The location was nicely placed close to a nice beach and shops/restaurants and harbor. Saw turtles daily! Nice unit and timely communication with owners. Great space for 2 people as not set up for more than that regarding eating. Small kitchen and hallways made it challenging to prep meals and enter/exit unit with items in hand. Overall very nice!!

We love this place! Very quiet. Kitchen well stocked and love to sit on the lanai! Close to a nice beach walk that isn’t crowded.
The only thing I would change is the sofa. It is very firm and becoming uncomfortable. Also, for those that may have mobility issues, the chairs on the lanai are quite tall. I like the laundry upstairs. We will return!!

Property is great.. got to see sea turtles every day.. easy walk to local beach.... easy walk to sea excursions.. only issue is there is limited air conditioning... we ended up not using it.. we just used trade wind flow through condo.

Great location, amenities, and AMAZING view! It felt like a peaceful retreat, just a short drive from main areas and short walk to essential shopping, food, and the harbor. Loft area was not very clean (mainly the carpet - obviously not vacuumed as upon arrival we found dirt, sand, beads…). Overall, definitely recommend.

The location of this condo is fantastic situated between West and South Maui it was a breeze to get to either side quickly. The ocean front was glorious to sit out to have our morning coffee and the constant sound of the waves was dreamy.This unit served our needs during our stay, however, there are some things that could use updating/replacing. The carpet on the stairs in the loft is in desperate need of replacement. It's dirty and stained and I'm not even sure it can be professionally cleaned. The sofa is very uncomfortable. It feels like a simple wood frame with very little cushion support. While we typically don't spend alot of time "lounging" in our condo, we were unfortunately forced to spend a few days condo bound due to the hwy closure during the wildfires. The queen bed in the main floor bedroom was not comfortable and was very "springy". When one person would move the entire bed would bounce. We did keep the windows open to have the breeze come through, however, some days the winds were too strong and we couldn't keep the windows open because the screen upstairs would pop off. We also noticed when the windows were open there would be dust/dirt covering all the surfaces and floors of the condo, which required us to sweep/mop and wipe surfaces continually. The breeze didn't keep the loft area not the main floor bedroom cooled. There is an air conditioner but it's located in the far corner of the living room and wasn't able to cool any areas other than the living room and kitchen.The management company was very quick to respond to any issues or concerns that we had, which was wonderful.Overall this condo served our needs for our stay. I believe if some of these minor issues are addressed it would be a 5 star unit.

Perfect vacation place! Amazing ocean view, quiet, relaxing place to stay. Dining and shopping short walk away. Tante restaurant was great! Cute gift shops. Walk to marina for boat tours. Turtle sightings every day from the patio! Beautiful! Buzz was great! He gave us lots of suggestions for sights to see and even sang songs for the group on Saturday! Would definately stay again. Thank you!

Beautiful view! Loved sitting on the lani just taking in the fresh air. Nice accomodations. Loved watching the turtles playing in the surf. Only one disappointment the speakers on tv sounded blown. Overall wonderful 9 nights? Would very much consider a repeat visit!!!!

The view from the deck was gorgeous although we did not get a view of sunsets. We even saw some whales off shore one day. The condo was very comfortable. We even used the common barbecue a couple nights and found it clean and easy to use.

Overall, this is a very nice condo. The views of the ocean are beautiful, the residents are quiet and the grounds and pool are very nice and not crowded. The balcony does not face west, so the description of being able to watch the sunset each night is not accurate. The balconies face south. We did have one major problem and that was termites. Their dung was falling from the vaulted wooden ceiling above the kitchen peninsula and under the upstairs bathroom vanity. We reported it immediately, but the process took awhile with VRBO, the on-site manager and CBIP working on it. Only one of us could sit and eat at the peninsula at mealtime. They were to have done some spot treatment for the termites two days after we left and the entire building is to be tented and sprayed in October. We were very pleased with CBIP’s handling of the situation, as we were refunded money, which made this situation a little easier deal with. We understood that it is Hawaii and this is a common problem. Otherwise, it is a very nice unit and we were quite comfortable there for our two weeks. There are very few restaurants in the village, but if you drive either direction for 20-25 minutes (Lahaina or Kehei) you will find a lot of good restaurants.

I spent 10 days with my sister at this property we saw whales continually on the lanai. The grounds are beautiful the unit was spotless and just how it looks in the pictures. I am definitely coming back. I loved my stay.

We enjoyed almost two weeks at Banyans 412 in Jan/Feb. Fabulous central location for travelers who don't need the full resort experience, esp easy walk to Sugar Beach one direction and the Harbor the other. [walk to the general store & cafe for sundry items, wine, and fantastic fish&chips) Condo was clean with well equipped kitchen, laundry worked great, online photos were truthful. When you arrive at the unit after a long flight, treat yourself to a hot shower in the main floor bathroom--wowza wonderful! Definitely recommend the top-floor units in this building for the loft and the amazing views of the whales in the bay. CBIP Vacations was a great property manager with multiple emails re: check in and our satisfaction. But more than that, we appreciated their attentive actions because we were there during the recent floods in Kihei and upcountry. We were very safe but they reached out to make sure we knew how to contact them if we had any concerns or issues during that weather. Recommend 412 and hope to get back.

Condo was fantastic, views were amazing. This is a very small building, I believe 80 units. Very quiet, peaceful and in a quiet area. Very centrally located. I would absolutely recommend this condo. Only downside was couch was uncomfortable. Washer/dryer in unit made stay alit easier too

Wonderful rental property. Loved the ocean bay views. Beautiful sunrises in the morning. 5 mile beach within walking distance. Snorkeling excursion within walking distance. Loved the general store with cafe. Hallway to rental needs to be brighter for safety reasons. Air conditioner was repaired when notified of malfunction. Unit was cooler and comfortable for sleeping. Property across the street could use some curb appeal. Would stay again. Loved the kitchen and living area with bay view.

Nice unit as described and overall it was fairly quiet. The unit itself could address a couple of items, #1-oven and cooktop need to be calibrated as there was no sense to how it cooked food.
#2-could use a new blender as the lid had missing cap
#3-having some basics such as tin foil, Saran Wrap and ziplocks would have been appreciated.

We had a great time during our stay. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed during our stay. It was a little warm for me with only having a small window ac downstairs. However, opening all the windows allowed for a nice breeze from the ocean in and cooled the unit down. The pool outside was nice and heated. There were gas grills next to the pool area that we used several times during our stay. Sea turtles could be seen every day in front of the condo on the little beach. It was a great stay and we'd love to come back and stay here on our next visit.

Really enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the sea turtles. Because the condo is on the top floor, you can leave the your windows and doors open all night, so you get the nice cool ocean breeze, and the sound of the waves is very relaxing.

We stayed at Maalaea Banyon for the month of February. Enjoyed the views, the whale and turtle watching, and the Maui Ocean center. Recommend this location. Easy access to all parts of Maui.

We loved staying at Ma’alaea Banyans, this was our 3rd year coming out, first time in this unit. It was just perfect for myself, husband, son and daughter in law. We loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves at night and waking up to the beautiful sunrise over Haleakala and the views of the whales and turtles. This was truly our home away from home for 10
days and we are already planning our return trip next year! Mahalo and aloha!

Our unit was ready by the advertised check-in time. Top rated customer service who was readily available to answer any questions. Unit was very clean, beds very comfortable, and well stocked kitchen. A good supply of starter supplies were stocked. The beach towels/beach chairs were a nice addition. Sitting on the comfortable lanai daily and watching the whales, as well as turtles, was very fun. The proximity of being in between both Kihei and Lahaina made it very easy to drive to either within 15/20 minutes. Highly recommend this unit.

My wife and I arrived at the condo and and were quite pleased.I will bring to your attention that there is only a window A/c unit downstairs so it was quite warm upstairs, so after the first night we decided to just have the windows open. In the shower downstairs there is is a water leak in the ceiling.We were having difficulty opening the patio door so I had to put the sliding door back on its track.The screen door needs to be adjusted.

My family and I had a great stay at Unit #412 at the Maalaea Banyans. With two adults and two little kids we found the unit to be perfect for everything we needed. The trade winds kept the place nice and cool, and the view was spectacular. We used the kitchen for cooking meals, watched the sunrise from the lanai every morning, and had a short walk to the nearby Haycraft park/beach, restaurants and shopping at the harbor, and the aquarium. Being able to do laundry was a big plus and it was nice having a fridge/freezer, and fully furnished place. Our kids loved the sand toys and board games. We found Maalaea to be centrally located and a short drive to Lahaina, Kihei, and Kahului. We really felt like it was a home away from home. I highly recommend this place.

Check in process was really easy. Property is right in the middle and the entire island is accessible. Definitely will want a rental car. The breeze keeps the unit cool and comfortable. Definitely recommend and would stay again
