBO website and were once again very happy with our choice. This was our first stay at this resort and probably our 15th time to Hawaii. Ko Olina is so far removed from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki, but close enough that if you want that, it is only about 45 minutes away by car.
My first impressions of the Condo were somewhat mixed, but good overall. I am typically more critical when reviewing condos because I desgin buildings for a living. Walking into the unit, my first reaction was to the fabulous views. The pictures don't do it any justice - it has to be seen to be appreciated. The Lanai is fabulous and large with comfortable seating. My other reaction which was a little more negative was to the overall size and layout of the Great room. The kitchen, Living and dining area are all an open design, but the arrangement is odd with the kitchen taking up a good half of the front of the unit (near the windows) and the dining area is to the rear of the room away from the windows. To make matters worse, the living area is cramped and not suited to watching TV at all. The Living room seating area is turned 90 degrees to the TV making this an extremely awkward and uncomfotable arrangement. Unfortunately, this is not something the owner has much control over, other than the arrangement and choice of seating. I would suggest a simple solution would be to turn the living room seating parallel with the TV wall so that the sofa faces the TV directly and the 2 chairs could be placed on either side and angled towards the TV as well.
My other comment will be about the limited choices for dining in the Ko Olina area in general. The area is realtively new, so that may be one reason for the low number of choices here. There is a town about 10 minutes away by car that has a few more choices, but the majority will be further away. Anyone wanting to rent here needs to be aware of this and be willing to drive - there is no reataurant onsite, and restaurants at the neighbouring resorts are very busy. This may not be a problem if you plan to cook most of your meals in the Condo - there is a grocery store very close by plus a Safeway and Costco 10 minutes away by car.
Regardless of anything I've said above though, I still prefer this area over anything in Waikiki and would definately return to Ko Olina!

We have stayed at this resort several other times and prefer this building and this side for the wonderful view and sun exposure...this condo is high enough to fully enjoy the view above the palms yet still have the feeling of being close to the waves. The owner was response to on site requests and the unit was clean and in good order. We have watched the Ko Olina area grow over the last 10 years and are relieved to see it has still retained the relaxed, aloha spirit. Doesn't hurt to have the Disney resort nearby either. Our 7 year old granddaughter was overjoyed to visit the character brunch. Will definitely book here again.

My husband and I chose to stay at a condo for our honeymoon last August. This specific condo - WOW. When we walked through the door upon our arrival, it was just as beautiful as the pictures. We were so thrilled that we were able to stay here in this condo for our once-in-a-lifetime vacation as the new Mr. and Mrs. It was clean, comfortable, had amazing views, quiet and the setting was to die for. It was so nice to just walk downstairs to the villas' private lagoon and beach, and we loved walking the path along all of the lagoons. I would most definitely return and rent out this condo the next time we find ourselves on Oahu.

My family and I just enjoyed an 8 night stay at Ko Olina. The condo is very well maintained and has everything you need in the kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry area. The outdoor lanai was such a nice treat, we spent much of our evening time there, enjoying the sunset.
The resort area is great for families with children. We took the kids (1 and 5) to the beach each morning, and the pool each evening. My husband and I used the gym daily too. We made a reservation in advance at the nearby Aulani for the Disney Characters Brunch, and the kids really enjoyed it.
I would highly recommend this vacation villa.

My review could be a repeat of others (all the positive stuff), but I will try to cover a couple of additional items. The unit, being on the 6th floor, is a good compromise between price and height. There are similar units for rent in the same building on the same side, but looking to charge more due to being higher up. The 6th floor was above the palm trees and chapel next door, so the views fully expansive of the beach, ocean, and mountains.
We chose the Ko Olina Villas as we were a family of 5 of which 2 were first timers to Hawaii. Wanted to be able to access the usual tourists sites of Oahu, but have a more Maui relaxed feel to where we stayed. Ko Olina does this very well.
We stayed over the New Year's holiday. The resort put up a spectacular fire works display that went up from lagoons 1 and 3 in a synchronized show. The Villas are on lagoon 2, so we had the best spot possible to see the show going up from both sides.
Prices for food and restaurants are generally higher in Hawaii than the mainland. Add in the fact that this is a resort and the prices can be a little shocking. We went to the Disney buffet dinner and found it good, but typical buffet food. All in, it was over $280 for 5 people (no booze). The local shopping area about 4 miles down the road has plenty of places to eat at more normal prices.
One suggestion for the owner / agent is to provide a listing of the main TV channels. There are several hundred available, but it was hard to find the few that we wanted (New Years bowl games). The fact that the bedroom TV's have different channel numbering than the living room added to the difficulty. But this is a minor complaint easily fixed.
Again, the unit is great, the agent was great, the building is great, the location is great. Don't hesitate to rent.

I have stayed at the Ko Olina Villas quite a number of times. I will say that this stay was the most pleasant and easiest to book. The description of the villa was right on. All the images were exactly how the Villa was and upon entering it seemed very clean and well-maintained.
The entire booking process with Melissa and David (up to the prompt return of the deposit) was very professional and courteous. Any questions I had was answered by Melissa immediately. During our stay we did not encounter any issues so did not test their maintenance responses.
On previous visits to the Ko Olina Villas there seemed to always be some type of work happening on the grounds. This time around I noticed all pools were open the entire time, the gym was accessible, all bbqs were in good working order and the bar by the swimming pool was actually open. It seems like the association has put some money in to ensure all facilities are in good working order.
I would highly recommend the Ko Olina Villas, especially this one. We look forward to our next visit and would definitely book from Melissa and David.

We were looking forward to staying at this villa, and when we first opened the door to enter it had a "WOW" factor. The villa definitely exceeded our expectations! This place is beautiful along with the views from the lanai. The staff at the beach villas were extremely friendly and made us feel welcomed. The villa has all high end appliances and basic spices and there was no need to go out to dinner. We enjoyed watching the sunsets from villa and the beach. David and Mellisa were a pleasue to deal with and everything with the rental process was very professional. I would recommend this unit to everyone for the cleanliness and the view!

This villa was perfect for our family. My mom and step-dad as well as my aunt and me had an amazing vacation in Oahu and at the Ko Ollina Beach Villas. This particular villa is furnished beautifully with a gorgeous kitchen, top notch appliances, great tv and sound system and fantastic proximity to spas, restaurants and shops. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The staff were so helpful and kind, and the grounds are very well maintained. I would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone looking for a gorgeous ocean view, easy walk to the beach and nearby restaurants and shops, and wonderful accommoodations throughout the stay!

This is a very late entry and I normally don't write reviews, but this villa in Ko'Olina is simply amazing! My family, including my husband and 2-year-old daughter, along with another couple stayed at David's condo last year and it was more than we could ask for. The place is well kept, clean, and has state of the art utilities. Melissa and David made the booking process easy and ensured we had everything we needed during our stay. Even when the dryer broke at the beginning of our trip, Melissa and David were right on it and sent someone out immediately to fix it (the washer/dryer came in very handy during our vacation). Our favorite part about the villa was definitely the lanai. We woke up every morning and enjoyed the views for hours before even leaving the unit, and we spent every night watching the sunset from the lanai. Pure relaxation! The kitchen was fully stocked so we were able to cook a lot of our meals, which saved us some money. There was even a BBQ by the pool area we used. Very convenient. Lagoon 2, which was where the villa was located, was definitely the best out the 4. Quiet, peaceful, and the water was amazing! The waves were mild and calm. My daughter loved it and even learned how to swim there! I can't say enough about our stay here. We have been to Oahu several times, but staying in Ko'Olina at this condo was definitely the best trip we've had to Oahu! We hope to come back soon.

Luxury condo, top of the line appliances and beautiful décor. Breathtaking views, watch dolphins from lanai and unforgettable sunsets. Unit is fully stocked with linens, beach gear, and small kitchen appliances. Very spacious and comfortable unit, I loved the split bedrooms and 2 full baths. Master suite with comfortable king bed and 2nd bedroom with full bed. Great for families or 2 couples. The local market on the resort is excellent, large selection of grocery items. My family enjoyed our stay, and will seek out this unit on future trips to HI.

This was our first trip to Hawaii and initially we planned to stay right on Waikiki. Fortunately we chose Ko Olina instead and couldn't have been happier. It's 30 minutes away from downtown Honolulu, sometimes longer with the traffic, however it's much nicer and you get more of a Hawaiian feel in Ko Olina. When we took a drive to Waikiki we were very happy that we chose the seclusion of Ko Olina instead. There are all the amenities you could want within a 10 minute drive including restaurant's, Wal-Mart, Target, Costco, etc. Everything is very clean and new in this area.
We have 2 boys, 5 & 6, and they loved all the time at the resort pool and the ocean lagoon's. Everyday we spent at least a few hours at each and the limited amount of people at each made for very relaxing sun time.
Regarding David's villa, we were 100% satisfied with the layout, cleanliness, and service. You can tell that the comfort of their visitors is their primary concern. The entire villa is very modern with the highest grade in appliances and furniture, and the beds were very comfortable. The view is incredible and was great to wake up to each morning.
Melissa & Eric were very helpful throughout our stay. All in all the entire family had a wonderful experience and we hope to come again in a couple years and stay at the same place.
