As one of only five oceanfront 2 bedroom suites at Honua Kai, Konea 401 boasts a premier vantage point in the most sought-after column of two bedroom suites at the entire resort. The stunning location affords year-round sunsets and breathtaking views of the Pacific, along with views of Maui’s neighbor islands Molokai and Lanai.
Relax and enjoy Maui from Konea 401’s lavish interior. This suite features Honua Kai's largest two bedroom floor plan, with an expansive 1620 sq. ft. of interior living space vs the standard 1100-1300 sq. ft. Bask in the natural light and the azure blue glow of the Pacific from the kitchen, dining, and living area. Konea 401 is also one of the rare Honua Kai two bedroom suites to have direct ocean views right from the master bedroom. We encourage you to express your culinary creativity in the well-appointed kitchen. The space is fully equipped with stainless steel Bosch appliances and granite countertops, and we have provided every appliance & utensil to prepare the perfect meal or refreshment…just bring the ingredients. Enjoy your meals on the oversized 415 sq. ft. balcony or dine indoors in the climate controlled air conditioning. In addition, our commercial grade Vitamix blender lends itself well to preparing creative libations or smoothies with fresh local produce. If you feel like grilling, Konea 401 comes equipped with its own built-in Viking B.B.Q. grill right on the balcony.
When nightfall comes and it is time to rest and recharge for another day in paradise, you’ll be delighted to sink into one of the sumptuous king sized beds in each bedroom. Each bedroom features a flat panel TV for your viewing enjoyment and each bedroom affords views of the ocean. With advance notice one of the beds can be split into two XL twins at no additional charge. Should you require additional sleeping space, the couch in the living room can be converted into a queen sofa sleeper with additional space for 2, bringing the total sleeping capacity to 6.
Two luxurious full bathrooms further accentuate the Konea 401 experience. Each is appointed with dual granite vanities and a glass walk-in shower. Should you wish to draw a bath and enjoy your favorite book or a glass of wine, each bathroom also features a separate soaking tub. Honua Kai occupies 38 pristine beachfront acres on the shores of Kaanapali’s North Beach so you’ll literally be just steps away from the tranquility of Maui’s shoreline. Nice property with a great view and a beautiful BBQ but very dirty inside the condo with very old lumpy couch and 2 small old chairs and 2 of the appliances didn’t work well. Also 2 fire alarms 1 at 3am and the next night at 10 pm and both were false and no instructions on what to do. Very poor management of the alarms.

This property is beautiful, just as it appears in the pictures! It's spacious, so our family of five was able to spread out in 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (though one bathroom doesn't have a shower), the living room, dining room, kitchen, and beautiful patio overlooking the ocean. Views of the ocean, resort pool, and grounds from nearly every room were amazing. The host provided beach chairs and a cooler, the washer/dryer were helpful, and the kitchen had all utensils and even some oil, salt, pepper. Only two issues: (1) need two soaps in the bathrooms, not just one--one by the sink and one by the shower, and (2) the availability of much closer parking to the unit than the cramped underground lot needs to be communicated to guests right when they check in. But these are minor issues, as was the understaffing of the downstairs coffee shop. We loved everything else about this property and full intend to recommend it to others and to come back!!

My husband and I traveled with my adult son and his girlfriend. It was almost impossible to find a 2 bedroom suite on such short notice but this place did not disappoint. It was perfect in almost every way. We all got to stay under the same roof. Which allowed us to share many more intimate experiences such as having meals on the deck and watching movies in the evening in the living room. It was a stunning view that couldn't have been any better. The entire property is beautiful in every way. Special thanks to the bell men and to the ones that check you in upon arrival. They are so very welcoming and kind.

Thank you for sharing your lovely property with others. The location is perfect and the view spectacular. We saw many whales and enjoyed the being outside in our own room. We would love to return. The chocolates upon arrival were such a treat. It was so nice having beach chairs and boogie boards to play in the ocean. It was just a perfect place for two couples.

We couldn't have asked for better accommodation during our 10 day visit. Would highly recommend this to families as it has everything you need. Mostly enjoyed the large lanai and grill for easy lunches and dinners. The kitchen was perfectly equipped and was able to use the beach equipment which saved us in purchases for our one/two time use. Our kids are 9,11,15 and this space was spacious and comfortable!!

We stayed in 3 separate units with extended family of 16 - in 401, 436 and 625. We recommend it highly for families. Jane and I had also come as a couple 2 years ago and enjoyed our stay. The units are all well furnished and appointed including all living amenities needed. The outdoor facilities, (with multiple pools, hot tubs) and Duke's restaurant are truly excellent for families. We enjoyed visiting nearby spots such as Lahaina, Plantation Golf restaurant, Fleming Beach, etc - all close by by car.

Honua Kai Konea 401 was AMAZING! It was a wonderful suite with all of the basics covered. The VIEW could not be beat - we were able to easily whale watch from the suite. The rental agency/manager (Vacasa/Kaanapali Beach Properties) was available, friendly and helpful. The staff at Honua Kai - especially the valets - were also friendly and great resources for what to do/where to go. The pools offered something for everyone and because there were 3 with ample layouts accommodating numerous chairs we were always able to find a place to sit. Loved our stay and next time would love to extend it longer!
